وَتَمَٰثِيلَ

وَجِفَانٍ
and bowls

كَٱلْجَوَابِ
like reservoirs

وَقُدُورٍ
and cooking-pots

رَّاسِيَٰتٍ
fixed.

ٱعْمَلُوٓا۟
"Work,
×1
شُكْرًا
(in) gratitude."

وَقَلِيلٌ
But few
×1
ٱلشَّكُورُ
(are) grateful.

دَلَّهُمْ
indicated to them

مَوْتِهِۦٓ
his death
×1
مِنسَأَتَهُۥ
his staff.

تَبَيَّنَتِ
became clear
×1
لِسَبَإٍ
for Saba

مَسْكَنِهِمْ
their dwelling place

جَنَّتَانِ
Two gardens

يَمِينٍ
(the) right
×1
وَشِمَالٍ
and (on the) left.

فَأَعْرَضُوا۟
But they turned away,

سَيْلَ
(the) flood
×1
ٱلْعَرِمِ
(of) the dam,
×1
وَبَدَّلْنَٰهُم
and We changed for them
×1
بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ
their two gardens
×1
ذَوَاتَىْ
producing fruit
×2
أُكُلٍ
producing fruit
×1
خَمْطٍ
bitter,
×1
وَأَثْلٍ
and tamarisks
×1
وَشَىْءٍ
and (some)thing
×2
سِدْرٍ
lote trees
×10
قَلِيلٍ
few.
×1
ٱلْكَفُورَ
the ungrateful.
×2
قُرًى
towns
×1
وَقَدَّرْنَا
And We determined
×1
ٱلسَّيْرَ
the journey.
×1
لَيَالِىَ
(by) night
×1
وَأَيَّامًا
and (by) day
×18
فَقَالُوا۟
But they said,
×1
أَسْفَارِنَا
our journeys."
×1
وَمَزَّقْنَٰهُمْ
and We dispersed them
×1
ظَنَّهُۥ
his assumption,
×2
إِيَّاكُمْ
you
×1
أَجْرَمْنَا
sins we committed
×1
نُسْـَٔلُ
we will be asked
×1
ٱلْفَتَّاحُ
(is) the Judge
×1
أَلْحَقْتُم
you have joined
×5
كَآفَّةً
comprehensively
×1
مِّيعَادُ
(is the) appointment
