ٱسْتَزَلَّهُمُ

لَمَغْفِرَةٌ
certainly forgiveness

قُتِلْتُمْ
are killed,

تُحْشَرُونَ
you will be gathered.

فَبِمَا
So because

لِنتَ
you dealt gently

فَظًّا
rude
×1
ٱلْقَلْبِ
(at) [the] heart,

لَٱنفَضُّوا۟
surely they (would have) dispersed

حَوْلِكَ
around you.

وَشَاوِرْهُمْ
and consult them
×1
عَزَمْتَ
you have decided,
×2
فَتَوَكَّلْ
then put trust
×1
ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ
the ones who put trust (in Him).

يَخْذُلْكُمْ
He forsakes you,
×1
يَغُلَّ
he defrauds.
×1
يَغْلُلْ
defrauds
×2
تُوَفَّىٰ
is repaid in full
×2
بَآءَ
draws
×1
بِسَخَطٍ
on (himself) wrath
×1
أَوَلَمَّآ
Or when
×2
أَصَٰبَتْكُم
struck you
×1
أَصَبْتُم
you (had) struck (them)
×1
مِّثْلَيْهَا
twice of it,
×1
ٱدْفَعُوا۟
defend."

قِتَالًا
fighting
×1
لَّٱتَّبَعْنَٰكُمْ
certainly we (would have) followed you."

لِلْكُفْرِ
to disbelief

أَقْرَبُ
(were) nearer
×55
أَعْلَمُ
(is) Most Knowing

وَقَعَدُوا۟
while they sat,
×1
أَطَاعُونَا
they (had) obeyed us
×1
فَٱدْرَءُوا۟
"Then avert
×1
فَرِحِينَ
Rejoicing
×1
وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
and they receive good tidings
×4
بِنِعْمَةٍ
of Favor
×4
وَفَضْلٍ
and Bounty
×4
ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟
responded

مَآ
what

أَصَابَهُمُ
befell them -

ٱلْقَرْحُ
the injury -
×1
جَمَعُوا۟
gathered
×1
فَٱخْشَوْهُمْ
so fear them."
×1
ٱلْوَكِيلُ
[the] Disposer of affairs."

فَٱنقَلَبُوا۟
So they returned
