وَٱسْتَوَتْ
And it rested
×1
ٱلْجُودِىِّ
the Judi.
×2
ٱبْنِى
my son
×1
وَعْدَكَ
Your promise
×1
أَحْكَمُ
(are) the Most Just
×1
تَسْـَٔلْنِ
ask Me
×1
أَعِظُكَ
admonish you
×25
تَكُونَ
you be
×1
أَسْـَٔلَكَ
I (should) ask You
×1
وَتَرْحَمْنِىٓ
and You have mercy on me,
×1
ٱهْبِطْ
Go down
×1
وَبَرَكَٰتٍ
and blessings
×11
مَّعَكَ
with you.
×1
وَأُمَمٌ
But (to other) nations
×1
سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ
We will grant enjoyment;
×1
نُوحِيهَآ
(which) We reveal
×1
تَعْلَمُهَآ
knowing it,
×3
ٱلْعَٰقِبَةَ
the end
×6
هُودًا
Hud.
×1
مُفْتَرُونَ
inventors.
×3
فَطَرَنِىٓ
created me.
×1
وَيَزِدْكُمْ
and increase you
×1
قُوَّتِكُمْ
your strength.
×4
تَتَوَلَّوْا۟
turn away
×1
يَٰهُودُ
"O Hud!
×2
بِبَيِّنَةٍ
clear proofs,
×1
بِتَارِكِىٓ
(will) leave
×1
قَوْلِكَ
your saying,
×8
نَّقُولُ
we say,
×1
ٱعْتَرَىٰكَ
have seized you
×4
بِسُوٓءٍ
with evil."
×2
أُشْهِدُ
[I] call Allah to witness
×1
وَٱشْهَدُوٓا۟
and (you) bear witness
×30
أَنِّى
that I am
×1
فَكِيدُونِى
So plot against me
×7
تُنظِرُونِ
give me respite.
×1
ءَاخِذٌۢ
has grasp
×1
بِنَاصِيَتِهَآ
of its forelock.
×1
تَضُرُّونَهُۥ
you will harm Him
×1
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُم
and We saved them
×1
جَحَدُوا۟
they rejected
×2
وَعَصَوْا۟
and disobeyed
×2
وَأُتْبِعُوا۟
And they were followed
×2
عَادًا
Aad
×1
لِّعَادٍ
with Aad,
×1
وَٱسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ
and settled you
×1
فَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ
So ask forgiveness of Him,
×1
مُّجِيبٌ
All-Responsive."
