may doubt

وَلِيَقُولَ
and that may say

مَّرَضٌ
(is) a disease

جُنُودَ
(the) hosts

أَسْفَرَ
it brightens,

لَإِحْدَى
(is) surely one
×1
يَتَقَدَّمَ
proceed
×1
يَتَأَخَّرَ
stay behind.

رَهِينَةٌ
(is) pledged,
×7
يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
asking each other,
×1
سَلَكَكُمْ
led you
×2
نَكُ
we were
×1
نُطْعِمُ
feed
×4
ٱلْمِسْكِينَ
the poor,
×2
نَخُوضُ
indulge in vain talk
×1
ٱلْخَآئِضِينَ
the vain talkers,
×1
أَتَىٰنَا
came to us
×1
تَنفَعُهُمْ
will benefit them
×1
ٱلشَّٰفِعِينَ
(of) the intercessors.
×1
ٱلتَّذْكِرَةِ
the Reminder

كَأَنَّهُمْ
As if they (were)
×1
حُمُرٌ
donkeys
×1
مُّسْتَنفِرَةٌ
frightened,
×1
فَرَّتْ
Fleeing
×1
قَسْوَرَةٍۭ
a lion?
×5
يُؤْتَىٰ
he may be given
×1
مُّنَشَّرَةً
spread out.
×7
تَذْكِرَةٌ
(is) a Reminder.
×1
وَأَهْلُ
and worthy
×2
ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ
to forgive.
×8
أُقْسِمُ
I swear
×2
بِٱلنَّفْسِ
by the soul
×1
ٱللَّوَّامَةِ
self-accusing.

ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
[the] man
×1
نَّجْمَعَ
We will assemble
×1
عِظَامَهُۥ
his bones?
×2
قَٰدِرِينَ
(We are) Able
×1
نُّسَوِّىَ
We can restore
×1
بَنَانَهُۥ
his fingertips.
×1
لِيَفْجُرَ
to give (the) lie
×1
أَمَامَهُۥ
(to) what is before him.
×1
بَرِقَ
is dazzled
×1
وَخَسَفَ
And becomes dark
×20
وَٱلْقَمَرُ
and the moon,
