يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ
fight you

يُخْرِجُوكُم
drive you out

دِيَٰرِكُمْ
your homes

تَبَرُّوهُمْ
you deal kindly

وَتُقْسِطُوٓا۟
and deal justly
×1
وَأَخْرَجُوكُم
and drive you out

وَظَٰهَرُوا۟
and support
×1
إِخْرَاجِكُمْ
your expulsion,

جَآءَكُمُ
come to you
×7
ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ
the believing women
×1
مُهَٰجِرَٰتٍ
(as) emigrants,
×1
فَٱمْتَحِنُوهُنَّ
then examine them.
×1
بِإِيمَٰنِهِنَّ
of their faith.
×1
عَلِمْتُمُوهُنَّ
you know them
×1
تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ
return them
×4
حِلٌّ
(are) lawful
×2
وَءَاتُوهُم
But give them
×2
تَنكِحُوهُنَّ
you marry them
×4
ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ
you have given them
×1
تُمْسِكُوا۟
hold
×1
بِعِصَمِ
to marriage bonds
×1
ٱلْكَوَافِرِ
(with) disbelieving women,
×2
وَسْـَٔلُوا۟
but ask (for)
×1
وَلْيَسْـَٔلُوا۟
and let them ask
×6
أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ
your wives
×1
فَعَاقَبْتُمْ
then your turn comes,
×1
فَـَٔاتُوا۟
then give
×1
ذَهَبَتْ
have gone,
×6
مُؤْمِنُونَ
(are) believers.
×1
يُبَايِعْنَكَ
pledging to you
×1
يُشْرِكْنَ
they will associate
×1
يَسْرِقْنَ
they will steal,
×1
يَزْنِينَ
they will commit adultery,
×1
يَقْتُلْنَ
they will kill
×2
أَوْلَٰدَهُنَّ
their children,
×1
بِبُهْتَٰنٍ
slander,
×1
يَفْتَرِينَهُۥ
they invent it
×3
أَيْدِيهِنَّ
their hands
×1
وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ
and their feet,
×1
يَعْصِينَكَ
they will disobey you
×1
فَبَايِعْهُنَّ
then accept their pledge
×7
وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ
and ask forgiveness
×8
غَضِبَ
(The) wrath
×2
يَئِسُوا۟
they despair
×2
يَئِسَ
despair
×4
سَبَّحَ
Glorifies
×6
تَفْعَلُونَ
you do?
