أَبُوكِ
your father

ٱمْرَأَ
an evil man,

أُمُّكِ
your mother

فَأَشَارَتْ
Then she pointed

نُكَلِّمُ
(can) we speak

عَبْدُ
a slave
×1
ءَاتَىٰنِىَ
He gave me
×3
مُبَارَكًا
blessed
×1
وَأَوْصَٰنِى
and has enjoined (on) me
×3
دُمْتُ
as long as I am
×2
وَبَرًّۢا
And dutiful
×1
بِوَٰلِدَتِى
to my mother,
×1
يَجْعَلْنِى
He (has) made me
×3
جَبَّارًا
insolent,
×3
شَقِيًّا
unblessed.
×2
وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ
And peace (be)
×1
وُلِدتُّ
I was born
×2
يَمْتَرُونَ
they dispute.
×10
وَرَبُّكُمْ
and your Lord,
×5
فَٱعْبُدُوهُ
so worship Him.
×1
مَّشْهَدِ
(the) witnessing
×2
وَأَبْصِرْ
and how (they will) see!
×1
يَأْتُونَنَا
they will come to Us,
×1
ٱلْحَسْرَةِ
(of) the Regret,

إِذْ
when
×1
نَرِثُ
[We] will inherit
×2
صِدِّيقًا
a man of truth,
×7
يَسْمَعُ
hears
×1
يُبْصِرُ
sees
×8
عَنكَ
[to] you
×3
جَآءَنِى
(has) come to me
×28
ٱلْعِلْمِ
the knowledge
×1
يَأْتِكَ
came to you,
×1
فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ
so follow me;
×1
أَهْدِكَ
I will guide you
×5
صِرَٰطًا
(to) the path
×2
عَصِيًّا
disobedient.
×3
يَمَسَّكَ
will touch you
×1
لِلشَّيْطَٰنِ
to the Shaitaan
×1
أَرَاغِبٌ
"Do you hate
×1
ءَالِهَتِى
my gods,
×1
لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ
surely, I will stone you,
×1
وَٱهْجُرْنِى
so leave me
×1
مَلِيًّا
(for) a prolonged time."

سَلَٰمٌ
"Peace (be)
×1
سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ
I will ask forgiveness
×1
حَفِيًّا
Ever Gracious.
×1
وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ
And I will leave you
