to receive guidance

وَنُودُوٓا۟
And they will be addressed,

تِلْكُمُ
"This

أُورِثْتُمُوهَا
you have been made to inherit it

وَعَدَنَا
(had) promised us
×2
مُؤَذِّنٌۢ
an announcer
×1
وَبَيْنَهُمَا
And between them
×2
ٱلْأَعْرَافِ
the heights
×2
بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ
by their marks.
×2
وَنَادَوْا۟
And they will call out
×1
يَطْمَعُونَ
hope.
×1
صُرِفَتْ
are turned
×2
تِلْقَآءَ
towards
×1
يَعْرِفُونَهُم
whom they recognize
×1
جَمْعُكُمْ
your gathering
×2
أَقْسَمْتُمْ
you had sworn
×2
يَنَالُهُمُ
(will) grant them
×2
أَفِيضُوا۟
"Pour
×1
حَرَّمَهُمَا
has forbidden both
×3
وَلَعِبًا
and play
×1
نَنسَىٰهُمْ
We forget them
×1
جِئْنَٰهُم
We had brought them
×2
فَصَّلْنَٰهُ
which We have explained
×1
نَسُوهُ
had forgotten it
×1
فَيَشْفَعُوا۟
so (that) they intercede
×1
فَنَعْمَلَ
so (that) we do (deeds)

خَسِرُوٓا۟
they lost
×1
يَطْلُبُهُۥ
seeking it
×1
حَثِيثًا
rapidly
×3
وَٱلنُّجُومَ
and the stars -
×3
وَٱلْأَمْرُ
and the command,
×8
ٱدْعُوا۟
Call upon
×2
وَٱدْعُوهُ
And call Him
×4
وَطَمَعًا
and hope.

يَدَىْ
before

أَقَلَّتْ
they have carried
×1
ثِقَالًا
heavy,
×1
سُقْنَٰهُ
We drive them
×1
لِبَلَدٍ
to a land,
×3
مَّيِّتٍ
dead,
