ٱلْحَآقَّةُ The Inevitable Reality!

Ayah 2
مَا What ٱلْحَآقَّةُ (is) the Inevitable Reality?
English - What is the Inevitable Reality? .
हिंदी - क्या है हक़ीक़त घ्.
Ayah 3
وَمَآ And what أَدْرَىٰكَ will make you know مَا what ٱلْحَآقَّةُ (is) the Inevitable Reality?
English - And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality? .
हिंदी - और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि वह हक़ीक़त क्या है।.
Ayah 4
كَذَّبَتْ Denied ثَمُودُ Thamud وَعَادٌۢ and Aad بِٱلْقَارِعَةِ the Striking Calamity.
English - Thamūd and ‘Aad denied the Striking Calamity. .
हिंदी - समूद और आद ने आफ़त को झुठलाया।.
Ayah 5
فَأَمَّا So as for ثَمُودُ Thamud, فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ they were destroyed بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ by the overpowering (blast).
English - So as for Thamūd, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]. .
हिंदी - तो समूद चिंघाड़ से हलाक किए गए।.
Ayah 6
وَأَمَّا And as for عَادٌ Aad, فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ they were destroyed بِرِيحٍ by a wind صَرْصَرٍ screaming عَاتِيَةٍ violent,
English - And as for ‘Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind .
हिंदी - और आद एक बड़ी तेज़ तूफ़ानी आँधी से तबाह किए गए।.
Ayah 7
سَخَّرَهَا Which He imposed عَلَيْهِمْ upon them سَبْعَ (for) seven لَيَالٍ nights وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ and eight أَيَّامٍ days حُسُومًا (in) succession, فَتَرَى so you would see ٱلْقَوْمَ the people فِيهَا therein صَرْعَىٰ fallen كَأَنَّهُمْ as if they were أَعْجَازُ trunks نَخْلٍ (of) date-palms خَاوِيَةٍ hollow.
English - Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees. .
हिंदी - तो उस ने इसे उन पर लगातार सात रात और आठ दिन लगाए रखाए तो तुम लोगों को देखोगे कि वह उस में पछाड़े हुए एैसे पड़े हैं मानो वह खजूर के खोखले तने हैं।.
Ayah 8
فَهَلْ Then do تَرَىٰ you see لَهُم of them مِّنۢ any بَاقِيَةٍ remains?
English - Then do you see of them any remains? .
हिंदी - अब क्या उनमें से कोई तुम्हें बाक़ी बचा दिखाई देता है.
Ayah 9
وَجَآءَ And came فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun, وَمَن and (those) قَبْلَهُۥ before him, وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَٰتُ and the overturned cities بِٱلْخَاطِئَةِ with sin.
English - And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin. .
हिंदी - और फ़िरऔन और उस से पहले के लोगों ने, और तलपट हो जाने वाली बस्तियों ने पाप किया था।.
Ayah 10
فَعَصَوْا۟ And they disobeyed رَسُولَ (the) Messenger رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord, فَأَخَذَهُمْ so He seized them أَخْذَةً (with) a seizure رَّابِيَةً exceeding.
English - And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity]. .
हिंदी - तो उन्हों ने अपने रब के रसूल की बात न मानी तो उसने उन्हें बड़ी सख़्ती के साथ पकड़ा।.
Ayah 11
إِنَّا Indeed, We لَمَّا when طَغَا overflowed ٱلْمَآءُ the water, حَمَلْنَٰكُمْ We carried you فِى in ٱلْجَارِيَةِ the sailing (ship).
English - Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship .
हिंदी - जब पानी हद से गुज़र गयाए तो हम ने तुम्हें बहती नाव में सवार किया।.
Ayah 12
لِنَجْعَلَهَا That We might make it لَكُمْ for you تَذْكِرَةً a reminder وَتَعِيَهَآ and would be conscious of it أُذُنٌ an ear وَٰعِيَةٌ conscious.
English - That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it. .
हिंदी - ताकि हम उसे तुम्हारे लिए यादगार बनाऐं और उसे याद रखने वाले कान याद रखें।.
Ayah 13
فَإِذَا Then when نُفِخَ is blown فِى in ٱلصُّورِ the trumpet - نَفْخَةٌ a blast وَٰحِدَةٌ single,
English - Then when the Horn is blown with one blast .
हिंदी - फिर जब सूर में एक बार फूँक मार दी जाएगी।.
Ayah 14
وَحُمِلَتِ And are lifted ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth وَٱلْجِبَالُ and the mountains فَدُكَّتَا and crushed دَكَّةً (with) a crushing وَٰحِدَةً single.
English - And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow – .
हिंदी - और ज़मीन और पहाड़ों को उठा कर एक ही चोट में चूरा चूरा कर दिया जाएगा।.
Ayah 15
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ Then (on) that Day وَقَعَتِ will occur ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ the Occurrence,
English - Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur, .
हिंदी - तो उस दिन घटित होने वाली घटना घटित हो जाएगी।.
Ayah 16
وَٱنشَقَّتِ And will split ٱلسَّمَآءُ the heaven, فَهِىَ so it يَوْمَئِذٍ (is on) that Day وَاهِيَةٌ frail.
English - And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm. .
हिंदी - और उस दिन आसमान फट जाएगा और वह बिलकुल कमज़ोर हो जाएगा।.
Ayah 17
وَٱلْمَلَكُ And the Angels عَلَىٰٓ (will be) on أَرْجَآئِهَا its edges, وَيَحْمِلُ and will bear عَرْشَ (the) Throne رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord فَوْقَهُمْ above them, يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day, ثَمَٰنِيَةٌ eight.
English - And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]. .
हिंदी - फ़रिशते उसके किनारे पर होंगे और आठ फ़रश्तिे उस दिन तुम्हारे रब के अर्श को उठाए होंगे।.
Ayah 18
يَوْمَئِذٍ That Day, تُعْرَضُونَ you will be exhibited, لَا not تَخْفَىٰ will be hidden مِنكُمْ among you خَافِيَةٌ any secret.
English - That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed. .
हिंदी - उस दिन तुम लोग पेश किए जाओगे और तुम्हारी कोई पोशीदा बात छिपी न रहेगी।.
Ayah 19
فَأَمَّا Then as for مَنْ (him) who أُوتِىَ is given كِتَٰبَهُۥ his record بِيَمِينِهِۦ in his right hand فَيَقُولُ will say, هَآؤُمُ "Here, ٱقْرَءُوا۟ read كِتَٰبِيَهْ my record!
English - So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! .
हिंदी - तो जिसे उसका कर्म पत्र दाहिने हाथ में दिया जाएगाए तो कहेगा लो मेरा कर्म पत्र पढ़ो।.
Ayah 20
إِنِّى Indeed, I ظَنَنتُ was certain أَنِّى that I مُلَٰقٍ (will) meet حِسَابِيَهْ my account."
English - Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account." .
हिंदी - मैं तो जानता था कि मुझे अपने हिसाब का सामना करना होगा।.
Ayah 21
فَهُوَ So he فِى (will be) in عِيشَةٍ a life رَّاضِيَةٍ pleasant,
English - So he will be in a pleasant life – .
हिंदी - तो वह मनचाहे एैश में होंगे.
Ayah 22
فِى In جَنَّةٍ a Garden عَالِيَةٍ elevated,
English - In an elevated garden, .
हिंदी - बड़े बाग़ों में हांेगे।.
Ayah 23
قُطُوفُهَا Its clusters of fruits دَانِيَةٌ hanging near.
English - Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near. .
हिंदी - जिस के फल क़रीब होंगे।.
Ayah 24
كُلُوا۟ "Eat وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ and drink هَنِيٓـًٔۢا (in) satisfaction بِمَآ for what أَسْلَفْتُمْ you sent before you فِى in ٱلْأَيَّامِ the days ٱلْخَالِيَةِ past."
English - [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past." .
हिंदी - खाओ और पियो उन कर्मो के बदले जो तुम ने बीते हुए दिनों में किए थे।.
Ayah 25
وَأَمَّا But as for مَنْ (him) who أُوتِىَ is given كِتَٰبَهُۥ his record بِشِمَالِهِۦ in his left hand فَيَقُولُ will say, يَٰلَيْتَنِى "O! I wish لَمْ not أُوتَ I had been given كِتَٰبِيَهْ my record
English - But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record .
हिंदी - और जिन के कर्म पत्र उनके बाएँ हाथ में दिया जाएंगे तो वह कहेंगे काश मुझे मेरा कर्म पत्र न दिया जाता।.
Ayah 26
وَلَمْ And not أَدْرِ I had known مَا what حِسَابِيَهْ (is) my account.
English - And had not known what is my account. .
हिंदी - और मुझे न मालूम होता कि मेरा हिसाब क्या है।.
Ayah 27
يَٰلَيْتَهَا O! I wish it كَانَتِ had been ٱلْقَاضِيَةَ the end
English - I wish my death had been the decisive one. .
हिंदी - ऐ काश कि ये ख़त्म करने वाली होती।.
Ayah 28
مَآ Not أَغْنَىٰ has availed عَنِّى me مَالِيَهْ my wealth,
English - My wealth has not availed me. .
हिंदी - मेरा माल मेरे कुछ भी काम न आया ।.
Ayah 29
هَلَكَ Is gone عَنِّى from me سُلْطَٰنِيَهْ my authority."
English - Gone from me is my authority." .
हिंदी - मेरी सलतनत मुझ से जाती रही।.
Ayah 30
خُذُوهُ "Seize him فَغُلُّوهُ and shackle him,
English - [Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him. .
हिंदी - गिरफ़तार करो और तौक़ पहना दो ।.
Ayah 31
ثُمَّ Then ٱلْجَحِيمَ (into) the Hellfire صَلُّوهُ burn him.
English - Then into Hellfire drive him. .
हिंदी - फिर इसे जहन्नम में झोंक दो।.
Ayah 32
ثُمَّ Then فِى into سِلْسِلَةٍ a chain, ذَرْعُهَا its length سَبْعُونَ (is) seventy ذِرَاعًا cubits, فَٱسْلُكُوهُ insert him."
English - Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him." .
हिंदी - फिर एक ज़ंजीर में जिसका नाप सत्तर गज़ का है उसे जकड़ दो।.
Ayah 33
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he كَانَ was لَا not يُؤْمِنُ believing بِٱللَّهِ in Allah ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Most Great,
English - Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great, .
हिंदी - यह न अज़मत वाले अल्लाह पर इमान लाता था।.
Ayah 34
وَلَا And (did) not يَحُضُّ feel the urge عَلَىٰ on طَعَامِ (the) feeding ٱلْمِسْكِينِ (of) the poor.
English - Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor. .
हिंदी - और न मोहताज को खाना खिलाने पर उभारता था।.
Ayah 35
فَلَيْسَ So not لَهُ for him ٱلْيَوْمَ today هَٰهُنَا here حَمِيمٌ any devoted friend,
English - So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend .
हिंदी - तो आज यहाँ न उसका कोई दोसत है ।.
Ayah 36
وَلَا And not طَعَامٌ any food إِلَّا except مِنْ from غِسْلِينٍ (the) discharge of wounds,
English - Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; .
हिंदी - और न ही कुछ खाना है, सिवाए पीप के।.
Ayah 37
لَّا Not يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ will eat it إِلَّا except ٱلْخَٰطِـُٔونَ the sinners.
English - None will eat it except the sinners. .
हिंदी - उसे ख़ताकारों के सिवा कोई न खाएगा।.
Ayah 38
فَلَآ But nay! أُقْسِمُ I swear بِمَا by what تُبْصِرُونَ you see,
English - So I swear by what you see .
हिंदी - मैं क़सम खाता हूंए उन चीज़ों की जो तुम देखते हो ।.
Ayah 39
وَمَا And what لَا not تُبْصِرُونَ you see,
English - And what you do not see .
हिंदी - और उनकी जिन्हें तुम नहीें देखते।.
Ayah 40
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it (is) لَقَوْلُ surely (the) Word رَسُولٍ (of) a Messenger كَرِيمٍ noble.
English - [That] indeed, the Qur’an is the word of a noble Messenger. .
हिंदी - बेशक यह इज़्ज़त वाले रसूल की बात है।.
Ayah 41
وَمَا And not هُوَ it بِقَوْلِ (is the) word شَاعِرٍ (of) a poet; قَلِيلًا little مَّا (is) what تُؤْمِنُونَ you believe!
English - And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. .
हिंदी - यह किसी शायर का कलाम नहींए तुम थोड़ा ही ईमान लाते हो।.
Ayah 42
وَلَا And not بِقَوْلِ (it is the) word كَاهِنٍ (of) a soothsayer; قَلِيلًا little مَّا (is) what تَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed.
English - Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. .
हिंदी - और न किसी काहिन की बात हैए तुम थोड़ा ही विचार करते हो ।.
Ayah 43
تَنزِيلٌ (It is) a revelation مِّن from رَّبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds.
English - [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. .
हिंदी - सारे ज़हाँन के रब की तरफ़ से अवतरण किया हुआ है ।.
Ayah 44
وَلَوْ And if تَقَوَّلَ he (had) fabricated عَلَيْنَا against Us بَعْضَ some ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ sayings,
English - And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, .
हिंदी - और अगर वह हमपर थोपकर कुछ बातें घड़ता।.
Ayah 45
لَأَخَذْنَا Certainly We (would) have seized مِنْهُ him بِٱلْيَمِينِ by the right hand;
English - We would have seized him by the right hand; .
हिंदी - तो हम उस को दाहिने हाथ से पकड़ लेते ।.
Ayah 46
ثُمَّ Then لَقَطَعْنَا certainly We (would) have cut off مِنْهُ from him ٱلْوَتِينَ the aorta.
English - Then We would have cut from him the aorta. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ज़रूर उनकी ज़िनदगी की रग काट डालते।.
Ayah 47
فَمَا And not مِنكُم from you مِّنْ any أَحَدٍ one عَنْهُ [from him] حَٰجِزِينَ (who could) prevent (it).
English - And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. .
हिंदी - तो तुम में से कोई उनसे मुझे रोक न सकता।.
Ayah 48
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it لَتَذْكِرَةٌ (is) surely a reminder لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ for the Allah-fearing.
English - And indeed, the Qur’an is a reminder for the righteous. .
हिंदी - ये तो परहेज़गारों के लिए नसीहत है ।.
Ayah 49
وَإِنَّا And indeed, We لَنَعْلَمُ surely know أَنَّ that مِنكُم among you مُّكَذِّبِينَ (are) deniers.
English - And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. .
हिंदी - और हम जानते हैं कि तुम में से कुछ लोग झुठलाने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 50
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it لَحَسْرَةٌ (is) surely a regret عَلَى upon ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - और यह इनकार करने वालों के लिए यक़ीन्न पछतावे का सबब है।.
Ayah 51
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it (is) لَحَقُّ surely (the) truth ٱلْيَقِينِ (of) certainty.
English - And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. .
हिंदी - और बेशक यह यक़ीनी हक़ है ।.
Ayah 52
فَسَبِّحْ So glorify بِٱسْمِ (the) name رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord, ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Most Great.
English - So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. .
हिंदी - तो महीमा बयान करो अपने अज़मत वाले रब के नाम की।.
