مِيقَٰتُ

لِأَخِيهِ
to his brother

ٱخْلُفْنِى
"Take my place
×1
وَكَلَّمَهُۥ
and spoke to him

رَبُّهُۥ
his Lord,

أَنظُرْ
(that) I may look

لَن
"Never
×2
تَرَىٰنِى
you (can) see Me,
×2
ٱلْجَبَلِ
the mountain
×1
ٱسْتَقَرَّ
it remains
×2
تَجَلَّىٰ
revealed (His) Glory
×1
لِلْجَبَلِ
to the mountain,
×3
جَعَلَهُۥ
He made it
×1
صَعِقًا
unconscious.
×1
أَفَاقَ
he recovered
×1
ٱصْطَفَيْتُكَ
have chosen you
×1
بِرِسَٰلَٰتِى
with My Messages
×1
وَبِكَلَٰمِى
and with My words.

فَخُذْ
So take
×1
ءَاتَيْتُكَ
I have given you
×3
وَكُن
and be
×1
فَخُذْهَا
"So take them
×1
يَأْخُذُوا۟
(to) take
×1
بِأَحْسَنِهَا
(the) best of it.
×2
سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ
I will show you
×1
سَأَصْرِفُ
I will turn away

ءَايَٰتِىَ
My Signs
×1
يَتَكَبَّرُونَ
are arrogant
×3
ٱلرُّشْدِ
(of) the righteousness,
×2
يَتَّخِذُوهُ
(will) they take it
×1
وَلِقَآءِ
and (the) meeting
×3
يُجْزَوْنَ
they be recompensed
×4
وَٱتَّخَذَ
And took
×1
حُلِيِّهِمْ
their ornaments
×2
خُوَارٌ
(had) a lowing sound.
×3
يُكَلِّمُهُمْ
speak to them
×3
يَهْدِيهِمْ
guide them
×1
ٱتَّخَذُوهُ
They took it (for worship)
×1
سُقِطَ
(it was made to) fall
×1
يَرْحَمْنَا
has Mercy on us,
×2
غَضْبَٰنَ
angry,
×3
بِئْسَمَا
"Evil is what
×1
خَلَفْتُمُونِى
you have done in my place
×1
أَعَجِلْتُمْ
Were you impatient
×3
ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ
the tablets
×1
بِرَأْسِ
by head,
×1
يَجُرُّهُۥٓ
dragging him
×1
ٱسْتَضْعَفُونِى
considered me weak
