بِسُورَةٍ

وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ
and [the] stones,

رُزِقُوا۟

ثَمَرَةٍ
fruit

رُزِقْنَا
we were proverse_ided

يَضْرِبَ

مَثَلًا
an example

بَعُوضَةً
(of) a mosquito

فَوْقَهَا
above it.

فَيَعْلَمُونَ
[thus] they will know

فَيَقُولُونَ
[thus] they will say

مِيثَٰقِهِۦ
its ratification,
×2
وَيَقْطَعُونَ
and [they] cut
×3
يُوصَلَ
be joined
×2
وَيُفْسِدُونَ
and [they] spread corruption
×2
أَمْوَٰتًا
dead
×1
فَأَحْيَٰكُمْ
then He gave you life;

ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ
He turned
×1
فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ
and fashioned them
×2
خَلِيفَةً
a vicegerent,
×1
أَتَجْعَلُ
"Will You place
×1
يُفْسِدُ
will spread corruption
×1
وَيَسْفِكُ
and will shed
×1
ٱلدِّمَآءَ
[the] blood[s],
×1
نُسَبِّحُ
[we] glorify (You)
×1
بِحَمْدِكَ
with Your praises
×1
وَنُقَدِّسُ
and we sanctify
×1
عَرَضَهُمْ
He displayed them

فَقَالَ
then He said,
×1
أَنۢبِـُٔونِى
"Inform Me
×1
بِأَسْمَآءِ
of (the) names
×1
عَلَّمْتَنَآ
You have taught us.

أَنتَ
You
×4
يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ
"O Adam!
×1
أَنۢبِئْهُم
Inform them
×2
بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ
of their names."
×1
أَنۢبَأَهُم
he had informed them
×3
وَأَعْلَمُ
and I know
×5
تَكْتُمُونَ
conceal."
×6
ٱسْجُدُوا۟
"Prostrate
×2
ٱسْكُنْ
Dwell
×2
وَزَوْجُكَ
and your spouse
×2
شِئْتُمَا
you [both] wish.
×1
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا
Then made [both of] them slip
×1
فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا
and he got [both of] them out

كَانَا
they [both] were
