وَٱرْتَابَتْ
and (are in) doubts
×1
رَيْبِهِمْ
their doubts
×1
يَتَرَدَّدُونَ
they waver.
×1
لَأَعَدُّوا۟
surely they (would) have prepared
×4
عُدَّةً
(some) preparation.
×1
ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمْ
their being sent,
×1
فَثَبَّطَهُمْ
so He made them lag behind
×1
ٱقْعُدُوا۟
"Sit
×1
زَادُوكُمْ
they (would) have increased you
×2
خَبَالًا
(in) confusion
×1
وَلَأَوْضَعُوا۟
and would have been active
×1
خِلَٰلَكُمْ
in your midst
×1
يَبْغُونَكُمُ
seeking (for) you
×4
سَمَّٰعُونَ
who would have listened
×1
ٱبْتَغَوُا۟
they had sought
×1
وَقَلَّبُوا۟
and had upset
×1
وَظَهَرَ
and became manifest
×1
ٱئْذَن
"Grant me leave
×1
تَفْتِنِّىٓ
put me to trial."
×1
سَقَطُوا۟
they have fallen.
×2
تُصِبْكَ
befalls you
×1
وَيَتَوَلَّوا۟
And they turn away
×1
يُصِيبَنَآ
will befall us
×1
تَرَبَّصُونَ
you await
×4
بِنَآ
for us
×4
إِحْدَى
one
×1
ٱلْحُسْنَيَيْنِ
(of) the two best (things)
×2
يُصِيبَكُمُ
Allah will afflict you
×1
بِأَيْدِينَا
by our hands?
×1
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
(are) waiting."
×1
مَنَعَهُمْ
prevents them
×1
نَفَقَٰتُهُمْ
their contributions
×1
وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ
and in His Messenger,
×2
كُسَالَىٰ
(are) lazy,
×3
تُعْجِبْكَ
impress you
×20
أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ
their wealth
×2
لِيُعَذِّبَهُم
to punish them
×1
لَمِنكُمْ
surely (are) of you,
×1
وَلَٰكِنَّهُمْ
but they
×2
يَفْرَقُونَ
(who) are afraid.
×1
مَلْجَـًٔا
a refuge
×1
مَغَٰرَٰتٍ
caves
×1
يَجْمَحُونَ
run wild.
×1
يَلْمِزُكَ
criticizes you
×6
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ
the charities.
×1
أُعْطُوا۟
they are given
×1
يَسْخَطُونَ
(are) enraged.

وَقَالُوا۟
and said,
