فَأَبَى
But refused

كُفُورًا
disbelief.

تَمْلِكُونَ
possess

لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ
surely you would withhold
×1
ٱلْإِنفَاقِ
(of) spending."
×1
قَتُورًا
stingy.
×3
تِسْعَ
nine
×2
لَأَظُنُّكَ
[I] think you -
×3
مَسْحُورًا
(you are) bewitched."
×1
مَثْبُورًا
(you are) destroyed."
×1
يَسْتَفِزَّهُم
drive them out
×1
فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُ
but We drowned him
×6
وَقُلْنَا
And We said
×1
لَفِيفًا
(as) a mixed crowd."
×2
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ
And with the truth
×14
أَنزَلْنَٰهُ
We sent it down,
×2
مُبَشِّرًا
(as) a bearer of glad tidings
×8
وَنَذِيرًا
and a warner.
×1
وَقُرْءَانًا
And the Quran
×1
فَرَقْنَٰهُ
We have diverse_ided,
×1
لِتَقْرَأَهُۥ
that you might recite it
×1
مُكْثٍ
intervals.
×1
وَنَزَّلْنَٰهُ
And We have revealed it
×1
يَخِرُّونَ
they fall
×2
لِلْأَذْقَانِ
on their faces
×12
سُبْحَٰنَ
"Glory be to
×1
لَمَفْعُولًا
surely fulfilled."
×1
وَيَخِرُّونَ
And they fall
×5
وَيَزِيدُهُمْ
and it increases them
×1
خُشُوعًا
(in) humility.
×1
أَيًّا
By whatever (name)
×1
فَلَهُ
to Him (belongs)
×1
بِصَلَاتِكَ
in your prayers
×1
تُخَافِتْ
be silent
×2
وَٱبْتَغِ
but seek
×3
شَرِيكٌ
a partner
×1
وَكَبِّرْهُ
And magnify Him
×1
تَكْبِيرًۢا
(with all) magnificence."
×95
أَنزَلَ
(has) revealed
×1
عَبْدِهِ
His slave
×2
لَّدُنْهُ
near Him,
×2
وَيُبَشِّرَ
and give glad tidings
×1
مَّٰكِثِينَ
(They will) abide
×1
وَيُنذِرَ
And to warn
×1
كَبُرَتْ
Grave (is)
×9
تَخْرُجُ
(that) comes out
×6
ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ
their footsteps,
×1
لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ
that We may test [them]
