بَقَرَٰتٍ
cows

سِمَانٍ
fat,

يَأْكُلُهُنَّ
eating them

عِجَافٌ
lean ones,
×2
وَسَبْعَ
and seven
×2
سُنۢبُلَٰتٍ
ears (of corn)
×4
خُضْرٍ
green,
×2
يَابِسَٰتٍ
dry.
×2
أَفْتُونِى
Explain to me
×2
رُءْيَٰىَ
my vision
×1
لِلرُّءْيَا
of visions
×1
تَعْبُرُونَ
interpret."

بِتَأْوِيلِ
(are) in the interpretation
×1
ٱلْأَحْلَٰمِ
(of) the dreams
×1
بِعَٰلِمِينَ
learned."

نَجَا
was saved
×1
وَٱدَّكَرَ
and remembered
×1
فَأَرْسِلُونِ
so send me forth.
×1
ٱلصِّدِّيقُ
the truthful one!

أَفْتِنَا
Explain to us
×1
أَرْجِعُ
return
×1
تَزْرَعُونَ
"You will sow
×1
دَأَبًا
as usual,
×1
حَصَدتُّمْ
you reap
×1
فَذَرُوهُ
so leave it
×1
سُنۢبُلِهِۦٓ
its ears
×2
شِدَادٌ
hard (years)
×1
يَأْكُلْنَ
(which will) consume
×1
قَدَّمْتُمْ
you advanced
×1
تُحْصِنُونَ
you (will) store.
×1
يُغَاثُ
will be given abundant rain
×1
وَفِيهِ
and in it
×1
يَعْصِرُونَ
they will press."
×2
جَآءَهُ
came to him
×1
فَسْـَٔلْهُ
and ask him
×1
ٱلنِّسْوَةِ
(of) the women
