لَيَـُٔوسٌ
(is) despairing

كَفُورٌ
(and) ungrateful.

نَعْمَآءَ
(of) favor

لَفَرِحٌ
(is) exultant

فَخُورٌ
(and) boastful.

وَأَجْرٌ
and a reward

فَلَعَلَّكَ
Then possibly you

تَارِكٌۢ
(may) give up
×1
وَضَآئِقٌۢ
and straitened

كَنزٌ
a treasure
×5
وَكِيلٌ
a Guardian.

يَقُولُونَ
they say,

بِعَشْرِ
ten
×1
سُوَرٍ
Surahs
×7
مِّثْلِهِۦ
like it
×1
مُفْتَرَيَٰتٍ
fabricated,
×1
فَإِلَّمْ
Then if not
×3
وَزِينَتَهَا
and its adornments,
×1
نُوَفِّ
We will repay in full
×1
يُبْخَسُونَ
will not be lessened.
×1
وَحَبِطَ
And (has) gone in vain
×3
وَبَٰطِلٌ
and (is) worthless
×1
وَيَتْلُوهُ
and recites it,
×2
فَٱلنَّارُ
then the Fire
×1
مَوْعِدُهُۥ
(will be) his promised (meeting) place.
×2
إِنَّهُ
Indeed, it
×5
مُعْجِزِينَ
(able to) escape
×1
وَأَخْبَتُوٓا۟
and humble themselves
×1
كَٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
(is) like the blind
×1
وَٱلْأَصَمِّ
and the deaf,
×1
وَٱلسَّمِيعِ
and the hearer.

نُوحًا
Nuh

ٱلْمَلَأُ
the chiefs
×4
نَرَىٰكَ
we see you
×1
أَرَاذِلُنَا
(are) the lowest of us
×1
بَادِىَ
immature in opinion.
×1
ٱلرَّأْىِ
immature in opinion.
×7
نَرَىٰ
we see
×1
نَظُنُّكُمْ
we think you
×4
عِندِهِۦ
Himself
×1
أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا
should We compel you (to accept) it

أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ
I ask (of) you
×2
بِطَارِدِ
going to drive away
×1
طَرَدتُّهُمْ
I drove them away?
×1
تَزْدَرِىٓ
look down upon
×2
يُؤْتِيَهُمُ
will Allah give them
×1
جَٰدَلْتَنَا
you disputed with us
×1
فَأَكْثَرْتَ
and you (have been) frequent
