قَرْيَتِكُمْ
your town.

ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ
those who stayed behind.

مَّطَرًا
a rain.

فَٱنظُرْ
So see

مَدْيَنَ
Madyan,

فَأَوْفُوا۟
So give full
×6
وَٱلْمِيزَانَ
and the weight
×3
أَشْيَآءَهُمْ
in their things
×2
إِصْلَٰحِهَا
its reformation.
×2
تَقْعُدُوا۟
sit
×1
وَتَصُدُّونَ
and hindering
×1
وَتَبْغُونَهَا
and seeking (to make) it
×1
فَكَثَّرَكُمْ
and He increased you.
×1
وَٱنظُرُوا۟
And see
×1
لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ
"We will surely drive you out
×1
قَرْيَتِنَآ
our city,
×2
مِلَّتِنَا
our religion."
×1
كَٰرِهِينَ
(the) ones who hate (it)?
×1
ٱفْتَرَيْنَا
we would have fabricated
×1
مِلَّتِكُم
your religion
×1
نَّعُودَ
we return
×1
ٱفْتَحْ
Decide
×1
ٱلْفَٰتِحِينَ
(of) those who Decide."
×1
ٱتَّبَعْتُمْ
you follow

إِذًا
then

ٱلرَّجْفَةُ
the earthquake,
×4
يَغْنَوْا۟
they (had) lived
×2
وَنَصَحْتُ
and advised
×1
ءَاسَىٰ
I grieve

نَّبِىٍّ
Prophet

أَخَذْنَآ
We seized
×1
يَضَّرَّعُونَ
(become) humble.

ثُمَّ
Then
×14
مَكَانَ
(in) place
×1
ٱلضَّرَّآءُ
the adversity
×1
وَٱلسَّرَّآءُ
and the ease."

لَفَتَحْنَا
surely We (would have) opened
×1
بَرَكَٰتٍ
blessings
×2
أَفَأَمِنَ
Then did feel secure
×2
نَآئِمُونَ
(were) asleep?
×1
أَوَأَمِنَ
Or felt secure
×1
يَأْمَنُ
feel secure
×2
يَرِثُونَ
inherit
×1
أَصَبْنَٰهُم
We (could) afflict them
×1
وَنَطْبَعُ
and We put a seal
×1
أَنۢبَآئِهَا
their news.
×1
لِأَكْثَرِهِم
for most of them
×1
لَفَٰسِقِينَ
certainly, defiantly disobedient.
