لِيُثْبِتُوكَ
that they restrain you

يَقْتُلُوكَ
kill you

يُخْرِجُوكَ
drive you out.

وَيَمْكُرُونَ
And they were planning

وَيَمْكُرُ
and (also) was planning

ٱلْمَٰكِرِينَ
(of) the Planners.

لَقُلْنَا
surely, we could say

ٱللَّهُمَّ
"O Allah!

فَأَمْطِرْ
then (send) rain

ٱئْتِنَا
bring (upon) us

بِعَذَابٍ
a punishment
×2
يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
seek forgiveness.

أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥٓ
its guardians?

أَوْلِيَآؤُهُۥٓ
its guardians

ٱلْبَيْتِ
the House

مُكَآءً
whistling
×1
وَتَصْدِيَةً
and clapping.

لِيَصُدُّوا۟
to hinder (people)
×1
فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا
So they will spend it,

يُغْلَبُونَ
they will be overcome.
×1
لِيَمِيزَ
That may distinguish
×1
فَيَرْكُمَهُۥ
and heap them
×1
فَيَجْعَلَهُۥ
and put them
×1
يَعُودُوا۟
they return
×1
مَضَتْ
preceded
×3
سُنَّتُ
(the) practice
×4
ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ
(is) the Protector,
×4
وَنِعْمَ
and Excellent
×2
غَنِمْتُم
you obtain (as) spoils of war
×1
خُمُسَهُۥ
(is) one fifth of it
×7
وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ
and the orphans
×7
عَبْدِنَا
Our slave
×3
ٱلْتَقَى
(when) met
×4
ٱلْجَمْعَانِ
the two forces.
×2
بِٱلْعُدْوَةِ
(were) on the side,
×1
ٱلْقُصْوَىٰ
the farther
×1
وَٱلرَّكْبُ
and the caravan
×1
تَوَاعَدتُّمْ
you (had) made an appointment
×1
لَٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ
certainly you would have failed
×1
ٱلْمِيعَٰدِ
the appointment.

أَمْرًا
a matter
×6
مَفْعُولًا
destined,
×2
لِّيَهْلِكَ
that (might be) destroyed
×2
حَىَّ
(were to) live
×2
لَسَمِيعٌ
(is) All-Hearing,
×1
يُرِيكَهُمُ
you (where) shown them
×1
مَنَامِكَ
your dream
×1
أَرَىٰكَهُمْ
He had shown them to you
