تَرَبُّصُ
(is a) waiting (of)

فَإِن
then if

فَآءُو
they return -

عَزَمُوا۟
they resolve

ٱلطَّلَٰقَ
(on) [the] divorce -

وَٱلْمُطَلَّقَٰتُ
And the women who are divorced
×2
يَتَرَبَّصْنَ
shall wait
×1
قُرُوٓءٍ
monthly periods.
×1
يَكْتُمْنَ
they conceal
×1
أَرْحَامِهِنَّ
their wombs,
×1
وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ
And their husbands
×1
بِرَدِّهِنَّ
to take them back
×4
أَرَادُوٓا۟
they wish
×2
إِصْلَٰحًا
(for) reconciliation.
×1
وَلِلرِّجَالِ
and for the men
×1
مَرَّتَانِ
(is) twice.
×1
فَإِمْسَاكٌۢ
Then to retain
×6
بِمَعْرُوفٍ
in a reasonable manner
×1
تَسْرِيحٌۢ
to release (her)
×2
تَأْخُذُوا۟
you take (back)
×1
يَخَافَآ
both fear
×3
يُقِيمَا
they both (can) keep
×8
عَلَيْهِمَا
on both of them
×1
ٱفْتَدَتْ
she ransoms
×1
تَعْتَدُوهَا
transgress them.
×2
طَلَّقَهَا
he divorces her,
×1
تَنكِحَ
she marries
×1
زَوْجًا
a spouse
×11
غَيْرَهُۥ
other than him.

يَتَرَاجَعَآ
they return to each other
×1
يُبَيِّنُهَا
He makes them clear

طَلَّقْتُمُ
you divorce
×2
فَبَلَغْنَ
and they reach
×3
فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ
then retain them
×1
سَرِّحُوهُنَّ
release them
×1
تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ
retain them
×1
لِّتَعْتَدُوا۟
so that you transgress.
×2
تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ
hinder them
×1
يَنكِحْنَ
(from) marrying
×1
أَزْوَٰجَهُنَّ
their husbands

كَانَ
[is]
×1
وَٱلْوَٰلِدَٰتُ
And the mothers
×1
يُرْضِعْنَ
shall suckle
×1
حَوْلَيْنِ
(for) two years
×1
كَامِلَيْنِ
complete,
×3
يُتِمَّ
complete
×1
ٱلرَّضَاعَةَ
the suckling.
×1
ٱلْمَوْلُودِ
the father
