Ayah 1
يُسَبِّحُ Glorifies لِلَّهِ Allah مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, ٱلْمَلِكِ the Sovereign, ٱلْقُدُّوسِ the Holy, ٱلْعَزِيزِ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمِ the All-Wise.
English - Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़मीन में जो कुछ है वह अल्लाह की महिमा करती है जो बादशाह पाक ज़ात ज़बरदस्त हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 2
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who بَعَثَ sent فِى among ٱلْأُمِّيِّۦنَ the unlettered رَسُولًا a Messenger مِّنْهُمْ from themselves يَتْلُوا۟ reciting عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Verses, وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ and purifying them وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ and teaching them ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ and the wisdom وَإِن although كَانُوا۟ they were مِن from قَبْلُ before لَفِى surely in ضَلَٰلٍ an error مُّبِينٍ clear.
English - It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom – although they were before in clear error – .
हिंदी - वही है जिसने अंपढ़ों में एक रसूल भेजा, जो उन्हें उसकी आयतें सुनाता है, और उन को सँवारता है, और अन्हें किताब और हिकमत की तालीम देता है, हालांकि उससे पहले वह खुली गुमराही में थे।.
Ayah 3
وَءَاخَرِينَ And others مِنْهُمْ among them لَمَّا who have not yet يَلْحَقُوا۟ joined بِهِمْ them; وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - And [to] others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - इन में कुछ और भी हैं, जो अभी तक इन के साथ आकर नहीं मिले, और वह ज़बरदस्त हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 4
ذَٰلِكَ That فَضْلُ (is the) Bounty ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, يُؤْتِيهِ He gives it مَن (to) whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ذُو (is the) Possessor ٱلْفَضْلِ (of) Bounty ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great.
English - That is the bounty of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. .
हिंदी - यह अल्लाह की मेहरबानी है वह जिसे चाहता है देता है और वह बड़ा मेहरबानी वाला है।.
Ayah 5
مَثَلُ (The) likeness ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who حُمِّلُوا۟ were entrusted ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ (with) the Taurat ثُمَّ then لَمْ not يَحْمِلُوهَا they bore it, كَمَثَلِ (is) like ٱلْحِمَارِ the donkey يَحْمِلُ who carries أَسْفَارًۢا books. بِئْسَ Wretched is مَثَلُ (the) example ٱلْقَوْمِ (of) the people ٱلَّذِينَ who كَذَّبُوا۟ deny بِـَٔايَٰتِ (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the people, ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. .
हिंदी - उन की मिसाल जिन पर तौरात का बोझ डाला गया फिर उन्हों ने उसे नही उठाया उन की मिसाल गधे की है जो किताबो को लादे हुए रहता हैं बहुत बुरी मिसाल है उन लोगों की जिन्हों ने अल्लाह की आयतों को झुठलायाए और अल्लाह ज़ालिमों को हिदायत नहीं देता।.
Ayah 6
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O ٱلَّذِينَ you (who) هَادُوٓا۟ (are) Jews! إِن If زَعَمْتُمْ you claim أَنَّكُمْ that you أَوْلِيَآءُ (are) allies لِلَّهِ of Allah. مِن from دُونِ excluding ٱلنَّاسِ the people, فَتَمَنَّوُا۟ then wish ٱلْمَوْتَ (for) the death, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful."
English - Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah, excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful." .
हिंदी - कहो एै लोगो जो यहूदी हुए हो अगर तुम्हारा यह दावा है की तुम ही अल्लाह के चहीते हो बाकी लोगों को छोड़ कर तो मौत की तमन्ना करो अगर तुम सच्चे हो।.
Ayah 7
وَلَا But not يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُۥٓ they will wish for it, أَبَدًۢا ever, بِمَا for what قَدَّمَتْ (have) sent forth أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knowing بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ of the wrongdoers.
English - But they will not wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - और यह हरगिज़ उसकी तमन्ना न करेंगे अपनी उन करतुतों की वजह से जो यह कर चुके हैंए और अल्लाह ज़ालिमों को ख़ूब जानता है।.
Ayah 8
قُلْ Say, إِنَّ "Indeed, ٱلْمَوْتَ the death ٱلَّذِى which تَفِرُّونَ you flee مِنْهُ from it, فَإِنَّهُۥ then surely it مُلَٰقِيكُمْ (will) meet you. ثُمَّ Then تُرَدُّونَ you will be sent back إِلَىٰ to عَٰلِمِ (the) All-Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the witnessed, فَيُنَبِّئُكُم and He will inform you بِمَا [of] what كُنتُمْ you used to تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee – indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do." .
हिंदी - कहोए जिस मौत से तुम भागते होए वह तो तुम्हें मिलकर रहेगी फिर तुम्हें छिपे और खुले के जान्ने वाले की तरफ़ लौटाया जाएगा और वह बता देगा जो तुम किया करते थे।.
Ayah 9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلَّذِينَ (you) who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe! إِذَا When نُودِىَ (the) call is made لِلصَّلَوٰةِ for (the) prayer مِن on يَوْمِ (the) day ٱلْجُمُعَةِ (of) Friday, فَٱسْعَوْا۟ then hasten إِلَىٰ to ذِكْرِ (the) remembrance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَذَرُوا۟ and leave ٱلْبَيْعَ the business. ذَٰلِكُمْ That خَيْرٌ (is) better لَّكُمْ for you, إِن if كُنتُمْ you تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu‘ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. .
हिंदी - एै इमान वालो जब पुकारा जाए नमाज़ के लिए जुमा के दिन तो अल्लाह की याद की तरफ दौड़ो और ख़रीदारी को छोड़ दो यह तुम्हारे लिए बेहतर है अगर तुम जानो।.
Ayah 10
فَإِذَا Then when قُضِيَتِ is concluded ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ the prayer, فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ then disperse فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land وَٱبْتَغُوا۟ and seek مِن from فَضْلِ (the) Bounty ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ and remember ٱللَّهَ Allah كَثِيرًا much لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُفْلِحُونَ succeed.
English - And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed. .
हिंदी - फिर जब नमाज़ पूरी हो जोए तो ज़मीन में फैल जाओए और अल्लाह का फ़ज़्ल तलाश करोए और अल्लाह को ख़ूब याद करो ताके तुम्हें कामयाबी हासिल हो।.
Ayah 11
وَإِذَا And when رَأَوْا۟ they saw تِجَٰرَةً a transaction أَوْ or لَهْوًا a sport, ٱنفَضُّوٓا۟ they rushed إِلَيْهَا to it وَتَرَكُوكَ and left you قَآئِمًا standing. قُلْ Say, مَا "What عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah خَيْرٌ (is) better مِّنَ than ٱللَّهْوِ the sport وَمِنَ and from ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِ (any) transaction. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَيْرُ (is the) Best ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ (of) the Providers."
English - But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muúammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers." .
हिंदी - और जब उन्हों ने व्यापार और खेल तमाशा होते देखा तो उस की तरफ टूट पड़े और तुम्हें खड़ा छोड़ दियाए कहो ए जो कुछ अल्लाह के पास है वह खेल तमाशे और व्यापार से अच्छा हैए और अल्लाह सबसे अच्छी रोज़ी देने वाला है।.
