Ayah 1
وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ By the ones sent forth, عُرْفًا one after another,
English - By those [winds] sent forth in gusts .
हिंदी - क़सम है उन हवाओं की जो फ़ायदा पहुंचाने के लिए भेजी जाती हैं।.
Ayah 2
فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ And the winds that blow عَصْفًا violently,
English - And the winds that blow violently .
हिंदी - फिर जो तूफ़ानी चाल से चलती हैं।.
Ayah 3
وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ And the ones that scatter نَشْرًا far and wide,
English - And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] .
हिंदी - और जो फैलाने वाली हैं।.
Ayah 4
فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ And those who separate فَرْقًا (by the) Criterion,
English - And those [angels] who bring criterion .
हिंदी - फिर जो फाड़ कर जुदा कर देने वाली हैं।.
Ayah 5
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ And those who bring down ذِكْرًا (the) Reminder,
English - And those [angels] who deliver a message .
हिंदी - फिर जो याददिहानी कराती हैं ।.
Ayah 6
عُذْرًا (As) justification أَوْ or نُذْرًا warning,
English - As justification or warning, .
हिंदी - दोष ठहराने को, या डराने को।.
Ayah 7
إِنَّمَا Indeed, what تُوعَدُونَ you are promised لَوَٰقِعٌ will surely occur.
English - Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. .
हिंदी - बेशक जिस चीज़ का तुमसे वादा किया जाता है, वह ज़रूर होकर रहेगी।.
Ayah 8
فَإِذَا So when ٱلنُّجُومُ the stars طُمِسَتْ are obliterated,
English - So when the stars are obliterated .
हिंदी - फिर जब तारे माँद पड़ जाएंगे।.
Ayah 9
وَإِذَا And when ٱلسَّمَآءُ the heaven فُرِجَتْ is cleft asunder,
English - And when the heaven is opened .
हिंदी - और जब आसमान फट जाएगा ।.
Ayah 10
وَإِذَا And when ٱلْجِبَالُ the mountains نُسِفَتْ are blown away,
English - And when the mountains are blown away .
हिंदी - और जब पहाड़ों को चूर चूर करके उड़ा दिया जाएगा।.
Ayah 11
وَإِذَا And when ٱلرُّسُلُ the Messengers أُقِّتَتْ are gathered to their appointed time.
English - And when the messengers' time has come… .
हिंदी - और जब रसूलों का समय निर्धारित कर दिया जाएगा।.
Ayah 12
لِأَىِّ For what يَوْمٍ Day أُجِّلَتْ are (these) postponed?
English - For what Day was it postponed? .
हिंदी - किस दिन के लिए इसे टाला गया?.
Ayah 13
لِيَوْمِ For (the) Day ٱلْفَصْلِ (of) Judgment.
English - For the Day of Judgement. .
हिंदी - फै़सले के दिन के लिए।.
Ayah 14
وَمَآ And what أَدْرَىٰكَ will make you know مَا what يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلْفَصْلِ (of) the Judgment?
English - And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? .
हिंदी - और तुम्हें क्या ख़बर कि फै़सले का दिन है क्या?.
Ayah 15
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 16
أَلَمْ Did not نُهْلِكِ We destroy ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ the former (people)?
English - Did We not destroy the former peoples? .
हिंदी - क्या हमने पहलों को बर्बाद नहीं किया ?.
Ayah 17
ثُمَّ Then نُتْبِعُهُمُ We follow them up ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ (with) the later ones.
English - Then We will follow them with the later ones. .
हिंदी - फिर उन्हीं के पीछे बाद वालों को लगाते रहे।.
Ayah 18
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَفْعَلُ We deal بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ with the criminals.
English - Thus do We deal with the criminals. .
हिंदी - हम अपराधियों के साथ इसी तरह करते हैं।.
Ayah 19
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 20
أَلَمْ Did not نَخْلُقكُّم We create you مِّن from مَّآءٍ a water مَّهِينٍ despicable?
English - Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? .
हिंदी - क्या हम ने तुम्हें तुच्छ पानी से पैदा नहीं किया?.
Ayah 21
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ Then We placed it فِى in قَرَارٍ an abode مَّكِينٍ safe
English - And We placed it in a firm lodging .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने उसे एक सुरक्षित जगह में रख दिया ।.
Ayah 22
إِلَىٰ For قَدَرٍ a period مَّعْلُومٍ known.
English - For a known extent. .
हिंदी - एक मालूम समय तक ।.
Ayah 23
فَقَدَرْنَا So We measured, فَنِعْمَ and Best ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ (are We to) measure!
English - And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. .
हिंदी - हम ने अन्दाज़ा ठहराया तो हम क्या ही अच्छा अन्दाज़ा ठहराने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 24
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 25
أَلَمْ Have not نَجْعَلِ We made ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth كِفَاتًا a receptacle
English - Have We not made the earth a container .
हिंदी - क्या हमने ज़मीन को समेटने वाला नहीं बनाया।.
Ayah 26
أَحْيَآءً (For the) living وَأَمْوَٰتًا and (the) dead,
English - Of the living and the dead? .
हिंदी - ज़िन्दों के लिए और मुर्दों के लिए भी ।.
Ayah 27
وَجَعَلْنَا And We made فِيهَا therein رَوَٰسِىَ firmly set mountains شَٰمِخَٰتٍ lofty, وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم and We gave you to drink مَّآءً water - فُرَاتًا sweet?
English - And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उस में ऊँचे ऊँचे पहाड़ रखे और तुम्हें मीठा पानी पिलाया ।.
Ayah 28
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 29
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ "Proceed إِلَىٰ to مَا what كُنتُم you used to بِهِۦ in it تُكَذِّبُونَ deny,
English - [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. .
हिंदी - चलो अब उसी तरफ़ जिस को तुम झुठलाया करते थे।.
Ayah 30
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ Proceed إِلَىٰ to ظِلٍّ a shadow ذِى having ثَلَٰثِ three شُعَبٍ columns
English - Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns .
हिंदी - चलो तीन शाखाओं वाली छाया की तरफ़।.
Ayah 31
لَّا No ظَلِيلٍ cool shade وَلَا and not يُغْنِى availing مِنَ against ٱللَّهَبِ the flame.
English - [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." .
हिंदी - जिसमें न छाँव है और न ही आग की लपट से बचाएगी।.
Ayah 32
إِنَّهَا Indeed, it تَرْمِى throws up بِشَرَرٍ sparks كَٱلْقَصْرِ as the fortress,
English - Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, .
हिंदी - बेशक वह महल जैसी चिंगारियाँ फेंकती है।.
Ayah 33
كَأَنَّهُۥ As if they (were) جِمَٰلَتٌ camels صُفْرٌ yellow.
English - As if they were yellowish [black] camels. .
हिंदी - मानो की पीले उँट हैं।.
Ayah 34
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 35
هَٰذَا This يَوْمُ (is) a Day لَا not يَنطِقُونَ they will speak,
English - This is a Day they will not speak, .
हिंदी - उस दिन वह नहीं बोलेंगे।.
Ayah 36
وَلَا And not يُؤْذَنُ will it be permitted لَهُمْ for them فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ to make excuses.
English - Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. .
हिंदी - और न उन्हें इजाज़त दी जाएगी कि वह कोई बहाना बनाएं।.
Ayah 37
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 38
هَٰذَا This يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلْفَصْلِ (of) Judgment; جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ We have gathered you وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ and the former (people).
English - This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. .
हिंदी - यह फ़ैसले का दिन है, हम ने तुम्हें और पहलों को इकट्ठा कर दिया है।.
Ayah 39
فَإِن So if كَانَ is لَكُمْ for you كَيْدٌ a plan, فَكِيدُونِ then plan against Me.
English - So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. .
हिंदी - तो अगर तुम्हारे पास कोई चाल है तो मेरे विरुद्ध चल कर देखो।.
Ayah 40
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 41
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous فِى (will be) in ظِلَٰلٍ shades وَعُيُونٍ and springs,
English - Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs .
हिंदी - बेशक डर रखने वाले लोग छाँव और चश्मों में होंगे।.
Ayah 42
وَفَوَٰكِهَ And fruits مِمَّا from what يَشْتَهُونَ they desire.
English - And fruits from whatever they desire, .
हिंदी - और फलों में जो वह चाहेंगे।.
Ayah 43
كُلُوا۟ "Eat وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ and drink هَنِيٓـًٔۢا (in) satisfaction بِمَا for what كُنتُمْ you used to تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - [Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." .
हिंदी - खाओ और पियो मज़े से उस के बदले जो तुम करते थे।.
Ayah 44
إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus نَجْزِى reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम इसी तरह अच्छाई करने वालों को बदला देते हैं।.
Ayah 45
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 46
كُلُوا۟ Eat وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ and enjoy yourselves قَلِيلًا a little; إِنَّكُم indeed, you مُّجْرِمُونَ (are) criminals."
English - [O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals. .
हिंदी - खाओ और थोड़ा सा मज़े कर लो बेशक तुम लोग मुजरिम हो।.
Ayah 47
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 48
وَإِذَا And when قِيلَ it is said لَهُمُ to them, ٱرْكَعُوا۟ "Bow," لَا not يَرْكَعُونَ they bow.
English - And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow. .
हिंदी - और जब उन से कहा जाता है कि तुम रूकूअ़ करो तो वह रूकूअ़ नहीं करते।.
Ayah 49
وَيْلٌ Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ to the deniers.
English - Woe, that Day, to the deniers. .
हिंदी - तबाही है उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की।.
Ayah 50
فَبِأَىِّ Then in what حَدِيثٍۭ statement بَعْدَهُۥ after it يُؤْمِنُونَ will they believe?
English - Then in what statement after the Qur’an will they believe? .
हिंदी - तो इस के बाद वह कौन सी बात पर ईमान लाएंगे।.
