Ayah 1
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّبِىُّ Prophet! لِمَ Why (do) تُحَرِّمُ you prohibit مَآ what أَحَلَّ has made lawful ٱللَّهُ Allah لَكَ for you, تَبْتَغِى seeking مَرْضَاتَ (to) please أَزْوَٰجِكَ your wives? وَٱللَّهُ And Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - एै नबीए आप क्यों उस को हराम करते हैंए जिसको अल्लाह ने आप के लिए हलाल किया है अपनी बीवियों की खुशी चाहने के लिए और अल्लह माफ़ करने वाला मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 2
قَدْ Indeed, فَرَضَ has ordained ٱللَّهُ Allah لَكُمْ for you تَحِلَّةَ (the) dissolution أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ (of) your oaths. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah مَوْلَىٰكُمْ (is) your Protector وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَلِيمُ (is) the All-Knower, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - Allah has already ordained for you [Muslims] the dissolution of your oaths. And Allah is your protector, and He is the Knowing, the Wise. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे लिए अपनी क़समों से निकलने का रास्ता तैय किया है, और अल्लाह तुम्हारा मौला है, और वह जानने वाला हिक्मत वाला है।.
Ayah 3
وَإِذْ And when أَسَرَّ confided ٱلنَّبِىُّ the Prophet إِلَىٰ to بَعْضِ one أَزْوَٰجِهِۦ (of) his wives حَدِيثًا a statement, فَلَمَّا and when نَبَّأَتْ she informed بِهِۦ about it وَأَظْهَرَهُ and made it apparent ٱللَّهُ Allah عَلَيْهِ to him, عَرَّفَ he made known بَعْضَهُۥ a part of it وَأَعْرَضَ and avoided عَنۢ [of] بَعْضٍ a part. فَلَمَّا Then when نَبَّأَهَا he informed her بِهِۦ about it, قَالَتْ she said, مَنْ "Who أَنۢبَأَكَ informed you هَٰذَا this?" قَالَ He said, نَبَّأَنِىَ "Has informed me ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower, ٱلْخَبِيرُ the All-Aware."
English - And [remember] when the Prophet confided to one of his wives a statement; and when she informed [another] of it and Allah showed it to him, he made known part of it and ignored a part. And when he informed her about it, she said, "Who told you this?" He said, "I was informed by the Knowing, the Acquainted." .
हिंदी - और जब नबी ने अपनी एक बीबी से राज़ की बात कहीए तो जब उस ने इस को बता दिया और अल्लाह ने इस को ज़ाहिर कर दिया उस पर तो उन्होंने उसे कुछ बताया और कुछ छोड़ दिया फिर जब उस ने इस बारे में उसे बातया तो उसने पूछा आपको इसकी किसने ख़बर दी तो उनहों ने कहा की मुझे ख़बर दी जो सब कुछ जान्ने वाला ख़ूब ख़बर रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 4
إِن If تَتُوبَآ you both turn إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah, فَقَدْ so indeed, صَغَتْ (are) inclined قُلُوبُكُمَا your hearts; وَإِن but if تَظَٰهَرَا you backup each other عَلَيْهِ against him, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He مَوْلَىٰهُ (is) his Protector, وَجِبْرِيلُ and Jibreel, وَصَٰلِحُ and (the) righteous ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ believers, وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ and the Angels, بَعْدَ after ذَٰلِكَ that ظَهِيرٌ (are his) assistants.
English - If you two [wives] repent to Allah, [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him – then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants. .
हिंदी - अगर तुम दोनों अल्लाह से तौबा करती होए बेशक तुम्हारे दिल झुके हुए हैं और अगर उस के मुक़ाबले में तुम ने एक दूसरे की मदद कीए तो अल्लाह उसका मददगार हैए और जिबरील और नेक ईमान वाले और इस के अलावा फ़रिशते भी मददगार हैं।.
Ayah 5
عَسَىٰ Perhaps رَبُّهُۥٓ his Lord, إِن if طَلَّقَكُنَّ he divorced you, أَن [that] يُبْدِلَهُۥٓ He will substitute for him أَزْوَٰجًا wives خَيْرًا better مِّنكُنَّ than you مُسْلِمَٰتٍ submissive, مُّؤْمِنَٰتٍ faithful, قَٰنِتَٰتٍ obedient, تَٰٓئِبَٰتٍ repentant, عَٰبِدَٰتٍ who worship, سَٰٓئِحَٰتٍ who fast, ثَيِّبَٰتٍ previously married وَأَبْكَارًا and virgins.
English - Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced you [all], would substitute for him wives better than you – submitting [to Allah], believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, and traveling – [ones] previously married and virgins. .
हिंदी - अगर तुम लोगों को तलाक़ देदेंए तो अल्लाह उन्हें एैसी बीवियाँ तुम्हारे बदले में देगाए जो तुम से अच्छी होंए मुसलमान ईमान वाली फ़रमांबरदार तौबा करने वाली इबातदत करने वाली और रोज़ेदार शादी शुदा और कुँवारियाँ।.
Ayah 6
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلَّذِينَ (you) who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! قُوٓا۟ Protect أَنفُسَكُمْ yourselves وَأَهْلِيكُمْ and your families نَارًا (from) a Fire وَقُودُهَا whose fuel ٱلنَّاسُ (is) people وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ and stones, عَلَيْهَا over it مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌ (are) Angels غِلَاظٌ stern, شِدَادٌ severe; لَّا not يَعْصُونَ they disobey ٱللَّهَ Allah مَآ (in) what أَمَرَهُمْ He Commands them وَيَفْعَلُونَ but they do مَا what يُؤْمَرُونَ they are commanded.
English - O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded. .
हिंदी - एै ईमान वालोए तुम अपने आप को और अपने घर वालों को उस आग से बचाओ जिस का ईंधन आदमी और पत्थ्र होंगे जिस पर बहुत ही सख़्त मिज़ाज फ़रिशते होंगे वह अल्लाह की नाफ़रमानी नहीं करते जिस का उन्हें हुक्म दिया जाता हैए और वह वही करते हैं जो उन्हें हुक्म दिया जाता है।.
Ayah 7
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O ٱلَّذِينَ (you) who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve! لَا (Do) not تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ make excuses ٱلْيَوْمَ today. إِنَّمَا Only تُجْزَوْنَ you will be recompensed مَا (for) what كُنتُمْ you used to تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - O you who have disbelieved, make no excuses that Day. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do. .
हिंदी - एै काफ़िरों आज बहाने न बनाओ जो कुछ तुम करते थे तुम्हें उसकी सज़ा दी जाएगी।.
Ayah 8
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلَّذِينَ (you) who believe ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! تُوبُوٓا۟ Turn إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah تَوْبَةً (in) repentance نَّصُوحًا sincere! عَسَىٰ Perhaps رَبُّكُمْ your Lord أَن will يُكَفِّرَ remove عَنكُمْ from you سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ your evil deeds وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ and admit you جَنَّٰتٍ (into) Gardens تَجْرِى flow مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, يَوْمَ (on the) Day لَا not يُخْزِى will be disgraced ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah ٱلنَّبِىَّ the Prophet وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed مَعَهُۥ with him. نُورُهُمْ Their light يَسْعَىٰ will run بَيْنَ before أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands وَبِأَيْمَٰنِهِمْ and on their right; يَقُولُونَ they will say, رَبَّنَآ "Our Lord أَتْمِمْ Perfect لَنَا for us نُورَنَا our light وَٱغْفِرْ and grant forgiveness لَنَآ to us. إِنَّكَ Indeed, You عَلَىٰ (are) over كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful."
English - O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, "Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent." .
हिंदी - एै ईमान वालो अल्लाह से सच्ची तौबा करो उम्मीद है कि तुम्हारा रब तुम से दूर कर देगा तुम्हारे गुनाहों को और तुम्हें एैसी जन्नतों में दाख़िल करेगा जिसके नीचे नहरें बह रही होंगी। उस दिन अल्लाह रूसवा नहीं करेगा नबी को और उन लोगों को जो उसके साथ ईमान लाए हैं उन का नूर उन के सामने और उनके दाहिनी तरफ दौड़ रहा होगा और वह कह रहे होंगे कि एै हमारे रब हमारा नूर पूरा कर दे और हमें माफ़ कर दे बेशक तू हर चीज़ पर त़ाक़त रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّبِىُّ Prophet! جَٰهِدِ Strive ٱلْكُفَّارَ (against) the disbelievers وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ and the hypocrites, وَٱغْلُظْ and be stern عَلَيْهِمْ with them. وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ And their abode جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell, وَبِئْسَ and wretched is ٱلْمَصِيرُ the destination.
English - O Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination. .
हिंदी - एै नबीए काफ़िरों और मुनाफ़िक़ों से जिहाद करोए और उन के साथ सख़्ती से पेश आओए उनका ठिकाना जहन्नम हैए और वह क्या ही बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 10
ضَرَبَ Presents ٱللَّهُ Allah مَثَلًا an example لِّلَّذِينَ for those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved - ٱمْرَأَتَ (the) wife نُوحٍ (of) Nuh وَٱمْرَأَتَ (and the) wife لُوطٍ (of) Lut. كَانَتَا They were تَحْتَ under عَبْدَيْنِ two [slaves] مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves صَٰلِحَيْنِ righteous, فَخَانَتَاهُمَا but they both betrayed them, فَلَمْ so not يُغْنِيَا they availed, عَنْهُمَا both of them, مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah شَيْـًٔا (in) anything, وَقِيلَ and it was said, ٱدْخُلَا "Enter ٱلنَّارَ the Fire مَعَ with ٱلدَّٰخِلِينَ those who enter."
English - Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter." .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने काफ़िरों के लिए बयान कीए नूह की बीवी और लूत की बीवी की मिसालए वह दोनों हमारे नेक बन्दों के अधीन थीं मगर उन्हों ने उन के साथ धोका किया तो वह दोनो अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में उन दोनों के कुछ काम न आ सके और कहा गया कि जाओ आग में जाने वालों के साथ।.
Ayah 11
وَضَرَبَ And presents ٱللَّهُ Allah مَثَلًا an example لِّلَّذِينَ for those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed - ٱمْرَأَتَ (the) wife فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun, إِذْ when قَالَتْ she said, رَبِّ "My Lord! ٱبْنِ Build لِى for me عِندَكَ near You بَيْتًا a house فِى in ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise, وَنَجِّنِى and save me مِن from فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَعَمَلِهِۦ and his deeds وَنَجِّنِى and save me مِنَ from ٱلْقَوْمِ the people ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers."
English - And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people." .
हिंदी - और ईमान बालों के लिए अल्लाह ने फ़िरअ़ौन की बीवी की मिसाल पेश कीए के जब उस ने कहा की एै मेरे रबए मेरे लिए अपने पास जन्नत में एक घर बनादे और मुझे फ़िरअ़ौन और उस के अमल और मुझे ज़ालिम लोगों से बचा ले।.
Ayah 12
وَمَرْيَمَ And Maryam, ٱبْنَتَ (the) daughter عِمْرَٰنَ (of) Imran ٱلَّتِىٓ who أَحْصَنَتْ guarded فَرْجَهَا her chastity, فَنَفَخْنَا so We breathed فِيهِ into it مِن of رُّوحِنَا Our Spirit. وَصَدَّقَتْ And she believed بِكَلِمَٰتِ (in the) Words رَبِّهَا (of) her Lord وَكُتُبِهِۦ and His Books, وَكَانَتْ and she was مِنَ of ٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ the devoutly obedient.
English - And [the example of] Mary, the daughter of ‘Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient. .
हिंदी - और इमरान की बेटी मरयमए जिस ने हिफ़ाज़त की अपनी शर्मगाह कीए तो हम ने उस में अपनी रूह फूंकीए और उस ने पुष्टि की अपने रब की बातों की और उन की किताबों कीए और वह फ़रमांबरदारी करने वालियों में से थी।.
