Ayah 1
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ They ask you عَنِ about ٱلْأَنفَالِ the spoils of war. قُلِ Say, ٱلْأَنفَالُ "The spoils of war لِلَّهِ (are) for Allah وَٱلرَّسُولِ and the Messenger. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ So fear ٱللَّهَ Allah وَأَصْلِحُوا۟ and set right ذَاتَ that بَيْنِكُمْ (which is) between you وَأَطِيعُوا۟ and obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ and His Messenger, إِن if كُنتُم you are مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers."
English - They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the bounties [of war]. Say, "The [decision concerning] bounties is for Allah and the Messenger." So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers. .
हिंदी - वह लोग तुम से अनफ़ाल (गनीमत के माल) के बारे में पूछा करते हैं, कह दो कि अनफ़ाल अल्लाह और रसूल के लिए है तो अल्लाह से डरो और अपने बीच सुधार कर लो और अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की बात मानो अगर तुम ईमान वाले हो।.
Ayah 2
إِنَّمَا Only ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who إِذَا when ذُكِرَ is mentioned ٱللَّهُ Allah وَجِلَتْ feel fear قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts, وَإِذَا and when تُلِيَتْ are recited عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَٰتُهُۥ His Verses, زَادَتْهُمْ they increase them إِيمَٰنًا (in) faith, وَعَلَىٰ and upon رَبِّهِمْ their Lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَ they put their trust.
English - The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely – .
हिंदी - ईमान वाले तो बस वह लोग हैं कि जब अल्लाह का ज़िक्र किया जाता है तो उनके दिल काँप उठते हैं और जब उन पर उसकी आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं तो वह उनके ईमान को बढ़ा देती हैं और वह अपने पालनहार ही पर भरोसा रखते हैं।.
Ayah 3
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يُقِيمُونَ establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَمِمَّا and out of what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ We have provided them يُنفِقُونَ they spend.
English - The ones who establish prayer, and from what We have provided them, they spend. .
हिंदी - जो नमाज़ क़ायम करते हैं और उस में से, जो हमने उन्हें दिया है, ख़र्च करते हैं।.
Ayah 4
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those - هُمُ they are ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers حَقًّا (in) truth. لَّهُمْ For them دَرَجَٰتٌ (are) ranks عِندَ with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord وَمَغْفِرَةٌ and forgiveness وَرِزْقٌ and a provision كَرِيمٌ noble.
English - Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision. .
हिंदी - यही लोग सच्चे ईमान वाले हैं, उनके लिए उनके रब के पास दर्जे हैं और बख़्शिश और इज़्ज़्ात वाली रोज़ी है।.
Ayah 5
كَمَآ As أَخْرَجَكَ brought you out رَبُّكَ your Lord مِنۢ from بَيْتِكَ your home بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, وَإِنَّ while indeed, فَرِيقًا a party مِّنَ among ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers لَكَٰرِهُونَ certainly disliked.
English - [It is] just as when your Lord brought you out of your home [for the battle of Badr] in truth, while indeed, a party among the believers were unwilling, .
हिंदी - जिस तरह तुम्हारे रब ने तुम्हें हक़ के साथ तुम्हारे घर से निकाला और बेशक ईमान वालों का एक गिरोह नाख़ुश था।.
Ayah 6
يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ They dispute with you فِى concerning ٱلْحَقِّ the truth بَعدَمَا after what تَبَيَّنَ was made clear, كَأَنَّمَا as if يُسَاقُونَ they were driven إِلَى to ٱلْمَوْتِ [the] death وَهُمْ while they يَنظُرُونَ (were) looking.
English - Arguing with you concerning the truth after it had become clear, as if they were being driven toward death while they were looking on. .
हिंदी - वह लोग हक़ बात में उसके जाहिर होने के बाद भी तुम से झगड़ रहे थे, जैसे कि उन्हें मौत की तरफ़ ढ़केला जा रहा है और वह देख रहे हैं।.
Ayah 7
وَإِذْ And when يَعِدُكُمُ promised you ٱللَّهُ Allah إِحْدَى one ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ (of) the two groups - أَنَّهَا that it (would be) لَكُمْ for you - وَتَوَدُّونَ and you wished أَنَّ that غَيْرَ (one) other than ذَاتِ that ٱلشَّوْكَةِ (of) the armed تَكُونُ would be لَكُمْ for you. وَيُرِيدُ But intended ٱللَّهُ Allah أَن to يُحِقَّ justify ٱلْحَقَّ the truth بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ by His words, وَيَقْطَعَ and cut off دَابِرَ (the) roots ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers
English - Remember, [O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups - that it would be yours - and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers..
हिंदी - और जब अल्लाह तुम से वादा कर रहा था कि दो गिरोहों में से एक तुम्हारे लिए होगा और तुम चाहते थे कि कमज़ोर गिरोह तुम्हारे हाथ लगे और अल्लाह चाहता था कि अपनी बातों से हक़ को साबित कर दे और काफ़िरों की जड़ काट डाले।.
Ayah 8
لِيُحِقَّ That He might justify ٱلْحَقَّ the truth وَيُبْطِلَ and prove false ٱلْبَٰطِلَ the falsehood, وَلَوْ even if كَرِهَ disliked (it) ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals.
English - That He should establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it. .
हिंदी - ताकि सच को सच और झूठ को झूठ कर दे, भले ही मुजरिम ना पसंद करें।.
Ayah 9
إِذْ When تَسْتَغِيثُونَ you were seeking help رَبَّكُمْ (of) your Lord فَٱسْتَجَابَ and He answered لَكُمْ [to] you, أَنِّى "Indeed, I am مُمِدُّكُم going to reinforce you بِأَلْفٍ with a thousand مِّنَ of ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ the Angels مُرْدِفِينَ one after another."
English - [Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, "Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another." .
हिंदी - जब तुम अपने रब से मदद मांग रहे थे तो उसने तुम्हारी सुन ली कि मैं तुम्हारी लगातार हजार फरिश्तों से मदद करने वाला हूं।.
Ayah 10
وَمَا And not جَعَلَهُ (it was) made ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah إِلَّا but بُشْرَىٰ good tidings وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ and so that might be at rest بِهِۦ with it قُلُوبُكُمْ your hearts. وَمَا And (there is) no ٱلنَّصْرُ [the] victory إِلَّا except مِنْ from عِندِ [of] ٱللَّهِ Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - And Allah made it not but good tidings and so that your hearts would be assured thereby. And victory is not but from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह ने इसे नहीं बनाया मगर ख़ुशख़बरी और इसलिए कि तुम्हारे दिल इस से सुकून पा जाएं और मदद अल्लाह ही की तरफ़ से है, बेशक अल्लाह बहुत ज़बरदस्त, ख़ूब सूझ बूझ वाला है।.
Ayah 11
إِذْ When يُغَشِّيكُمُ He covered you ٱلنُّعَاسَ with [the] slumber, أَمَنَةً a security مِّنْهُ from Him, وَيُنَزِّلُ and sent down عَلَيْكُم upon you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water, لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم so that He may purify you بِهِۦ with it, وَيُذْهِبَ and take away عَنكُمْ from you رِجْزَ evil (suggestions) ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ (of) the Shaitaan. وَلِيَرْبِطَ And to strengthen عَلَىٰ [on] قُلُوبِكُمْ your hearts وَيُثَبِّتَ and make firm بِهِ with it ٱلْأَقْدَامَ your feet.
English - [Remember] when He overwhelmed you with drowsiness [giving] security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky, rain by which to purify you and remove from you the evil [suggestions] of Satan and to make steadfast your hearts and plant firmly thereby your feet. .
हिंदी - जब वह अपनी तरफ़ से सुकून देने के लिए तुम पर नींद को ग़ालिब कर रहा था और तुम पर आसमान से पानी बरसा रहा था ताकि उससे तुम्हें पाक कर दे और तुम से शैतान की गंदगी दूर कर दे और तुम्हारे दिलों को मजबूत कर दे और उस से तुम्हारे क़दम जमाए रखे।.
Ayah 12
إِذْ When يُوحِى inspired رَبُّكَ your Lord إِلَى to ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ the Angels, أَنِّى "I am مَعَكُمْ with you, فَثَبِّتُوا۟ so strengthen ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed. سَأُلْقِى I will cast فِى in قُلُوبِ (the) hearts ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved - ٱلرُّعْبَ the terror, فَٱضْرِبُوا۟ so strike فَوْقَ above ٱلْأَعْنَاقِ the necks وَٱضْرِبُوا۟ and strike مِنْهُمْ from them كُلَّ every بَنَانٍ fingertip[s]."
English - [Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip." .
हिंदी - जब तुम्हारा रब फ़रिश्तों को वही (प्रकाशना) कर रहा था कि मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ तो जो ईमान लाए तुम उन्हें जमाए रखो, मैं बहुत जल्द काफ़िरों के दिलों में रौब डाल दूँगा तो गर्दनों के ऊपर वार करो और उनकी हर पोर पर चोट मारो।.
Ayah 13
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they شَآقُّوا۟ opposed ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger. وَمَن And whoever يُشَاقِقِ opposes ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah شَدِيدُ (is) severe ٱلْعِقَابِ in [the] penalty.
English - That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger – indeed, Allah is severe in penalty. .
हिंदी - यह इसलिए कि उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की मुख़ालिफ़त की और जो अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की मुख़ालिफ़त करेगा तो बेशक अल्लाह बड़ा सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है।.
Ayah 14
ذَٰلِكُمْ That - فَذُوقُوهُ "So taste it." وَأَنَّ And that, لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ for the disbelievers عَذَابَ (is the) punishment ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire.
English - "That [is yours], so taste it." And indeed for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire. .
हिंदी - यही है तो तुम चखो और बेशक काफ़िरों के लिए आग का अज़्ााब है।.
Ayah 15
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe! إِذَا When لَقِيتُمُ you meet ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve زَحْفًا advancing, فَلَا then (do) not تُوَلُّوهُمُ turn to them ٱلْأَدْبَارَ the backs.
English - O you who have believed, when you meet those who disbelieve advancing [for battle], do not turn to them your backs [in flight]. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमान वालो जब तुम काफ़िरों से जंग के मैदान में मिलो तो उन्हें पीठ न दिखाना।.
Ayah 16
وَمَن And whoever يُوَلِّهِمْ turns to them يَوْمَئِذٍ that day دُبُرَهُۥٓ his back إِلَّا except مُتَحَرِّفًا (as) a strategy لِّقِتَالٍ of war أَوْ or مُتَحَيِّزًا (to) join إِلَىٰ to فِئَةٍ a group, فَقَدْ certainly بَآءَ (he has) incurred بِغَضَبٍ wrath مِّنَ of ٱللَّهِ Allah وَمَأْوَىٰهُ and his abode جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell, وَبِئْسَ a wretched ٱلْمَصِيرُ destination.
English - And whoever turns his back to them on such a day, unless swerving [as a strategy] for war or joining [another] company, has certainly returned with anger [upon him] from Allah, and his refuge is Hell – and wretched is the destination. .
हिंदी - और जो उस दिन उन से अपनी पीठ फेरेगा सिवाए लड़ाई के लिए किनारे चलने वाले या किसी फ़ौज में मिल जाने वाले के तो वह अल्लाह के ग़ज़ब में आ चुका और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नम है और बहुत ही बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 17
فَلَمْ And not تَقْتُلُوهُمْ you kill them, وَلَٰكِنَّ but ٱللَّهَ Allah قَتَلَهُمْ killed them. وَمَا And not رَمَيْتَ you threw إِذْ when رَمَيْتَ you threw, وَلَٰكِنَّ but ٱللَّهَ Allah رَمَىٰ threw وَلِيُبْلِىَ and that He may test ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers مِنْهُ from Him بَلَآءً (with) a trial حَسَنًا good. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearing, عَلِيمٌ All-Knowing.
English - And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. .
हिंदी - तो तुम ने उन्हें क़त्ल नहीं किया बल्कि अल्लाह ने उन्हें क़त्ल किया और तुम ने उन पर नहीं फेंका जब तुम ने फेंका लेकिन अल्लाह ने फंेका और ताकि वह ईमान वालों को उस से अच्छी तरह आज़माए बेशक अल्लाह ख़ूब सुनने वाला, बहुत जानने वाला है। 18 ये तो ये खुदा तो काफिरों की मक्कारी का कमजोर कर देने वाला है.
Ayah 18
ذَٰلِكُمْ That (is the case) وَأَنَّ and that, ٱللَّهَ Allah (is) مُوهِنُ one who makes weak كَيْدِ (the) plan ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers.
English - That [is so], and [also] that Allah will weaken the plot of the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - यह है और बेशक अल्लाह काफ़िरों की चाल को को कमज़ोर कर देने वाला है।.
Ayah 19
إِن If تَسْتَفْتِحُوا۟ you ask for victory فَقَدْ then certainly جَآءَكُمُ has come to you ٱلْفَتْحُ the victory. وَإِن And if تَنتَهُوا۟ you desist, فَهُوَ then it (is) خَيْرٌ good لَّكُمْ for you, وَإِن but if تَعُودُوا۟ you return, نَعُدْ We will return (too). وَلَن And never تُغْنِىَ will avail عَنكُمْ you فِئَتُكُمْ your forces شَيْـًٔا anything, وَلَوْ even if كَثُرَتْ (they are) numerous. وَأَنَّ And that ٱللَّهَ Allah مَعَ (is) with ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
English - If you [disbelievers] seek the victory – the defeat has come to you. And if you desist [from hostilities], it is best for you; but if you return [to war], We will return, and never will you be availed by your [large] company at all, even if it should increase; and [that is] because Allah is with the believers. .
हिंदी - अगर तुम जीत चाहते हो तो जीत तुम्हारे पास आ चुकी है और अगर तुम बाज़्ा रहे तो वह तुम्हारे लिए बेहतर है और अगर तुम पलटे तो हम भी पलट पड़ेंगे और तुम्हारी जमाअत बिल्कुल तुम्हारे कुछ काम न आएगी भले ही वह ज़्यादा हो और बेशक अल्लाह ईमान वालों के साथ है।.
Ayah 20
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe! أَطِيعُوا۟ Obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger. وَلَا And (do) not تَوَلَّوْا۟ turn away عَنْهُ from him وَأَنتُمْ while you تَسْمَعُونَ hear.
English - O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him while you hear [his order]. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमान वालो, अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो और उस से मुँह न मोड़ो जबकि तुम सुन रहे हो।.
Ayah 21
وَلَا And (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be كَٱلَّذِينَ like those who قَالُوا۟ say, سَمِعْنَا "We heard," وَهُمْ while they لَا (do) not يَسْمَعُونَ hear.
English - And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear. .
हिंदी - और उनकी तरह मत हो जाना जिन्होंने कहा कि हम ने सुन लिया जबकि वह सुनते नहीं।.
Ayah 22
إِنَّ Indeed, شَرَّ worst ٱلدَّوَآبِّ (of) the living creatures عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلصُّمُّ (are) the deaf, ٱلْبُكْمُ the dumb - ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يَعْقِلُونَ use (their) intellect.
English - Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason. .
हिंदी - बेशक सबसे बूरे, अल्लाह के नज़्ादीक जमीन पर चलने वालों में, बहरे गूंगे हैं जो अक़्ल नहीं रखते।.
Ayah 23
وَلَوْ And if عَلِمَ (had) known ٱللَّهُ Allah فِيهِمْ in them خَيْرًا any good, لَّأَسْمَعَهُمْ surely, He (would) have made them hear. وَلَوْ And if أَسْمَعَهُمْ He had made them hear, لَتَوَلَّوا۟ surely they would have turned away, وَّهُم while they مُّعْرِضُونَ (were) averse.
English - Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would [still] have turned away, while they were refusing. .
हिंदी - और अगर अल्लाह उनमें नेकी को देखता तो ज़रूर उनमें सुनने की क़ाबलियत अता करता मगर यह ऐसे हैं कि अगर उनमें सुनने की क़ाबिलयत भी देता तो मुँह फेर कर भागते।.
Ayah 24
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ Respond لِلَّهِ to Allah وَلِلرَّسُولِ and His Messenger إِذَا when دَعَاكُمْ he calls you لِمَا to what يُحْيِيكُمْ gives you life. وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَحُولُ comes بَيْنَ (in) between ٱلْمَرْءِ a man وَقَلْبِهِۦ and his heart, وَأَنَّهُۥٓ and that إِلَيْهِ to Him تُحْشَرُونَ you will be gathered.
English - O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारो, जब तुम्हें रसूल (मोहम्मद) ऐसे काम के लिए बुलाए जो तुम्हारी रूहानी ज़िन्दगी का बाइस हो तो तुम अल्लाह और रसूल का हुक्म दिल से कु़बूल कर लो और जान लो कि अल्लाह आदमी और उसके दिल के बीच आ जाता है और यह भी समझ लो कि तुम सबके सब उसके सामने हाज़िर किए जाओगे।.
Ayah 25
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ And fear فِتْنَةً a trial لَّا not تُصِيبَنَّ which will afflict ٱلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوا۟ do wrong مِنكُمْ among you خَآصَّةً exclusively. وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah شَدِيدُ (is) severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) the penalty.
English - And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty. .
हिंदी - और उस फ़ितने से डरते रहो जो ख़ास उन्हीं लोगों पर नही पड़ेगा जिन्होने तुम में से जु़ल्म किया और जान लो कि अल्लाह बड़ा सख़्त अजाब करने वाला है।.
Ayah 26
وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ And remember إِذْ when أَنتُمْ you قَلِيلٌ (were) few مُّسْتَضْعَفُونَ (and) deemed weak فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth تَخَافُونَ fearing أَن that يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ might do away with you ٱلنَّاسُ the men, فَـَٔاوَىٰكُمْ then He sheltered you, وَأَيَّدَكُم and strengthened you بِنَصْرِهِۦ with His help, وَرَزَقَكُم and provided you مِّنَ of ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ the good things لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَشْكُرُونَ (be) thankful.
English - And remember when you were few and oppressed in the land, fearing that people might abduct you, but He sheltered you, supported you with His victory, and provided you with good things – that you might be grateful. .
हिंदी - और याद करो जब तुम ज़मीन (मक्के) में बहुत कम और बिल्कुल बेबस थे। उससे सहमे जाते थे कि कहीं लोग तुम्हें उचक न ले जाएं तो उस ने तुम्हें (मदीने में) पनाह दी और अपनी मदद से तुम्हारी ताईद की और तुम्हें पाकीजा़ चीजें खाने को दी ताकि तुम शुक्र गुजारी करो।.
Ayah 27
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! لَا (Do) not تَخُونُوا۟ betray ٱللَّهَ Allah وَٱلرَّسُولَ and the Messenger, وَتَخُونُوٓا۟ or betray أَمَٰنَٰتِكُمْ your trusts وَأَنتُمْ while you تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमानदारो अल्लाह और रसूल से ख़्यानत न करो और न अपनी अमानतों में ख़्यानत करो इस हाल में कि तुम जानते बूझते हो।.
Ayah 28
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know أَنَّمَآ that أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ your wealth وَأَوْلَٰدُكُمْ and your children فِتْنَةٌ (are) a trial. وَأَنَّ And that ٱللَّهَ Allah - عِندَهُۥٓ with Him أَجْرٌ (is) a reward عَظِيمٌ great.
English - And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward. .
हिंदी - और जान लो कि तुम्हारे माल और तुम्हारी औलाद आज़माइश (इम्तेहान) हैं और बेशक अल्लाह के पास बड़ा बदला है।.
Ayah 29
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe! إِن If تَتَّقُوا۟ you fear ٱللَّهَ Allah, يَجْعَل He will grant لَّكُمْ you فُرْقَانًا a criterion وَيُكَفِّرْ and will remove عَنكُمْ from you سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ your evil deeds وَيَغْفِرْ and forgive لَكُمْ you. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ذُو (is) the Possessor ٱلْفَضْلِ (of) Bounty, ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great.
English - O you who have believed, if you fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion and will remove from you your misdeeds and forgive you. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमान वालो अगर तुम अल्लाह से डरते रहोगे तो वह तुम्हारे लिए इम्तियाज़ पैदा कर देगा और तुम्हारी तरफ़ से तुम्हारे गुनाह का कफ़्फ़ारा देगा और तुम्हें बख़्श देगा और अल्लाह बड़ा फ़ज़्ल वाला है।.
Ayah 30
وَإِذْ And when يَمْكُرُ plotted بِكَ against you ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved لِيُثْبِتُوكَ that they restrain you أَوْ or يَقْتُلُوكَ kill you أَوْ or يُخْرِجُوكَ drive you out. وَيَمْكُرُونَ And they were planning وَيَمْكُرُ and (also) was planning ٱللَّهُ Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَيْرُ is (the) Best ٱلْمَٰكِرِينَ (of) the Planners.
English - And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners. .
हिंदी - और जब काफ़िर तुम से फरेब कर रहे थे ताकि तुम्हें कै़द कर लें या तुमको मार डालंे या तुम्हें निकाल बाहर करें और वह चालाकी कर रहे थे और अल्लाह भी तदबीर कर रहा था और अल्लाह सब तदबीर करने वालों से बेहतर है।.
Ayah 31
وَإِذَا And when تُتْلَىٰ are recited عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَٰتُنَا Our Verses قَالُوا۟ they say, قَدْ "Verily سَمِعْنَا we have heard. لَوْ if نَشَآءُ we wish لَقُلْنَا surely, we could say مِثْلَ like هَٰذَآ this. إِنْ Not هَٰذَآ is this إِلَّآ but أَسَٰطِيرُ tales ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people)."
English - And when Our verses are recited to them, they say, "We have heard. If we willed, we could say [something] like this. This is not but legends of the former peoples." .
हिंदी - और जब उनके सामने हमारी आयतंे पढ़ी जाती हैं तो बोल उठते हैं कि हमने सुन लिया, अगर हम चाहें तो यक़ीनन ऐसा ही हम भी कह सकते हैं, यह तो बस अगलों के क़िस्से हैं।.
Ayah 32
وَإِذْ And when قَالُوا۟ they said, ٱللَّهُمَّ "O Allah! إِن If كَانَ was هَٰذَا this هُوَ [it] ٱلْحَقَّ the truth مِنْ [of] عِندِكَ from You فَأَمْطِرْ then (send) rain عَلَيْنَا upon us حِجَارَةً (of) stones مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky أَوِ or ٱئْتِنَا bring (upon) us بِعَذَابٍ a punishment أَلِيمٍ painful."
English - And [remember] when they said, "O Allah, if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment." .
हिंदी - और जब उन लोगों ने कहा कि ऐ अल्लाह अगर यह हक़ है तेरी तरफ़ से तो हम पर आसमान से पत्थर बरसा दे या हम पर कोई और दर्दनाक अज़ाब ही उतार दे।.
Ayah 33
وَمَا But not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ (for) Allah لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ that He punishes them وَأَنتَ while you فِيهِمْ (are) among them, وَمَا and not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ Allah مُعَذِّبَهُمْ the One Who punishes them وَهُمْ while they يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ seek forgiveness.
English - But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness. .
हिंदी - और जब तक तुम उनके बीच हो अल्लाह उन्हें अज़ाब नहीं देगा और अल्लाह उन्हें अज़्ााब देने वाला नहीं है इस हाल में कि वह माफ़ी माँग रहे हैं।.
Ayah 34
وَمَا But what لَهُمْ (is) for them أَلَّا that not يُعَذِّبَهُمُ (should) punish them ٱللَّهُ Allah وَهُمْ while they يَصُدُّونَ hinder (people) عَنِ from ٱلْمَسْجِدِ Al-Masjid ٱلْحَرَامِ Al-Haraam, وَمَا while not كَانُوٓا۟ they are أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥٓ its guardians? إِنْ Not (can be) أَوْلِيَآؤُهُۥٓ its guardians إِلَّا except ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ the ones who fear Allah, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - But why should Allah not punish them while they obstruct [people] from al-Masjid al-îaram and they were not [fit to be] its guardians? Its [true] guardians are not but the righteous, but most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - और जब यह लोग मस्जिदे हराम से रोकते है तो फिर उनके लिए क्या है कि वह उन पर अज़ाब नाज़िल न करे और यह लोग उसके मुतवल्ली भी नहीं है, इसके मुतवल्ली तो सिर्फ़ परहेज़गार लोग हैं मगर इन में से अक्सर नहीं जानते।.
Ayah 35
وَمَا And not كَانَ was صَلَاتُهُمْ their prayer عِندَ at ٱلْبَيْتِ the House إِلَّا except مُكَآءً whistling وَتَصْدِيَةً and clapping. فَذُوقُوا۟ So taste ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment بِمَا because كُنتُمْ you used to تَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve.
English - And their prayer at the House was not except whistling and handclapping. So taste the punishment for what you disbelieved. .
हिंदी - और घर के पास उनकी नमाज नहीं थी मगर सीटियाँ और तालियाँ बजाना तो उस अज़्ााब को चखो जिसका तुम इंकार किया करते थे।.
Ayah 36
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, يُنفِقُونَ they spend أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ their wealth لِيَصُدُّوا۟ to hinder (people) عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا So they will spend it, ثُمَّ then تَكُونُ it will be عَلَيْهِمْ for them حَسْرَةً a regret, ثُمَّ then يُغْلَبُونَ they will be overcome. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve, إِلَىٰ to جَهَنَّمَ Hell يُحْشَرُونَ they will be gathered.
English - Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah. So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved – unto Hell they will be gathered. .
हिंदी - बेशक काफ़िर अपना माल इस लिए ख़र्च करते हैं कि वह अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोक दें तो वह ख़र्च करके रहेंगे फिर उनके लिए हसरत होगी फिर वह लोग हार जाएँगे और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्ऱ किया वह जहन्नम की तरफ़ हांके जाएँगे।.
Ayah 37
لِيَمِيزَ That may distinguish ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلْخَبِيثَ the wicked مِنَ from ٱلطَّيِّبِ the good, وَيَجْعَلَ and place ٱلْخَبِيثَ the wicked بَعْضَهُۥ some of them عَلَىٰ on بَعْضٍ others فَيَرْكُمَهُۥ and heap them جَمِيعًا all together, فَيَجْعَلَهُۥ and put them فِى in جَهَنَّمَ Hell. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those - هُمُ they ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ (are) the losers.
English - [This is] so that Allah may distinguish the wicked from the good and place the wicked some of them upon others and heap them all together and put them into Hell. It is those who are the losers. .
हिंदी - ताकि अल्लाह पाक को नापाक से जुदा कर दे और नापाक लोगों को एक दूसरे पर रखके ढ़ेर बनाए फिर उसे जहन्नम में झोंक दे। यही लोग घाटा उठाने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 38
قُل Say لِّلَّذِينَ to those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve إِن if يَنتَهُوا۟ they cease يُغْفَرْ will be forgiven لَهُم for them مَّا what قَدْ [verily] سَلَفَ (is) past. وَإِن But if يَعُودُوا۟ they return فَقَدْ then verily مَضَتْ preceded سُنَّتُ (the) practice ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people).
English - Say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them. But if they return [to hostility] – then the precedent of the former [rebellious] peoples has already taken place. .
हिंदी - काफ़िरों से कह दो कि अगर वह लोग बाज़ रहें तो उनके पिछले गुनाह माफ़ कर दिए जाएंगे और अगर फिर पलटें तो यकीनन अगलों का तरीक़ा गुज़र चुका है।.
Ayah 39
وَقَٰتِلُوهُمْ And fight them حَتَّىٰ until لَا not تَكُونَ there is فِتْنَةٌ oppression وَيَكُونَ and is ٱلدِّينُ the religion كُلُّهُۥ all of it لِلَّهِ for Allah. فَإِنِ But if ٱنتَهَوْا۟ they cease, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِمَا of what يَعْمَلُونَ they do بَصِيرٌ (is) All-Seer.
English - And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah. And if they cease – then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do. .
हिंदी - और काफ़िरों से लड़ो यहाँ तक कि कोई फसाद न रहे और पूरा का पूरा दीन अल्लाह के लिए ही हो फिर अगर यह लोग बाज़ न आएं तो बेशक अल्लाह ख़ूब देखता है जो वह करते हैं।.
Ayah 40
وَإِن And if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ then know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah مَوْلَىٰكُمْ (is) your Protector, نِعْمَ Excellent ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ (is) the Protector, وَنِعْمَ and Excellent ٱلنَّصِيرُ (is) the Helper.
English - But if they turn away – then know that Allah is your protector. Excellent is the protector, and Excellent is the helper. .
हिंदी - और अगर वह मुंह फेरे तो जान लो कि अल्लाह तुम्हारा मालिक है और वह बहुत अच्छा मालिक है और बहुत अच्छा मददगार है।.
Ayah 41
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know أَنَّمَا that what غَنِمْتُم you obtain (as) spoils of war مِّن of شَىْءٍ anything, فَأَنَّ then that, لِلَّهِ for Allah خُمُسَهُۥ (is) one fifth of it وَلِلرَّسُولِ and for the Messenger وَلِذِى and for the ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ near relatives, وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ and the orphans وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ and the needy وَٱبْنِ and the ٱلسَّبِيلِ wayfarer, إِن if كُنتُمْ you ءَامَنتُم believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah, وَمَآ and (in) what أَنزَلْنَا We sent down عَلَىٰ to عَبْدِنَا Our slave يَوْمَ (on the) day ٱلْفُرْقَانِ (of) the criterion, يَوْمَ (the) day ٱلْتَقَى (when) met ٱلْجَمْعَانِ the two forces. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - And know that anything you obtain of war booty – then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion – the day when the two armies met. And Allah, over all things, is competent. .
हिंदी - और जान लो कि जो कुछ तुम (माल लड़कर) लूटो तो उनमें का पाँचवाँ हिस्सा अल्लाह और रसूल और (रसूल के) क़राबतदारों और यतीमों और मिस्कीनों और परदेसियों का है अगर तुम अल्लाह पर और उस (गैबी इमदाद) पर ईमान ला चुके हो जो हमने हमारे बंदे पर फै़सले के दिन (जंग बदर में) नाज़िल की थी जिस दिन (मुसलमानों और काफ़िरों की) दो जमाअतें बाहम गुथ गयी थी और अल्लाह तो हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है।.
Ayah 42
إِذْ When أَنتُم you (were) بِٱلْعُدْوَةِ on side of the valley, ٱلدُّنْيَا the nearer وَهُم and they بِٱلْعُدْوَةِ (were) on the side, ٱلْقُصْوَىٰ the farther وَٱلرَّكْبُ and the caravan أَسْفَلَ (was) lower مِنكُمْ than you. وَلَوْ And if تَوَاعَدتُّمْ you (had) made an appointment لَٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ certainly you would have failed فِى in ٱلْمِيعَٰدِ the appointment. وَلَٰكِن But لِّيَقْضِىَ that might accomplish ٱللَّهُ Allah أَمْرًا a matter كَانَ (that) was مَفْعُولًا destined, لِّيَهْلِكَ that (might be) destroyed مَنْ (those) who هَلَكَ (were to be) destroyed عَنۢ on بَيِّنَةٍ a clear evidence وَيَحْيَىٰ and (might) live مَنْ (those) who حَىَّ (were to) live عَنۢ on بَيِّنَةٍ a clear evidence. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَسَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearing, عَلِيمٌ All-Knowing.
English - [Remember] when you were on the near side of the valley, and they were on the farther side, and the caravan was lower [in position] than you. If you had made an appointment [to meet], you would have missed the appointment. But [it was] so that Allah might accomplish a matter already destined – that those who perished [through disbelief] would perish upon evidence and those who lived [in faith] would live upon evidence; and indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. .
हिंदी - जब तुम (मैदाने जंग में मदीने के) क़रीब नाके पर थे और वह (दूर के) के नाके पर और (काफ़िले के) सवार तुम से नशेब में थे और अगर तुम एक दूसरे से वादा कर लेते हो तो और वक़्त पर गड़बड़ कर देते मगर (खुदा ने अचानक तुम लोगों को इकट्ठा कर दिया ताकि जो बात यदनी (होनी) थी वह पूरी कर दिखाए ताकि जो हलाक (गुमराह) हो वह (हक की) हुज्जत तमाम होने के बाद हलाक हो और जो जिन्दा रहे वह हिदायत की हुज्जत तमाम होने के बाद जिन्दा रहे और बेशक अल्लाह सुनने वाला ख़बरदार है।.
Ayah 43
إِذْ When يُرِيكَهُمُ you (where) shown them ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah فِى in مَنَامِكَ your dream قَلِيلًا (as) few, وَلَوْ and if أَرَىٰكَهُمْ He had shown them to you كَثِيرًا (as) many لَّفَشِلْتُمْ surely you would have lost courage وَلَتَنَٰزَعْتُمْ and surely you would have disputed فِى in ٱلْأَمْرِ the matter, وَلَٰكِنَّ but ٱللَّهَ Allah سَلَّمَ saved (you). إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower بِذَاتِ of what is in ٱلصُّدُورِ the breasts.
English - [Remember, O Muhammad], when Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but Allah saved [you from that]. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. .
हिंदी - जब अल्लाह ने तुम्हें सपने में उन्हें कम करके दिखलाया था और अगर उनको तुम्हें ज्यादा करते दिखलाता तुम ज़रूर हिम्मत हार जाते और लड़ाई के बारे में झगड़ने लगते मगर अल्लाह ने (बदनामी) से बचाया बेशक वह दिलों के हालात से वाकिफ़ है।.
Ayah 44
وَإِذْ And when يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ He showed them to you, إِذِ when ٱلْتَقَيْتُمْ you met - فِىٓ in أَعْيُنِكُمْ your eyes قَلِيلًا (as) few وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ and He made you (appear) as few فِىٓ in أَعْيُنِهِمْ their eyes لِيَقْضِىَ that might accomplish ٱللَّهُ Allah might accomplish أَمْرًا a matter كَانَ (that) was مَفْعُولًا (already) destined. وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah تُرْجَعُ return ٱلْأُمُورُ (all) the matters.
English - And [remember] when He showed them to you, when you met, as few in your eyes, and He made you [appear] as few in their eyes so that Allah might accomplish a matter already destined. And to Allah are [all] matters returned. .
हिंदी - और जब तुम लोगों ने मुठभेड़ की तो अल्लाह ने तुम्हारी आंखों में उनको बहुत कम करके दिखलाया और उनकी आँखों में तम्हें थोड़ा कर दिया ताकि अल्लाह को जो फ़ैसला मंजूर था वह पूरा हो जाए और अल्लाह ही के पास साले मामले लौट कर जाते हैं।.
Ayah 45
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe! إِذَا When لَقِيتُمْ you meet فِئَةً a force, فَٱثْبُتُوا۟ then be firm وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ and remember ٱللَّهَ Allah كَثِيرًا much, لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُفْلِحُونَ (be) successful.
English - O you who have believed, when you encounter a company [from the enemy forces], stand firm and remember Allah much that you may be successful. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमान वालो, जब तुम किसी जमाअत से मुठभेड़ करो तो अपने कदम जमाए रहो और अल्लाह को बहुत याद रहो ताकि तुम कामयाब हो जाओ।.
Ayah 46
وَأَطِيعُوا۟ And obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger, وَلَا and (do) not تَنَٰزَعُوا۟ dispute فَتَفْشَلُوا۟ lest you lose courage وَتَذْهَبَ and (would) depart رِيحُكُمْ your strength, وَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ and be patient. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah مَعَ (is) with ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ the patient ones.
English - And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह की और उसके रसूल की बात मानो और आपस में झगड़ा न करो वरना तुम हिम्मत हार जाओगे और तुम्हारी हवा उखड़ जाएगी और झेल जाओ बेशक अल्लाह सब्र करने वालों के साथ है।.
Ayah 47
وَلَا And (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be كَٱلَّذِينَ like those who خَرَجُوا۟ came forth مِن from دِيَٰرِهِم their homes بَطَرًا boastfully وَرِئَآءَ and showing off ٱلنَّاسِ (to) the people, وَيَصُدُّونَ and hinder (them) عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بِمَا of what يَعْمَلُونَ they do مُحِيطٌ (is) All-Encompassing.
English - And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And Allah is encompassing of what they do. .
हिंदी - और उन लोगों की तरह न हो जाओ जो इतराते हुए और लोगों के दिखलाने के वास्ते अपने घरों से निकल खड़े हुए और लोगों को अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोकते हैं और जो कुछ भी वह लोग करते हैं अल्लाह उसे घेरे हुए है।.
Ayah 48
وَإِذْ And when زَيَّنَ made fair-seeming لَهُمُ to them ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds وَقَالَ and he said, لَا "No (one) غَالِبَ (can) overcome لَكُمُ [to] you ٱلْيَوْمَ today مِنَ from ٱلنَّاسِ the people وَإِنِّى and indeed, I am جَارٌ a neighbor لَّكُمْ for you." فَلَمَّا But when تَرَآءَتِ came in sight ٱلْفِئَتَانِ the two forces نَكَصَ he turned away عَلَىٰ on عَقِبَيْهِ his heels وَقَالَ and said, إِنِّى "Indeed, I am بَرِىٓءٌ free مِّنكُمْ of you. إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I أَرَىٰ see مَا what لَا not تَرَوْنَ you see, إِنِّىٓ indeed, I أَخَافُ [I] fear ٱللَّهَ Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah شَدِيدُ (is) severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) the penalty."
English - And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in penalty." .
हिंदी - और जब शैतान ने उनकी करतूतों को सजा कर दिखाया और कहा कि लोगों में आज कोई ऐसा नहीं जो तुम पर गालिब आ सके और मै तुम्हारा मददगार हूं फिर जब दोनों लश्कर मुकाबिल हुए तो अपने उलटे पॉव भाग निकला और कहने लगा कि मै तो तुम से अलग हूं मै वह चीजें देख रहा हूं जो तुम्हें नहीं सूझती मैं तो खुदा से डरता हूं और खुदा बहुत सख्त अजाब वाला है।.
Ayah 49
إِذْ When يَقُولُ said ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ the hypocrites وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who - فِى in قُلُوبِهِم their hearts مَّرَضٌ (was) a disease, غَرَّ "(Had) deluded هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these (people) دِينُهُمْ their religion." وَمَن But whoever يَتَوَكَّلْ puts (his) trust عَلَى in ٱللَّهِ Allah فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise."
English - [Remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said, "Their religion has deluded those [Muslims]." But whoever relies upon Allah – then indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. .
हिंदी - (ये वक्त था) जब मुनाफिकीन और जिन लोगों के दिल में (कुफ्र का) मर्ज है कह रहे थे कि उन मुसलमानों को उनके दीन ने धोके में डाल रखा है (कि इतराते फिरते हैं हालॉकि जो अल्लाह पर भरोसा करता है (वह गालिब रहता है क्योंकि) अल्लाह तो यकीनन गालिब और हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 50
وَلَوْ And if تَرَىٰٓ you (could) see إِذْ when يَتَوَفَّى take away souls ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels, يَضْرِبُونَ striking وُجُوهَهُمْ their faces وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْ and their backs وَذُوقُوا۟ "Taste عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْحَرِيقِ (of) the Blazing Fire."
English - And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved… They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire. .
हिंदी - और काश (ऐ रसूल) तुम देखते जब फरिश्ते काफिरों की जान निकाल लेते थे और रूख और पुश्त (पीठ) पर कोड़े मारते थे और (कहते थे कि) अजाब जहन्नुम के मजे चखों।.
Ayah 51
ذَٰلِكَ That بِمَا (is) for what قَدَّمَتْ sent forth أَيْدِيكُمْ your hands. وَأَنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَيْسَ (is) not بِظَلَّٰمٍ unjust لِّلْعَبِيدِ to His slaves.
English - That is for what your hands have put forth [of evil] and because Allah is not ever unjust to His servants." .
हिंदी - ये सजा उसकी है जो तुम्हारे हाथों ने पहले किया कराया है और खुदा बन्दों पर हरगिज जुल्म नहीं किया करता है।.
Ayah 52
كَدَأْبِ Like (the) way ءَالِ (of) people فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who مِن (were) from قَبْلِهِمْ before them. كَفَرُوا۟ They disbelieved بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, فَأَخَذَهُمُ so seized them ٱللَّهُ Allah بِذُنُوبِهِمْ for their sins. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah قَوِىٌّ (is) All-Strong شَدِيدُ (and) severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) the penalty.
English - [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty. .
हिंदी - (उन लोगों की हालत) कौमे फिरऔन और उनके लोगों की सी है जो उन से पहले थे और अल्लाह की आयतों से इन्कार करते थे तो अल्लाह ने भी उनके गुनाहों की वजह से उन्हें ले डाला बेशक अल्लाह जबरदस्त और बहुत सख्त अजाब देने वाला है।.
Ayah 53
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّ (is) because ٱللَّهَ Allah لَمْ not يَكُ is مُغَيِّرًا One Who changes نِّعْمَةً a favor أَنْعَمَهَا which He had bestowed عَلَىٰ on قَوْمٍ a people حَتَّىٰ until يُغَيِّرُوا۟ they change مَا what بِأَنفُسِهِمْ (is) in themselves. وَأَنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearing, عَلِيمٌ All-Knowing.
English - That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. .
हिंदी - ये सजा इस वजह से (दी गई) कि जब कोई नेअमत खुदा किसी कौम को देता है तो जब तक कि वह लोग खुद अपनी कलबी हालत (न) बदलें खुदा भी उसे नहीं बदलेगा और अल्लाह तो यकीनी (सब की सुनता) और सब कुछ जानता है।.
Ayah 54
كَدَأْبِ Like (the) way ءَالِ (of) people فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who مِن (were) from قَبْلِهِمْ before them. كَذَّبُوا۟ They denied بِـَٔايَٰتِ (the) Signs رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord, فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم so We destroyed them بِذُنُوبِهِمْ for their sins وَأَغْرَقْنَآ and We drowned ءَالَ (the) people فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun وَكُلٌّ and (they) all كَانُوا۟ were ظَٰلِمِينَ wrongdoers.
English - [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - (उन लोगों की हालत) कौम फिरऔन और उन लोगों की सी है जो उनसे पहले थे और अपने परवरदिगार की आयतों को झुठलाते थे तो हमने भी उनके गुनाहों की वजह से उनको हलाक कर डाला और फिरऔन की कौम को डुबा मारा और (ये) सब के सब जालिम थे।.
Ayah 55
إِنَّ Indeed, شَرَّ (the) worst ٱلدَّوَآبِّ (of) the living creatures عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, فَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe.
English - Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe – .
हिंदी - इसमें शक नहीं कि अल्लाह के नज़दीक जानवरों में कुफ्फार सबसे बदतरीन तो (बावजूद इसके) फिर ईमान नहीं लाते।.
Ayah 56
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who - عَٰهَدتَّ you made a covenant مِنْهُمْ with them ثُمَّ then يَنقُضُونَ they break عَهْدَهُمْ their covenant فِى [in] كُلِّ every مَرَّةٍ time, وَهُمْ and they لَا (do) not يَتَّقُونَ fear (Allah).
English - The ones with whom you made a treaty but then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear Allah. .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल जिन लोगों से तुम ने एहद व पैमान किया था फिर वह लोग अपने एहद को हर बार तोड़ डालते है और नहीं डरते।.
Ayah 57
فَإِمَّا So if تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ you gain dominance over them فِى in ٱلْحَرْبِ the war, فَشَرِّدْ disperse بِهِم by them مَّنْ (those) who خَلْفَهُمْ (are) behind them, لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَذَّكَّرُونَ take heed.
English - So if you, [O Muhammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded. .
हिंदी - तो अगर वह लड़ाई में तुम्हारे हाथे चढ़ जाएँ तो (ऐसी सख्त गोश्माली दो कि) उनके साथ साथ उन लोगों का तो अगर वह लड़ाई में तुम्हारे हत्थे चढ़ जाएं तो (ऐसी सजा दो की) उनके साथ उन लोगों को भी तितिर बितिर कर दो जो उन के पुश्त पर हो ताकि ये इबरत हासिल करें।.
Ayah 58
وَإِمَّا And if تَخَافَنَّ you fear مِن from قَوْمٍ a people خِيَانَةً betrayal فَٱنۢبِذْ throw back إِلَيْهِمْ to them عَلَىٰ on سَوَآءٍ equal (terms). إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ love ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ the traitors.
English - If you [have reason to] fear from a people betrayal, throw [their treaty] back to them, [putting you] on equal terms. Indeed, Allah does not like traitors. .
हिंदी - और अगर तुम्हें किसी कौम की ख्यानत (एहद शिकनी(वादा खिलाफी)) का खौफ हो तो तुम भी बराबर उनका एहद उन्हीं की तरफ से फेंक मारो (एहदो शिकन के साथ एहद शिकनी करो अल्लाह हरगिज दगाबाजों को दोस्त नहीं रखता।.
Ayah 59
وَلَا And (let) not يَحْسَبَنَّ think ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve سَبَقُوٓا۟ they can outstrip. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they لَا (can) not يُعْجِزُونَ escape.
English - And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah]. .
हिंदी - और कुफ्फार ये न ख्याल करें कि वह (मुसलमानों से) आगे बढ़ निकले (क्योंकि) वह हरगिज (मुसलमानों को) हरा नहीं सकते।.
Ayah 60
وَأَعِدُّوا۟ And prepare لَهُم for them مَّا whatever ٱسْتَطَعْتُم you able (to) مِّن of قُوَّةٍ force وَمِن and of رِّبَاطِ tethered ٱلْخَيْلِ horses تُرْهِبُونَ (to) terrify بِهِۦ therewith عَدُوَّ (the) enemy ٱللَّهِ (the) enemy, وَعَدُوَّكُمْ and your enemy وَءَاخَرِينَ and others مِن from دُونِهِمْ besides them, لَا not تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ (do) you know them ٱللَّهُ (but) Allah يَعْلَمُهُمْ knows them. وَمَا And whatever تُنفِقُوا۟ you spend مِن from شَىْءٍ (any) thing فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah يُوَفَّ it will be fully repaid إِلَيْكُمْ to you, وَأَنتُمْ and you لَا (will) not تُظْلَمُونَ be wronged.
English - And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - और (मुसलमानों तुम कुफ्फार के मुकाबले के) वास्ते जहाँ तक तुमसे हो सके (अपने बाजू के) जोर से और बॅधे हुए घोड़े से लड़ाई का सामान मुहय्या करो इससे अल्लाह के दुश्मन और अपने दुश्मन और उसके सिवा दूसरे लोगों पर भी अपनी धाक बढ़ा लेगें जिन्हें तुम नहीं जानते हो मगर खुदा तो उनको जानता है और खुदा की राह में तुम जो कुछ भी खर्च करोगें वह तुम पूरा पूरा भर पाओगें और तुम पर किसी तरह जुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा।.
Ayah 61
وَإِن And if جَنَحُوا۟ they incline لِلسَّلْمِ to peace, فَٱجْنَحْ then you (also) incline لَهَا to it, وَتَوَكَّلْ and put (your) trust عَلَى in ٱللَّهِ Allah. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, هُوَ He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) All-Hearer, ٱلْعَلِيمُ All-Knower.
English - And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing. .
हिंदी - और अगर ये कुफ्फार सुलह की तरफ माएल हो तो तुम भी उसकी तरफ माएल हो और खुदा पर भरोसा रखो (क्योंकि) वह बेशक (सब कुछ) सुनता जानता है।.
Ayah 62
وَإِن But if يُرِيدُوٓا۟ they intend أَن to يَخْدَعُوكَ deceive you, فَإِنَّ then indeed, حَسْبَكَ is sufficient for you, ٱللَّهُ Allah. هُوَ He ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَيَّدَكَ supported you بِنَصْرِهِۦ with His help وَبِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ and with the believers
English - But if they intend to deceive you – then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers .
हिंदी - और अगर वह लोग तुम्हें फरेब देना चाहे तो (कुछ परवा नहीं) खुदा तुम्हारे वास्ते यकीनी काफी है-(ऐ रसूल) वही तो वह (खुदा) है जिसने अपनी खास मदद और मोमिनीन से तुम्हारी ताईद की।.
Ayah 63
وَأَلَّفَ And He (has) put affection بَيْنَ between قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts. لَوْ If أَنفَقْتَ you (had) spent مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth جَمِيعًا all مَّآ not أَلَّفْتَ (could) you (have) put affection بَيْنَ between قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts, وَلَٰكِنَّ but ٱللَّهَ Allah أَلَّفَ (has) put affection بَيْنَهُمْ between them. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise. .
हिंदी - और उसी ने उन मुसलमानों के दिलों में बाहम ऐसी उलफत पैदा कर दी कि अगर तुम जो कुछ जमीन में है सब का सब खर्च कर डालते तो भी उनके दिलो में ऐसी उलफत पैदा न कर सकते मगर अल्लाह ही था जिसने बाहम उलफत पैदा की बेशक वह जबरदस्त हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 64
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّبِىُّ Prophet! حَسْبُكَ Sufficient for you ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah وَمَنِ and whoever ٱتَّبَعَكَ follows you مِنَ of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
English - O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers. .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल तुमको बस खुदा और जो मोमिनीन तुम्हारे ताबेए फरमान (फरमाबरदार) है काफी है।.
Ayah 65
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّبِىُّ Prophet! حَرِّضِ Urge ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers عَلَى to ٱلْقِتَالِ [the] fight. إِن If يَكُن (there) are مِّنكُمْ among you عِشْرُونَ twenty صَٰبِرُونَ steadfast يَغْلِبُوا۟ they will overcome مِا۟ئَتَيْنِ two hundred. وَإِن And if يَكُن (there) are مِّنكُم among you مِّا۟ئَةٌ a hundred, يَغْلِبُوٓا۟ they will overcome أَلْفًا a thousand مِّنَ of ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, بِأَنَّهُمْ because they قَوْمٌ (are) a people لَّا (who do) not يَفْقَهُونَ understand.
English - O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand. .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल तुम मोमिनीन को जिहाद के वास्ते आमादा करो (वह घबराए नहीं खुदा उनसे वायदा करता है कि) अगर तुम लोगों में के साबित कदम रहने वाले बीस भी होगें तो वह दो सौ (काफिरों) पर गालिब आ जायेगे और अगर तुम लोगों में से साबित कदम रहने वालों सौ होगें तो हजार (काफिरों) पर गालिब आ जाएँगें इस सबब से कि ये लोग ना समझ हैं।.
Ayah 66
ٱلْـَٰٔنَ Now خَفَّفَ has (been) lightened ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah عَنكُمْ for you, وَعَلِمَ and He knows أَنَّ that فِيكُمْ in you ضَعْفًا (there) is weakness. فَإِن So if يَكُن (there) are مِّنكُم among you مِّا۟ئَةٌ a hundred صَابِرَةٌ steadfast, يَغْلِبُوا۟ they will overcome مِا۟ئَتَيْنِ two hundred. وَإِن And if يَكُن (there) are مِّنكُمْ among you أَلْفٌ a thousand, يَغْلِبُوٓا۟ they will overcome أَلْفَيْنِ two thousand بِإِذْنِ with (the) permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah مَعَ (is) with ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ the steadfast.
English - Now, Allah has lightened [the hardship] for you, and He knows that among you is weakness. So if there are from you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a thousand, they will overcome two thousand by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the steadfast. .
हिंदी - अब अल्लाह ने तुम से (अपने हुक्म की सख्ती में) तख्फीफ (कमी) कर दी और देख लिया कि तुम में यकीनन कमजोरी है तो अगर तुम लोगों में से साबित कदम रहने वाले सौ होगें तो दो सौ (काफिरों) पर गालिब रहेंगें और अगर तुम लोगों में से (ऐसे) एक हजार होगें तो खुदा के हुक्म से दो हजार (काफिरों) पर गालिब रहेंगे और (जंग की तकलीफों को) झेल जाने वालों का खुदा साथी है।.
Ayah 67
مَا Not كَانَ is لِنَبِىٍّ for a Prophet أَن that يَكُونَ (there) should be لَهُۥٓ for him أَسْرَىٰ prisoners of war حَتَّىٰ until يُثْخِنَ he has battled strenuously فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land. تُرِيدُونَ You desire عَرَضَ (the) commodities ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَٱللَّهُ but Allah يُرِيدُ desires ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ (for you) the Hereafter. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah's enemies] in the land. Some Muslims desire the commodities of this world, but Allah desires [for you] the Hereafter. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. .
हिंदी - कोई नबी जब कि रूए जमीन पर (काफिरों का) खून न बहाए उसके यहाँ कैदियों का रहना मुनासिब नहीं तुम लोग तो दुनिया के साजो सामान के ख्वाहॉ (चाहने वाले) हो औॅर अल्लाह (तुम्हारे लिए) आखिरत की (भलाई) का ख्वाहॉ है और खुदा जबरदस्त हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 68
لَّوْلَا Had not كِتَٰبٌ an ordainment مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah سَبَقَ preceded, لَمَسَّكُمْ surely (would) have touched you فِيمَآ for what أَخَذْتُمْ you took - عَذَابٌ a punishment عَظِيمٌ great.
English - If not for a decree from Allah that preceded, you would have been touched for what you took by a great punishment. .
हिंदी - और अगर खुदा की तरफ से पहले ही (उसकी) माफी का हुक्म आ चुका होता तो तुमने जो (बदर के कैदियों के छोड़ देने के बदले) फिदिया लिया था।.
Ayah 69
فَكُلُوا۟ So eat مِمَّا from what غَنِمْتُمْ you got as war booty - حَلَٰلًا lawful طَيِّبًا (and) good, وَٱتَّقُوا۟ and fear ٱللَّهَ Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - So consume what you have taken of war booty [as being] lawful and good, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - उसकी सजा में तुम पर बड़ा अजाब नाजिल होकर रहता तो (खैर जो हुआ सो हुआ) अब तुमने जो माल गनीमत हासिल किया है उसे खाओ (और तुम्हारे लिए) हलाल तय्यब है और खुदा से डरते रहो बेशक खुदा बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 70
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّبِىُّ Prophet! قُل Say لِّمَن to whoever فِىٓ (is) in أَيْدِيكُم your hands مِّنَ of ٱلْأَسْرَىٰٓ the captives, إِن "If يَعْلَمِ knows ٱللَّهُ Allah فِى in قُلُوبِكُمْ your hearts خَيْرًا any good, يُؤْتِكُمْ He will give you خَيْرًا better مِّمَّآ than what أُخِذَ was taken مِنكُمْ from you, وَيَغْفِرْ and He will forgive لَكُمْ you. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful."
English - O Prophet, say to whoever is in your hands of the captives, "If Allah knows [any] good in your hearts, He will give you [something] better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल जो कैदी तुम्हारे कब्जे में है उनसे कह दो कि अगर तुम्हारे दिलों में नेकी देखेगा तो जो (माल) तुम से छीन लिया गया है उससे कहीं बेहतर तुम्हें अता फरमाएगा और तुम्हें बख्श भी देगा और खुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 71
وَإِن But if يُرِيدُوا۟ they intend خِيَانَتَكَ (to) betray you فَقَدْ certainly خَانُوا۟ they have betrayed ٱللَّهَ Allah مِن from قَبْلُ before. فَأَمْكَنَ So He gave (you) power مِنْهُمْ over them. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - But if they intend to betray you – then they have already betrayed Allah before, and He empowered [you] over them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - और अगर ये लोग तुमसे फरेब करना चाहते है तो अल्लाह से पहले ही फरेब कर चुके हैं तो (उसकी सजा में) अल्लाह ने उन पर तुम्हें काबू दे दिया और अल्लाह तो बड़ा वाकिफकार हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 72
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَهَاجَرُوا۟ and emigrated وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ and strove hard بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَاوَوا۟ gave shelter وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟ and helped أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those - بَعْضُهُمْ some of them أَوْلِيَآءُ (are) allies بَعْضٍ (of) another. وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَلَمْ and (did) not يُهَاجِرُوا۟ emigrate, مَا (it is) not لَكُم for you مِّن (of) وَلَٰيَتِهِم their protection مِّن (in) شَىْءٍ (in) anything, حَتَّىٰ until يُهَاجِرُوا۟ they emigrate. وَإِنِ And if ٱسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ they seek your help فِى in ٱلدِّينِ the religion, فَعَلَيْكُمُ then upon you ٱلنَّصْرُ (is to) help them إِلَّا except عَلَىٰ against قَوْمٍۭ a people بَيْنَكُمْ between you وَبَيْنَهُم and between them مِّيثَٰقٌ (is) a treaty. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do بَصِيرٌ (is) All-Seer.
English - Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided – they are allies of one another. But those who believed and did not emigrate – for you there is no guardianship of them until they emigrate. And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help, except against a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty. And Allah is Seeing of what you do. .
हिंदी - जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और हिजरत की और अपने अपने जान माल से खुदा की राह में जिहाद किया और जिन लोगों ने (हिजरत करने वालों को जगह दी और हर (तरह) उनकी खबर गीरी (मदद) की यही लोग एक दूसरे के (बाहम) सरपरस्त दोस्त हैं और जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और हिजरत नहीं की तो तुम लोगों को उनकी सरपरस्ती से कुछ सरोकार नहीं-यहाँ तक कि वह हिजरत एख्तियार करें और (हॉ) मगर दीनी अम्र में तुम से मदद के ख्वाहॉ हो तो तुम पर (उनकी मदद करना लाजिम व वाजिब है मगर उन लोगों के मुकाबले में (नहीं) जिनमें और तुममें बाहम (सुलह का) एहदो पैमान है और जो कुछ तुम करते हो खुदा (सबको) देख रहा है।.
Ayah 73
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, بَعْضُهُمْ some of them أَوْلِيَآءُ (are) allies بَعْضٍ (to) another. إِلَّا If not تَفْعَلُوهُ you do it, تَكُن (there) will be فِتْنَةٌ oppression فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَفَسَادٌ and corruption كَبِيرٌ great.
English - And those who disbelieved are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption. .
हिंदी - और जो लोग काफिर हैं वह भी (बाहम) एक दूसरे के सरपरस्त हैं अगर तुम (इस तरह) वायदा न करोगे तो रूए जमीन पर फितना (फसाद) बरपा हो जाएगा और बड़ा फसाद होगा।.
Ayah 74
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَهَاجَرُوا۟ and emigrated وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ and strove hard فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَاوَوا۟ gave shelter وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟ and helped, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those - هُمُ they (are) ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers حَقًّا (in) truth. لَّهُم For them مَّغْفِرَةٌ (is) forgiveness وَرِزْقٌ and a provision كَرِيمٌ noble.
English - But those who have believed and emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided – it is they who are the believers, truly. For them is forgiveness and noble provision. .
हिंदी - और जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और हिजरत की और अल्लाह की राह में लड़े भिड़े और जिन लोगों ने (ऐसे नाजुक वक्त में मुहाजिरीन को जगह ही और उनकी हर तरह खबरगीरी (मदद) की यही लोग सच्चे ईमानदार हैं उन्हीं के वास्ते मगफिरत और इज्जत व आबरु वाली रोजी है।.
Ayah 75
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed مِنۢ from بَعْدُ afterwards, وَهَاجَرُوا۟ and emigrated وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ and strove hard مَعَكُمْ with you, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those مِنكُمْ (are) of you. وَأُو۟لُوا۟ But those ٱلْأَرْحَامِ (of) blood relationship, بَعْضُهُمْ some of them أَوْلَىٰ (are) nearer بِبَعْضٍ to another فِى in كِتَٰبِ (the) Book ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِكُلِّ of every شَىْءٍ thing عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower.
English - And those who believed after [the initial emigration] and emigrated and fought with you – they are of you. But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things. .
हिंदी - और जिन लोगों ने (सुलह हुदैबिया के) बाद ईमान कुबूल किया और हिजरत की और तुम्हारे साथ मिलकर जिहाद किया वह लोग भी तुम्हीं में से हैं और साहबाने कराबत अल्लाह की किताब में बाहम एक दूसरे के (बनिस्बत औरों के) ज्यादा हकदार हैं बेशक अल्लाह हर चीज से खूब वाकिफ हैं।.
