خَطْبُكَ
(is) your case,

يَٰسَٰمِرِىُّ
O Samiri?"

بَصُرْتُ

يَبْصُرُوا۟
they perceive,

قَبْضَةً
a handful

فَنَبَذْتُهَا
then threw it,

نَفْسِى

فَٱذْهَبْ
"Then go.

مِسَاسَ
touch."

تُخْلَفَهُۥ
you will fail to (keep) it.

وَٱنظُرْ
And look

إِلَٰهِكَ
your god

ظَلْتَ
you have remained
×1
عَاكِفًا
devoted.
×1
لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ
Surely we will burn it
×1
لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ
certainly we will scatter it
×8
ٱلْيَمِّ
the sea
×2
نَسْفًا
(in) particles."

وِزْرًا
a burden.
×1
وَنَحْشُرُ
and We will gather
×1
زُرْقًا
blue-eyed.
×2
يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ
They are murmuring
×2
عَشْرًا
ten."

طَرِيقَةً
(in) conduct,
×6
وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ
And they ask you
×1
يَنسِفُهَا
"Will blast them
×1
فَيَذَرُهَا
Then He will leave it,
×1
قَاعًا
a level
×1
صَفْصَفًا
plain.

عِوَجًا
any crookedness
×1
أَمْتًا
any curve."
×1
ٱلدَّاعِىَ
the caller,
×1
وَخَشَعَتِ
And (will be) humbled
×1
ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ
the voices
×1
هَمْسًا
a faint sound.
×1
وَرَضِىَ
and He has accepted
×1
وَعَنَتِ
And (will be) humbled
×2
ٱلْوُجُوهُ
the faces
×1
لِلْحَىِّ
before the Ever-Living,
×3
ٱلْقَيُّومِ
the Self-Subsisting.
×1
هَضْمًا
deprivation.
×2
ٱلْوَعِيدِ
the warnings
×2
يُحْدِثُ
it may cause
×1
وَحْيُهُۥ
its revelation,
×1
زِدْنِى
Increase me

وَلَقَدْ
And verily
×1
عَهِدْنَآ
We made a covenant
