وَأُمِرْنَا
and we have been commanded

لِنُسْلِمَ
that we submit

أَقِيمُوا۟

قَوْلُهُ

ٱلْمُلْكُ
(is) the Dominion

ءَازَرَ

أَتَتَّخِذُ
"Do you take

أَصْنَامًا
idols

وَقَوْمَكَ
and your people

وَلِيَكُونَ
so that he would be

ٱلْمُوقِنِينَ
the ones who are certain.

جَنَّ

كَوْكَبًا
a star.

أَفَلَ
it set,

أُحِبُّ
(do) I like

ٱلْءَافِلِينَ
the ones that set."

يَهْدِنِى
guide me

لَأَكُونَنَّ
I will surely be

ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
who went astray."

أَفَلَتْ

وَجَّهْتُ
[I] have turned

وَجْهِىَ
my face

وَحَآجَّهُۥ
And argued with him

أَتُحَٰٓجُّوٓنِّى
"Do you argue with me

هَدَىٰنِ
He has guided me?

أَفَلَا
Then will not

أَشْرَكْتُمْ
you associate (with Allah)

بِٱلْأَمْنِ
to security

يَلْبِسُوٓا۟
mix

إِيمَٰنَهُم
their belief
×1
حُجَّتُنَآ
(is) Our argument,
×1
ءَاتَيْنَٰهَآ
We gave it
×26
قَوْمِهِۦ
his people.

نَرْفَعُ
We raise
×3
هَدَيْنَا
We guided.
×1
ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ
his descendents,
×1
وَيُوسُفَ
and Yusuf
