ٱنتَبَذَتْ

فَٱتَّخَذَتْ
Then she took

فَتَمَثَّلَ
then he assumed for her the likeness

قَالَتْ
She said,

بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
with the Most Gracious

لِأَهَبَ
that I (may) bestow

غُلَٰمًا
a son
×1
زَكِيًّا
pure."

أَكُ
I am

بَغِيًّا
unchaste?"
×1
وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ
and so that We will make him

فَحَمَلَتْهُ
So she conceived him,
×1
فَٱنتَبَذَتْ
and she withdrew
×1
قَصِيًّا
remote.
×1
فَأَجَآءَهَا
Then drove her
×1
ٱلْمَخَاضُ
the pains of childbirth
×1
جِذْعِ
(the) trunk
×2
ٱلنَّخْلَةِ
(of) the date-palm.
×3
نَسْيًا
(in) oblivion,
×1
مَّنسِيًّا
forgotten."
×1
فَنَادَىٰهَا
So cried to her

تَحْتِهَآ
beneath her,
×1
تَحْتَكِ
beneath you,
×1
سَرِيًّا
a stream.
×1
وَهُزِّىٓ
And shake
×1
بِجِذْعِ
(the) trunk
×1
رُطَبًا
fresh dates
×1
جَنِيًّا
ripe.
×1
فَكُلِى
So eat
×1
وَٱشْرَبِى
and drink
×1
وَقَرِّى
and cool
×6
عَيْنًا
(your) eyes.
×1
تَرَيِنَّ
you see
×2
ٱلْبَشَرِ
human being
×1
فَقُولِىٓ
then say,
×1
صَوْمًا
a fast,
×1
أُكَلِّمَ
I will speak
×1
إِنسِيًّا
(to any) human being."
×1
فَأَتَتْ
Then she came
×1
قَوْمَهَا
(to) her people,
×1
تَحْمِلُهُۥ
carrying him.
×1
فَرِيًّا
an amazing thing.
×1
يَٰٓأُخْتَ
