Ayah 1
سَبَّحَ Glorifies لِلَّهِ [to] Allah مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़मीन में जो कुछ है अल्लह की महिमा करती हैए और वह ज़बरदस्त हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 2
لَهُۥ For Him مُلْكُ (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, يُحْىِۦ He gives life وَيُمِيتُ and causes death, وَهُوَ and He عَلَىٰ (is) over كُلِّ all شَىْءٍ things قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - उस के लिए आसमानों और ज़मीन की बादशाहत हैए ज़िन्दगी देता है और मौत देता हैए और वह हर चीज़ पर ताक़त रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 3
هُوَ He ٱلْأَوَّلُ (is) the First وَٱلْءَاخِرُ and the Last, وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ and the Apparent وَٱلْبَاطِنُ and the Unapparent, وَهُوَ and He بِكُلِّ (is) of every شَىْءٍ thing عَلِيمٌ All-Knower.
English - He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing. .
हिंदी - वही पहला है और आख़री है और ज़ाहिर है और छुपा हुआ है और वह हर चीज़ को जान्ने वाला है।.
Ayah 4
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth فِى in سِتَّةِ six أَيَّامٍ periods, ثُمَّ then ٱسْتَوَىٰ He rose عَلَى over ٱلْعَرْشِ the Throne. يَعْلَمُ He knows مَا what يَلِجُ penetrates فِى in(to) ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَمَا and what يَخْرُجُ comes forth مِنْهَا from it, وَمَا and what يَنزِلُ descends مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven وَمَا and what يَعْرُجُ ascends فِيهَا therein; وَهُوَ and He مَعَكُمْ (is) with you أَيْنَ wherever مَا wherever كُنتُمْ you are. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do بَصِيرٌ (is) All-seer.
English - It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing. .
हिंदी - वही है जिस ने आसमानो और ज़मीन को छह दिन में पैदा किया फिर सिंहासन पर विराजमान हुआ वह जानता है जो ज़मीन में दाख़िल होता है और जो उससे निकलता है और जो आसमान से उतरता है और जो उस पर चढ़ता हैए और जहा कहीं रहो वह तुम्हारे साथ हैए और जो कोछ तुम करते हो अल्लाह उसे देखता है।.
Ayah 5
لَّهُۥ For Him مُلْكُ (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, وَإِلَى and to ٱللَّهِ Allah تُرْجَعُ will be returned ٱلْأُمُورُ the matters.
English - His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. And to Allah are returned [all] matters. .
हिंदी - उस के लिए आसमानों और ज़मीन की बादशहत हैए और अल्लाह की तरफ़ सारे मामले लौटाए जाते हैं।.
Ayah 6
يُولِجُ He merges ٱلَّيْلَ the night فِى into ٱلنَّهَارِ the day وَيُولِجُ and He merges ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فِى into ٱلَّيْلِ the night, وَهُوَ and He عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower بِذَاتِ of what is in the breasts. ٱلصُّدُورِ of what is in the breasts.
English - He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night, and he is Knowing of that within the breasts. .
हिंदी - वह रात को दिन में और दिन को रात में दाख़िल करता हैए और वह दिलों के हाल जानता है।.
Ayah 7
ءَامِنُوا۟ Believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger وَأَنفِقُوا۟ and spend مِمَّا of what جَعَلَكُم He has made you مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ trustees فِيهِ therein. فَٱلَّذِينَ And those ءَامَنُوا۟ who believe مِنكُمْ among you وَأَنفَقُوا۟ and spend, لَهُمْ for them أَجْرٌ (is) a reward كَبِيرٌ great.
English - Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward. .
हिंदी - ईमान लाओ अल्लाह और उसके रसूल पर और ख़र्च करो उस में से जिसका उसने तुम्हें अधिकारी बनाया है तो तुम में से जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने ख़र्च कियाए उन के लिए बड़ा बदला है।.
Ayah 8
وَمَا And what لَكُمْ (is) for you لَا (that) not تُؤْمِنُونَ you believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱلرَّسُولُ while the Messenger يَدْعُوكُمْ calls you لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ that you believe بِرَبِّكُمْ in your Lord, وَقَدْ and indeed, أَخَذَ He has taken مِيثَٰقَكُمْ your covenant إِن if كُنتُم you are مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers.
English - And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers? .
हिंदी - तुम्हें क्या हो गया है कि तुम अल्लाह पर ईमान नहीं लातेए जबकी रसूल तुम्हें बुला रहे हैं कि तुम अपने रब पर ईमान लाओ और वह तुम से पक्का वादा ले चुके हैंए अगर तुम ईमान वाले हो।.
Ayah 9
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُنَزِّلُ sends down عَلَىٰ upon عَبْدِهِۦٓ His slave ءَايَٰتٍۭ Verses بَيِّنَٰتٍ clear لِّيُخْرِجَكُم that He may bring you out مِّنَ from ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ the darkness[es] إِلَى into ٱلنُّورِ the light. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِكُمْ to you لَرَءُوفٌ (is the) Most Kind, رَّحِيمٌ (the) Most Merciful.
English - It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful. .
हिंदी - वही है जो अपने बन्दे पर साफ़ साफ़ आयतें उतारता है ताकि तुम्हें अंधेरों से निकाल कर रौशनी में लाएए और बेशक अल्लाह तुम पर मेहरबान दयावान है।.
Ayah 10
وَمَا And what لَكُمْ (is) for you أَلَّا that not تُنفِقُوا۟ you spend فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah? وَلِلَّهِ while for Allah مِيرَٰثُ (is the) heritage ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth? لَا Not يَسْتَوِى are equal مِنكُم among you مَّنْ (those) who أَنفَقَ spent مِن before قَبْلِ before ٱلْفَتْحِ the victory وَقَٰتَلَ and fought. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those أَعْظَمُ (are) greater دَرَجَةً (in) degree مِّنَ than ٱلَّذِينَ those who أَنفَقُوا۟ spent مِنۢ afterwards بَعْدُ afterwards وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ and fought. وَكُلًّا But to all, وَعَدَ Allah has promised ٱللَّهُ Allah has promised ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ the best. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do خَبِيرٌ (is) All-Aware.
English - And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah, with what you do, is Acquainted. .
हिंदी - तुम्हें क्या हो गया है कि तुम अल्लाह के रास्ता में ख़र्च नहीं करते हालाँकी आसमानों और ज़मीन की विरासत अल्लाह ही के लिए हैए तुम में से जिन लोगों ने विजय से पहले ख़र्ज कियाए और लड़े वह बराबर नहीं हो सकतेए वह दरजे में उनसे बढ़कर हैं जिन्हों ने बाद में ख़र्च किया और लड़ेए और अल्लाह ने हर एक के साथ अच्छाई का वादा कियाए और अल्लाह ख़बर रखता हैए जो कुछ तुम करते हो।.
Ayah 11
مَّن Who (is) ذَا the one who ٱلَّذِى the one who يُقْرِضُ will loan ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah قَرْضًا a loan حَسَنًا goodly, فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ so He will multiply it لَهُۥ for him وَلَهُۥٓ and for him أَجْرٌ (is) a reward كَرِيمٌ noble?
English - Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward? .
हिंदी - कौन है जो अल्लाह को क़र्ज़ देए अच्छा क़र्ज़ए ताकि वह उसे उसके लिए कई गुगा कर देए और उस के लिए इज़्ज़्ात वाला बदला है।.
Ayah 12
يَوْمَ (On the) Day تَرَى you will see ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believing men وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ and the believing women, يَسْعَىٰ running, نُورُهُم their light بَيْنَ before them أَيْدِيهِمْ before them وَبِأَيْمَٰنِهِم and on their right, بُشْرَىٰكُمُ "Glad tidings for you ٱلْيَوْمَ this Day - جَنَّٰتٌ gardens تَجْرِى flowing مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, خَٰلِدِينَ abiding forever فِيهَا therein. ذَٰلِكَ That هُوَ [it] (is) ٱلْفَوْزُ the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great."
English - On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right, [it will be said], "Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally." That is what is the great attainment. .
हिंदी - उस दिन तुम देखोगे ईमान वाले मर्दों और ईमान वाली औरतों को कि उनकी रौशनी उनके आगे और उनके दाहनी तरफ़ दौड़ रही होगी आज तुमहारे लिए ख़ूशख़बरी है एैसी जन्नतों की जिन के नीचे से नहरें बह रही होंगी जिन में हमेशा रहना है यही बड़ी कामयाबी है।.
Ayah 13
يَوْمَ (On the) Day يَقُولُ will say ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ the hypocrite men وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ and the hypocrite women لِلَّذِينَ to those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed, ٱنظُرُونَا "Wait for us, نَقْتَبِسْ we may acquire مِن of نُّورِكُمْ your light." قِيلَ It will be said, ٱرْجِعُوا۟ "Go back وَرَآءَكُمْ behind you فَٱلْتَمِسُوا۟ and seek نُورًا light." فَضُرِبَ Then will be put up بَيْنَهُم between them بِسُورٍ a wall, لَّهُۥ for it بَابٌۢ a gate بَاطِنُهُۥ its interior, فِيهِ in it ٱلرَّحْمَةُ (is) mercy وَظَٰهِرُهُۥ but its exterior, مِن facing towards [it] قِبَلِهِ facing towards [it] ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment.
English - On the [same] Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." And a wall will be placed between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment. .
हिंदी - उस दिन मुनाफ़िक मर्द और मुनाफ़िक़ औरतें कहेेंगी मोमिनों सेए तुम हमारा इनतज़ार करो ताकि हम तुम्हारी रौशनी में से कुछ ले लें कहा जाएगा तुम अपने पीछे लौट जाओ और रौशनी तलाश करो उन के बीच एक दीवार खड़ी करदी जाएगी जिस में दरवाज़ा होगा। उस के अन्दर रहमत और उस के बाहर अज़ाब होगा।.
Ayah 14
يُنَادُونَهُمْ They will call them, أَلَمْ "Were not نَكُن we مَّعَكُمْ with you?" قَالُوا۟ They will say, بَلَىٰ "Yes, وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ but you فَتَنتُمْ led to temptation أَنفُسَكُمْ yourselves وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ and you awaited وَٱرْتَبْتُمْ and you doubted وَغَرَّتْكُمُ and deceived you ٱلْأَمَانِىُّ the wishful thinking حَتَّىٰ until جَآءَ came أَمْرُ (the) Command ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَغَرَّكُم And deceived you بِٱللَّهِ about Allah ٱلْغَرُورُ the deceiver.
English - The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah. .
हिंदी - वह लोग उनको पुकारेंगे, क्या हम तुम्हारे साथ नहीं थे, वह लोग कहेंगे, हाँ, लेकिन तुम ने अपने आप को फ़ितने में डाला, और इंतेजा़र किया, और शक किया, और तुम्हें आशाआंे ने धोका दिया, यहाँ तक कि अल्लाह का फै़सला आ गया, और धोकेबाज़ ने तुम्हें अल्लाह से धोके में रखा।.
Ayah 15
فَٱلْيَوْمَ So today لَا not يُؤْخَذُ will be accepted مِنكُمْ from you فِدْيَةٌ any ransom وَلَا and not مِنَ from ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved. مَأْوَىٰكُمُ Your abode ٱلنَّارُ (is) the Fire; هِىَ it (is) مَوْلَىٰكُمْ your protector وَبِئْسَ and wretched is ٱلْمَصِيرُ the destination.
English - So today no ransom will be taken from you or from those who disbelieved. Your refuge is the Fire. It is most worthy of you, and wretched is the destination. .
हिंदी - तो आज तुम से न कोई मुक्तिदान लिया जाएगा और न उन लोगों से जिन्हों ने इन्कार कियाए तुम लोगों का ठिकाना जहन्नम हैए वही तुम्हारे लायक़ हैए और बुरी जगह है।.
Ayah 16
أَلَمْ Has not يَأْنِ come (the) time لِلَّذِينَ for those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believed أَن that تَخْشَعَ become humble قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts لِذِكْرِ at (the) remembrance (of) Allah ٱللَّهِ at (the) remembrance (of) Allah وَمَا and what نَزَلَ has come down مِنَ of ٱلْحَقِّ the truth? وَلَا And not يَكُونُوا۟ they become كَٱلَّذِينَ like those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book مِن before, قَبْلُ before, فَطَالَ (and) was prolonged عَلَيْهِمُ for them ٱلْأَمَدُ the term, فَقَسَتْ so hardened قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts; وَكَثِيرٌ and many مِّنْهُمْ of them فَٰسِقُونَ (are) defiantly disobedient.
English - Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - क्या ईमान वालो के लिए वक़त नहीं आया कि उन के दिल अल्लाह की याद के लिए और उस सच के आगे जो उतरा है नरम हो जाऐं और न हो उन लोेगो की तरह जिन को पहले किताब दी गई फिर उन पर मुद्दत लमबी हो गई तो उन के दिल सख़त हो गए और उन में से ज़्यादातर नाफ़रमान हैं।.
Ayah 17
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ Know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يُحْىِ gives life ٱلْأَرْضَ (to) the earth بَعْدَ after مَوْتِهَا its death. قَدْ Indeed, بَيَّنَّا We have made clear لَكُمُ to you ٱلْءَايَٰتِ the Signs لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَعْقِلُونَ understand.
English - Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs; perhaps you will understand. .
हिंदी - जानलोए कि अल्लाह ज़मीन को उस की मौत के बाद ज़िन्दा करता है हम ने तुम्हारे लिए निशानियों को साफ़ण्साफ़ बयान किया हैए ताकि तुम अक़्ल से काम लो।.
Ayah 18
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ the men who give charity وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَٰتِ and the women who give charity, وَأَقْرَضُوا۟ and who lend ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah قَرْضًا a loan حَسَنًا goodly, يُضَٰعَفُ it will be multiplied لَهُمْ for them, وَلَهُمْ and for them أَجْرٌ (is) a reward كَرِيمٌ noble.
English - Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward. .
हिंदी - बेशक दान देने वाले मर्द और दान देने वाली औरतों में जिनहों ने अल्लाह को अच्छा क़र्ज़ दिया उन के लिए कई गुना बढ़ा दिया जाएगा और उन के लिए इज़्ज़त वाला बदला है।.
Ayah 19
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَرُسُلِهِۦٓ and His Messengers, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ [those] هُمُ they ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ (are) the truthful وَٱلشُّهَدَآءُ and the martyrs, عِندَ (are) with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord. لَهُمْ For them أَجْرُهُمْ (is) their reward وَنُورُهُمْ and their light. وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve وَكَذَّبُوا۟ and deny بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ Our Verses, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire.
English - And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers – those are [in the ranks of] the supporters of truth and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. But those who have disbelieved and denied Our verses – those are the companions of Hellfire. .
हिंदी - जो लोग अल्लाह और उसके रसूल पर ईमान लाएए वही लोग सच्चे और गवाही देने वाले हैं अपने रब के पासए उन के लिए उनका बदला और उनकी रौशनी है और जिन लोगों ने इन्कार किया और हमारी आयतों को झुठलायाए वही लोग भड़कती आग वाले हैं।.
Ayah 20
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ Know أَنَّمَا that ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world لَعِبٌ (is) play وَلَهْوٌ and amusement وَزِينَةٌ and adornment وَتَفَاخُرٌۢ and boasting بَيْنَكُمْ among you وَتَكَاثُرٌ and competition in increase فِى of ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ the wealth وَٱلْأَوْلَٰدِ and the children, كَمَثَلِ like (the) example غَيْثٍ (of) a rain, أَعْجَبَ pleases ٱلْكُفَّارَ the tillers نَبَاتُهُۥ its growth; ثُمَّ then يَهِيجُ it dries فَتَرَىٰهُ and you see it مُصْفَرًّا turning yellow; ثُمَّ then يَكُونُ becomes حُطَٰمًا debris. وَفِى And in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe وَمَغْفِرَةٌ and forgiveness مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَرِضْوَٰنٌ and Pleasure. وَمَا But not ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ (is) the life ٱلدُّنْيَآ (of) the world إِلَّا except مَتَٰعُ (the) enjoyment ٱلْغُرُورِ (of) delusion.
English - Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children – like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion. .
हिंदी - जानलोए दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी सिर्फ़ खेलए तमाशाए ऊपरी चमक और एक दूसरे पर बड़ाई जताना है माल और औलाद में एक दूसरे से आगे बढ़ जाने की कोशिश करना है उस बारिश की तरह है जिस की पैदावार किसान को अच्छी लगती है फिर यह पक जाती है तो तुम इस को पीला देखते होए फिर यह भूसा हो जाती है और अख़िरत में सख़त आज़ाब है और अल्लाह की तरफ़ से माफ़ी और रज़ामंदी हैए और दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी नहीं है मगर धोके का सामान।.
Ayah 21
سَابِقُوٓا۟ Race إِلَىٰ to مَغْفِرَةٍ (the) forgiveness مِّن from رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord وَجَنَّةٍ and a Garden عَرْضُهَا its width كَعَرْضِ (is) like (the) width ٱلسَّمَآءِ (of) the heaven وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, أُعِدَّتْ prepared لِلَّذِينَ for those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَرُسُلِهِۦ and His Messengers. ذَٰلِكَ That فَضْلُ (is the) Bounty ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, يُؤْتِيهِ He gives مَن (to) whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ذُو (is) the Possessor of Bounty, ٱلْفَضْلِ (is) the Possessor of Bounty, ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great.
English - Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. .
हिंदी - दौड़ो अपने रब की माफ़ी की तरफ़ और उस जन्नत की तरफ़ जिस की चौड़ाई आसमानो और ज़मीन की तरह है उन लोगों के लिए तय्यार की गई है जो अल्लाह और उस के रसूल पर ईमान लाए यह तो अल्लाह का उदार है जिस को चाहता है देता है और अल्लाह बड़ा उदार वाला है।.
Ayah 22
مَآ Not أَصَابَ strikes مِن any مُّصِيبَةٍ disaster فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَلَا and not فِىٓ in أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves, إِلَّا but فِى in كِتَٰبٍ a Register مِّن before قَبْلِ before أَن that نَّبْرَأَهَآ We bring it into existence. إِنَّ Indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَى for ٱللَّهِ Allah يَسِيرٌ (is) easy.
English - No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being – indeed that, for Allah, is easy – .
हिंदी - कोई मुसीबत नहीं पहुँचती ज़मीन में और न तुम्हारे ऊपर मगर वह किताब में लिखी हुई है इस से पहले कि हम उस को पैदा करेंए यक़ीनन यह अल्लाह के लिए आसान है।.
Ayah 23
لِّكَيْلَا So that you may not تَأْسَوْا۟ grieve عَلَىٰ over مَا what فَاتَكُمْ has escaped you, وَلَا and (do) not تَفْرَحُوا۟ exult بِمَآ at what ءَاتَىٰكُمْ He has given you. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ love كُلَّ every مُخْتَالٍ self-deluded فَخُورٍ boaster,
English - In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful – .
हिंदी - ताकि तुम उस चीज़ पर अफ़सोस न करो जो तुम से छुट गयी है और न इतराओ उस पर जो उस ने तुम को दिया है और अल्लाह किसी इतराने वाले बड़ाई जताने वाले को पसन्द नहीं करता।.
Ayah 24
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَبْخَلُونَ are stingy وَيَأْمُرُونَ and enjoin ٱلنَّاسَ (on) the people بِٱلْبُخْلِ stinginess. وَمَن And whoever يَتَوَلَّ turns away, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need, ٱلْحَمِيدُ the Praiseworthy.
English - [Those] who are stingy and enjoin upon people stinginess. And whoever turns away – then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. .
हिंदी - जो कंजूसी करते हैं और लोगों को कंजूसी के लिए उकसाते हैं और जो मुंह फेरेगा तो बेशक अल्लाह बहुत बेनियाज़ तारीफ़ के लायक़ है।.
Ayah 25
لَقَدْ Certainly أَرْسَلْنَا We sent رُسُلَنَا Our Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs وَأَنزَلْنَا and We sent down مَعَهُمُ with them ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Scripture وَٱلْمِيزَانَ and the Balance لِيَقُومَ that may establish ٱلنَّاسُ the people بِٱلْقِسْطِ justice. وَأَنزَلْنَا And We sent down ٱلْحَدِيدَ [the] iron, فِيهِ wherein بَأْسٌ (is) power شَدِيدٌ mighty وَمَنَٰفِعُ and benefits لِلنَّاسِ for the people, وَلِيَعْلَمَ and so that Allah may make evident ٱللَّهُ and so that Allah may make evident مَن (he) who يَنصُرُهُۥ helps Him وَرُسُلَهُۥ and His Messengers, بِٱلْغَيْبِ unseen. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah قَوِىٌّ (is) All-Strong عَزِيزٌ All-Mighty.
English - We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने अपने रसूलों को खुली दलीलों के साथ भेजा और हमने उन के साथ किताब और तराज़्ाू उतारा ताकि लोग इन्साफ़ पर क़ायम हों और हम ने लोहा उतारा जिसमें बड़ा ज़ोर है और लोगों के लिए फ़ायदा है ताकि अल्लाह जान ले कि कौन उसे देखे बिना उसकी और उसके रसूलों की मदद करता है बेशक अल्लाह ताक़तवर ज़्ाबरदस्त है।.
Ayah 26
وَلَقَدْ And certainly أَرْسَلْنَا We sent نُوحًا Nuh وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ and Ibrahim, وَجَعَلْنَا and We placed فِى in ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا their offspring ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ Prophethood وَٱلْكِتَٰبَ and the Scripture; فَمِنْهُم and among them مُّهْتَدٍ (is) a guided one, وَكَثِيرٌ but most مِّنْهُمْ of them فَٰسِقُونَ (are) defiantly disobediently.
English - And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - और हमने नूह और इबराहीम को भेजा, और हम ने उन की नस्ल में पैग़मबरी और किताब रख दी, तो उन में से कुछ ने हिदायत पाई, और ज़्यादातर उन में नाफ़रमान हैं।.
Ayah 27
ثُمَّ Then قَفَّيْنَا We sent عَلَىٰٓ on ءَاثَٰرِهِم their footsteps بِرُسُلِنَا Our Messengers وَقَفَّيْنَا and We followed بِعِيسَى with Isa, ٱبْنِ son مَرْيَمَ (of) Maryam, وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ and We gave him ٱلْإِنجِيلَ the Injeel. وَجَعَلْنَا And We placed فِى in قُلُوبِ (the) hearts ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who ٱتَّبَعُوهُ followed him رَأْفَةً compassion وَرَحْمَةً and mercy. وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً But monasticism ٱبْتَدَعُوهَا they innovated - مَا not كَتَبْنَٰهَا We prescribed it عَلَيْهِمْ for them - إِلَّا only ٱبْتِغَآءَ seeking رِضْوَٰنِ (the) pleasure ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, فَمَا but not رَعَوْهَا they observed it حَقَّ (with) right رِعَايَتِهَا observance. فَـَٔاتَيْنَا So We gave ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed مِنْهُمْ among them أَجْرَهُمْ their reward, وَكَثِيرٌ but most مِّنْهُمْ of them فَٰسِقُونَ (are) defiantly disobediently.
English - Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah. But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने उन के पीछे उन के पद चिन्हों पर अपने रसूलों को भेजा और उन के पीछे मरयम के बेटे ईसा को भेजा और हम ने उन को इंजील दीए और जिन लोगों ने उन की पैरवी की उनके दिलों में हमने नरमी और रहम दिली रख दीए और संन्यास को उनहों ने घड़ लिया उस को हम ने उन पर ज़रूरी नहीं किया था मगर अल्लाह की रज़ा मन्दी की चाहतए लेकीन उन्हों ने इस का जो हक़ था उसे अदा न कियाए जो उनमें से ईमान लाए हम ने उन्हें उनका बदला दियाए लेकीन उन में से ज़्यादातर नाफ़रमान हैं।.
Ayah 28
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe! ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear ٱللَّهَ Allah وَءَامِنُوا۟ and believe بِرَسُولِهِۦ in His Messenger; يُؤْتِكُمْ He will give you كِفْلَيْنِ double portion مِن of رَّحْمَتِهِۦ His Mercy وَيَجْعَل and He will make لَّكُمْ for you نُورًا a light, تَمْشُونَ you will walk بِهِۦ with it, وَيَغْفِرْ and He will forgive لَكُمْ you. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - O you who have believed, fear Allah and believe in His Messenger; He will [then] give you a double portion of His mercy and make for you a light by which you will walk and forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - एै ईमान वालो अल्लाह से डरो और उस के रसूल पर ईमान लाओए वह तुम्हें अपनी रहमत का दोहरा हिस्सा देगाए और तुम्हारे लिए एक रौशनी कर देगा जिस से तुम चलोगे और वह तुम्हें माफ़ कर देगा और अल्लाह माफ़ करने वाला रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 29
لِّئَلَّا So that يَعْلَمَ may know أَهْلُ (the) People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book أَلَّا that not يَقْدِرُونَ they have power عَلَىٰ over شَىْءٍ anything مِّن from فَضْلِ (the) Bounty ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَأَنَّ and that ٱلْفَضْلَ the Bounty بِيَدِ (is) in Allah's Hand; ٱللَّهِ (is) in Allah's Hand; يُؤْتِيهِ He gives it مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ذُو (is) the Possessor of Bounty ٱلْفَضْلِ (is) the Possessor of Bounty ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great.
English - [This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allah and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty. .
हिंदी - ताकि किताब वाले जानलें कि अल्लाह के उदार पर उनका कोई उकधिकार नहीं हैए और उदार तो अल्लाह के हाथ में हैए जिस को चाहता है देता है और अल्लाह बड़ा उदार वाला है।.
