Ayah 1
وَٱلشَّمْسِ By the sun وَضُحَىٰهَا and its brightness,
English - By the sun and its brightness .
हिंदी - क़सम है सूरज की और उसकी रौशनी की ।.
Ayah 2
وَٱلْقَمَرِ And the moon إِذَا when تَلَىٰهَا it follows it,
English - And [by] the moon when it follows it .
हिंदी - और चाँद की जब वह उसके पीछे आए।.
Ayah 3
وَٱلنَّهَارِ And the day إِذَا when جَلَّىٰهَا it displays it,
English - And [by] the day when it displays it .
हिंदी - और दिन की जब वह उसे रौशन करता है।.
Ayah 4
وَٱلَّيْلِ And the night إِذَا when يَغْشَىٰهَا it covers it,
English - And [by] the night when it covers it .
हिंदी - और रात की जब वह उस पर छा जाती है।.
Ayah 5
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ And the heaven وَمَا and (He) Who بَنَىٰهَا constructed it,
English - And [by] the sky and He who constructed it .
हिंदी - और आसमान की और जिसने उसे बनाया।.
Ayah 6
وَٱلْأَرْضِ And the earth وَمَا and by (He) Who طَحَىٰهَا spread it,
English - And [by] the earth and He who spread it .
हिंदी - और ज़मीन की और जिसने उसे बिछाया।.
Ayah 7
وَنَفْسٍ And (the) soul وَمَا and (He) Who سَوَّىٰهَا proportioned it,
English - And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it .
हिंदी - और जान की और जिसने उसे ठीक ठीक बनाया।.
Ayah 8
فَأَلْهَمَهَا And He inspired it فُجُورَهَا (to distinguish) its wickedness وَتَقْوَىٰهَا and its righteousness
English - And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness, .
हिंदी - फिर उसे उसकी बुराई और अच्छाई समझाई ।.
Ayah 9
قَدْ Indeed, أَفْلَحَ he succeeds مَن who زَكَّىٰهَا purifies it,
English - He has succeeded who purifies it, .
हिंदी - वह कामयाब हो गया जिस ने इस को पवित्र रखा ।.
Ayah 10
وَقَدْ And indeed, خَابَ he fails مَن who دَسَّىٰهَا buries it.
English - And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]. .
हिंदी - और वह नाकाम हुआ जिसने उसे भ्रष्ट किया ।.
Ayah 11
كَذَّبَتْ Denied ثَمُودُ Thamud بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ by their transgression,
English - Thamūd denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression, .
हिंदी - समूद ने अपनी विद्रोहिता से झुठलाया।.
Ayah 12
إِذِ When ٱنۢبَعَثَ (was) sent forth أَشْقَىٰهَا (the) most wicked of them.
English - When the most wretched of them was sent forth. .
हिंदी - जब उन में से सबसे बुरा व्यक्ति खड़ा हुआ।.
Ayah 13
فَقَالَ But said لَهُمْ to them رَسُولُ (the) Messenger ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, نَاقَةَ "(It is the) she-camel ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَسُقْيَٰهَا and her drink."
English - And the messenger of Allah [Şalih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink." .
हिंदी - तो अल्लाह के रसूल ने उनसे कहा अल्लाह की ऊँटनी है और उसके पानी पीने का वक़्त है।.
Ayah 14
فَكَذَّبُوهُ But they denied him, فَعَقَرُوهَا and they hamstrung her. فَدَمْدَمَ So destroyed عَلَيْهِمْ them رَبُّهُم their Lord بِذَنۢبِهِمْ for their sin فَسَوَّىٰهَا and leveled them.
English - But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them]. .
हिंदी - फिर भी उन लोगों ने उसे झुठलाया और उसकी कूँचें काट डालीं तो उनके रब ने उन के ऊपर उनके गुनाह की वजह से ऐसी तबाही डाली की सब को मिट्टी में मिला दिया ।.
Ayah 15
وَلَا And not يَخَافُ He fears عُقْبَٰهَا its consequences.
English - And He does not fear the consequence thereof. .
हिंदी - और उसे उसके अंजाम का कोई डर नहीं है।.
