مَثْنَىٰ
two,

فَوَٰحِدَةً
then (marry) one
×1
تَعُولُوا۟
you oppress.

صَدُقَٰتِهِنَّ
their dower
×1
نِحْلَةً
graciously.

طِبْنَ
they remit
×1
فَكُلُوهُ
then eat it

هَنِيٓـًٔا
(in) satisfaction
×1
مَّرِيٓـًٔا
(and) ease.

تُؤْتُوا۟
give
×5
ٱلسُّفَهَآءَ
the foolish
×6
قِيَٰمًا
a means of support
×1
وَٱرْزُقُوهُمْ
(but) proverse_ide (for) them
×1
وَٱكْسُوهُمْ
and clothe them
×1
وَٱبْتَلُوا۟
And test
×2
بَلَغُوا۟
they reach[ed]
×1
ءَانَسْتُم
you perceive
×1
فَٱدْفَعُوٓا۟
then deliver
×1
تَأْكُلُوهَآ
eat it
×1
إِسْرَافًا
extravagantly
×1
وَبِدَارًا
and hastily
×1
يَكْبَرُوا۟
they will grow up.
×1
فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ
then he should refrain,
×1
فَلْيَأْكُلْ
then let him eat (of it)
×1
دَفَعْتُمْ
you deliver
×1
فَأَشْهِدُوا۟
then take witnesses

وَكَفَىٰ
And is sufficient
×3
ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ
(by) the parents,
×3
وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ
and the near relatives
×1
كَثُرَ
much -
×1
ٱلْقِسْمَةَ
(at) the (time of) division
×1
فَٱرْزُقُوهُم
then proverse_ide them
×1
وَلْيَخْشَ
And let fear -
×1
خَافُوا۟
(and) they would have feared
×1
فَلْيَتَّقُوا۟
So let them fear

أَمْوَٰلَ
wealth
×19
نَارًا
fire,
×1
وَسَيَصْلَوْنَ
and they will be burned
×1
يُوصِيكُمُ
Instructs you
×6
ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ
(of) two females.
×11
كُنَّ
there are
×2
فَلَهُنَّ
then for them
×1
ثُلُثَا
two thirds
×1
ٱلنِّصْفُ
(is) half.
×1
وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ
And for his parents,
×3
ٱلسُّدُسُ
a sixth
×1
وَوَرِثَهُۥٓ
and inherit[ed] him
×2
أَبَوَاهُ
his parents,
