بِضَٰعَةً
(as) a merchandise.

وَشَرَوْهُ
And they sold him
×1
بِثَمَنٍۭ
for a price
×1
بَخْسٍ
very low,
×1
دَرَٰهِمَ
dirhams
×1
ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ
those keen to give up.
×2
ٱشْتَرَىٰهُ
bought him
×1
لِٱمْرَأَتِهِۦٓ
to his wife,
×1
أَكْرِمِى
"Make comfortable
×1
مَثْوَىٰهُ
his stay.
×2
نَتَّخِذَهُۥ
we will take him
×1
وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُۥ
that We might teach him
×3
ٱلْأَحَادِيثِ
the events.
×1
وَرَٰوَدَتْهُ
And sought to seduce him
×1
بَيْتِهَا
her house
×1
وَغَلَّقَتِ
And she closed
×1
هَيْتَ
"Come on
×2
مَعَاذَ
"I seek refuge in Allah.
×1
مَثْوَاىَ
my stay.
×2
هَمَّتْ
she did desire

رَّءَا
he saw
×1
لِنَصْرِفَ
that We might avert
×2
وَٱلْفَحْشَآءَ
and the immorality.
×1
وَٱسْتَبَقَا
And they both raced
×1
وَقَدَّتْ
and she tore

قَمِيصَهُۥ
his shirt
×3
دُبُرٍ
the back,
×1
وَأَلْفَيَا
and they both found
×1
سَيِّدَهَا
her husband
×2
لَدَا
at
×26
جَزَآءُ
(is) the recompense
×1
يُسْجَنَ
he be imprisoned
×1
رَٰوَدَتْنِى
sought to seduce me
×1
فَصَدَقَتْ
then she has spoken the truth,
×2
كَيْدِكُنَّ
your plot.
×1
وَٱسْتَغْفِرِى
And ask forgiveness
×1
ٱلْخَاطِـِٔينَ
the sinful."

نِسْوَةٌ
women
×1
تُرَٰوِدُ
(is) seeking to seduce
×1
فَتَىٰهَا
her slave boy
×1
شَغَفَهَا
he has impassioned her
×1
لَنَرَىٰهَا
[we] surely see her
×1
سَمِعَتْ
she heard
×1
بِمَكْرِهِنَّ
of their scheming,
×2
إِلَيْهِنَّ
for them
×1
وَأَعْتَدَتْ
and she prepared
×1
مُتَّكَـًٔا
a banquet
×1
وَءَاتَتْ
and she gave
