Then he showed him

ٱلْءَايَةَ

فَكَذَّبَ

أَدْبَرَ
he turned his back,

And he gathered

فَنَادَىٰ
and called out,

فَأَخَذَهُ
So seized him

نَكَالَ
(with) an exemplary punishment

سَمْكَهَا
its ceiling
×1
وَأَغْطَشَ
And He darkened
×1
لَيْلَهَا
its night
×1
وَأَخْرَجَ
and brought out
×2
ضُحَىٰهَا
its brightness.
×1
دَحَىٰهَآ
He spread it.
×1
مَآءَهَا
its water
×1
وَمَرْعَىٰهَا
and its pasture,
×1
أَرْسَىٰهَا
He made them firm,
×1
ٱلطَّآمَّةُ
the Overwhelming Calamity
×7
يَرَىٰ
sees,
×1
وَءَاثَرَ
And preferred
×1
وَنَهَى
and restrained
×7
ٱلنَّفْسَ
his soul
×1
ذِكْرَىٰهَآ
(to) mention it?
×1
مُنتَهَىٰهَآ
(is) its finality.
×1
يَخْشَىٰهَا
fears it.
×3
يَلْبَثُوٓا۟
they had remained
×1
عَشِيَّةً
an evening
×3
يُدْرِيكَ
would make you know
×3
لَعَلَّهُۥ
that he might
×1
فَتَنفَعَهُ
so would benefit him
×2
فَأَنتَ
So you
×1
تَصَدَّىٰ
give attention.
×1
تَلَهَّىٰ
(are) distracted.
×2
ذَكَرَهُۥ
may remember it.
×3
صُحُفٍ
sheets
×1
مُّكَرَّمَةٍ
honored,
×1
بِأَيْدِى
In (the) hands
×1
سَفَرَةٍ
(of) scribes.
×1
كِرَامٍۭ
Noble,
×1
بَرَرَةٍ
dutiful.
×13
قُتِلَ
Is destroyed
×1
أَكْفَرَهُۥ
ungrateful is he!
×2
فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
then He proportioned him,
×1
يَسَّرَهُۥ
He made easy for him,
×1
أَمَاتَهُۥ
He causes him to die
×1
فَأَقْبَرَهُۥ
and proverse_ides a grave for him,
×1
أَنشَرَهُۥ
He will resurrect him.
