ٱطَّلَعْتَ
you had looked

لَوَلَّيْتَ
you (would) have surely turned back
×1
وَلَمُلِئْتَ
and surely you would have been filled

رُعْبًا
(with) terror.

لِيَتَسَآءَلُوا۟
that they might question

أَحَدَكُم
one of you
×1
بِوَرِقِكُمْ
with this silver coin of yours

أَزْكَىٰ
the purest

طَعَامًا
food,
×1
فَلْيَأْتِكُم
and let him bring to you
×1
بِرِزْقٍ
provision
×1
وَلْيَتَلَطَّفْ
and let him be cautious.
×1
يُشْعِرَنَّ
And let not be aware
×1
يَرْجُمُوكُمْ
they will stone you
×1
يُعِيدُوكُمْ
return you
×2
مِلَّتِهِمْ
their religion.
×1
تُفْلِحُوٓا۟
will you succeed
×1
أَعْثَرْنَا
We made known
×1
لِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟
that they might know
×1
غَلَبُوا۟
prevailed
×1
لَنَتَّخِذَنَّ
"Surely we will take

سَيَقُولُونَ
They say,
×3
كَلْبُهُمْ
their dog;
×1
رَجْمًۢا
guessing
×12
بِٱلْغَيْبِ
about the unseen;

وَثَامِنُهُمْ
and the eight of them
×1
بِعِدَّتِهِم
their number.

يَعْلَمُهُمْ
knows them
×1
تُمَارِ
argue
×1
مِرَآءً
(with) an argument
×1
تَسْتَفْتِ
inquire
×1
تَقُولَنَّ
say
×1
لِشَا۟ىْءٍ
of anything,
×1
فَاعِلٌ
will do
×4
غَدًا
tomorrow."

لِأَقْرَبَ
to a nearer (way)
×1
وَلَبِثُوا۟
And they remained
×8
مِا۟ئَةٍ
hundred
×1
وَٱزْدَادُوا۟
and add
×1
تِسْعًا
nine.
×4
لَبِثُوا۟
they remained.

غَيْبُ
(is the) unseen
×1
وَأَسْمِعْ
And how clearly He hears!
