وَيُمِيتُ
and causes death.

وَرَسُولِهِ
and His Messenger,

ٱلْأُمِّىِّ
the unlettered

وَكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ
and His Words,

وَٱتَّبِعُوهُ
and follow him
×2
وَبِهِۦ
and by it
×2
وَقَطَّعْنَٰهُمُ
And We diverse_ided them
×1
ٱثْنَتَىْ
(into) two
×5
عَشْرَةَ
(and) ten [i.e. twelve]
×1
أَسْبَاطًا
tribes
×2
أُمَمًا
(as) communities.
×1
ٱسْتَسْقَىٰهُ
asked him for water
×3
بِّعَصَاكَ
with your staff
×3
ٱلْحَجَرَ
the stone."
×1
فَٱنۢبَجَسَتْ
Then gushed forth
×2
ٱثْنَتَا
two
×2
مَّشْرَبَهُمْ
their drinking place.
×2
وَظَلَّلْنَا
And We shaded
×1
ٱلْغَمَٰمَ
(with) the clouds
×2
ٱسْكُنُوا۟
"Live
×29
حَيْثُ
wherever
×5
شِئْتُمْ
you wish
×8
وَقُولُوا۟
and say,
×2
نَّغْفِرْ
We will forgive
×1
خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِكُمْ
your sins.
×1
سَنَزِيدُ
We will increase (reward)
×1
وَسْـَٔلْهُمْ
And ask them
×28
كَانَتْ
was
×23
ٱلْبَحْرِ
(by) the sea,
×1
يَعْدُونَ
they transgressed
×1
حِيتَانُهُمْ
their fish
×1
سَبْتِهِمْ
(of) their Sabbath
×1
شُرَّعًا
visibly
×1
يَسْبِتُونَ
they had Sabbath
×1
نَبْلُوهُم
We test them
×1
تَعِظُونَ
(do) you preach
×1
مُهْلِكُهُمْ
(is going to) destroy them
×2
مُعَذِّبُهُمْ
punish them
×1
مَعْذِرَةً
"To be absolved
×1
بَـِٔيسٍۭ
wretched,
×2
عَتَوْا۟
they exceeded all bounds
×37
عَنْهُ
from it,
×2
خَٰسِـِٔينَ
despised."
×2
تَأَذَّنَ
declared
×1
لَيَبْعَثَنَّ
that He would surely send
×1
يَسُومُهُمْ
would afflict them
×1
لَسَرِيعُ
(is) surely swift
×3
ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ
(are) the righteous
