Ayah 1
بَرَآءَةٌ Freedom from obligations مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ and His Messenger إِلَى to ٱلَّذِينَ those (with) whom عَٰهَدتُّم you made a covenant مِّنَ from ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists.
English - [This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की तरफ़ से बेज़ारी है उनके लिए जिन से तुम ने अहद किया था साझी ठहराने वालों में से।.
Ayah 2
فَسِيحُوا۟ So move about فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land أَرْبَعَةَ (during) four أَشْهُرٍ months وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ but know أَنَّكُمْ that you غَيْرُ (can) not مُعْجِزِى escape ٱللَّهِ Allah وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah مُخْزِى (is) the One Who (will) disgrace ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - तो तुम चार महीने ज़मीन में घूम फिर लो और जान लो कि तुम अल्लाह को बेबस करने वाले नहीं हो और बेशक अल्लाह काफ़िरों को रुसवा करने वाला है।.
Ayah 3
وَأَذَٰنٌ And an announcement مِّنَ from Allah ٱللَّهِ from Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ and His Messenger إِلَى to ٱلنَّاسِ the people يَوْمَ (on the) day ٱلْحَجِّ (of) the greater Pilgrimage ٱلْأَكْبَرِ (of) the greater Pilgrimage أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah بَرِىٓءٌ (is) free from obligations مِّنَ [of] ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ (to) the polytheists, وَرَسُولُهُۥ and (so is) His Messenger. فَإِن So if تُبْتُمْ you repent, فَهُوَ then, it is خَيْرٌ best لَّكُمْ for you. وَإِن But if تَوَلَّيْتُمْ you turn away فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ then know أَنَّكُمْ that you غَيْرُ (can) not مُعْجِزِى escape ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings ٱلَّذِينَ (to) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve بِعَذَابٍ of a punishment أَلِيمٍ painful.
English - And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away – then know that you will not cause failure to Allah. And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की तरफ से हज अकबर के दिन (तुम) लोगों को मुनादी की जाती है कि अल्लाह और उसका रसूल मुशरिकों से बेजार (और अलग) है तो (मुशरिकों) अगर तुम लोगों ने (अब भी) तौबा की तो तुम्हारे हक में यही बेहतर है और अगर तुम लोगों ने (इससे भी) मुंह मोड़ा तो समझ लो कि तुम लोग अल्लाह को हरगिज आजिज नहीं कर सकते और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र इख्तेयार किया उनको दर्दनाक अजाब की खुश खबरी दे दो।.
Ayah 4
إِلَّا Except ٱلَّذِينَ those (with) whom عَٰهَدتُّم you have a covenant مِّنَ among ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists, ثُمَّ then لَمْ not يَنقُصُوكُمْ they have failed you شَيْـًٔا (in any) thing وَلَمْ and not يُظَٰهِرُوا۟ they have supported عَلَيْكُمْ against you أَحَدًا anyone, فَأَتِمُّوٓا۟ so fulfil إِلَيْهِمْ to them عَهْدَهُمْ their treaty إِلَىٰ till مُدَّتِهِمْ their term. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous.
English - Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. .
हिंदी - मगर (हाँ) जिन मुशरिकों से तुमने एहदो पैमान किया था फिर उन लोगों ने भी कभी कुछ तुमसे (वफा एहद में) कमी नहीं की और न तुम्हारे मुकाबले में किसी की मदद की हो तो उनके एहद व पैमान को जितनी मुद्द्त के वास्ते मुकर्रर किया है पूरा कर दो अल्लाह परहेजगारों को यकीनन दोस्त रखता है।.
Ayah 5
فَإِذَا Then when ٱنسَلَخَ have passed ٱلْأَشْهُرُ the sacred months, ٱلْحُرُمُ the sacred months, فَٱقْتُلُوا۟ then kill ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists حَيْثُ wherever وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ you find them وَخُذُوهُمْ and seize them وَٱحْصُرُوهُمْ and besiege them وَٱقْعُدُوا۟ and sit (in wait) لَهُمْ for them كُلَّ (at) every مَرْصَدٍ place of ambush. فَإِن But if تَابُوا۟ they repent وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَءَاتَوُا۟ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah فَخَلُّوا۟ then leave سَبِيلَهُمْ their way. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - फिर जब हुरमत के चार महीने गुजर जाएँ तो मुशरिकों को जहाँ पाओ (बे ताम्मुल) कत्ल करो और उनको गिरफ्तार कर लो और उनको कैद करो और हर घात की जगह में उनकी ताक में बैठो फिर अगर वह लोग (अब भी शिर्क से) बाज आए और नमाज पढ़ने लगें और जकात दे तो उनकी राह छोड़ दो (उनसे ताअरूज न करो) बेशक खुदा बड़ा बख़्शने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 6
وَإِنْ And if أَحَدٌ anyone مِّنَ of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists ٱسْتَجَارَكَ seek your protection فَأَجِرْهُ then grant him protection حَتَّىٰ until يَسْمَعَ he hears كَلَٰمَ (the) Words of Allah. ٱللَّهِ (the) Words of Allah. ثُمَّ Then أَبْلِغْهُ escort him مَأْمَنَهُۥ (to) his place of safety. ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they قَوْمٌ (are) a people لَّا (who) do not know. يَعْلَمُونَ (who) do not know.
English - And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know. .
हिंदी - और (ऐ रसूल) अगर मुशरिकीन में से कोई तुमसे पनाह मागें तो उसको पनाह दो यहाँ तक कि वह अल्लाह का कलाम सुन ले फिर उसे उसकी अमन की जगह वापस पहुँचा दो ये इस वजह से कि ये लोग नादान हैं।.
Ayah 7
كَيْفَ How يَكُونُ can (there) be لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ for the polytheists عَهْدٌ a covenant عِندَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah وَعِندَ and with رَسُولِهِۦٓ His Messenger, إِلَّا except ٱلَّذِينَ those (with) whom عَٰهَدتُّمْ you made a covenant عِندَ near ٱلْمَسْجِدِ Al-Masjid ٱلْحَرَامِ Al-Haraam? فَمَا So long as ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ they are upright لَكُمْ to you فَٱسْتَقِيمُوا۟ then you be upright لَهُمْ to them. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous.
English - How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-îaram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. .
हिंदी - (जब) मुशरिकीन ने खुद एहद शिकनी (तोड़ा) की तो उन का कोई एहदो पैमान अल्लाह के नजदीक और उसके रसूल के नजदीक क्योंकर (कायम) रह सकता है मगर जिन लोगों से तुमने खानाए काबा के पास मुआहेदा किया था तो वह लोग (अपनी एहदो पैमान) तुमसे कायम रखना चाहें तो तुम भी उन से (अपना एहद) कायम रखो बेशक खुदा (बद एहदी से) परहेज करने वालों को दोस्त रखता है।.
Ayah 8
كَيْفَ How وَإِن while, if يَظْهَرُوا۟ they gain dominance عَلَيْكُمْ over you لَا they do not regard (the ties) يَرْقُبُوا۟ they do not regard (the ties) فِيكُمْ with you إِلًّا (of) kinship وَلَا and not ذِمَّةً covenant of protection? يُرْضُونَكُم They satisfy you بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ with their mouths وَتَأْبَىٰ but refuse, قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ and most of them فَٰسِقُونَ (are) defiantly disobedient.
English - How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - (उनका एहद) क्योंकर (रह सकता है) जब (उनकी ये हालत है) कि अगर तुम पर गलबा पा जाएं तो तुम्हारे में न तो रिश्ते नाते ही का लिहाज करेगें और न अपने कौल व करार का ये लोग तुम्हें अपनी जबानी (जमा खर्च में) खुश कर देते हैं हालॉकि उनके दिल नहीं मानते और उनमें के बहुतेरे तो बदचलन हैं।.
Ayah 9
ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ They exchange بِـَٔايَٰتِ [with] the Verses of Allah ٱللَّهِ [with] the Verses of Allah ثَمَنًا (for) a little price, قَلِيلًا (for) a little price, فَصَدُّوا۟ and they hinder (people) عَن from سَبِيلِهِۦٓ His way. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, سَآءَ evil مَا (is) what كَانُوا۟ they used to يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - They have exchanged the signs of Allah for a small price and averted [people] from His way. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing. .
हिंदी - और उन लोगों ने खुदा की आयतों के बदले थोड़ी सी कीमत (दुनियावी फायदे) हासिल करके (लोगों को) उसकी राह से रोक दिया बेशक ये लोग जो कुछ करते हैं ये बहुत ही बुरा है।.
Ayah 10
لَا Not يَرْقُبُونَ they respect (the ties) فِى towards مُؤْمِنٍ a believer إِلًّا (of) kinship وَلَا and not ذِمَّةً covenant of protection. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those هُمُ [they] ٱلْمُعْتَدُونَ (are) the transgressors.
English - They do not observe toward a believer any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. And it is they who are the transgressors. .
हिंदी - ये लोग किसी मोमिन के बारे में न तो रिश्ता नाता ही कर लिहाज करते हैं और न कौल का करार का और (वाकई) यही लोग ज्यादती करते हैं।.
Ayah 11
فَإِن But if تَابُوا۟ they repent وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَءَاتَوُا۟ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah, فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ then (they are) your brothers فِى in ٱلدِّينِ [the] religion. وَنُفَصِّلُ And We explain in detail ٱلْءَايَٰتِ the Verses لِقَوْمٍ for a people يَعْلَمُونَ (who) know.
English - But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then they are your brothers in religion; and We detail the verses for a people who know. .
हिंदी - तो अगर (अभी मुशरिक से) तौबा करें और नमाज पढ़ने लगें और जकात दें तो तुम्हारे दीनी भाई हैं और हम अपनी आयतों को वाकिफकार लोगों के वास्ते तफसीलन बयान करते हैं।.
Ayah 12
وَإِن And if نَّكَثُوٓا۟ they break أَيْمَٰنَهُم their oaths مِّنۢ after بَعْدِ after عَهْدِهِمْ their treaty وَطَعَنُوا۟ and defame فِى [in] دِينِكُمْ your religion, فَقَٰتِلُوٓا۟ then fight أَئِمَّةَ the leaders ٱلْكُفْرِ (of) [the] disbelief, إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they - لَآ no أَيْمَٰنَ oaths لَهُمْ for them, لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَنتَهُونَ cease.
English - And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease. .
हिंदी - और अगर ये लोग एहद कर चुकने के बाद अपनी कसमें तोड़ डालें और तुम्हारे दीन में तुमको ताना दें तो तुम कुफ्र के सरवर आवारा लोगों से खूब लड़ाई करो उनकी कसमें का हरगिज कोई एतबार नहीं ताकि ये लोग (अपनी शरारत से) बाज आएँ।.
Ayah 13
أَلَا Will not تُقَٰتِلُونَ you fight قَوْمًا a people نَّكَثُوٓا۟ who broke أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ their oaths وَهَمُّوا۟ and determined بِإِخْرَاجِ to drive out ٱلرَّسُولِ the Messenger وَهُم and they بَدَءُوكُمْ began (to attack) you أَوَّلَ first مَرَّةٍ time? أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ Do you fear them? فَٱللَّهُ But Allah أَحَقُّ (has) more right أَن that تَخْشَوْهُ you should fear Him, إِن if كُنتُم you are مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers.
English - Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the Messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time? Do you fear them? But Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers. .
हिंदी - (मुसलमानों) भला तुम उन लोगों से क्यों नहीं लड़ते जिन्होंने अपनी कसमों को तोड़ डाला और रसूल को निकाल बाहर करना (अपने दिल में) ठान लिया था और तुमसे पहले छेड़ भी उन्होनें ही शुरू की थी क्या तुम उनसे डरते हो तो अगर तुम सच्चे ईमानदार हो तो अल्लाह उनसे कहीं बढ़ कर तुम्हारे डरने के काबिल है।.
Ayah 14
قَٰتِلُوهُمْ Fight them - يُعَذِّبْهُمُ Allah will punish them ٱللَّهُ Allah will punish them بِأَيْدِيكُمْ by your hands وَيُخْزِهِمْ and disgrace them وَيَنصُرْكُمْ and give you victory عَلَيْهِمْ over them, وَيَشْفِ and will heal صُدُورَ (the) breasts قَوْمٍ (of) a people مُّؤْمِنِينَ (who are) believers.
English - Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people .
हिंदी - इनसे (बेखौफ (खतर) लड़ो खुदा तुम्हारे हाथों उनकी सजा करेगा और उन्हें रूसवा करेगा और तुम्हें उन पर फतेह अता करेगा और ईमानदार लोगों के कलेजे ठन्डे करेगा।.
Ayah 15
وَيُذْهِبْ And remove غَيْظَ (the) anger قُلُوبِهِمْ (of) their hearts. وَيَتُوبُ And Allah accepts repentance ٱللَّهُ And Allah accepts repentance عَلَىٰ of مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - And remove the fury in the believers' hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - और उन मोनिनीन के दिल की कुदरतें जो (कुफ्फार से पहुचॅती है) दफा कर देगा और अल्लाह जिसकी चाहे तौबा कुबूल करे और अल्लाह बड़ा वाकिफकार (और) हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 16
أَمْ Or حَسِبْتُمْ (do) you think أَن that تُتْرَكُوا۟ you would be left وَلَمَّا while not يَعْلَمِ Allah made evident ٱللَّهُ Allah made evident ٱلَّذِينَ those who جَٰهَدُوا۟ strive مِنكُمْ among you, وَلَمْ and not يَتَّخِذُوا۟ take مِن besides Allah دُونِ besides Allah ٱللَّهِ besides Allah وَلَا and not رَسُولِهِۦ His Messenger وَلَا and not ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers وَلِيجَةً (as) intimates? وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do.
English - Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah, His Messenger and the believers as intimates? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. .
हिंदी - क्या तुमने ये समझ लिया है कि तुम (यूं ही) छोड़ दिए जाओगे और अभी तक तो खुदा ने उन लोगों को मुमताज किया ही नहीं जो तुम में के (अल्लाह के रास्ते में) जिहाद करते हैं और अल्लाह और उसके रसूल और मोमेनीन के सिवा किसी को अपना राजदार दोस्त नहीं बनाते और जो कुछ भी तुम करते हो अल्लाह उससे बाखबर है।.
Ayah 17
مَا (It) is not كَانَ (It) is not لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ for the polytheists أَن that يَعْمُرُوا۟ they maintain مَسَٰجِدَ (the) masajid of Allah ٱللَّهِ (the) masajid of Allah شَٰهِدِينَ (while) witnessing عَلَىٰٓ against أَنفُسِهِم themselves بِٱلْكُفْرِ [with] disbelief. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ (For) those, حَبِطَتْ worthless أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ (are) their deeds, وَفِى and in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire هُمْ they خَٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever.
English - It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally. .
हिंदी - मुशरेकीन का ये काम नहीं कि जब वह अपने कुफ्र का खुद इकरार करते है तो खुदा की मस्जिदों को (जाकर) आबाद करे यही वह लोग हैं जिनका किया कराया सब अकारत हुआ और ये लोग हमेशा जहन्नुम में रहेंगे।.
Ayah 18
إِنَّمَا Only يَعْمُرُ will maintain مَسَٰجِدَ (the) masajid of Allah ٱللَّهِ (the) masajid of Allah مَنْ (the one) who ءَامَنَ believes بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day ٱلْءَاخِرِ the Last, وَأَقَامَ and establishes ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَءَاتَى and gives ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah وَلَمْ and not يَخْشَ fear إِلَّا except ٱللَّهَ Allah. فَعَسَىٰٓ Then perhaps أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those, أَن [that] يَكُونُوا۟ they are مِنَ of ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ the guided ones.
English - The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह की मस्जिदों को बस सिर्फ वही (जाकर) आबाद कर सकता है जो अल्लाह और रोजे आख़िरत पर ईमान लाए और नमाज पढ़ा करे और जकात देता रहे और अल्लाह के सिवा (और) किसी से न डरो तो अनकरीब यही लोग हिदायत याफ्ता लोगों मे से हो जाएंगे।.
Ayah 19
أَجَعَلْتُمْ Do you make سِقَايَةَ the providing of water ٱلْحَآجِّ (to) the pilgrims وَعِمَارَةَ and (the) maintenance ٱلْمَسْجِدِ (of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam ٱلْحَرَامِ (of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam كَمَنْ like (the one) who ءَامَنَ believes بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day ٱلْءَاخِرِ the Last, وَجَٰهَدَ and strives فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah? لَا They are not equal يَسْتَوُۥنَ They are not equal عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the people - ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - Have you made the providing of water for the pilgrim and the maintenance of al-Masjid al-îaram equal to [the deeds of] one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. .
हिंदी - क्या तुम लोगों ने हाजियों की सकाई (पानी पिलाने वाले) और मस्जिदुल हराम (खानाए काबा की आबादियों को उस के हमसर (बराबर) बना दिया है जो खुदा और रोजे आखेरत के दिन पर ईमान लाया और खुदा के राह में जेहाद किया अल्लाह के नजदीक तो ये लोग बराबर नहीं और खुदा जालिम लोगों की हिदायत नहीं करता है।.
Ayah 20
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَهَاجَرُوا۟ and emigrated وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ and strove فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives أَعْظَمُ (are) greater دَرَجَةً (in) rank عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those - هُمُ they ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ (are) the successful.
English - The ones who have believed, emigrated and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah. And it is those who are the attainers [of success]. .
हिंदी - जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और (अल्लाह के लिए) हिजरत एख्तियार की और अपने मालों से और अपनी जानों से अल्लाह की राह में जिहाद किया वह लोग अल्लाह के नजदीक दर्जें में कही बढ़ कर हैं और यही लोग (आला दर्जे पर) फायज होने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 21
يُبَشِّرُهُمْ Their Lord gives them glad tidings رَبُّهُم Their Lord gives them glad tidings بِرَحْمَةٍ of Mercy مِّنْهُ from Him وَرِضْوَٰنٍ and Pleasure, وَجَنَّٰتٍ and Gardens لَّهُمْ for them - فِيهَا in it نَعِيمٌ (is) bliss مُّقِيمٌ enduring.
English - Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure. .
हिंदी - उनका परवरदिगार उनको अपनी मेहरबानी और खुशनूदी और ऐसे (हरे भरे) बागों की खुशखबरी देता है जिसमें उनके लिए दाइमी ऐश व (आराम) होगा।.
Ayah 22
خَٰلِدِينَ (They will) abide فِيهَآ in it أَبَدًا forever. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah - عِندَهُۥٓ with Him أَجْرٌ (is) a reward عَظِيمٌ great.
English - [They will be] abiding therein forever. Indeed, Allah has with Him a great reward. .
हिंदी - और ये लोग उन बागों में हमेशा अब्दआलाबाद (हमेशा हमेशा) तक रहेंगे बेशक खुदा के पास तो बड़ा बड़ा अज्र व (सवाब) है।.
Ayah 23
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! لَا (Do) not تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ take ءَابَآءَكُمْ your fathers وَإِخْوَٰنَكُمْ and your brothers أَوْلِيَآءَ (as) allies إِنِ if ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ they prefer ٱلْكُفْرَ [the] disbelief عَلَى over ٱلْإِيمَٰنِ [the] belief. وَمَن And whoever يَتَوَلَّهُم takes them as allies مِّنكُمْ among you, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those هُمُ [they] ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ (are) the wrongdoers.
English - O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does so among you – then it is those who are the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारों अगर तुम्हारे माँ बाप और तुम्हारे (बहन) भाई ईमान के मुकाबले कुफ्र को तरजीह देते हो तो तुम उनको (अपना) खैर ख्वाह (हमदर्द) न समझो और तुममें जो उनसे उलफत रखेगा तो यही लोग जालिम है।.
Ayah 24
قُلْ Say, إِن "If كَانَ are ءَابَآؤُكُمْ your fathers, وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ and your sons, وَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ and your brothers, وَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْ and your wives, وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ and your relatives, وَأَمْوَٰلٌ and wealth ٱقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا that you have acquired وَتِجَٰرَةٌ and the commerce, تَخْشَوْنَ you fear كَسَادَهَا a decline (in) it وَمَسَٰكِنُ and the dwellings تَرْضَوْنَهَآ you delight (in) it أَحَبَّ (are) more beloved إِلَيْكُم to you مِّنَ than ٱللَّهِ Allah, وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger وَجِهَادٍ and striving فِى in سَبِيلِهِۦ His way, فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ then wait حَتَّىٰ until يَأْتِىَ Allah brings ٱللَّهُ Allah brings بِأَمْرِهِۦ His Command. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the people - ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ the defiantly disobedient."
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people." .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो तुम्हारे बाप दादा और तुम्हारे बेटे और तुम्हारे भाई बन्द और तुम्हारी बीबियाँ और तुम्हारे कुनबे वाले और वह माल जो तुमने कमा के रख छोड़ा हैं और वह तिजारत जिसके मन्द पड़ जाने का तुम्हें अन्देशा है और वह मकानात जिन्हें तुम पसन्द करते हो अगर तुम्हें खुदा से और उसके रसूल से और उसकी राह में जिहाद करने से ज्यादा अजीज है तो तुम जरा ठहरो यहाँ तक कि खुदा अपना हुक्म (अजाब) मौजूद करे और खुदा नाफरमान लोगों की हिदायत नहीं करता।.
Ayah 25
لَقَدْ Verily, نَصَرَكُمُ Allah helped you ٱللَّهُ Allah helped you فِى in مَوَاطِنَ regions كَثِيرَةٍ many, وَيَوْمَ and (on the) day حُنَيْنٍ (of) Hunain, إِذْ when أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ pleased you كَثْرَتُكُمْ your multitude, فَلَمْ but not تُغْنِ availed عَنكُمْ you شَيْـًٔا anything وَضَاقَتْ and (was) straitened عَلَيْكُمُ for you ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth بِمَا (in spite) of its vastness, رَحُبَتْ (in spite) of its vastness, ثُمَّ then وَلَّيْتُم you turned back, مُّدْبِرِينَ fleeing.
English - Allah has already given you victory in many regions and [even] on the day of Hunayn, when your great number pleased you, but it did not avail you at all, and the earth was confining for you with its vastness; then you turned back, fleeing. .
हिंदी - (मुसलमानों) खुदा ने तुम्हारी बहुतेरे मकामात पर (गैबी) इमदाद की और (खासकर) जंग हुनैन के दिन जब तुम्हें अपनी कसरत (तादाद) ने मगरूर कर दिया था फिर वह कसरत तुम्हें कुछ भी काम न आयी और (तुम ऐसे घबराए कि) जमीन बावजूद उस वसअत (फैलाव) के तुम पर तंग हो गई तुम पीठ कर भाग निकले।.
Ayah 26
ثُمَّ Then أَنزَلَ Allah sent down ٱللَّهُ Allah sent down سَكِينَتَهُۥ His tranquility عَلَىٰ on رَسُولِهِۦ His Messenger, وَعَلَى and on ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers وَأَنزَلَ and sent down جُنُودًا forces, لَّمْ which you did not see تَرَوْهَا which you did not see وَعَذَّبَ and He punished ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved. وَذَٰلِكَ And that جَزَآءُ (is) the recompense ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers.
English - Then Allah sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers and sent down soldiers angels whom you did not see and punished those who disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - तब अल्लाह ने अपने रसूल पर और मोमिनीन पर अपनी (तरफ से) तसकीन नाजिल फरमाई और (रसूल की खातिर से) फरिश्तों के लश्कर भेजे जिन्हें तुम देखते भी नहीं थे और कुफ्फार पर अजाब नाजिल फरमाया और काफिरों की यही सजा है।.
Ayah 27
ثُمَّ Then يَتُوبُ Allah accepts repentance ٱللَّهُ Allah accepts repentance مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَىٰ for مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Then Allah will accept repentance after that for whom He wills; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - उसके बाद अल्लाह जिसकी चाहे तौबा कुबूल करे और अल्लाह बड़ा बख़्शने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 28
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوٓا۟ O you who believe! إِنَّمَا Indeed, ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ the polytheists نَجَسٌ (are) unclean, فَلَا so let them not come near يَقْرَبُوا۟ so let them not come near ٱلْمَسْجِدَ Al-Masjid Al-Haraam ٱلْحَرَامَ Al-Masjid Al-Haraam بَعْدَ after عَامِهِمْ this, their (final) year. هَٰذَا this, their (final) year. وَإِنْ And if خِفْتُمْ you fear عَيْلَةً poverty, فَسَوْفَ then soon يُغْنِيكُمُ Allah will enrich you ٱللَّهُ Allah will enrich you مِن from فَضْلِهِۦٓ His Bounty, إِن if شَآءَ He wills. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-îaram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारों मुशरेकीन तो निरे नजिस हैं तो अब वह उस साल के बाद मस्जिदुल हराम (खाना ए काबा) के पास फिर न फटकने पाएँ और अगर तुम (उनसे जुदा होने में) फकरों फाका से डरते हो तो अनकरीब ही खुदा तुमको अगर चाहेगा तो अपने फजल (करम) से गनीकर देगा बेशक खुदा बड़ा वाकिफकार हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 29
قَٰتِلُوا۟ Fight ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَلَا and not بِٱلْيَوْمِ in the Day ٱلْءَاخِرِ the Last, وَلَا and not يُحَرِّمُونَ they make unlawful مَا what حَرَّمَ Allah has made unlawful ٱللَّهُ Allah has made unlawful وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger, وَلَا and not يَدِينُونَ they acknowledge دِينَ (the) religion ٱلْحَقِّ (of) the truth, مِنَ from ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Scripture, حَتَّىٰ until يُعْطُوا۟ they pay ٱلْجِزْيَةَ the jizyah عَن willingly, يَدٍ willingly, وَهُمْ while they صَٰغِرُونَ (are) subdued.
English - Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled. .
हिंदी - अहले किताब में से जो लोग न तो (दिल से) खुदा ही पर ईमान रखते हैं और न रोजे आखिरत पर और न खुदा और उसके रसूल की हराम की हुई चीजों को हराम समझते हैं और न सच्चे दीन ही को एख्तियार करते हैं उन लोगों से लड़े जाओ यहाँ तक कि वह लोग जलील होकर (अपने) हाथ से जजिया दे।.
Ayah 30
وَقَالَتِ And said ٱلْيَهُودُ the Jews, عُزَيْرٌ "Uzair ٱبْنُ (is) son ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah." وَقَالَتِ And said ٱلنَّصَٰرَى the Christians, ٱلْمَسِيحُ "Messiah ٱبْنُ (is) son ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah." ذَٰلِكَ That قَوْلُهُم (is) their saying بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ with their mouths, يُضَٰهِـُٔونَ they imitate قَوْلَ the saying ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved مِن before. قَبْلُ before. قَٰتَلَهُمُ (May) Allah destroy them. ٱللَّهُ (May) Allah destroy them. أَنَّىٰ How يُؤْفَكُونَ deluded are they!
English - The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded? .
हिंदी - यहूद तो कहते हैं कि अजीज अल्लाह के बेटे हैं और ईसाई कहते हैं कि मसीहा (ईसा) अल्लाह के बेटे हैं ये तो उनकी बात है और (वह खुद) उन्हीं के मुँह से ये लोग भी उन्हीं काफिरों की सी बातें बनाने लगे जो उनसे पहले गुजर चुके हैं अल्लाह उनको कत्ल (तहस नहस) करके (देखो तो) कहाँ से कहाँ भटके जा रहे हैं।.
Ayah 31
ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ They have taken أَحْبَارَهُمْ their rabbis وَرُهْبَٰنَهُمْ and their monks أَرْبَابًا (as) Lords مِّن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah وَٱلْمَسِيحَ and the Messiah, ٱبْنَ son مَرْيَمَ (of) Maryam. وَمَآ And not أُمِرُوٓا۟ they were commanded إِلَّا except لِيَعْبُدُوٓا۟ that they worship إِلَٰهًا One God. وَٰحِدًا One God. لَّآ (There) is no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ Him. سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glory be to Him عَمَّا from what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him).
English - They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him. .
हिंदी - उन लोगों ने तो अपने अल्लाह को छोड़कर अपनी आलिमों को और अपने जाहिदों को और मरियम के बेटे मसीह को अपना परवरदिगार बना डाला हालॉकि उन्होनें सिवाए इसके और हुक्म ही नहीं दिया गया कि एक माबूद की इबादत करें उसके सिवा (और कोई काबिले परसतिश नहीं) जिस चीज को ये लोग उसका शरीक बनाते हैं वह उससे पाक व पाकीजा है।.
Ayah 32
يُرِيدُونَ They want أَن to يُطْفِـُٔوا۟ extinguish نُورَ Allah's light ٱللَّهِ Allah's light بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ with their mouths, وَيَأْبَى but Allah refuses ٱللَّهُ but Allah refuses إِلَّآ except أَن to يُتِمَّ perfect نُورَهُۥ His Light وَلَوْ even if كَرِهَ the disbelievers dislike (it). ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers dislike (it).
English - They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. .
हिंदी - ये लोग चाहते हैं कि अपने मुँह से (फूंक मारकर) अल्लाह के नूर को बुझा दें और अल्लाह इसके सिवा कुछ मानता ही नहीं कि अपने नूर को पूरा ही करके रहे।.
Ayah 33
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَرْسَلَ has sent رَسُولَهُۥ His Messenger بِٱلْهُدَىٰ with the guidance وَدِينِ and the religion ٱلْحَقِّ (of) [the] truth, لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ to manifest it عَلَى over ٱلدِّينِ all religions. كُلِّهِۦ all religions. وَلَوْ Even if كَرِهَ dislike (it) ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ the polytheists.
English - It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it. .
हिंदी - अगरचे कुफ्फार बुरा माना करें वही तो (वह अल्लाह) है कि जिसने अपने रसूल (मोहम्मद) को हिदायत और सच्चे दीन के साथ ( मबऊस करके) भेजता कि उसको तमाम दीनो पर गालिब करे अगरचे मुशरेकीन बुरा माना करे।.
Ayah 34
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوٓا۟ O you who believe! إِنَّ Indeed, كَثِيرًا many مِّنَ of ٱلْأَحْبَارِ the rabbis وَٱلرُّهْبَانِ and the monks لَيَأْكُلُونَ surely eat أَمْوَٰلَ (the) wealth ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ in falsehood, وَيَصُدُّونَ and hinder عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يَكْنِزُونَ hoard ٱلذَّهَبَ the gold وَٱلْفِضَّةَ and the silver, وَلَا and (do) not يُنفِقُونَهَا spend it فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, فَبَشِّرْهُم [so] give them tidings بِعَذَابٍ of a punishment أَلِيمٍ painful.
English - O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah – give them tidings of a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारों इसमें उसमें शक नहीं कि (यहूद व नसारा के) बहुतेरे आलिम जाहिद लोगों के माल (नाहक) चख जाते है और (लोगों को) अल्लाह की राह से रोकते हैं और जो लोग सोना और चाँदी जमा करते जाते हैं और उसको अल्लाह की राह में खर्च नहीं करते तो (ऐ रसूल) उन को दर्दनाक अजाब की खुशखबरी सुना दो।.
Ayah 35
يَوْمَ (The) Day يُحْمَىٰ it will be heated [on it] عَلَيْهَا it will be heated [on it] فِى in نَارِ the Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell, فَتُكْوَىٰ and will be branded بِهَا with it جِبَاهُهُمْ their foreheads وَجُنُوبُهُمْ and their flanks وَظُهُورُهُمْ and their backs, هَٰذَا "This مَا (is) what كَنَزْتُمْ you hoarded لِأَنفُسِكُمْ for yourselves, فَذُوقُوا۟ so taste مَا what كُنتُمْ you used to تَكْنِزُونَ hoard."
English - The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard." .
हिंदी - (जिस दिन वह (सोना चाँदी) जहन्नुम की आग में गर्म (और लाल) किया जाएगा फिर उससे उनकी पेशानियाँ और उनके पहलू और उनकी पीठें दागी जाएगी (और उनसे कहा जाएगा) ये वह है जिसे तुमने अपने लिए (दुनिया में) जमा करके रखा था तो (अब) अपने जमा किए का मजा चखो।.
Ayah 36
إِنَّ Indeed, عِدَّةَ (the) number ٱلشُّهُورِ (of) the months عِندَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱثْنَا (is) twelve عَشَرَ (is) twelve شَهْرًا months فِى in كِتَٰبِ (the) ordinance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah يَوْمَ (from the) Day خَلَقَ He created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth; مِنْهَآ of them, أَرْبَعَةٌ four حُرُمٌ (are) sacred. ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلدِّينُ (is) the religion ٱلْقَيِّمُ the upright, فَلَا so (do) not تَظْلِمُوا۟ wrong فِيهِنَّ therein أَنفُسَكُمْ yourselves. وَقَٰتِلُوا۟ And fight ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists كَآفَّةً all together, كَمَا as يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمْ they fight you كَآفَّةً all together. وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah مَعَ (is) with ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous.
English - Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him]. .
हिंदी - इसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि खुदा ने जिस दिन आसमान व जमीन को पैदा किया (उसी दिन से) खुदा के नजदीक अल्लाह की किताब (लौहे महफूज) में महीनों की गिनती बारह महीने है उनमें से चार महीने (अदब व) हुरमत के हैं यही दीन सीधी राह है तो उन चार महीनों में तुम अपने ऊपर (कुश्त व खून (मार काट) करके) जुल्म न करो और मुशरेकीन जिस तरह तुम से सबके बस मिलकर लड़ते हैं तुम भी उसी तरह सबके सब मिलकर उन से लड़ों और ये जान लो कि अल्लाह तो यकीनन परहेजगारों के साथ है।.
Ayah 37
إِنَّمَا Indeed, ٱلنَّسِىٓءُ the postponing زِيَادَةٌ (is) an increase فِى in ٱلْكُفْرِ the disbelief, يُضَلُّ are led astray بِهِ by it ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve. يُحِلُّونَهُۥ They make it lawful عَامًا one year وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ and make it unlawful عَامًا (another) year, لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوا۟ to adjust عِدَّةَ the number مَا which حَرَّمَ Allah has made unlawful ٱللَّهُ Allah has made unlawful فَيُحِلُّوا۟ and making lawful مَا what حَرَّمَ Allah has made unlawful. ٱللَّهُ Allah has made unlawful. زُيِّنَ Is made fair-seeming لَهُمْ to them سُوٓءُ (the) evil أَعْمَٰلِهِمْ (of) their deeds. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the people - ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - Indeed, the postponing [of restriction within sacred months] is an increase in disbelief by which those who have disbelieved are led [further] astray. They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year to correspond to the number made unlawful by Allah and [thus] make lawful what Allah has made unlawful. Made pleasing to them is the evil of their deeds; and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. .
हिंदी - महीनों का आगे पीछे कर देना भी कुफ्र ही की ज्यादती है कि उनकी बदौलत कुफ्फार (और) बहक जाते हैं एक बरस तो उसी एक महीने को हलाल समझ लेते हैं और (दूसरे) साल उसी महीने को हराम कहते हैं ताकि अल्लाह ने जो (चार महीने) हराम किए हैं उनकी गिनती ही पूरी कर लें और खुदा की हराम की हुई चीज को हलाल कर लें उनकी बुरी (बुरी) कारस्तानियॉ उन्हें भली कर दिखाई गई हैं और खुदा काफिर लोगो को मंजिले मकसूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता।.
Ayah 38
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe! مَا What لَكُمْ (is the matter) with you إِذَا when قِيلَ it is said لَكُمُ to you ٱنفِرُوا۟ go forth فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ you cling heavily إِلَى to ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth? أَرَضِيتُم Are you pleased بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ with the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world مِنَ (rather) than ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter? فَمَا But what مَتَٰعُ (is the) enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world فِى in (comparison to) ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the hereafter إِلَّا except قَلِيلٌ a little.
English - O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारों तुम्हें क्या हो गया है कि जब तुमसे कहा जाता है कि अ की अल्लाह राह में (जिहाद के लिए) निकलो तो तुम लदधड़ (ढीले) हो कर जमीन की तरफ झुके पड़ते हो क्या तुम आखिरत के बनिस्बत दुनिया की (चन्द रोजा) जिन्दगी को पसन्द करते थे तो (समझ लो कि) दुनिया की जिन्दगी का साजो सामान (आखिर के) ऐश व आराम के मुकाबले में बहुत ही थोड़ा है।.
Ayah 39
إِلَّا If not تَنفِرُوا۟ you go forth, يُعَذِّبْكُمْ He will punish you عَذَابًا (with) a painful punishment, أَلِيمًا (with) a painful punishment, وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ and will replace you قَوْمًا (with) a people غَيْرَكُمْ other than you, وَلَا and not تَضُرُّوهُ you can harm Him شَيْـًٔا (in) anything. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - अगर (अब भी) तुम न निकलोगे तो अल्लाह तुम पर दर्दनाक अजाब नाजिल फरमाएगा और अल्लाह कुछ मजबरू तो है नहीं) तुम्हारे बदले किसी दूसरी कौम को ले आएगा और तुम उसका कुछ भी बिगाड़ नहीं सकते और अल्लाह हर चीज पर कादिर है।.
Ayah 40
إِلَّا If not تَنصُرُوهُ you help him, فَقَدْ certainly, نَصَرَهُ Allah helped him, ٱللَّهُ Allah helped him, إِذْ when أَخْرَجَهُ drove him out ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved, ثَانِىَ the second ٱثْنَيْنِ (of) the two, إِذْ when هُمَا they both فِى (were) in ٱلْغَارِ the cave, إِذْ when يَقُولُ he said لِصَٰحِبِهِۦ to his companion, لَا "(Do) not تَحْزَنْ grieve, إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah مَعَنَا (is) with us." فَأَنزَلَ Then Allah sent down ٱللَّهُ Then Allah sent down سَكِينَتَهُۥ His tranquility عَلَيْهِ upon him, وَأَيَّدَهُۥ and supported him بِجُنُودٍ with forces لَّمْ which you did not see, تَرَوْهَا which you did not see, وَجَعَلَ and made كَلِمَةَ (the) word ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ the lowest, وَكَلِمَةُ while (the) Word ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah هِىَ it (is) ٱلْعُلْيَا the highest. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - If you do not aid the Prophet – Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." And Allah sent down his tranquility upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah – that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. .
हिंदी - अगर तुम उस रसूल की मदद न करोगे तो (कुछ परवाह् नहीं अल्लाह मददगार है) उसने तो अपने रसूल की उस वक्त मदद की जब उसकी कुफ्फार (मक्का) ने (घर से) निकल बाहर किया उस वक्त सिर्फ (दो आदमी थे) दूसरे रसूल थे जब वह दोनो गार (सौर) में थे जब अपने साथी को (उसकी गिरिया व जारी (रोने) पर) समझा रहे थे कि घबराओ नहीं अल्लाह यकीनन हमारे साथ है तो अल्लाह ने उन पर अपनी (तरफ से) तसकीन नाजिल फरमाई और (फरिश्तों के) ऐसे लश्कर से उनकी मदद की जिनको तुम लोगों ने देखा तक नहीं और खुदा ने काफिरों की बात नीची कर दिखाई और अल्लाह ही का बोल बाला है और अल्लाह तो गालिब हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 41
ٱنفِرُوا۟ Go forth, خِفَافًا light وَثِقَالًا or heavy وَجَٰهِدُوا۟ and strive بِأَمْوَٰلِكُمْ with your wealth وَأَنفُسِكُمْ and your lives فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. ذَٰلِكُمْ That خَيْرٌ (is) better لَّكُمْ for you, إِن if كُنتُمْ you تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew. .
हिंदी - तुम हलके फुलके हो या भारी भरकम (मसलह) बहर हाल जब तुमको हुक्म दिया जाए फ़ौरन चल पड़ो और अपनी जानों से अपने मालों से अल्लाह की राह में जिहाद करो यही तुम्हारे हक में बेहतर है अगर तुम्हें इल्म हो।.
Ayah 42
لَوْ If كَانَ it had been عَرَضًا a gain قَرِيبًا near وَسَفَرًا and a journey قَاصِدًا easy, لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ surely they (would) have followed you وَلَٰكِنۢ but بَعُدَتْ was long عَلَيْهِمُ for them ٱلشُّقَّةُ the distance. وَسَيَحْلِفُونَ And they will swear بِٱللَّهِ by Allah, لَوِ "If ٱسْتَطَعْنَا we were able, لَخَرَجْنَا certainly we (would) have come forth مَعَكُمْ with you." يُهْلِكُونَ They destroy أَنفُسَهُمْ their own selves وَٱللَّهُ and Allah يَعْلَمُ knows إِنَّهُمْ (that) indeed, they لَكَٰذِبُونَ (are) surely liars.
English - Had it been an easy gain and a moderate trip, the hypocrites would have followed you, but distant to them was the journey. And they will swear by Allah, "If we were able, we would have gone forth with you," destroying themselves [through false oaths], and Allah knows that indeed they are liars. .
हिंदी - अगर सरे दस्त फायदा और सफर आसान होता तो यकीनन ये लोग तुम्हारा साथ देते मगर इन पर मसाफत (सफर) की मशककत (सख्ती) तूलानी हो गई और अगर पीछे रह जाने की वजह से पूछोगे तो ये लोग फौरन अल्लाह की कसमें खॉएगें कि अगर हम में सकत होती तो हम भी जरूर तुम लोगों के साथ ही चल खड़े होते ये लोग झूठी कसमें खाकर अपनी जान आप हलाक किए डालते हैं और खुदा तो जानता है कि ये लोग बेशक झूठे हैं।.
Ayah 43
عَفَا (May) Allah forgive ٱللَّهُ (May) Allah forgive عَنكَ you! لِمَ Why (did) أَذِنتَ you grant leave لَهُمْ to them حَتَّىٰ until يَتَبَيَّنَ (became) evident لَكَ to you ٱلَّذِينَ those who صَدَقُوا۟ were truthful, وَتَعْلَمَ and you knew ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ the liars?
English - May Allah pardon you, [O Muhammad]; why did you give them permission [to remain behind]? [You should not have] until it was evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह तुम से दरगुजर फरमाए तुमने उन्हें (पीछे रह जाने की) इजाजत ही क्यों दी ताकि (तुम) अगर ऐसा न करते तो) तुम पर सच बोलने वाले (अलग) जाहिर हो जाते और तुम झूटों को (अलग) मालूम कर लेते।.
Ayah 44
لَا (Would) not ask your permission يَسْتَـْٔذِنُكَ (Would) not ask your permission ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day ٱلْءَاخِرِ the Last أَن that يُجَٰهِدُوا۟ they strive بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower بِٱلْمُتَّقِينَ of the righteous.
English - Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day would not ask permission of you to be excused from striving with their wealth and their lives. And Allah is Knowing of those who fear Him. .
हिंदी - जो लोग अल्लाह और रोजे़ आखिरत पर ईमान रखते हैं वह तो अपने माल से और अपनी जानों से जिहाद (न) करने की इजाजत मॉगने के नहीं (बल्कि वह खुद जाएंगे) और अल्लाह परहेजगारों से खूब वाकिफ है।.
Ayah 45
إِنَّمَا Only يَسْتَـْٔذِنُكَ ask your leave ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day ٱلْءَاخِرِ the Last, وَٱرْتَابَتْ and (are in) doubts قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts, فَهُمْ so they فِى in رَيْبِهِمْ their doubts يَتَرَدَّدُونَ they waver.
English - Only those would ask permission of you who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts have doubted, and they, in their doubt, are hesitating. .
हिंदी - (पीछे रह जाने की) इजाजत तो बस वही लोग मॉगेंगे जो अल्लाह और रोजे आखि़रत पर ईमान नहीं रखते और उनके दिल (तरह तरह) के शक कर रहे है तो वह अपने शक में डावॉडोल हो रहे हैं।.
Ayah 46
وَلَوْ And if أَرَادُوا۟ they had wished ٱلْخُرُوجَ (to) go forth, لَأَعَدُّوا۟ surely they (would) have prepared لَهُۥ for it عُدَّةً (some) preparation. وَلَٰكِن But كَرِهَ Allah disliked ٱللَّهُ Allah disliked ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمْ their being sent, فَثَبَّطَهُمْ so He made them lag behind وَقِيلَ and it was said, ٱقْعُدُوا۟ "Sit مَعَ with ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ those who sit."
English - And if they had intended to go forth, they would have prepared for it [some] preparation. But Allah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, "Remain [behind] with those who remain." .
हिंदी - और अगर ये लोग (घर से) निकलने की ठान लेते तो (कुछ न कुछ सामान तो करते मगर (बात ये है) कि अल्लाह ने उनके साथ भेजने को नापसन्द किया तो उनको काहिल बना दिया और (गोया) उनसे कह दिया गया कि तुम बैठने वालों के साथ बैठे (मक्खी मारते) रहो।.
Ayah 47
لَوْ If خَرَجُوا۟ they (had) gone forth فِيكُم with you, مَّا not زَادُوكُمْ they (would) have increased you إِلَّا except خَبَالًا (in) confusion وَلَأَوْضَعُوا۟ and would have been active خِلَٰلَكُمْ in your midst يَبْغُونَكُمُ seeking (for) you ٱلْفِتْنَةَ dissension. وَفِيكُمْ And among you (are some) سَمَّٰعُونَ who would have listened لَهُمْ to them. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower, بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ of the wrongdoers.
English - Had they gone forth with you, they would not have increased you except in confusion, and they would have been active among you, seeking [to cause] you fitnah. And among you are avid listeners to them. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - अगर ये लोग तुममें (मिलकर) निकलते भी तो बस तुममे फसाद ही बरपा कर देते और तुम्हारे हक में फितना कराने की गरज से तुम्हारे दरमियान (इधर उधर) घोड़े दौड़ाते फिरते और तुममें से उनके जासूस भी हैं (जो तुम्हारी उनसे बातें बयान करते हैं) और अल्लाह शरीर लोगों से खू़ब वाकिफ़ है।.
Ayah 48
لَقَدِ Verily, ٱبْتَغَوُا۟ they had sought ٱلْفِتْنَةَ dissension مِن before قَبْلُ before وَقَلَّبُوا۟ and had upset لَكَ for you ٱلْأُمُورَ the matters حَتَّىٰ until جَآءَ came ٱلْحَقُّ the truth وَظَهَرَ and became manifest أَمْرُ (the) Order of Allah, ٱللَّهِ (the) Order of Allah, وَهُمْ while they كَٰرِهُونَ disliked (it).
English - They had already desired dissension before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the ordinance of Allah appeared, while they were averse. .
हिंदी - (ए रसूल) इसमें तो शक नहीं कि उन लोगों ने पहले ही फसाद डालना चाहा था और तुम्हारी बहुत सी बातें उलट पुलट के यहॉ तक कि हक आ पहुंचा और अल्लाह ही का हुक्म गालिब रहा और उनको नागवार ही रहा।.
Ayah 49
وَمِنْهُم And among them مَّن (is he) who يَقُولُ says, ٱئْذَن "Grant me leave لِّى "Grant me leave وَلَا and (do) not تَفْتِنِّىٓ put me to trial." أَلَا Surely, فِى in ٱلْفِتْنَةِ the trial سَقَطُوا۟ they have fallen. وَإِنَّ And indeed, جَهَنَّمَ Hell لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ (will) surely surround بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - And among them is he who says, "Permit me [to remain at home] and do not put me to trial." Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - उन लोगों में से बाज ऐसे भी हैं जो साफ कहते हैं कि मुझे तो (पीछे रह जाने की) इजाजत दीजिए और मुझ बला में न फॅसाइए (ऐ रसूल) आगाह हो कि ये लोग खुद बला में (औंधे मुँह) गिर पड़े और जहन्नुम तो काफिरों का यकीनन घेरे हुए ही हैं।.
Ayah 50
إِن If تُصِبْكَ befalls you حَسَنَةٌ good, تَسُؤْهُمْ it distresses them, وَإِن but if تُصِبْكَ befalls you مُصِيبَةٌ a calamity يَقُولُوا۟ they say, قَدْ "Verily, أَخَذْنَآ we took أَمْرَنَا our matter مِن before." قَبْلُ before." وَيَتَوَلَّوا۟ And they turn away وَّهُمْ while they فَرِحُونَ (are) rejoicing.
English - If good befalls you, it distresses them; but if disaster strikes you, they say, "We took our matter [in hand] before," and turn away while they are rejoicing. .
हिंदी - तुमको कोई फायदा पहुंचा तो उन को बुरा मालूम होता है और अगर तुम पर कोई मुसीबत आ पड़ती तो ये लोग कहते हैं कि (इस वजह से) हमने अपना काम पहले ही ठीक कर लिया था और (ये कह कर) खुश (तुम्हारे पास से उठकर) वापस लौटतें है।.
Ayah 51
قُل Say, لَّن "Never يُصِيبَنَآ will befall us إِلَّا except مَا what كَتَبَ Allah has decreed ٱللَّهُ Allah has decreed لَنَا for us, هُوَ He مَوْلَىٰنَا (is) our Protector." وَعَلَى And on ٱللَّهِ Allah فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ [so] let the believers put (their) trust. ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ [so] let the believers put (their) trust.
English - Say, "Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector." And upon Allah let the believers rely. .
हिंदी - तुम कह दो कि हम पर हरगिज कोई मुसीबत पड़ नही सकती मगर जो अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे लिए (हमारी तकदीर में) लिख दिया है वही हमारा मालिक है और ईमानदारों को चाहिए भी कि अल्लाह ही पर भरोसा रखें।.
Ayah 52
قُلْ Say, هَلْ "Do تَرَبَّصُونَ you await بِنَآ for us إِلَّآ except إِحْدَى one ٱلْحُسْنَيَيْنِ (of) the two best (things) وَنَحْنُ while we نَتَرَبَّصُ [we] await بِكُمْ for you أَن that يُصِيبَكُمُ Allah will afflict you ٱللَّهُ Allah will afflict you بِعَذَابٍ with a punishment مِّنْ from عِندِهِۦٓ [near] Him, أَوْ or بِأَيْدِينَا by our hands? فَتَرَبَّصُوٓا۟ So wait, إِنَّا indeed, we مَعَكُم with you مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ (are) waiting."
English - Say, "Do you await for us except one of the two best things while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or at our hands? So wait; indeed we, along with you, are waiting." .
हिंदी - तुम मुनाफिकों से कह दो कि तुम तो हमारे वास्ते (फतेह या शहादत) दो भलाइयों में से एक के ख्वाह मख्वाह मुन्तजिर ही हो और हम तुम्हारे वास्ते उसके मुन्तजिर हैं कि अल्लाह तुम पर (खास) अपने ही से कोई अजाब नाजिल करे या हमारे हाथों से फिर तुम भी इन्तेजार करो हम भी तुम्हारे साथ (साथ) इन्तेजार करते हैं।.
Ayah 53
قُلْ Say, أَنفِقُوا۟ "Spend طَوْعًا willingly أَوْ or كَرْهًا unwillingly; لَّن never يُتَقَبَّلَ will be accepted مِنكُمْ from you. إِنَّكُمْ Indeed, you كُنتُمْ [you] are قَوْمًا a people فَٰسِقِينَ defiantly disobedient."
English - Say, "Spend willingly or unwillingly; never will it be accepted from you. Indeed, you have been a defiantly disobedient people." .
हिंदी - तुम कह दो कि तुम लोग ख्वाह खुशी से खर्च करो या मजबूरी से तुम्हारी खैरात तो कभी कुबूल की नहीं जाएगी तुम यकीनन बदकार लोग हो।.
Ayah 54
وَمَا And not مَنَعَهُمْ prevents them أَن that تُقْبَلَ is accepted مِنْهُمْ from them نَفَقَٰتُهُمْ their contributions إِلَّآ except أَنَّهُمْ that they كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ and in His Messenger, وَلَا and not يَأْتُونَ they come ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ (to) the prayer إِلَّا except وَهُمْ while they كُسَالَىٰ (are) lazy, وَلَا and not يُنفِقُونَ they spend إِلَّا except وَهُمْ while they كَٰرِهُونَ (are) unwilling.
English - And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling. .
हिंदी - और उनकी खैरात के कुबूल किए जाने में और कोई वजह मायने नहीं मगर यही कि उन लोगों ने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की नाफरमानी की और नमाज को आते भी हैं तो अलकसाए हुए और अल्लाह की राह में खर्च करते भी हैं तो बे दिली से।.
Ayah 55
فَلَا So (let) not تُعْجِبْكَ impress you أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ their wealth وَلَآ and not أَوْلَٰدُهُمْ their children. إِنَّمَا Only يُرِيدُ Allah intends ٱللَّهُ Allah intends لِيُعَذِّبَهُم to punish them بِهَا with it فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَتَزْهَقَ and should depart أَنفُسُهُمْ their souls وَهُمْ while they كَٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers.
English - So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers. .
हिंदी - तुम को न तो उनके माल हैरत में डाले और न उनकी औलाद (क्योंकि) अल्लाह तो ये चाहता है कि उनको आल व माल की वजह से दुनिया की (चन्द रोज) जिन्दगी (ही) में मुबितलाए अजाब करे और जब उनकी जानें निकलें तब भी वह काफिर (के काफिर ही) रहें।.
Ayah 56
وَيَحْلِفُونَ And they swear بِٱللَّهِ by Allah إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they لَمِنكُمْ surely (are) of you, وَمَا while not هُم they مِّنكُمْ (are) of you, وَلَٰكِنَّهُمْ but they قَوْمٌ (are) a people يَفْرَقُونَ (who) are afraid.
English - And they swear by Allah that they are from among you while they are not from among you; but they are a people who are afraid. .
हिंदी - और ये लोग खुदा की कसम खाएंगे फिर वह तुममें ही के हैं हालॉकि वह लोग तुममें के नहीं हैं मगर हैं ये लोग बुजदिल हैं।.
Ayah 57
لَوْ If يَجِدُونَ they could find مَلْجَـًٔا a refuge أَوْ or مَغَٰرَٰتٍ caves أَوْ or مُدَّخَلًا a place to enter, لَّوَلَّوْا۟ surely, they would turn إِلَيْهِ to it, وَهُمْ and they يَجْمَحُونَ run wild.
English - If they could find a refuge or some caves or any place to enter [and hide], they would turn to it while they run heedlessly. .
हिंदी - कि गर कहीं ये लोग पनाह की जगह (किले) या (छिपने के लिए) गार या घुस बैठने की कोई (और) जगह पा जाए तो उसी तरफ रस्सियाँ तोड़ाते हुए भाग जाएँ।.
Ayah 58
وَمِنْهُم And among them مَّن (is he) who يَلْمِزُكَ criticizes you فِى concerning ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ the charities. فَإِنْ Then if أُعْطُوا۟ they are given مِنْهَا from it, رَضُوا۟ they are pleased; وَإِن but if لَّمْ not يُعْطَوْا۟ they are given مِنْهَآ from it, إِذَا then هُمْ they يَسْخَطُونَ (are) enraged.
English - And among them are some who criticize you concerning the [distribution of] charities. If they are given from them, they approve; but if they are not given from them, at once they become angry. .
हिंदी - और उनमें से कुछ तो ऐसे भी हैं जो तुम्हें खैरात (की तकसीम) में (ख्वाह मा ख्वाह) इल्जाम देते हैं फिर अगर उनमे से कुछ (माकूल मिकदार(हिस्सा)) दे दिया गया तो खुश हो गए और अगर उनकी मर्जी के मुवाफिक उसमें से उन्हें कुछ नहीं दिया गया तो बस फौरन ही बिगड़ बैठे।.
Ayah 59
وَلَوْ And if أَنَّهُمْ [that] they رَضُوا۟ (were) satisfied مَآ (with) what ءَاتَىٰهُمُ Allah gave them ٱللَّهُ Allah gave them وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger, وَقَالُوا۟ and said, حَسْبُنَا "Sufficient for us ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah, سَيُؤْتِينَا Allah will give us ٱللَّهُ Allah will give us مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ and His Messenger. إِنَّآ Indeed, we إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah رَٰغِبُونَ turn our hopes."
English - If only they had been satisfied with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, "Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messenger; indeed, we are desirous toward Allah," [it would have been better for them]. .
हिंदी - और जो कुछ खुदा ने और उसके रसूल ने उनको अता फरमाया था अगर ये लोग उस पर राजी रहते और कहते कि अल्लाह हमारे वास्ते काफी है (उस वक्त नहीं तो) अनकरीब ही खुदा हमें अपने फजल व करम से उसका रसूल दे ही देगा हम तो यकीनन अल्लाह ही की तरफ लौ लगाए बैठे हैं।.
Ayah 60
إِنَّمَا Only ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ the charities لِلْفُقَرَآءِ (are) for the poor, وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ and the needy وَٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ and those who collect عَلَيْهَا them, وَٱلْمُؤَلَّفَةِ and the ones inclined قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts, وَفِى and in ٱلرِّقَابِ the (freeing of) the necks, وَٱلْغَٰرِمِينَ and for those in debt وَفِى and in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَٱبْنِ and the wayfarer - ٱلسَّبِيلِ and the wayfarer - فَرِيضَةً an obligation مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knowing, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler – an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - (तो उनका क्या कहना था) खैरात तो बस खास फकीरों का हक है और मोहताजों का और उस (जकात वगैरह) के कारिन्दों का और जिनकी तालीफ कलब की गई है (उनका) और (जिन की) गर्दनों में (गुलामी का फन्दा पड़ा है उनका) और गद्दारों का (जो खुदा से अदा नहीं कर सकते) और खुदा की राह (जिहाद) में और परदेसियों की किफालत में खर्च करना चाहिए ये हुकूक अल्लाह की तरफ से मुकर्रर किए हुए हैं और अल्लाह बड़ा वाकिफ कार हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 61
وَمِنْهُمُ And among them ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who يُؤْذُونَ hurt ٱلنَّبِىَّ the Prophet وَيَقُولُونَ and they say, هُوَ "He is أُذُنٌ (all) ear." قُلْ Say, أُذُنُ "An ear خَيْرٍ (of) goodness لَّكُمْ for you, يُؤْمِنُ he believes بِٱللَّهِ in Allah, وَيُؤْمِنُ and believes لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers, وَرَحْمَةٌ and (is) a mercy لِّلَّذِينَ to those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe مِنكُمْ among you." وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يُؤْذُونَ hurt رَسُولَ (the) Messenger ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - And among them are those who abuse the Prophet and say, "He is an ear." Say, "[It is] an ear of goodness for you that believes in Allah and believes the believers and [is] a mercy to those who believe among you." And those who abuse the Messenger of Allah – for them is a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - और उसमें से बाज ऐसे भी हैं जो (हमारे) रसूल को सताते हैं और कहते हैं कि बस ये कान ही (कान) हैं (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि (कान तो हैं मगर) तुम्हारी भलाई सुन्ने के कान हैं कि अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हैं और मोमिनीन की (बातों) का यकीन रखते हैं और तुममें से जो लोग ईमान ला चुके हैं उनके लिए रहमत और जो लोग रसूले अल्लाह को सताते हैं उनके लिए दर्दनाक अजाब हैं।.
Ayah 62
يَحْلِفُونَ They swear بِٱللَّهِ by Allah لَكُمْ to you لِيُرْضُوكُمْ to please you. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ and His Messenger أَحَقُّ (have) more right أَن that يُرْضُوهُ they should please Him, إِن if كَانُوا۟ they are مُؤْمِنِينَ believers.
English - They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers. .
हिंदी - ये लोग तुम्हारे सामने अल्लाह की कसमें खाते हैं ताकि तुम्हें राजी कर ले हालॉकि अगर ये लोग सच्चे ईमानदार है।.
Ayah 63
أَلَمْ Do not يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know أَنَّهُۥ that he مَن who يُحَادِدِ opposes ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger, فَأَنَّ [then] that, لَهُۥ for him نَارَ (is the) Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell, خَٰلِدًا (will) abide forever فِيهَا in it? ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلْخِزْىُ (is) the disgrace ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great.
English - Do they not know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger – that for him is the fire of Hell, wherein he will abide eternally? That is the great disgrace. .
हिंदी - तो अल्लाह और उसका रसूल कहीं ज्यादा हकदार है कि उसको राजी रखें क्या ये लोग ये भी नहीं जानते कि जिस ने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की मुखालेफत की तो इसमें शक ही नहीं कि उसके लिए जहन्नुम की आग (तैयार रखी) है।.
Ayah 64
يَحْذَرُ Fear ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ the hypocrites أَن lest تُنَزَّلَ be revealed عَلَيْهِمْ about them سُورَةٌ a Surah, تُنَبِّئُهُم informing them بِمَا of what فِى (is) in قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts. قُلِ Say, ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟ "Mock, إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah مُخْرِجٌ (will) bring forth مَّا what تَحْذَرُونَ you fear."
English - They hypocrites are apprehensive lest a sūrah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, "Mock [as you wish]; indeed, Allah will expose that which you fear." .
हिंदी - जिसमें वह हमेशा (जलता भुनता) रहेगा यही तो बड़ी रूसवाई है मुनाफेकीन इस बात से डरतें हैं कि (कहीं ऐसा न हो) इन मुलसमानों पर (रसूल की माअरफत) कोई सूरा नाजिल हो जाए जो उनको जो कुछ उन मुनाफिकीन के दिल में है बता दे (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि (अच्छा) तुम मसखरापन किए जाओ।.
Ayah 65
وَلَئِن And if سَأَلْتَهُمْ you ask them, لَيَقُولُنَّ surely they will say, إِنَّمَا "Only كُنَّا we were نَخُوضُ conversing وَنَلْعَبُ and playing." قُلْ Say, أَبِٱللَّهِ "Is it Allah وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ and His Verses وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger كُنتُمْ (that) you were تَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mocking?"
English - And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?" .
हिंदी - जिससे तुम डरते हो अल्लाह उसे जरूर जाहिर कर देगा और अगर तुम उनसे पूछो (कि ये हरकत थी) तो जरूर यूं ही कहेगें कि हम तो यूं ही बातचीत (दिल्लगी) बाजी ही कर रहे थे तुम कहो कि हाए क्या तुम अल्लाह से और उसकी आयतों से और उसके रसूल से हॅसी कर रहे थे।.
Ayah 66
لَا (Do) not تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ make excuse; قَدْ verily, كَفَرْتُم you have disbelieved بَعْدَ after إِيمَٰنِكُمْ your belief. إِن If نَّعْفُ We pardon عَن [on] طَآئِفَةٍ a party مِّنكُمْ of you نُعَذِّبْ We will punish طَآئِفَةًۢ a party, بِأَنَّهُمْ because they كَانُوا۟ were مُجْرِمِينَ criminals.
English - Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you – We will punish another faction because they were criminals. .
हिंदी - अब बातें न बनाओं हक तो ये हैं कि तुम ईमान लाने के बाद काफिर हो बैठे अगर हम तुममें से कुछ लोगों से दरगुजर भी करें तो हम कुछ लोगों को सजा जरूर देगें इस वजह से कि ये लोग कुसूरवार जरूर हैं।.
Ayah 67
ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ The hypocrite men وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ and the hypocrite women, بَعْضُهُم some of them مِّنۢ (are) of بَعْضٍ others. يَأْمُرُونَ They enjoin بِٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong وَيَنْهَوْنَ and forbid عَنِ what ٱلْمَعْرُوفِ (is) the right, وَيَقْبِضُونَ and they close أَيْدِيَهُمْ their hands. نَسُوا۟ They forget ٱللَّهَ Allah, فَنَسِيَهُمْ so He has forgotten them. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ the hypocrites, هُمُ they (are) ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ the defiantly disobedient.
English - The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them [accordingly]. Indeed, the hypocrites – it is they who are the defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - मुनाफिक मर्द और मुनाफिक औरतें एक दूसरे के बाहम जिन्स हैं कि (लोगों को) बुरे काम का तो हुक्म करते हैं और नेक कामों से रोकते हैं और अपने हाथ (राहे खुदा में खर्च करने से) बन्द रखते हैं (सच तो यह है कि) ये लोग अल्लाह को भूल बैठे तो अल्लाह ने भी (गोया) उन्हें भुला दिया बेशक मुनाफिक बदचलन है।.
Ayah 68
وَعَدَ Allah has promised ٱللَّهُ Allah has promised ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ the hypocrite men, وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ and the hypocrite women وَٱلْكُفَّارَ and the disbelievers, نَارَ Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell, خَٰلِدِينَ they (will) abide forever فِيهَا in it. هِىَ It (is) حَسْبُهُمْ sufficient for them. وَلَعَنَهُمُ And Allah has cursed them, ٱللَّهُ And Allah has cursed them, وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment مُّقِيمٌ enduring.
English - Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the disbelievers the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally. It is sufficient for them. And Allah has cursed them, and for them is an enduring punishment. .
हिंदी - मुनाफिक मर्द और मुनाफिक औरतें और काफिरों से अल्लाह ने जहन्नुम की आग का वायदा तो कर लिया है कि ये लोग हमेशा उसी में रहेगें और यही उन के लिए काफी है और अल्लाह ने उन पर लानत की है और उन्हीं के लिए दाइमी (हमेशा रहने वाला) अजाब है।.
Ayah 69
كَٱلَّذِينَ Like those مِن before you قَبْلِكُمْ before you كَانُوٓا۟ they were أَشَدَّ mightier مِنكُمْ than you قُوَّةً (in) strength, وَأَكْثَرَ and more abundant أَمْوَٰلًا (in) wealth وَأَوْلَٰدًا and children. فَٱسْتَمْتَعُوا۟ So they enjoyed بِخَلَٰقِهِمْ their portion, فَٱسْتَمْتَعْتُم and you have enjoyed بِخَلَٰقِكُمْ your portion كَمَا like ٱسْتَمْتَعَ enjoyed ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن before you قَبْلِكُم before you بِخَلَٰقِهِمْ their portion, وَخُضْتُمْ and you indulge كَٱلَّذِى like the one who خَاضُوٓا۟ indulges (in idle talk). أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those, حَبِطَتْ worthless, أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ (are) their deeds فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ and (in) the Hereafter. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those, هُمُ they ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ (are) the losers.
English - [You disbelievers are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their portion [of worldly enjoyment], and you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion, and you have engaged [in vanities] like that in which they engaged. [It is] those whose deeds have become worthless in this world and in the Hereafter, and it is they who are the losers. .
हिंदी - (मुनाफिको तुम्हारी तो) उनकी मसल है जो तुमसे पहले थे वह लोग तुमसे कूवत में (भी) ज्यादा थे और औलाद में (भी) कही बढ़ कर तो वह अपने हिस्से से भी फायदा उठा हो चुके तो जिस तरह तुम से पहले लोग अपने हिस्से से फायदा उठा चुके हैं इसी तरह तुम ने अपने हिस्से से फायदा उठा लिया और जिस तरह वह बातिल में घुसे रहे उसी तरह तुम भी घुसे रहे ये वह लोग हैं जिन का सब किया धरा दुनिया और आखिरत (दोनों) में अकारत हुआ और यही लोग घाटे में हैं।.
Ayah 70
أَلَمْ Has not يَأْتِهِمْ come to them نَبَأُ (the) news ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who مِن (were) before them, قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them, قَوْمِ (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh, وَعَادٍ and Aad, وَثَمُودَ and Thamud, وَقَوْمِ and (the) people إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim وَأَصْحَٰبِ and (the) companions مَدْيَنَ (of) Madyan, وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَٰتِ and the towns overturned? أَتَتْهُمْ Came to them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs. فَمَا And not كَانَ was ٱللَّهُ Allah لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ to wrong them وَلَٰكِن but كَانُوٓا۟ they were (to) أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves يَظْلِمُونَ doing wrong.
English - Has there not reached them the news of those before them – the people of Noah and [the tribes of] ‘Aad and Thamūd and the people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves. .
हिंदी - क्या इन मुनाफिकों को उन लोगों की खबर नहीं पहुँची है जो उनसे पहले हो गुजरे हैं नूह की कौम और आद और समूद और इबराहीम की कौम और मदियन वाले और उलटी हुई बस्तियों के रहने वाले कि उनके पास उनके रसूल वाजेए (और रौशन) मौजिजे लेकर आए तो वह मुब्तिलाए अजाब हुए और खुदा ने उन पर जुल्म नहीं किया मगर ये लोग खुद अपने ऊपर जुल्म करते थे।.
Ayah 71
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ And the believing men وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ and the believing women, بَعْضُهُمْ some of them أَوْلِيَآءُ (are) allies بَعْضٍ (of) others. يَأْمُرُونَ They enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right, وَيَنْهَوْنَ and forbid عَنِ from ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong, وَيُقِيمُونَ and they establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَيُؤْتُونَ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah, وَيُطِيعُونَ and they obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ and His Messenger. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those, سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ Allah will have mercy on them. ٱللَّهُ Allah will have mercy on them. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those – Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. .
हिंदी - और ईमानदार मर्द और ईमानदार औरते उनमें से बाज के बाज रफीक है और नामज पाबन्दी से पढ़ते हैं और जकात देते हैं और अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की फरमाबरदारी करते हैं यही लोग हैं जिन पर अल्लाह अनकरीब रहम करेगा बेशक अल्लाह गालिब हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 72
وَعَدَ (Has been) promised ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (to) the believing men وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ and the believing women جَنَّٰتٍ Gardens, تَجْرِى flow مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers خَٰلِدِينَ (will) abide forever فِيهَا in it وَمَسَٰكِنَ and dwellings طَيِّبَةً blessed فِى in جَنَّٰتِ Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) everlasting bliss. وَرِضْوَٰنٌ But the pleasure مِّنَ of ٱللَّهِ Allah أَكْبَرُ (is) greater. ذَٰلِكَ That, هُوَ it ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ great.
English - Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने ईमानदार मर्दों और ईमानदारा औरतों से (बेहश्त के) उन बागों का वायदा कर लिया है जिनके नीचे नहरें जारी हैं और वह उनमें हमेशा रहेगें (बेहश्त) अदन के बागो में उम्दा उम्दा मकानात का (भी वायदा फरमाया) और अल्लाह की खु़शनूदी उन सबसे बालातर है- यही तो बड़ी (आला दर्जे की) कामयाबी है।.
Ayah 73
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O Prophet! ٱلنَّبِىُّ O Prophet! جَٰهِدِ Strive (against) ٱلْكُفَّارَ the disbelievers وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ and the hypocrites وَٱغْلُظْ and be stern عَلَيْهِمْ with them. وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ And their abode جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell, وَبِئْسَ and wretched ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination.
English - O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination. .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल कुफ्फार के साथ (तलवार से) और मुनाफिकों के साथ (जबान से) जिहाद करो और उन पर सख्ती करो और उनका ठिकाना तो जहन्नुम ही है और वह (क्या) बुरी जगह है।.
Ayah 74
يَحْلِفُونَ They swear بِٱللَّهِ by Allah مَا (that) they said nothing, قَالُوا۟ (that) they said nothing, وَلَقَدْ while certainly قَالُوا۟ they said كَلِمَةَ (the) word ٱلْكُفْرِ (of) the disbelief وَكَفَرُوا۟ and disbelieved بَعْدَ after إِسْلَٰمِهِمْ their (pretense of) Islam, وَهَمُّوا۟ and planned بِمَا [of] what لَمْ not يَنَالُوا۟ they could attain. وَمَا And not نَقَمُوٓا۟ they were resentful إِلَّآ except أَنْ that أَغْنَىٰهُمُ Allah had enriched them ٱللَّهُ Allah had enriched them وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty. فَإِن So if يَتُوبُوا۟ they repent, يَكُ it is خَيْرًا better لَّهُمْ for them, وَإِن and if يَتَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away, يُعَذِّبْهُمُ Allah will punish them ٱللَّهُ Allah will punish them عَذَابًا (with) a punishment أَلِيمًا painful, فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ and (in) the Hereafter. وَمَا And not لَهُمْ for them فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ a helper.
English - They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper. .
हिंदी - ये मुनाफेकीन अल्लाह की कसमें खाते है कि (कोई बुरी बात) नहीं कही हालॉकि उन लोगों ने कुफ्र का कलमा जरूर कहा और अपने इस्लाम के बाद काफिर हो गए और जिस बात पर काबू न पा सके उसे ठान बैठे और उन लोगें ने (मुसलमानों से) सिर्फ इस वजह से अदावत की कि अपने फजल व करम से अल्लाह और उसके रसूल ने दौलत मन्द बना दिया है तो उनके लिए उसमें खैर है कि ये लोग अब भी तौबा कर लें और अगर ये न मानेगें तो खुदा उन पर दुनिया और आखिरत में दर्दनाक अजाब नाजिल फरमाएगा और तमाम दुनिया में उन का न कोई हामी होगा और न मददगार।.
Ayah 75
وَمِنْهُم And among them مَّنْ (is he) who عَٰهَدَ made a covenant ٱللَّهَ (with) Allah, لَئِنْ "If ءَاتَىٰنَا He gives us مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His bounty, لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ surely we will give charity وَلَنَكُونَنَّ and surely we will be مِنَ among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous."
English - And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah, [saying], "If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous." .
हिंदी - और इन (मुनाफेकीन) में से बाज ऐसे भी हैं जो अल्लाह से कौल करार कर चुके थे कि अगर हमें अपने फजल (व करम) से (कुछ माल) देगा तो हम जरूर खैरात किया करेगें और नेकोकार बन्दे हो जाएंगे।.
Ayah 76
فَلَمَّآ But when ءَاتَىٰهُم He gave them مِّن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty, بَخِلُوا۟ they became stingy بِهِۦ with it وَتَوَلَّوا۟ and turned away وَّهُم while they مُّعْرِضُونَ (were) averse.
English - But when he gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused. .
हिंदी - तो जब खुदा ने अपने फजल (व करम) से उन्हें अता फरमाया-तो लगे उसमें बुख्ल करने और कतराकर मुंह फेरने।.
Ayah 77
فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ So He penalized them نِفَاقًا (with) hypocrisy فِى in قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts إِلَىٰ until يَوْمِ the day يَلْقَوْنَهُۥ when they will meet Him, بِمَآ because أَخْلَفُوا۟ they broke ٱللَّهَ (the covenant with) Allah مَا what وَعَدُوهُ they had promised Him, وَبِمَا and because كَانُوا۟ they used to يَكْذِبُونَ lie.
English - So He penalized them with hypocrisy in their hearts until the Day they will meet Him – because they failed Allah in what they promised Him and because they [habitually] used to lie. .
हिंदी - फिर उनसे उनके खामयाजे (बदले) में अपनी मुलाकात के दिन (कयामत) तक उनके दिल में (गोया खुद) निफाक डाल दिया इस वजह से उन लोगों ने जो अल्लाह से वायदा किया था उसके खिलाफ किया और इस वजह से कि झूठ बोला करते थे।.
Ayah 78
أَلَمْ Do not يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَعْلَمُ knows سِرَّهُمْ their secret وَنَجْوَىٰهُمْ and their secret conversation, وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَّٰمُ (is) All-Knower ٱلْغُيُوبِ (of) the unseen?
English - Did they not know that Allah knows their secrets and their private conversations and that Allah is the Knower of the unseen? .
हिंदी - क्या वह लोग इतना भी न जानते थे कि खुदा (उनके) सारे भेद और उनकी सरगोशी (सब कुछ) जानता है और ये कि गैब की बातों से खूब आगाह है।.
Ayah 79
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَلْمِزُونَ criticize ٱلْمُطَّوِّعِينَ the ones who give willingly مِنَ of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers فِى concerning ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ the charities, وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who لَا not يَجِدُونَ find إِلَّا except جُهْدَهُمْ their effort, فَيَسْخَرُونَ so they ridicule مِنْهُمْ them, سَخِرَ Allah will ridicule ٱللَّهُ Allah will ridicule مِنْهُمْ them, وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them – Allah will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - जो लोग दिल खोलकर खैरात करने वाले मोमिनीन पर (रियाकारी का) और उन मोमिनीन पर जो सिर्फ अपनी (मेहनत) की मजदूरी पाते (शेखी का) इल्जाम लगाते हैं फिर उनसे मसखरापन करते तो अल्लाह भी उन से मसखरापन करेगा और उनके लिए दर्दनाक अजाब है।.
Ayah 80
ٱسْتَغْفِرْ Ask forgiveness لَهُمْ for them أَوْ or لَا (do) not تَسْتَغْفِرْ ask forgiveness لَهُمْ for them. إِن If تَسْتَغْفِرْ you ask forgiveness لَهُمْ for them سَبْعِينَ seventy مَرَّةً times, فَلَن never يَغْفِرَ will Allah forgive ٱللَّهُ will Allah forgive لَهُمْ [for] them. ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the people, ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ the defiantly disobedient.
English - Ask forgiveness for them, [O Muhammad], or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times – never will Allah forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) ख्वाह तुम उन (मुनाफिकों) के लिए मगफिरत की दुआ मॉगों या उनके लिए मगफिरत की दुआ न मॉगों (उनके लिए बराबर है) तुम उनके लिए सत्तर बार भी बख्शिस की दुआ मांगोगे तो भी खुदा उनको हरगिज न बख्शेगा ये (सजा) इस सबब से है कि उन लोगों ने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ कुफ्र किया और अल्लाह बदकार लोगों को मंजिलें मकसूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता।.
Ayah 81
فَرِحَ Rejoice ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ those who remained behind بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ in their staying خِلَٰفَ behind رَسُولِ (the) Messenger ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَكَرِهُوٓا۟ and they disliked أَن to يُجَٰهِدُوا۟ strive بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَقَالُوا۟ and they said, لَا "(Do) not تَنفِرُوا۟ go forth فِى in ٱلْحَرِّ the heat." قُلْ Say, نَارُ "(The) Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell أَشَدُّ (is) more intense حَرًّا (in) heat." لَّوْ If (only) كَانُوا۟ they could يَفْقَهُونَ understand.
English - Those who remained behind rejoiced in their staying [at home] after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah and disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah and said, ''Do not go forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is more intensive in heat" – if they would but understand. .
हिंदी - (जंगे तबूक में) रसूले अल्लाह के पीछे रह जाने वाले अपनी जगह बैठ रहने (और जिहाद में न जाने) से खुश हुए और अपने माल और आपनी जानों से खुदा की राह में जिहाद करना उनको मकरू मालूम हुआ और कहने लगे (इस) गर्मी में (घर से) न निकलो (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि जहन्नुम की आग (जिसमें तुम चलोगे उससे कहीं ज्यादा गर्म है।.
Ayah 82
فَلْيَضْحَكُوا۟ So let them laugh قَلِيلًا a little, وَلْيَبْكُوا۟ and let them weep كَثِيرًا much جَزَآءًۢ (as) a recompense بِمَا for what كَانُوا۟ they used to يَكْسِبُونَ earn.
English - So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn. .
हिंदी - अगर वह कुछ समझें जो कुछ वह किया करते थे उसके बदले उन्हें चाहिए कि वह बहुत कम हॅसें और बहुत रोएँ।.
Ayah 83
فَإِن Then if رَّجَعَكَ Allah returns you ٱللَّهُ Allah returns you إِلَىٰ to طَآئِفَةٍ a group مِّنْهُمْ of them, فَٱسْتَـْٔذَنُوكَ and they ask you permission لِلْخُرُوجِ to go out, فَقُل then say, لَّن "Never تَخْرُجُوا۟ will you come out مَعِىَ with me أَبَدًا ever وَلَن and never تُقَٰتِلُوا۟ will you fight مَعِىَ with me عَدُوًّا any enemy. إِنَّكُمْ Indeed, you رَضِيتُم were satisfied بِٱلْقُعُودِ with sitting أَوَّلَ (the) first مَرَّةٍ time, فَٱقْعُدُوا۟ so sit مَعَ with ٱلْخَٰلِفِينَ those who stay behind."
English - If Allah should return you to a faction of them [after the expedition] and then they ask your permission to go out [to battle], say, "You will not go out with me, ever, and you will never fight with me an enemy. Indeed, you were satisfied with sitting [at home] the first time, so sit [now] with those who stay behind." .
हिंदी - तो (ऐ रसूल) अगर खुदा तुम इन मुनाफेकीन के किसी गिरोह की तरफ (जिहाद से सहीसालिम) वापस लाए फिर तुमसे (जिहाद के वास्ते) निकलने की इजाजत माँगें तो तुम साफ कह दो कि तुम मेरे साथ (जिहाद के वास्ते) हरगिज न निकलने पाओगे और न हरगिज दुश्मन से मेरे साथ लड़ने पाओगे जब तुमने पहली मरतबा (घर में) बैठे रहना पसन्द किया तो (अब भी) पीछे रह जाने वालों के साथ (घर में) बैठे रहो।.
Ayah 84
وَلَا And not تُصَلِّ you pray عَلَىٰٓ for أَحَدٍ any مِّنْهُم of them مَّاتَ who dies, أَبَدًا ever, وَلَا and not تَقُمْ you stand عَلَىٰ by قَبْرِهِۦٓ his grave. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger, وَمَاتُوا۟ and died وَهُمْ while they were فَٰسِقُونَ defiantly disobedient.
English - And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammad], over any of them who has died – ever – or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - और (ऐ रसूल) उन मुनाफिकीन में से जो मर जाए तो कभी ना किसी पर नमाजे जनाजा पढ़ना और न उसकी कब्र पर (जाकर) खडे होना इन लोगों ने यकीनन अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ कुफ्र किया और बदकारी की हालत में मर (भी) गए।.
Ayah 85
وَلَا And (let) not تُعْجِبْكَ impress you أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ their wealth وَأَوْلَٰدُهُمْ and their children. إِنَّمَا Only يُرِيدُ Allah intends ٱللَّهُ Allah intends أَن to يُعَذِّبَهُم punish them بِهَا with it فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world, وَتَزْهَقَ and will depart أَنفُسُهُمْ their souls وَهُمْ while they كَٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers.
English - And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers. .
हिंदी - और उनके माल और उनकी औलाद (की कसरत) तुम्हें ताज्जुब (हैरत) में न डाले (क्योकि) खुदा तो बस ये चाहता है कि दुनिया में भी उनके माल और औलाद की बदौलत उनको अजाब में मुब्तिला करे और उनकी जान निकालने लगे तो उस वक्त भी ये काफिर (के काफिर ही) रहें।.
Ayah 86
وَإِذَآ And when أُنزِلَتْ was revealed سُورَةٌ a Surah أَنْ that; ءَامِنُوا۟ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَجَٰهِدُوا۟ and strive مَعَ with رَسُولِهِ His Messenger, ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَكَ ask your permission أُو۟لُوا۟ (the) men ٱلطَّوْلِ (of) wealth مِنْهُمْ among them وَقَالُوا۟ and said, ذَرْنَا "Leave us, نَكُن (to) be مَّعَ with ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ those who sit."
English - And when a sūrah was revealed [enjoining them] to believe in Allah and to fight with His Messenger, those of wealth among them asked your permission [to stay back] and said, "Leave us to be with them who sit [at home]." .
हिंदी - और जब कोई सूरा इस बारे में नाजिल हुआ कि अल्लाह को मानों और उसके रसूल के साथ जिहाद करो तो जो उनमें से दौलत वाले हैं वह तुमसे इजाजत मांगते हैं और कहते हैं कि हमें (यहीं छोड़ दीजिए) कि हम भी (घर बैठने वालो के साथ (बैठे) रहें।.
Ayah 87
رَضُوا۟ They (were) satisfied بِأَن to يَكُونُوا۟ be مَعَ with ٱلْخَوَالِفِ those who stay behind, وَطُبِعَ and were sealed عَلَىٰ [on] قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts, فَهُمْ so they لَا (do) not يَفْقَهُونَ understand.
English - They were satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and their hearts were sealed over, so they do not understand. .
हिंदी - ये इस बात से खुश हैं कि पीछे रह जाने वालों (औरतों, बच्चों, बीमारो के साथ बैठे) रहें और (गोया) उनके दिल पर मोहर कर दी गई तो ये कुछ नहीं समझतें।.
Ayah 88
لَٰكِنِ But ٱلرَّسُولُ the Messenger وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed مَعَهُۥ with him جَٰهَدُوا۟ strove بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those, لَهُمُ for them ٱلْخَيْرَٰتُ (are) the good things, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those - هُمُ they ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ (are) the successful ones.
English - But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good, and it is those who are the successful. .
हिंदी - मगर रसूल और जो लोग उनके साथ ईमान लाए हैं उन लोगों ने अपने अपने माल और अपनी अपनी जानों से जिहाद किया- यही वह लोग हैं जिनके लिए (हर तरह की) भलाइयाँ हैं और यही लोग कामयाब होने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 89
أَعَدَّ Allah has prepared ٱللَّهُ Allah has prepared لَهُمْ for them جَنَّٰتٍ Gardens تَجْرِى flows مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, خَٰلِدِينَ (will) abide forever فِيهَا in it. ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great.
English - Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. That is the great attainment. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने उनके वास्ते (बेहश्त) के वह (हरे भरे) बाग तैयार कर रखे हैं जिनके (दरख्तों के) नीचे नहरे जारी हैं (और ये) इसमें हमेशा रहेंगें यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी हैं।.
Ayah 90
وَجَآءَ And came ٱلْمُعَذِّرُونَ the ones who make excuses مِنَ of ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins, لِيُؤْذَنَ that permission be granted لَهُمْ to them, وَقَعَدَ and sat, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَذَبُوا۟ lied ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger. سَيُصِيبُ Will strike ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved مِنْهُمْ among them عَذَابٌ a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - And those with excuses among the Bedouins came to be permitted [to remain], and they who had lied to Allah and His Messenger sat [at home]. There will strike those who disbelieved among them a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - और (तुम्हारे पास) कुछ हीला करने वाले गवार देहाती (भी) आ मौजदू हुए ताकि उनको भी (पीछे रह जाने की) इजाजत दी जाए और जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल से झूठ कहा था वह (घर में) बैठ रहे (आए तक नहीं) उनमें से जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र एख्तेयार किया अनकरीब ही उन पर दर्दनाक अजाब आ पहुँचेगा।.
Ayah 91
لَّيْسَ Not عَلَى on ٱلضُّعَفَآءِ the weak وَلَا and not عَلَى on ٱلْمَرْضَىٰ the sick وَلَا and not عَلَى on ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا not يَجِدُونَ they find مَا what يُنفِقُونَ they (can) spend حَرَجٌ any blame إِذَا if نَصَحُوا۟ they (are) sincere لِلَّهِ to Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger. مَا Not عَلَى (is) on ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers مِن any سَبِيلٍ way (for blame). وَٱللَّهُ And Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - There is not upon the weak or upon the ill or upon those who do not find anything to spend any discomfort when they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is not upon the doers of good any cause [for blame]. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल जिहाद में न जाने का) न तो कमजोरों पर कुछ गुनाह है न बीमारों पर और न उन लोगों पर जो कुछ नहीं पाते कि खर्च करें बशर्ते कि ये लोग अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की खैर ख्वाही करें नेकी करने वालों पर (इल्जाम की) कोई सबील नहीं और अल्लाह बड़ा बख़शने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 92
وَلَا And not عَلَى on ٱلَّذِينَ those who, إِذَا when مَآ when أَتَوْكَ they came to you لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ that you provide them with mounts, قُلْتَ you said, لَآ "Not أَجِدُ I find مَآ what أَحْمِلُكُمْ to mount you عَلَيْهِ on [it]. تَوَلَّوا۟ They turned back وَّأَعْيُنُهُمْ with their eyes تَفِيضُ flowing مِنَ [of] ٱلدَّمْعِ (with) the tears, حَزَنًا (of) sorrow أَلَّا that not يَجِدُوا۟ they find مَا what يُنفِقُونَ they (could) spend.
English - Nor [is there blame] upon those who, when they came to you that you might give them mounts, you said, "I can find nothing for you to ride upon." They turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not find something to spend [for the cause of Allah]. .
हिंदी - और न उन्हीं लोगों पर कोई इल्जाम है जो तुम्हारे पास आए कि तुम उनके लिए सवारी बाहम पहुँचा दो और तुमने कहा कि मेरे पास (तो कोई सवारी) मौजूद नहीं कि तुमको उस पर सवार करूँ तो वह लोग (मजबूरन) फिर गए और हसरत (व अफसोस) उसे उस गम में कि उन को खर्च मयस्सर न आया।.
Ayah 93
إِنَّمَا Only ٱلسَّبِيلُ the way (blame) عَلَى (is) on ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَ ask your permission وَهُمْ while they أَغْنِيَآءُ (are) rich. رَضُوا۟ They (are) satisfied بِأَن to يَكُونُوا۟ be مَعَ with ٱلْخَوَالِفِ those who stay behind, وَطَبَعَ and Allah sealed ٱللَّهُ and Allah sealed عَلَىٰ [on] قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts, فَهُمْ so they لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - The cause [for blame] is only upon those who ask permission of you while they are rich. They are satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and Allah has sealed over their hearts, so they do not know. .
हिंदी - उनकी ऑंखों से ऑंसू जारी थे (इल्जाम की) सबील तो सिर्फ उन्हीं लोगों पर है जिन्होंने बावजूद मालदार होने के तुमसे (जिहाद में) न जाने की इजाजत चाही और उनके पीछे रह जाने वाले (औरतों, बच्चों) के साथ रहना पसन्द आया और अल्लाह ने उनके दिलों पर (गोया) मोहर कर दी है तो ये लोग कुछ नहीं जानते।.
Ayah 94
يَعْتَذِرُونَ They will make excuses إِلَيْكُمْ to you إِذَا when رَجَعْتُمْ you (have) returned إِلَيْهِمْ to them. قُل Say, لَّا "(Do) not تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ make excuse, لَن never نُّؤْمِنَ we will believe لَكُمْ you. قَدْ Verily, نَبَّأَنَا Allah (has) informed us ٱللَّهُ Allah (has) informed us مِنْ of أَخْبَارِكُمْ your news, وَسَيَرَى and Allah will see ٱللَّهُ and Allah will see عَمَلَكُمْ your deeds, وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger. ثُمَّ Then تُرَدُّونَ you will be brought back إِلَىٰ to, عَٰلِمِ (the) Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the seen, فَيُنَبِّئُكُم then He will inform you بِمَا of what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - They will make excuses to you when you have returned to them. Say, "Make no excuse – never will we believe you. Allah has already informed us of your news. And Allah will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; then you will be taken back to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do." .
हिंदी - जब तुम उनके पास (जिहाद से लौट कर) वापस आओगे तो ये (मुनाफिकीन) तुमसे (तरह तरह) की माअजरत करेंगे (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि बातें न बनाओ हम हरगिज तुम्हारी बात न मानेंगे (क्योंकि) हमे तो अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे हालात से आगाह कर दिया है अनकीरब अल्लाह और उसका रसूल तुम्हारी कारस्तानी को मुलाहजा फरमाएगें फिर तुम जाहिर व बातिन के जानने वालों (खुदा) की हुजूरी में लौटा दिए जाओगे तो जो कुछ तुम (दुनिया में) करते थे (जर्रा जर्रा) बता देगा।.
Ayah 95
سَيَحْلِفُونَ They will swear بِٱللَّهِ by Allah لَكُمْ to you إِذَا when ٱنقَلَبْتُمْ you returned إِلَيْهِمْ to them, لِتُعْرِضُوا۟ that you may turn away عَنْهُمْ from them. فَأَعْرِضُوا۟ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them, إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they رِجْسٌ (are) impure وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ and their abode جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell, جَزَآءًۢ a recompense بِمَا for what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَكْسِبُونَ earn.
English - They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them that you would leave them alone. So leave them alone; indeed they are evil; and their refuge is Hell as recompense for what they had been earning. .
हिंदी - जब तुम उनके पास (जिहाद से) वापस आओगे तो तुम्हारे सामने खुदा की कसमें खाएगें ताकि तुम उनसे दरगुजर करो तो तुम उनकी तरफ से मुँह फेर लो बेशक ये लोग नापाक हैं और उनका ठिकाना जहन्नुम है (ये) सजा है उसकी जो ये (दुनिया में) किया करते थे।.
Ayah 96
يَحْلِفُونَ They swear لَكُمْ to you لِتَرْضَوْا۟ that you may be pleased عَنْهُمْ with them. فَإِن But if تَرْضَوْا۟ you are pleased عَنْهُمْ with them, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (is) not pleased يَرْضَىٰ (is) not pleased عَنِ with ٱلْقَوْمِ the people ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ (who are) defiantly disobedient.
English - They swear to you so that you might be satisfied with them. But if you should be satisfied with them – indeed, Allah is not satisfied with a defiantly disobedient people. .
हिंदी - तुम्हारे सामने ये लोग कसमें खाते हैं ताकि तुम उनसे राजी हो (भी) जाओ तो खुदा बदकार लोगों से हरगिज कभी राजी नहीं होगा।.
Ayah 97
ٱلْأَعْرَابُ The bedouins أَشَدُّ (are) stronger كُفْرًا (in) disbelief وَنِفَاقًا and hypocrisy, وَأَجْدَرُ and more likely أَلَّا that not يَعْلَمُوا۟ they know حُدُودَ (the) limits مَآ (of) what أَنزَلَ Allah (has) revealed ٱللَّهُ Allah (has) revealed عَلَىٰ to رَسُولِهِۦ His Messenger. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - The Bedouins are stronger in disbelief and hypocrisy and more likely not to know the limits of what [laws] Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - (ये) अरब के गॅवार देहाती कुफ्र व निफाक में बड़े सख्त हैं और इसी काबिल हैं कि जो किताब खुदा ने अपने रसूल पर नाजिल फरमाई है उसके एहकाम न जानें और खुदा तो बड़ा दाना हकीम है।.
Ayah 98
وَمِنَ And among ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins مَن (is he) who يَتَّخِذُ takes مَا what يُنفِقُ he spends مَغْرَمًا (as) a loss, وَيَتَرَبَّصُ and he awaits بِكُمُ for you ٱلدَّوَآئِرَ the turns (of misfortune). عَلَيْهِمْ Upon them دَآئِرَةُ (will be) the turn ٱلسَّوْءِ (of) the evil. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer, عَلِيمٌ All-Knower.
English - And among the Bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. .
हिंदी - और कुछ गॅवार देहाती (ऐसे भी हैं कि जो कुछ खुदा की) राह में खर्च करते हैं उसे तावान (जुर्माना) समझते हैं और तुम्हारे हक में (जमाने की) गर्दिशों के मुन्तजिर (इन्तेजार में) हैं उन्हीं पर (जमाने की) बुरी गर्दिश पड़े और खुदा तो सब कुछ सुनता जानता है।.
Ayah 99
وَمِنَ But among ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins مَن (is he) who, يُؤْمِنُ believes بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day ٱلْءَاخِرِ the Last, وَيَتَّخِذُ and takes مَا what يُنفِقُ he spends قُرُبَٰتٍ (as) means of nearness عِندَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah وَصَلَوَٰتِ and blessings ٱلرَّسُولِ (of) the Messenger. أَلَآ Behold! إِنَّهَا Indeed, it قُرْبَةٌ (is) a means of nearness لَّهُمْ for them. سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ Allah will admit them ٱللَّهُ Allah will admit them فِى to رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ His Mercy. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - But among the Bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of [obtaining] invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - और कुछ देहाती तो ऐसे भी हैं जो खुदा और आखिरत पर ईमान रखते हैं और जो कुछ खर्च करते है उसे खुदा की (बारगाह में) नजदीकी और रसूल की दुआओं का जरिया समझते हैं आगाह रहो वाकई ये (खैरात) जरूर उनके तकर्रुब (करीब होने का) का बाइस है खुदा उन्हें बहुत जल्द अपनी रहमत में दाखिल करेगा बेशक खुदा बड़ा बख़्शने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 100
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ And the forerunners, ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ the first مِنَ among ٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ the emigrants وَٱلْأَنصَارِ and the helpers وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ٱتَّبَعُوهُم followed them بِإِحْسَٰنٍ in righteousness, رَّضِىَ Allah is pleased ٱللَّهُ Allah is pleased عَنْهُمْ with them, وَرَضُوا۟ and they are pleased عَنْهُ with Him. وَأَعَدَّ And He has prepared لَهُمْ for them جَنَّٰتٍ Gardens تَجْرِى flows تَحْتَهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, خَٰلِدِينَ will abide فِيهَآ in it أَبَدًا forever. ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great.
English - And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct – Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. .
हिंदी - और मुहाजिरीन व अन्सार में से (ईमान की तरफ) सबकत (पहल) करने वाले और वह लोग जिन्होंने नेक नीयती से (कुबूले ईमान में उनका साथ दिया खुदा उनसे राजी और वह अल्लाह से खुश और उनके वास्ते अल्लाह ने (वह हरे भरे) बाग जिन के नीचे नहरें जारी हैं तैयार कर रखे हैं वह हमेशा अब्दआलाबाद (हमेशा) तक उनमें रहेगें यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी हैं।.
Ayah 101
وَمِمَّنْ And among those حَوْلَكُم around you مِّنَ of ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins مُنَٰفِقُونَ (are) hypocrites وَمِنْ and (also) from أَهْلِ people ٱلْمَدِينَةِ (of) the Madinah. مَرَدُوا۟ They persist عَلَى in ٱلنِّفَاقِ the hypocrisy, لَا not تَعْلَمُهُمْ you know them, نَحْنُ We نَعْلَمُهُمْ [We] know them. سَنُعَذِّبُهُم We will punish them مَّرَّتَيْنِ twice ثُمَّ then يُرَدُّونَ they will be returned إِلَىٰ to عَذَابٍ a punishment عَظِيمٍ great.
English - And among those around you of the Bedouins are hypocrites, and [also] from the people of Madīnah. They have become accustomed to hypocrisy. You, [O Muhammad], do not know them, [but] We know them. We will punish them twice [in this world]; then they will be returned to a great punishment. .
हिंदी - (मुसलमानों) तुम्हारे एतराफ (आस पास) के गॅवार देहातियों में से बाज मुनाफिक (भी) हैं और खुद मदीने के रहने वालों मे से भी (बाज मुनाफिक हैं) जो निफाक पर अड़ गए हैं (ऐ रसूल) तुम उन को नहीं जानते (मगर) हम उनको (खूब) जानते हैं अनकरीब हम (दुनिया में) उनकी दोहरी सजा करेगें फिर ये लोग (कयामत में) एक बड़े अजाब की तरफ लौटाए जाएंगे।.
Ayah 102
وَءَاخَرُونَ And others ٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ (who have) acknowledged بِذُنُوبِهِمْ their sins. خَلَطُوا۟ They had mixed عَمَلًا a deed صَٰلِحًا righteous وَءَاخَرَ (with) other سَيِّئًا (that was) evil. عَسَى Perhaps ٱللَّهُ Allah أَن [that] يَتُوبَ will turn (in mercy) عَلَيْهِمْ to them. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - And [there are] others who have acknowledged their sins. They had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad. Perhaps Allah will turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - और कुछ लोग हैं जिन्होंने अपने गुनाहों का (तो) एकरार किया (मगर) उन लोगों ने भले काम को और कुछ बुरे काम को मिला जुला (कर गोलमाल) कर दिया करीब है कि अल्लाह उनकी तौबा कुबूल करे (क्योंकि) अल्लाह तो यकीनी बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान हैं।.
Ayah 103
خُذْ Take مِنْ from أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ their wealth صَدَقَةً a charity, تُطَهِّرُهُمْ purifying them وَتُزَكِّيهِم and cause them increase بِهَا by it, وَصَلِّ and bless عَلَيْهِمْ [upon] them. إِنَّ Indeed, صَلَوٰتَكَ your blessings سَكَنٌ (are a) reassurance لَّهُمْ for them. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer, عَلِيمٌ All-Knower.
English - Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah's blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) तुम उनके माल की जकात लो (और) इसकी बदौलत उनको (गुनाहो से) पाक साफ करों और उनके वास्ते दुआएं खैर करो क्योंकि तुम्हारी दुआ इन लोगों के हक में इत्मेनान (का बाइस है) और अल्लाह तो (सब कुछ) सुनता (और) जानता है।.
Ayah 104
أَلَمْ Do not يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah هُوَ (is) He يَقْبَلُ (Who) accepts ٱلتَّوْبَةَ the repentance عَنْ from عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves وَيَأْخُذُ and takes ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ the charities, وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلتَّوَّابُ (is) the Acceptor of repentance, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful.
English - Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts repentance from His servants and receives charities and that it is Allah who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful? .
हिंदी - क्या इन लोगों ने इतने भी नहीं जाना यकीनन अल्लाह बन्दों की तौबा कुबूल करता है और वही खैरातें (भी) लेता है और इसमें शक नहीं कि वही तौबा का बड़ा कुबूल करने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 105
وَقُلِ And say, ٱعْمَلُوا۟ "Do, فَسَيَرَى then Allah will see ٱللَّهُ then Allah will see عَمَلَكُمْ your deed وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger, وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ and the believers. وَسَتُرَدُّونَ And you will be brought back إِلَىٰ to عَٰلِمِ (the) Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the seen, فَيُنَبِّئُكُم then He will inform you بِمَا of what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - And say, "Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do." .
हिंदी - और (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि तुम लोग अपने अपने काम किए जाओ अभी तो अल्लाह और उसका रसूल और मोमिनीन तुम्हारे कामों को देखेगें और बहुत जल्द (कयामत में) जाहिर व बातिन के जानने वाले (खुदा) की तरफ लौटाए जाएंगे तब वह जो कुछ भी तुम करते थे तुम्हें बता देगा।.
Ayah 106
وَءَاخَرُونَ And others مُرْجَوْنَ deferred لِأَمْرِ for the Command of Allah - ٱللَّهِ for the Command of Allah - إِمَّا whether يُعَذِّبُهُمْ He will punish them وَإِمَّا or يَتُوبُ He will turn (in mercy) عَلَيْهِمْ to them. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - And [there are] others deferred until the command of Allah – whether He will punish them or whether He will forgive them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - और कुछ लोग हैं जो हुक्मे अल्लाह के उम्मीदवार किए गए हैं (उसको अख्तेयार है) ख्वाह उन पर अजाब करे या उन पर मेहरबानी करे और अल्लाह (तो) बड़ा वाकिफकार हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 107
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ take مَسْجِدًا a masjid ضِرَارًا (for causing) harm وَكُفْرًا and (for) disbelief, وَتَفْرِيقًۢا and (for) division بَيْنَ among ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers, وَإِرْصَادًا and (as) a station لِّمَنْ for whoever حَارَبَ warred ٱللَّهَ (against) Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger مِن before. قَبْلُ before. وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ And surely they will swear, إِنْ "Not أَرَدْنَآ we wish إِلَّا except ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ the good." وَٱللَّهُ But Allah يَشْهَدُ bears witness إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they لَكَٰذِبُونَ (are) surely liars.
English - And [there are] those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. And they will surely swear, "We intended only the best." And Allah testifies that indeed they are liars. .
हिंदी - और (वह लोग भी मुनाफिक हैं) जिन्होने (मुसलमानों के) नुकसान पहुंचाने और कुफ्र करने वाले और मोमिनीन के दरमियान तफरका (फूट) डालते और उस शख्स की घात में बैठने के वास्ते मस्जिद बनाकर खड़ी की है जो खुदा और उसके रसूल से पहले लड़ चुका है (और लुत्फ तो ये है कि) जरूर कसमें खाएगें कि हमने भलाई के सिवा कुछ और इरादा ही नहीं किया और अल्लाह खुद गवाही देता है।.
Ayah 108
لَا (Do) not تَقُمْ stand فِيهِ in it أَبَدًا ever. لَّمَسْجِدٌ A masjid أُسِّسَ founded عَلَى on ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ the righteousness مِنْ from أَوَّلِ (the) first يَوْمٍ day أَحَقُّ (is) more worthy أَن that تَقُومَ you stand فِيهِ in it. فِيهِ Within it رِجَالٌ (are) men يُحِبُّونَ who love أَن to يَتَطَهَّرُوا۟ purify themselves, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلْمُطَّهِّرِينَ the ones who purify themselves.
English - Do not stand [for prayer] within it – ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves. .
हिंदी - ये लोग यकीनन झूठे है (ऐ रसूल) तुम इस (मस्जिद) में कभी खड़े भी न होना वह मस्जिद जिसकी बुनियाद अव्वल रोज से परहेजगारी पर रखी गई है वह जरूर उसकी ज्यादा हकदार है कि तुम उसमें खडे होकर (नमाज पढ़ो क्योंकि) उसमें वह लोग हैं जो पाक व पाकीजा रहने को पसन्द करते हैं और खुदा भी पाक व पाकीजा रहने वालों को दोस्त रखता है।.
Ayah 109
أَفَمَنْ Then is (one) who أَسَّسَ founded بُنْيَٰنَهُۥ his building عَلَىٰ on تَقْوَىٰ righteousness مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَرِضْوَٰنٍ and (His) pleasure خَيْرٌ better أَم or مَّنْ (one) who أَسَّسَ founded بُنْيَٰنَهُۥ his building عَلَىٰ on شَفَا edge جُرُفٍ (of) a cliff هَارٍ (about to) collapse, فَٱنْهَارَ so it collapsed بِهِۦ with him فِى in نَارِ (the) Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the wrongdoing people. ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoing people.
English - Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. .
हिंदी - क्या जिस शख्स ने अल्लाह के खौफ और खुशनूदी पर अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद डाली हो वह ज्यादा अच्छा है या वह शखस जिसने अपनी इमारत की बुनियाद इस बोदे किनारे के लब पर रखी हो जिसमें दरार पड़ चुकी हो और अगर वह चाहता हो फिर उसे ले दे के जहन्नुम की आग में फट पडे और खुदा जालिम लोगों को मंजिलें मकसूद तक नहीं पहुंचाया करता।.
Ayah 110
لَا Not يَزَالُ (will) cease بُنْيَٰنُهُمُ their building ٱلَّذِى which بَنَوْا۟ they built رِيبَةً a (cause of) doubt فِى in قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts إِلَّآ except أَن that تَقَطَّعَ (are) cut into pieces قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - Their building which they built will not cease to be a [cause of] skepticism in their hearts until their hearts are stopped. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - (ये इमारत की) बुनियाद जो उन लोगों ने कायम की उसके सबब से उनके दिलो में हमेशा धरपकड़ रहेगी यहाँ तक कि उनके दिलों के परखचे उड़ जाएँ और अल्लाह तो बड़ा वाकिफकार हकीम हैं।.
Ayah 111
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah ٱشْتَرَىٰ (has) purchased مِنَ from ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers أَنفُسَهُمْ their lives وَأَمْوَٰلَهُم and their wealth, بِأَنَّ because لَهُمُ for them ٱلْجَنَّةَ (is) Paradise. يُقَٰتِلُونَ They fight فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, فَيَقْتُلُونَ they slay وَيُقْتَلُونَ and they are slain. وَعْدًا A promise عَلَيْهِ upon Him حَقًّا true, فِى in ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ the Taurat وَٱلْإِنجِيلِ and the Injeel وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ and the Quran. وَمَنْ And who أَوْفَىٰ (is) more faithful بِعَهْدِهِۦ to his promise مِنَ than ٱللَّهِ Allah? فَٱسْتَبْشِرُوا۟ So rejoice بِبَيْعِكُمُ in your transaction ٱلَّذِى which بَايَعْتُم you have contracted بِهِۦ [with it]. وَذَٰلِكَ And that هُوَ it ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great.
English - Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment. .
हिंदी - इसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि खुदा ने मोमिनीन से उनकी जानें और उनके माल इस बात पर खरीद लिए हैं कि (उनकी कीमत) उनके लिए बेहश्त है (इसी वजह से) ये लोग अल्लाह की राह में लड़ते हैं तो (कुफ्फार को) मारते हैं और खुद (भी) मारे जाते हैं (ये) पक्का वायदा है (जिसका पूरा करना) अल्लाह पर लाजिम है और ऐसा पक्का है कि तौरैत और इन्जील और कुरान (सब) में (लिखा हुआ है) और अपने एहद का पूरा करने वाला अल्लाह से बढ़कर कौन है तुम तो अपनी खरीद फरोख्त से जो तुमने अल्लाह से की है खुशियाँ मनाओ यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी है।.
Ayah 112
ٱلتَّٰٓئِبُونَ Those who turn in repentance, ٱلْعَٰبِدُونَ those who worship, ٱلْحَٰمِدُونَ those who praise, ٱلسَّٰٓئِحُونَ those who go out, ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ those who bow down, ٱلسَّٰجِدُونَ those who prostrate, ٱلْءَامِرُونَ those who enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right وَٱلنَّاهُونَ and those who forbid عَنِ [on] ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong, وَٱلْحَٰفِظُونَ and those who observe لِحُدُودِ (the) limits ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (to) the believers.
English - [Such believers are] the repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allah], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah. And give good tidings to the believers. .
हिंदी - (ये लोग) तौबा करने वाले इबादत गुजार (अल्लाह की) हम्दो सना (तारीफ) करने वाले (उस की राह में) सफर करने वाले रूकूउ करने वाले सजदा करने वाले नेक काम का हुक्म करने वाले और बुरे काम से रोकने वाले और खुदा की (मुकर्रर की हुई) हदो को निगाह रखने वाले हैं और (ऐ रसूल) उन मोमिनीन को (बेहिश्त की) खुशखबरी दे दो।.
Ayah 113
مَا Not كَانَ (it) is لِلنَّبِىِّ for the Prophet وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe أَن that يَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ they ask forgiveness لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ for the polytheists, وَلَوْ even though كَانُوٓا۟ they be أُو۟لِى near of kin, قُرْبَىٰ near of kin, مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] تَبَيَّنَ has become clear لَهُمْ to them, أَنَّهُمْ that they أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire.
English - It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire. .
हिंदी - नबी और मोमिनीन पर जब जाहिर हो चुका कि मुशरेकीन जहन्नुमी है तो उसके बाद मुनासिब नहीं कि उनके लिए मगफिरत की दुआएं माँगें अगरचे वह मुशरेकीन उनके कराबतदार हो (क्यों न) हो।.
Ayah 114
وَمَا And not كَانَ was ٱسْتِغْفَارُ (the) asking of forgiveness إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (by) Ibrahim لِأَبِيهِ for his father إِلَّا except عَن because مَّوْعِدَةٍ (of) a promise وَعَدَهَآ he had promised it إِيَّاهُ (to) him. فَلَمَّا But when تَبَيَّنَ it became clear لَهُۥٓ to him أَنَّهُۥ that he عَدُوٌّ (was) an enemy لِّلَّهِ to Allah, تَبَرَّأَ he disassociated مِنْهُ from him. إِنَّ Indeed, إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim لَأَوَّٰهٌ (was) compassionate, حَلِيمٌ forbearing.
English - And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to Allah, he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient. .
हिंदी - और इबराहीम का अपने बाप के लिए मगफिरत की दुआ माँगना सिर्फ इस वायदे की वजह से था जो उन्होंने अपने बाप से कर लिया था फिर जब उनको मालूम हो गया कि वह यकीनी अल्लाह का दुश्मन है तो उससे बेजार हो गए, बेशक इबराहीम यकीनन बड़े दर्दमन्द बुर्दबार (सहन करने वाले) थे।.
Ayah 115
وَمَا And not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ (for) Allah لِيُضِلَّ that He lets go astray قَوْمًۢا a people بَعْدَ after إِذْ [when] هَدَىٰهُمْ He has guided them حَتَّىٰ until يُبَيِّنَ He makes clear لَهُم to them مَّا what يَتَّقُونَ they should fear. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِكُلِّ (of) every شَىْءٍ thing عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower.
English - And Allah would not let a people stray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should avoid. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह की ये शान नहीं कि किसी कौम को जब उनकी हिदायत कर चुका हो उसके बाद बेशक अल्लाह उन्हें गुमराह कर दे हत्ता (यहां तक) कि वह उन्हीं चीजों को बता दे जिससे वह परहेज करें बेशक खुदा हर चीज से (वाकिफ है)।.
Ayah 116
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَهُۥ to Him (belongs) مُلْكُ the dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, يُحْىِۦ He gives life, وَيُمِيتُ and He causes death. وَمَا And not لَكُم for you مِّن besides Allah دُونِ besides Allah ٱللَّهِ besides Allah مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper.
English - Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper. .
हिंदी - इसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि सारे आसमान व जमीन की हुकूमत अल्लाह ही के लिए खास है वही (जिसे चाहे) जिलाता है और (जिसे चाहे) मारता है और तुम लोगों का अल्लाह के सिवा न कोई सरपरस्त है न मददगार।.
Ayah 117
لَّقَد Verily, تَّابَ Allah turned (in mercy) ٱللَّهُ Allah turned (in mercy) عَلَى to ٱلنَّبِىِّ the Prophet, وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ and the emigrants, وَٱلْأَنصَارِ and the helpers ٱلَّذِينَ [those] who ٱتَّبَعُوهُ followed him, فِى in سَاعَةِ (the) hour ٱلْعُسْرَةِ (of) difficulty مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] كَادَ had nearly يَزِيغُ deviated قُلُوبُ (the) hearts فَرِيقٍ (of) a party مِّنْهُمْ of them, ثُمَّ then تَابَ He turned (in mercy) عَلَيْهِمْ to them. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He بِهِمْ to them رَءُوفٌ (is) Most Kind, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Allah has already forgiven the Prophet and the Muhajireen and the Ansar who followed him in the hour of difficulty after the hearts of a party of them had almost inclined [to doubt], and then He forgave them. Indeed, He was to them Kind and Merciful. .
हिंदी - अलबत्ता अल्लाह ने नबी और उन मुहाजिरीन अन्सार पर बड़ा फजल किया जिन्होंने तंगदस्ती के वक्त रसूल का साथ दिया और वह भी उसके बाद कि करीब था कि उनमे ंसे कुछ लोगों के दिल जगमगा जाएँ फिर खुदा ने उन पर (भी) फजल किया इसमें शक नहीं कि वह उन लोगों पर पड़ा तरस खाने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 118
وَعَلَى And on ٱلثَّلَٰثَةِ the three ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who خُلِّفُوا۟ were left behind, حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَا when ضَاقَتْ (was) straitened عَلَيْهِمُ for them ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth, بِمَا though رَحُبَتْ it was vast. وَضَاقَتْ And (was) straitened عَلَيْهِمْ for them أَنفُسُهُمْ their own souls وَظَنُّوٓا۟ and they were certain أَن that لَّا (there is) no مَلْجَأَ refuge مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah إِلَّآ except إِلَيْهِ to Him. ثُمَّ Then تَابَ He turned (in mercy) عَلَيْهِمْ to them لِيَتُوبُوٓا۟ that they may repent. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلتَّوَّابُ (is) the Acceptor of repentance, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful.
English - And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind [and regretted their error] to the point that the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them and they were certain that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him. Then He turned to them so they could repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. .
हिंदी - और उन यमीमों पर (भी फजल किया) जो (जिहाद से पीछे रह गए थे और उन पर सख्ती की गई) यहाँ तक कि जमीन बावजूद उस वसअत (फैलाव) के उन पर तंग हो गई और उनकी जानें (तक) उन पर तंग हो गई और उन लोगों ने समझ लिया कि अल्लाह के सिवा और कहीं पनाह की जगह नहीं फिर अल्लाह ने उनको तौबा की तौफीक दी ताकि वह (अल्लाह की तरफ) रूजू करें बेशक अल्लाह ही बड़ा तौबा कुबूल करने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 119
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe! ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear ٱللَّهَ Allah وَكُونُوا۟ and be مَعَ with ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ those who are truthful.
English - O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारों अल्लाह से डरो और सच्चों के साथ हो जाओ।.
Ayah 120
مَا Not كَانَ it was لِأَهْلِ (for) the people ٱلْمَدِينَةِ of the Madinah وَمَنْ and who حَوْلَهُم were around them مِّنَ of ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins, أَن that يَتَخَلَّفُوا۟ they remain behind عَن after رَّسُولِ the Messenger ٱللَّهِ of Allah, وَلَا and not يَرْغَبُوا۟ they prefer بِأَنفُسِهِمْ their lives عَن to نَّفْسِهِۦ his life. ذَٰلِكَ That is بِأَنَّهُمْ because [they] لَا (does) not يُصِيبُهُمْ afflict them ظَمَأٌ thirst وَلَا and not نَصَبٌ fatigue وَلَا and not مَخْمَصَةٌ hunger فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَلَا and not يَطَـُٔونَ they step مَوْطِئًا any step يَغِيظُ that angers ٱلْكُفَّارَ the disbelievers وَلَا and not يَنَالُونَ they inflict مِنْ on عَدُوٍّ an enemy نَّيْلًا an infliction إِلَّا except كُتِبَ is recorded لَهُم for them بِهِۦ in it عَمَلٌ (as) a deed صَٰلِحٌ righteous. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُضِيعُ allow to be lost أَجْرَ the reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ (of) the good-doers.
English - It was not [proper] for the people of Madīnah and those surrounding them of the Bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 121
وَلَا And not يُنفِقُونَ they spend نَفَقَةً any spending صَغِيرَةً small وَلَا and not كَبِيرَةً big, وَلَا and not يَقْطَعُونَ they cross وَادِيًا a valley إِلَّا but كُتِبَ is recorded لَهُمْ for them, لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ that Allah may reward them ٱللَّهُ that Allah may reward them أَحْسَنَ the best مَا (of) what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing. .
हिंदी - और ये लोग (अल्लाह की राह में) थोड़ा या बहुत माल नहीं खर्च करते और किसी मैदान को नहीं कतआ करते मगर फौरन (उनके नामाए अमल में) उनके नाम लिख दिया जाता है ताकि खुदा उनकी कारगुजारियों का उन्हें अच्छे से अच्छा बदला अता फरमाए।.
Ayah 122
وَمَا And not كَانَ is ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ (for) the believers لِيَنفِرُوا۟ that they go forth كَآفَّةً all together. فَلَوْلَا So if not نَفَرَ go forth مِن from كُلِّ every فِرْقَةٍ group مِّنْهُمْ among them طَآئِفَةٌ a party لِّيَتَفَقَّهُوا۟ that they may obtain understanding فِى in ٱلدِّينِ the religion, وَلِيُنذِرُوا۟ and that they may warn قَوْمَهُمْ their people إِذَا when رَجَعُوٓا۟ they return إِلَيْهِمْ to them, لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَحْذَرُونَ beware.
English - And it is not for the believers to go forth [to battle] all at once. For there should separate from every division of them a group [remaining] to obtain understanding in the religion and warn their people when they return to them that they might be cautious. .
हिंदी - और ये भी मुनासिब नहीं कि मोमिननि कुल के कुल (अपने घरों में) निकल खड़े हों उनमें से हर गिरोह की एक जमाअत (अपने घरों से) क्यों नहीं निकलती ताकि इल्मे दीन हासिल करे और जब अपनी कौम की तरफ पलट के आवे तो उनको (अज्र व आखिरत से) डराए ताकि ये लोग डरें।.
Ayah 123
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe! قَٰتِلُوا۟ Fight ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَلُونَكُم (are) close to you مِّنَ of ٱلْكُفَّارِ the disbelievers, وَلْيَجِدُوا۟ and let them find فِيكُمْ in you غِلْظَةً harshness. وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah مَعَ (is) with ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ those who fear (Him).
English - O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness. And know that Allah is with the righteous. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारों कुफ्फार में से जो लोग तुम्हारे आस पास के है उन से लड़ों और (इस तरह लड़ना) चाहिए कि वह लोग तुम में करारापन महसूस करें और जान रखो कि बेशुबहा खुदा परहेजगारों के साथ है।.
Ayah 124
وَإِذَا And whenever مَآ And whenever أُنزِلَتْ is revealed سُورَةٌ a Surah, فَمِنْهُم among them مَّن (are some) who يَقُولُ say, أَيُّكُمْ "Which of you زَادَتْهُ (has) increased [it] هَٰذِهِۦٓ (by) this إِيمَٰنًا (in) faith?" فَأَمَّا As for ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe فَزَادَتْهُمْ then it has increased them إِيمَٰنًا (in) faith وَهُمْ and they يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ rejoice.
English - And whenever a sūrah is revealed, there are among the hypocrites those who say, "Which of you has this increased faith?" As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing. .
हिंदी - और जब कोई सूरा नाजिल किया गया तो उन मुनाफिकीन में से (एक दूसरे से) पूछता है कि भला इस सूरे ने तुममें से किसी का ईमान बढ़ा दिया तो जो लोग ईमान ला चुके हैं उनका तो इस सूरे ने ईमान बढ़ा दिया और वह वहां उसकी खुशियाँ मनाते है।.
Ayah 125
وَأَمَّا But as for ٱلَّذِينَ those, فِى in قُلُوبِهِم their hearts مَّرَضٌ (is) a disease, فَزَادَتْهُمْ (it) increases them رِجْسًا (in) evil إِلَىٰ to رِجْسِهِمْ their evil. وَمَاتُوا۟ And they die وَهُمْ while they كَٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers.
English - But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it has [only] increased them in evil [in addition] to their evil. And they will have died while they are disbelievers. .
हिंदी - मगर जिन लोगों के दिल में (निफाक की) बीमारी है तो उन (पिछली) खबासत पर इस सूरो ने एक खबासत और बढ़ा दी और ये लोग कुफ्र ही की हालत में मर गए।.
Ayah 126
أَوَلَا Do not يَرَوْنَ they see أَنَّهُمْ that they يُفْتَنُونَ are tried فِى [in] كُلِّ every عَامٍ year مَّرَّةً once أَوْ or مَرَّتَيْنِ twice? ثُمَّ Yet لَا not يَتُوبُونَ they turn (in repentance), وَلَا and not هُمْ they يَذَّكَّرُونَ pay heed.
English - Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice but then they do not repent nor do they remember? .
हिंदी - क्या वह लोग (इतना भी) नहीं देखते कि हर साल एक मरतबा या दो मरतबा बला में मुबितला किए जाते हैं फिर भी न तो ये लोग तौबा ही करते हैं और न नसीहत ही मानते हैं।.
Ayah 127
وَإِذَا And whenever مَآ And whenever أُنزِلَتْ is revealed سُورَةٌ a Surah, نَّظَرَ look بَعْضُهُمْ some of them إِلَىٰ to بَعْضٍ others, هَلْ "Does يَرَىٰكُم see you مِّنْ any أَحَدٍ one?" ثُمَّ Then ٱنصَرَفُوا۟ they turn away. صَرَفَ Allah has turned away ٱللَّهُ Allah has turned away قُلُوبَهُم their hearts بِأَنَّهُمْ because they قَوْمٌ (are) a people لَّا not يَفْقَهُونَ they understand.
English - And whenever a sūrah is revealed, they look at each other, [saying], "Does anyone see you?" and then they dismiss themselves. Allah has dismissed their hearts because they are a people who do not understand. .
हिंदी - और जब कोई सूरा नाजिल किया गया तो उसमें से एक की तरफ एक देखने लगा (और ये कहकर कि) तुम को कोई मुसलमान देखता तो नहीं है फिर (अपने घर) पलट जाते हैं (ये लोग क्या पलटेगें गोया) खुदा ने उनके दिलों को पलट दिया है इस सबब से कि ये बिल्कुल नासमझ लोग हैं।.
Ayah 128
لَقَدْ Certainly, جَآءَكُمْ (has) come to you رَسُولٌ a Messenger مِّنْ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves. عَزِيزٌ Grievous عَلَيْهِ to him مَا (is) what عَنِتُّمْ you suffer, حَرِيصٌ (he is) concerned عَلَيْكُم over you, بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ to the believers رَءُوفٌ (he is) kind رَّحِيمٌ (and) merciful.
English - There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful. .
हिंदी - लोगों तुम ही में से (हमारा) एक रसूल तुम्हारे पास आ चुका (जिसकी शफक्कत (मेहरबानी) की ये हालत है कि) उस पर शाक (दुख) है कि तुम तकलीफ उठाओ और उसे तुम्हारी बेहूदी का हौका है ईमानदारो पर हद दर्जे रफीक मेहरबान हैं।.
Ayah 129
فَإِن But if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away, فَقُلْ then say, حَسْبِىَ "Sufficient for me ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah. لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ Him. عَلَيْهِ On Him تَوَكَّلْتُ I put my trust. وَهُوَ And He رَبُّ (is the) Lord ٱلْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne, ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great."
English - But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne." .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल अगर इस पर भी ये लोग (तुम्हारे हुक्म से) मुँह फेरें तो तुम कह दो कि मेरे लिए खुदा काफी है उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं मैने उस पर भरोसा रखा है वही अर्श (ऐसे) बुर्जूग (मखलूका का) मालिक है।.
