تَدَٰرَكَهُۥ
overtook him

لَنُبِذَ
surely he would have been thrown

مَذْمُومٌ
(was) blamed.
×1
فَٱجْتَبَٰهُ
But chose him,

يَكَادُ
would almost

لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ
surely make you slip
×1
بِأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ
with their look
×3
ٱلْحَآقَّةُ
The Inevitable Reality!

بِٱلْقَارِعَةِ
the Striking Calamity.
×2
فَأُهْلِكُوا۟
they were destroyed
×1
بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ
by the overpowering (blast).

عَادٌ
Aad,
×1
صَرْصَرٍ
screaming
×1
عَاتِيَةٍ
violent,
×1
وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ
and eight
×1
حُسُومًا
(in) succession,
×5
فَتَرَى
so you would see
×1
صَرْعَىٰ
fallen
×2
أَعْجَازُ
trunks
×2
نَخْلٍ
(of) date-palms
×2
بَاقِيَةٍ
remains?
×1
قَبْلَهُۥ
before him,
×1
بِٱلْخَاطِئَةِ
with sin.
×1
فَعَصَوْا۟
And they disobeyed
×9
فَأَخَذَهُمْ
so He seized them
×1
أَخْذَةً
(with) a seizure
×1
رَّابِيَةً
exceeding.
×1
طَغَا
overflowed
×1
حَمَلْنَٰكُمْ
We carried you
×1
ٱلْجَارِيَةِ
the sailing (ship).
×1
لِنَجْعَلَهَا
That We might make it
×1
وَتَعِيَهَآ
and would be conscious of it
×1
وَٰعِيَةٌ
conscious.
×10
ٱلصُّورِ
the trumpet -
×1
نَفْخَةٌ
a blast
×1
وَحُمِلَتِ
And are lifted
×1
فَدُكَّتَا
and crushed
×1
دَكَّةً
(with) a crushing
×2
وَقَعَتِ
will occur
×1
وَٱنشَقَّتِ
And will split
×1
وَاهِيَةٌ
frail.
×2
وَٱلْمَلَكُ
And the Angels
×1
أَرْجَآئِهَا
its edges,
×1
وَيَحْمِلُ
and will bear
×1
تُعْرَضُونَ
you will be exhibited,
×1
خَافِيَةٌ
any secret.
×1
هَآؤُمُ
"Here,

ٱقْرَءُوا۟
