Ayah 1
إِذَا When ٱلسَّمَآءُ the sky ٱنفَطَرَتْ (is) cleft asunder,
English - When the sky breaks apart .
हिंदी - जब आसमान फट जाएगा।.
Ayah 2
وَإِذَا And when ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ the stars ٱنتَثَرَتْ scatter,
English - And when the stars fall, scattering, .
हिंदी - और जब तारे बिखर जाएंगे।.
Ayah 3
وَإِذَا And when ٱلْبِحَارُ the seas فُجِّرَتْ are made to gush forth,
English - And when the seas are erupted .
हिंदी - और जब समुद्र उबल पड़ेगा।.
Ayah 4
وَإِذَا And when ٱلْقُبُورُ the graves بُعْثِرَتْ are overturned,
English - And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, .
हिंदी - और जब क़ब्रें उखाड़ दी जाएंगी।.
Ayah 5
عَلِمَتْ Will know نَفْسٌ a soul مَّا what قَدَّمَتْ it has sent forth وَأَخَّرَتْ and left behind.
English - A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. .
हिंदी - हर आत्मा जान लेगी कि उस ने क्या भेजा और क्या छोड़ा।.
Ayah 6
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ man! مَا What غَرَّكَ has deceived you بِرَبِّكَ concerning your Lord ٱلْكَرِيمِ the Most Noble,
English - O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, .
हिंदी - ऐ इंसान तुझे अपने करम करने वाले रब से किस चीज़ ने धोके में डाला।.
Ayah 7
ٱلَّذِى Who خَلَقَكَ created you, فَسَوَّىٰكَ then fashioned you فَعَدَلَكَ then balanced you?
English - Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? .
हिंदी - जिसने तुझे पैदा किया, फिर ठीक किया, फिर तुझे संतुलित बनाया।.
Ayah 8
فِىٓ In أَىِّ whatever صُورَةٍ form مَّا what شَآءَ He willed, رَكَّبَكَ He assembled you.
English - In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. .
हिंदी - जिस सूरत में उसने चाहा तुझे जोड़ दिया।.
Ayah 9
كَلَّا Nay! بَلْ But تُكَذِّبُونَ you deny بِٱلدِّينِ the Judgment.
English - No! But you deny the Recompense. .
हिंदी - हरगिज़ नहीं, बल्कि तुम लोग इंसाफ़ का इंकार करते हो।.
Ayah 10
وَإِنَّ And indeed, عَلَيْكُمْ over you لَحَٰفِظِينَ (are) surely guardians,
English - And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, .
हिंदी - हालांकि तुम पर निगरानी करने वाले तैनात हैं।.
Ayah 11
كِرَامًا Noble كَٰتِبِينَ recording,
English - Noble and recording; .
हिंदी - ईमानदार लिखने वाले।.
Ayah 12
يَعْلَمُونَ They know مَا whatever تَفْعَلُونَ you do.
English - They know whatever you do. .
हिंदी - जो कुछ तुम करते हो वह सब जानते हैं।.
Ayah 13
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْأَبْرَارَ the righteous لَفِى (will be) surely in نَعِيمٍ bliss,
English - Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, .
हिंदी - बेशक नेक लोग आनंद में होंगे।.
Ayah 14
وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱلْفُجَّارَ the wicked لَفِى (will be) surely in جَحِيمٍ Hellfire.
English - And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. .
हिंदी - और दुष्ट लोग नरक में होंगे।.
Ayah 15
يَصْلَوْنَهَا They will burn (in) it يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلدِّينِ (of) the Judgment,
English - They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, .
हिंदी - वह इंसाफ़ के दिन उस में दाख़िल होंगे।.
Ayah 16
وَمَا And not هُمْ they عَنْهَا from it بِغَآئِبِينَ (will be) absent.
English - And never therefrom will they be absent. .
हिंदी - और वह लोग उस से अनुपस्थित नहीं रहेंगे।.
Ayah 17
وَمَآ And what أَدْرَىٰكَ can make you know مَا what يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلدِّينِ (of) the Judgment?
English - And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? .
हिंदी - और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि न्याय दिवस क्या है?.
Ayah 18
ثُمَّ Then, مَآ what أَدْرَىٰكَ can make you know مَا what يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلدِّينِ (of) the Judgment?
English - Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? .
हिंदी - फिर तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि न्याय दिवस क्या है?.
Ayah 19
يَوْمَ (The) Day لَا not تَمْلِكُ will have power نَفْسٌ a soul لِّنَفْسٍ for a soul شَيْـًٔا anything, وَٱلْأَمْرُ and the Command يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلَّهِ (will be) with Allah.
English - It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. .
हिंदी - जिस दिन कोई किसी के लिए कुछ न कर सकेगा और उस दिन हुक्म सिर्फ़ अल्लाह का होगा ।.
