تَصَدَّقُوا۟
you remit as charity

تَدَايَنتُم
you contract with one another

بِدَيْنٍ
any debt

فَٱكْتُبُوهُ
then write it.

وَلْيَكْتُب
And let write

بِٱلْعَدْلِ
in justice.

يَأْبَ
(should) refuse

فَلْيَكْتُبْ
So let him write

وَلْيُمْلِلِ
and let dictate

يَبْخَسْ
diminish

سَفِيهًا
(of) limited understanding,

ضَعِيفًا
weak,

يَسْتَطِيعُ
capable

يُمِلَّ
(can) dictate

فَلْيُمْلِلْ
then let dictate

وَلِيُّهُۥ
his guardian

وَٱسْتَشْهِدُوا۟
And call for everse_idence

شَهِيدَيْنِ
two witnesses
×1
يَكُونَا
there are
×1
فَرَجُلٌ
then one man
×1
وَٱمْرَأَتَانِ
and two women
×1
تَرْضَوْنَ
you agree
×2
ٱلشُّهَدَآءِ
[the] witnesses,

فَتُذَكِّرَ
then will remind
×1
تَسْـَٔمُوٓا۟
(be) weary
×1
تَكْتُبُوهُ
you write it -
×2
صَغِيرًا
small
×1
أَجَلِهِۦ
its term.

أَقْسَطُ
(is) more just
