لَّفَشِلْتُمْ
surely you would have lost courage
×1
وَلَتَنَٰزَعْتُمْ
and surely you would have disputed
×1
يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ
He showed them to you,
×1
ٱلْتَقَيْتُمْ
you met -
×2
أَعْيُنِكُمْ
your eyes
×1
وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ
and He made you (appear) as few
×1
فَٱثْبُتُوا۟
then be firm
×1
تَنَٰزَعُوا۟
dispute
×1
فَتَفْشَلُوا۟
lest you lose courage
×1
وَتَذْهَبَ
and (would) depart
×1
رِيحُكُمْ
your strength,
×9
كَٱلَّذِينَ
like those who
×1
بَطَرًا
boastfully
×1
وَرِئَآءَ
and showing off
×4
وَيَصُدُّونَ
and hinder (them)
×7
مُحِيطٌ
(is) All-Encompassing.

غَالِبَ
(can) overcome
×1
جَارٌ
a neighbor
×1
تَرَآءَتِ
came in sight
×1
ٱلْفِئَتَانِ
the two forces
×1
نَكَصَ
he turned away
×1
غَرَّ
"(Had) deluded
×3
يَتَوَكَّلْ
puts (his) trust
×4
يَتَوَفَّى
take away souls
×17
وُجُوهَهُمْ
their faces
×3
وَذُوقُوا۟
"Taste
×5
ٱلْحَرِيقِ
(of) the Blazing Fire."

قَوِىٌّ
(is) All-Strong
×8
يَكُ
is
×1
مُغَيِّرًا
One Who changes
×1
أَنْعَمَهَا
which He had bestowed
×3
فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم
so We destroyed them
×2
ٱلدَّوَآبِّ
(of) the living creatures
×1
عَٰهَدتَّ
you made a covenant
×4
يَنقُضُونَ
they break
×18
يَتَّقُونَ
fear (Allah).
×7
فَإِمَّا
So if
×1
تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ
you gain dominance over them
×1
فَشَرِّدْ
disperse
×1
تَخَافَنَّ
you fear
×1
خِيَانَةً
betrayal
×1
فَٱنۢبِذْ
throw back
×1
سَبَقُوٓا۟
they can outstrip.
×1
يُعْجِزُونَ
escape.
×1
وَأَعِدُّوا۟
And prepare
×1
رِّبَاطِ
tethered
×1
ٱلْخَيْلِ
horses
×1
تُرْهِبُونَ
(to) terrify
