وَأَكْلِهِمُ
and eating

ٱلسُّحْتَ
the forbidden.

يَنْهَىٰهُمُ
forbid them,
×1
ٱلرَّبَّٰنِيُّونَ
the Rabbis

وَٱلْأَحْبَارُ
and the religious scholars

يَصْنَعُونَ
do.

يَدُ
"The Hand

غُلَّتْ
Are chained
×1
وَلُعِنُوا۟
and they have been cursed
×1
مَبْسُوطَتَانِ
(are) stretched out
×2
وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ
And surely increase
×4
وَكُفْرًا
and disbelief.
×1
أَوْقَدُوا۟
they kindled
×1
لِّلْحَرْبِ
of [the] war,
×1
أَطْفَأَهَا
it (was) extinguished
×1
لَكَفَّرْنَا
surely We (would have) removed
×2
وَلَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْ
and surely We (would have) admitted them
×1
لَأَكَلُوا۟
surely they (would have) eaten
×3
أَرْجُلِهِم
their feet.
×1
مُّقْتَصِدَةٌ
moderate,
×6
وَكَثِيرٌ
but many
×1
تَفْعَلْ
you do
×1
يَعْصِمُكَ
will protect you
×2
لَسْتُمْ
You are not
×1
تُقِيمُوا۟
you stand firmly
×4
طُغْيَٰنًا
(in) rebellion
×2
تَأْسَ
grieve
×1
وَٱلصَّٰبِـُٔونَ
and the Sabians

ٱلْءَاخِرِ
the Last
×9
مِيثَٰقَ
a Covenant
×3
وَأَرْسَلْنَآ
and We sent
×5
تَهْوَىٰٓ
desired
×1
وَحَسِبُوٓا۟
And they thought
×1
فَعَمُوا۟
so they became blind
×2
وَصَمُّوا۟
and they became deaf.
×1
عَمُوا۟
they became blind
×10
كَثِيرٌ
many
×1
ثَالِثُ
(is the) third
×2
يَنتَهُوا۟
they desist
×1
لَيَمَسَّنَّ
surely will afflict
×1
وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَهُۥ
and seek His forgiveness?
×3
قَبْلِهِ
before him
×1
صِدِّيقَةٌ
(was) truthful.
×1
يَأْكُلَانِ
eat
×1
نُبَيِّنُ
We make clear
×3
أَهْوَآءَ
(vain) desires
×1
وَأَضَلُّوا۟
and they misled
×1
وَضَلُّوا۟
and they have strayed
