and we will follow

And you dwelt

مَسَٰكِنِ
the dwellings

وَتَبَيَّنَ
and it had become clear

فَعَلْنَا
We dealt

وَضَرَبْنَا
and We put forth

مَكَرُوا۟
they planned

لِتَزُولَ
that should be moved
×1
مُخْلِفَ
will fail

وَعْدِهِۦ
(to) keep His Promise

رُسُلَهُۥٓ
(to) His Messengers.

ذُو
Owner (of) Retribution.

وَبَرَزُوا۟
and they will come forth

ٱلْقَهَّارِ
the Irresistible.

ٱلْأَصْفَادِ
the chains,

سَرَابِيلُهُم
Their garments
×1
قَطِرَانٍ
tar,
×1
وَتَغْشَىٰ
and will cover
×1
وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟
and that they may know

أَنَّمَا
that only
×1
وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ
and that may take heed
×1
رُّبَمَا
Perhaps
×5
يَوَدُّ
will wish
×2
ذَرْهُمْ
Leave them
×1
يَأْكُلُوا۟
(to) eat
×1
وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟
and enjoy
×1
وَيُلْهِهِمُ
and diverted them
×1
ٱلْأَمَلُ
the hope,

قَرْيَةٍ
town
×2
وَلَهَا
(there was) for it
×1
بِٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
the Angels,
×2
نُنَزِّلُ
We send down
×2
مُّنظَرِينَ
given respite.
×1
شِيَعِ
the sects
×1
نَسْلُكُهُۥ
We let it enter
×14
سُنَّةُ
the way(s)
×4
فَتَحْنَا
We opened
×1
فَظَلُّوا۟
and they were to continue
×1
يَعْرُجُونَ
(to) ascend,
×1
سُكِّرَتْ
have been dazzled
×1
مَّسْحُورُونَ
bewitched."
