Ayah 1
إِنَّآ Indeed, We أَرْسَلْنَا [We] sent نُوحًا Nuh إِلَىٰ to قَوْمِهِۦٓ his people, أَنْ that أَنذِرْ "Warn قَوْمَكَ your people مِن from قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يَأْتِيَهُمْ comes to them عَذَابٌ a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful."
English - Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment." .
हिंदी - हम ने नूह को उस की क़ौम की तरफ भेजा कि डराओ अपनी क़ौम को, इस से पहले कि उन पर दर्दनाक अज़ाब आजाए।.
Ayah 2
قَالَ He said, يَٰقَوْمِ "O my people! إِنِّى Indeed, I am لَكُمْ to you نَذِيرٌ a warner مُّبِينٌ clear.
English - He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner, .
हिंदी - उसने कहाए ऐ मेरी क़ौम मैं तो तुम्हें साफ़ साफ़ डराने वाला हैूं।.
Ayah 3
أَنِ That ٱعْبُدُوا۟ Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah, وَٱتَّقُوهُ and fear Him وَأَطِيعُونِ and obey me.
English - [Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह की इबादत करो और उस से डरो और मेरी आज्ञा मानो।.
Ayah 4
يَغْفِرْ He will forgive لَكُم for you مِّن [of] ذُنُوبِكُمْ your sins وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ and give you respite إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى specified. إِنَّ Indeed, أَجَلَ (the) term, ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, إِذَا when جَآءَ it comes لَا not يُؤَخَّرُ is delayed, لَوْ if كُنتُمْ you تَعْلَمُونَ know."
English - Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.’ ” .
हिंदी - वह तुमहारे गुनाहों को माफ़ करेगा और तुम्हें एक ख़ास वक़्त तक बाक़ी रखेगाए बेशक अल्लाह का नियत किया हुआ समय जब आजाएगाए तो वह टलेगा नहींए काश तुम जानते।.
Ayah 5
قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord! إِنِّى Indeed, I دَعَوْتُ invited قَوْمِى my people لَيْلًا night وَنَهَارًا and day.
English - He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day. .
हिंदी - उस ने कहा कि ऐ मेरे रब बेशक मैंने तो बुलाया अपनी क़ौम को रात और दिन।.
Ayah 6
فَلَمْ But not يَزِدْهُمْ increased them دُعَآءِىٓ my invitation إِلَّا except فِرَارًا (in) flight.
English - But my invitation increased them not except in flight. .
हिंदी - तो मेरे बुलाने ने उनके भागने में और बढ़ावा किया।.
Ayah 7
وَإِنِّى And indeed, I كُلَّمَا every time, دَعَوْتُهُمْ I invited them لِتَغْفِرَ that You may forgive لَهُمْ them, جَعَلُوٓا۟ they put أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ their fingers فِىٓ in ءَاذَانِهِمْ their ears وَٱسْتَغْشَوْا۟ and covered themselves ثِيَابَهُمْ (with) their garments وَأَصَرُّوا۟ and persisted وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ and were arrogant ٱسْتِكْبَارًا (with) pride.
English - And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance. .
हिंदी - और जब भी मैं ने उनको बुलाया ताकी तू उन्हें माफ़ कर दे, उन्होंने कानों में उंगलियाँ दाल ली और अपने कपड़ों से खुद को ढाँप लिया और अड़ गए और उन्हों ने बड़ा घमंड किया।.
Ayah 8
ثُمَّ Then إِنِّى indeed, I دَعَوْتُهُمْ invited them جِهَارًا publicly.
English - Then I invited them publicly. .
हिंदी - फिर मैं ने उन को खुल्लमखुल्ला बुलाया ।.
Ayah 9
ثُمَّ Then إِنِّىٓ indeed, I أَعْلَنتُ announced لَهُمْ to them وَأَسْرَرْتُ and I confided لَهُمْ to them إِسْرَارًا secretly,
English - Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly .
हिंदी - फिर में ने खुले तौर पर भी प्रचार किया और चुपके चुपके भी समझाया।.
Ayah 10
فَقُلْتُ Then I said, ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ "Ask forgiveness رَبَّكُمْ (from) your Lord. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He كَانَ is غَفَّارًا Oft-Forgiving.
English - And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. .
हिंदी - मैं ने कहा अपने रब से माफ़ी माँगोए बेशक वह माफ़ करने वाला है।.
Ayah 11
يُرْسِلِ He will send down ٱلسَّمَآءَ (rain from) the sky عَلَيْكُم upon you مِّدْرَارًا (in) abundance,
English - He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers .
हिंदी - वह तुम पर आसमान से मूसलाधार पानी बरसाएगा।.
Ayah 12
وَيُمْدِدْكُم And provide you بِأَمْوَٰلٍ with wealth وَبَنِينَ and children, وَيَجْعَل and make لَّكُمْ for you جَنَّٰتٍ gardens وَيَجْعَل and make لَّكُمْ for you أَنْهَٰرًا rivers.
English - And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. .
हिंदी - और माल और बेटों से तुम्हें बढ़ोतरी प्रदान करेगा, और तुम्हारे लिए बाग़, और तुम्हारे लिए नहरें जारी करेगा ।.
Ayah 13
مَّا What لَكُمْ (is) for you, لَا not تَرْجُونَ you attribute لِلَّهِ to Allah وَقَارًا grandeur?
English - What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur .
हिंदी - तुम्हें क्या हो गया है कि तुम खुदा के गौरव से आशा नहीं रखते।.
Ayah 14
وَقَدْ And indeed, خَلَقَكُمْ He created you أَطْوَارًا (in) stages.
English - While He has created you in stages? .
हिंदी - हालाँकि उसी ने तुमहंे एक पड़ाव से दूसरे पड़ाव में पैदा किया है ।.
Ayah 15
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَوْا۟ you see كَيْفَ how خَلَقَ did create ٱللَّهُ Allah سَبْعَ (the) seven سَمَٰوَٰتٍ heavens طِبَاقًا (in) layers,
English - Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers .
हिंदी - क्या तुमने देखा नहीं कि अल्लाह ने किस तरह सात आसमान को तले उपर तले बनाया।.
Ayah 16
وَجَعَلَ And made ٱلْقَمَرَ the moon فِيهِنَّ therein نُورًا a light وَجَعَلَ and made ٱلشَّمْسَ the sun سِرَاجًا a lamp?
English - And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp? .
हिंदी - और उसी ने उसमें चाँद को रौशनी के लिएबनाया, और सूरज को रौशन चिराग़ बनाया ।.
Ayah 17
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah أَنۢبَتَكُم has caused you to grow مِّنَ from ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth نَبَاتًا (as) a growth.
English - And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह ही ने तुम्हें ज़मीन से पौदे के प्रकार पैदा कीया है।.
Ayah 18
ثُمَّ Then يُعِيدُكُمْ He will return you فِيهَا into it وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ and bring you forth, إِخْرَاجًا (a new) bringing forth.
English - Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction. .
हिंदी - फिर वह तुम्हें उस में लौटाएगा और तुम्हें उस से दूबारा निकालेगा ।.
Ayah 19
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth بِسَاطًا an expanse,
English - And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह ने ज़मीन को तुम्हारे लिए बिछौना बनाया।.
Ayah 20
لِّتَسْلُكُوا۟ That you may go along مِنْهَا therein سُبُلًا (in) paths فِجَاجًا wide."
English - That you may follow therein roads of passage.' " .
हिंदी - ताकि तुम उसके खुले रास्तों पर चलो फिरो।.
Ayah 21
قَالَ Said نُوحٌ Nuh, رَّبِّ "My Lord! إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they عَصَوْنِى disobeyed me وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ and followed مَن (the one) who, لَّمْ (did) not يَزِدْهُ increase him مَالُهُۥ his wealth, وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ and his children إِلَّا except خَسَارًا (in) loss.
English - Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. .
हिंदी - नूह ने कहा कि मेरे रबए बेशक उन्हों ने मेरी नाफ़रमानी की और उस की पैरवी की जिस ने उन के माल और औलाद में कोई ज़्यादती नहीं की सिवाए नुक़सान के।.
Ayah 22
وَمَكَرُوا۟ And they have planned, مَكْرًا a plan كُبَّارًا great.
English - And they conspired an immense conspiracy. .
हिंदी - और उन्हों ने बड़ी बड़ी चालें चलीं ।.
Ayah 23
وَقَالُوا۟ And they said, لَا "(Do) not تَذَرُنَّ leave ءَالِهَتَكُمْ your gods, وَلَا and (do) not تَذَرُنَّ leave وَدًّا Wadd وَلَا and not سُوَاعًا Suwa وَلَا and not يَغُوثَ Yaguth وَيَعُوقَ and Yauq وَنَسْرًا and Nasr."
English - And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa‘ or Yaghūth and Ya‘ūq and Nasr. .
हिंदी - और उन्हों ने कहा तुम हरगिज़ न छोड़ना अपने पूज्यों को और न छोड़ना, वद्द, और न सुवाअ, और न यगूस, और यऊक़, और न नस्र को।.
Ayah 24
وَقَدْ And indeed, أَضَلُّوا۟ they have led astray كَثِيرًا many. وَلَا And not تَزِدِ increase ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers إِلَّا except ضَلَٰلًا (in) error."
English - And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." .
हिंदी - और उन्हों ने बहुतों को गुमराह किया है, और तू ज़ालिमों की गुमराही को और बढ़ा दे ।.
Ayah 25
مِّمَّا Because of خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِهِمْ their sins أُغْرِقُوا۟ they were drowned, فَأُدْخِلُوا۟ then made to enter نَارًا (the) Fire, فَلَمْ and not يَجِدُوا۟ they found لَهُم for themselves مِّن from دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah أَنصَارًا any helpers.
English - Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. .
हिंदी - वह अपने गुनाहों के कारण डुबोए गए फिर जहन्न्म में झोंके गए तो उन लोगों ने खुदा के मुक़ाबले में किसी को मददगार न पाया।.
Ayah 26
وَقَالَ And said نُوحٌ Nuh, رَّبِّ "My Lord! لَا (Do) not تَذَرْ leave عَلَى on ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth مِنَ any ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers دَيَّارًا (as) an inhabitant.
English - And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. .
हिंदी - नूह (अ) ने कहा कि मेरे रब काफ़िरों में से किसी को ज़मीन पर न छोड़।.
Ayah 27
إِنَّكَ Indeed, You, إِن if تَذَرْهُمْ You leave them يُضِلُّوا۟ they will mislead عِبَادَكَ Your slaves وَلَا and not يَلِدُوٓا۟ they will beget إِلَّا except فَاجِرًا a wicked, كَفَّارًا a disbeliever.
English - Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. .
हिंदी - अगर तूने इनको छोड़ दिया, तो ये तेरे बन्दों को गुमराह करेंगो, और यह लोग नहीं पैदा करेंगे मगर गुमराह काफ़िर ।.
Ayah 28
رَّبِّ My Lord! ٱغْفِرْ Forgive لِى me وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ and my parents, وَلِمَن and whoever دَخَلَ enters بَيْتِىَ my house - مُؤْمِنًا a believer وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ and the believing men وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ and the believing women. وَلَا And (do) not تَزِدِ increase ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers إِلَّا except تَبَارًۢا (in) destruction."
English - My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction." .
हिंदी - एै मेरे रब मुझे और मेरे माँ बाप कोए और उसे जो दाखिल हुआ मेरे घर में ईमान लाए और मोमिन मर्दों और मोमिन औरतों की माग़फ़िरत फरमा और ज़ालिमों के विनाश को ही बढ़ा।.
