Ayah 1
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ By the morning brightness,
English - By the morning brightness .
हिंदी - सुबह की रौशनी की क़सम।.
Ayah 2
وَٱلَّيْلِ And the night إِذَا when سَجَىٰ it covers with darkness,
English - And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, .
हिंदी - और रात की, जब वह छा जाए।.
Ayah 3
مَا Not وَدَّعَكَ has forsaken you رَبُّكَ your Lord وَمَا and not قَلَىٰ He is displeased,
English - Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. .
हिंदी - तुम्हारे रब ने न तुम्हें छोड़ा और न ही नाराज़ हुआ।.
Ayah 4
وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ And surely the Hereafter خَيْرٌ (is) better لَّكَ for you مِنَ than ٱلْأُولَىٰ the first.
English - And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. .
हिंदी - और तुम्हारे लिए आख़िरत दुनिया से बेहतर है।.
Ayah 5
وَلَسَوْفَ And soon يُعْطِيكَ will give you رَبُّكَ your Lord فَتَرْضَىٰٓ then you will be satisfied.
English - And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. .
हिंदी - और तुम्हारा रब तुम्हें इतना देगा कि तुम खु़श हो जाओगे।.
Ayah 6
أَلَمْ Did not يَجِدْكَ He find you يَتِيمًا an orphan فَـَٔاوَىٰ and give shelter?
English - Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? .
हिंदी - क्या उसने तुम्हें अनाथ नहीं पाया तो पनाह दी।.
Ayah 7
وَوَجَدَكَ And He found you ضَآلًّا lost, فَهَدَىٰ so He guided,
English - And He found you lost and guided [you], .
हिंदी - और तुम्हें बेख़बर नहीं पाया तो राह दी।.
Ayah 8
وَوَجَدَكَ And He found you عَآئِلًا in need, فَأَغْنَىٰ so He made self-sufficient.
English - And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. .
हिंदी - और तुम्हें ज़रूरतमंद पाया तो मालदार कर दिया।.
Ayah 9
فَأَمَّا So as for ٱلْيَتِيمَ the orphan, فَلَا then (do) not تَقْهَرْ oppress,
English - So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. .
हिंदी - तो तुम थी अनाथ पर ज़बरदस्ती न करो ।.
Ayah 10
وَأَمَّا And as for ٱلسَّآئِلَ one who asks, فَلَا then (do) not تَنْهَرْ repel,
English - And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. .
हिंदी - और माँगने वाले को मत झिड़को ।.
Ayah 11
وَأَمَّا But as for بِنِعْمَةِ (the) Favor رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord فَحَدِّثْ narrate.
English - But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. .
हिंदी - और अपने रब की नेमतों को बयान करते जाओ ।.
