Ayah 1
By the sky and the night comer,
English - By the sky and the night comer – .
Ayah 2
And what can make you know what the night comer (is)?
English - And what can make you know what is the night comer? .
Ayah 3
(It is) the star, the piercing!
English - It is the piercing star – .
Ayah 4
Not (is) every soul but over it (is) a protector.
English - There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. .
Ayah 5
So let see man from what he is created.
English - So let man observe from what he was created. .
Ayah 6
He is created from a water, ejected,
English - He was created from a fluid, ejected, .
Ayah 7
Coming forth from between the backbone and the ribs.
English - Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. .
Ayah 8
Indeed, He to return him (is) Able.
English - Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. .
Ayah 9
(The) Day will be tested the secrets,
English - The Day when secrets will be put on trial, .
Ayah 10
Then not (is) for him any power and not any helper.
English - Then man will have no power or any helper. .
Ayah 11
By the sky which returns,
English - By the sky which returns [rain] .
Ayah 12
And the earth which cracks open,
English - And [by] the earth which cracks open, .
Ayah 13
Indeed, it (is) surely a Word decisive,
English - Indeed, the Qur’an is a decisive statement, .
Ayah 14
And not it (is) for amusement.
English - And it is not amusement. .
Ayah 15
Indeed, they are plotting a plot,
English - Indeed, they are planning a plan, .
Ayah 16
But I am planning a plan.
English - But I am planning a plan. .
Ayah 17
So give respite (to) the disbelievers. Give respite to them - little.
English - So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. .
