Ayah 1
قٓ Qaf. وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ By the Quran, ٱلْمَجِيدِ the Glorious.
English - Qaf. By the honored Qur’an… .
हिंदी - क़ाफ़ए क़सम है क़ुरान मजीद की।.
Ayah 2
بَلْ Nay, عَجِبُوٓا۟ they wonder أَن that جَآءَهُم has come to them مُّنذِرٌ a warner مِّنْهُمْ from them. فَقَالَ So say ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers, هَٰذَا "This شَىْءٌ (is) a thing عَجِيبٌ amazing.
English - But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. .
हिंदी - बल्कि उन लोगों ने ताज्जुब किया कि उन मे से एक डराने वाला इनके पास आया तो काफ़िर लोग कहने लगे यह तो अजीब चीज़ है।.
Ayah 3
أَءِذَا What! When مِتْنَا we die وَكُنَّا and have become تُرَابًا dust. ذَٰلِكَ That رَجْعٌۢ (is) a return بَعِيدٌ far."
English - When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." .
हिंदी - क्या जब हम मर जाएँगे और मिट्टी हो जाएँगे यह वापसी तो बहुत दूर की बात है।.
Ayah 4
قَدْ Certainly, عَلِمْنَا We know مَا what تَنقُصُ diminishes ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth مِنْهُمْ of them, وَعِندَنَا and with Us كِتَٰبٌ (is) a Book حَفِيظٌۢ guarded.
English - We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. .
हिंदी - ज़मीन उन में से जो कम करती है वह हम ख़ूब जानते हैं और हमारे पास महफ़ूज़ किताब है।.
Ayah 5
بَلْ Nay, كَذَّبُوا۟ they denied بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth لَمَّا when جَآءَهُمْ it came (to) them, فَهُمْ so they فِىٓ (are) in أَمْرٍ a state مَّرِيجٍ confused.
English - But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. .
हिंदी - बल्कि उन्हों ने हक़ को झुठलाया जब उन के पास आया और वह उलझी हुई बात में पड़े हैं।.
Ayah 6
أَفَلَمْ Then do not يَنظُرُوٓا۟ they look إِلَى at ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky فَوْقَهُمْ above them - كَيْفَ how بَنَيْنَٰهَا We structured it وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا and adorned it وَمَا and not لَهَا for it مِن any فُرُوجٍ rifts?
English - Have they not looked at the heaven above them – how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? .
हिंदी - क्या उन्हांे ने अपने ऊपर आसमान को नहीं देखा कि किस तरह उस को हम ने बनाया और सजाया जिस में कोई दरार नहीं है।.
Ayah 7
وَٱلْأَرْضَ And the earth, مَدَدْنَٰهَا We have spread it out وَأَلْقَيْنَا and cast فِيهَا therein رَوَٰسِىَ firmly set mountains وَأَنۢبَتْنَا and We made to grow فِيهَا therein مِن of كُلِّ every زَوْجٍۭ kind بَهِيجٍ beautiful,
English - And the earth – We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, .
हिंदी - और ज़मीन को हम ने बिछाया और उस में पहाड़ रख दिए और उस में हम ने तमाम ख़ूबसूरत जोडे़ उगाए।.
Ayah 8
تَبْصِرَةً Giving insight وَذِكْرَىٰ and a reminder لِكُلِّ for every عَبْدٍ slave مُّنِيبٍ who turns.
English - Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. .
हिंदी - यह आँखें खोलने वाली है और नसीहत है हर तौबा करने वाले बंदे के लिए।.
Ayah 9
وَنَزَّلْنَا And We have sent down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water مُّبَٰرَكًا blessed, فَأَنۢبَتْنَا then We made to grow بِهِۦ thereby جَنَّٰتٍ gardens وَحَبَّ and grain ٱلْحَصِيدِ (for) the harvest,
English - And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest .
हिंदी - और हम ने आसमान से बरकत वाला पानी उताराए तो उस से हम ने बाग़ और फ़सल के अनाज पैदा किए ।.
Ayah 10
وَٱلنَّخْلَ And the palms trees بَاسِقَٰتٍ tall - لَّهَا for it طَلْعٌ (are) layers نَّضِيدٌ arranged.
English - And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers – .
हिंदी - और ऊँचे ऊँचे खजूर के पेड जिनके गुच्छे तह पर तह होते हैं।.
Ayah 11
رِّزْقًا A provision لِّلْعِبَادِ for the slaves, وَأَحْيَيْنَا and We give life بِهِۦ therewith بَلْدَةً (to) a land مَّيْتًا dead. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus ٱلْخُرُوجُ (will be) the coming forth.
English - As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. .
हिंदी - बंदों की रोज़ी के लिए और इस से हम ने मुर्दा ज़मीन को ज़िंदा किया और इसी तरह निकलना है।.
Ayah 12
كَذَّبَتْ Denied قَبْلَهُمْ before them قَوْمُ (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh وَأَصْحَٰبُ and (the) companions ٱلرَّسِّ (of) Ar-Raas وَثَمُودُ and Thamud,
English - The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamūd .
हिंदी - इस से पहले नूह की क़ौम रस वाले और समूद ने झुठलाया।.
Ayah 13
وَعَادٌ And Aad وَفِرْعَوْنُ and Firaun وَإِخْوَٰنُ and (the) brothers لُوطٍ (of) Lut,
English - And ‘Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot .
हिंदी - और आद और फ़िरओन और लूत के भईयों ने।.
Ayah 14
وَأَصْحَٰبُ And (the) companions ٱلْأَيْكَةِ (of) the wood وَقَوْمُ and (the) people تُبَّعٍ (of) Tubba. كُلٌّ All كَذَّبَ denied ٱلرُّسُلَ the Messengers, فَحَقَّ so was fulfilled وَعِيدِ My Threat.
English - And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba‘. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. .
हिंदी - और बाग़ वाले और तुब्बा वाले हर एक ने रसूलों को झुठलाया तो मेरी धमकी पूरी हो कर रही।.
Ayah 15
أَفَعَيِينَا Were We then tired بِٱلْخَلْقِ with the creation ٱلْأَوَّلِ the first? بَلْ Nay, هُمْ they فِى (are) in لَبْسٍ doubt مِّنْ about خَلْقٍ a creation جَدِيدٍ new.
English - Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. .
हिंदी - क्या हम पहली बार पैदा करके थक गए बल्कि यह लोग नई पैदाइश के बारे में शक में पड़े हुए हैं।.
Ayah 16
وَلَقَدْ And certainly خَلَقْنَا We created ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ man وَنَعْلَمُ and We know مَا what تُوَسْوِسُ whispers بِهِۦ to him نَفْسُهُۥ his soul, وَنَحْنُ and We أَقْرَبُ (are) nearer إِلَيْهِ to him مِنْ than حَبْلِ (his) jugular vein. ٱلْوَرِيدِ (his) jugular vein.
English - And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein .
हिंदी - हम ने इन्सान को पैदा किया, और हम जानते हैं जो वसवसा उस के दिल में होता है, और हम उस की रगे जाँ से ज़्यादा क़रीब हैं।.
Ayah 17
إِذْ When يَتَلَقَّى receive ٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ the two receivers عَنِ on ٱلْيَمِينِ the right وَعَنِ and on ٱلشِّمَالِ the left قَعِيدٌ seated.
English - When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. .
हिंदी - जब दो लेने वाले लेते रहते हैं जो दाएँ और बाएँ बैठे हैं।.
Ayah 18
مَّا Not يَلْفِظُ he utters مِن any قَوْلٍ word إِلَّا but لَدَيْهِ with him رَقِيبٌ (is) an observer عَتِيدٌ ready.
English - Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. .
हिंदी - वह कोई बात नहीं बोलता मगर उस के सामने एक निगरान तय्यार होता है।.
Ayah 19
وَجَآءَتْ And will come سَكْرَةُ (the) stupor ٱلْمَوْتِ (of) death بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, ذَٰلِكَ "That مَا (is) what كُنتَ you were مِنْهُ [from it] تَحِيدُ avoiding."
English - And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. .
हिंदी - और मौत की सख़्ती सच मुच आ गई यह वह चीज़ है जिस से तू भागता था।.
Ayah 20
وَنُفِخَ And will be blown فِى [in] ٱلصُّورِ the trumpet. ذَٰلِكَ That يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلْوَعِيدِ (of) the Warning.
English - And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. .
हिंदी - फिर सूर फूँका गया यही वादे का दिन है।.
Ayah 21
وَجَآءَتْ And will come كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul, مَّعَهَا with it سَآئِقٌ a driver وَشَهِيدٌ and a witness.
English - And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. .
हिंदी - और हर शख़्स आएगा उस के साथ उस का हाँकने वाला और गवाह होगा।.
Ayah 22
لَّقَدْ "Certainly كُنتَ you were فِى in غَفْلَةٍ heedlessness مِّنْ of هَٰذَا this. فَكَشَفْنَا So We have removed عَنكَ from you غِطَآءَكَ your cover, فَبَصَرُكَ so your sight ٱلْيَوْمَ today حَدِيدٌ (is) sharp."
English - [It will be said], “You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp.” .
हिंदी - तू उस से बेख़बर था अब हम ने तुझ से परदा ऊठा दिया हैए तो आज तेरी निगाह तेज़ है।.
Ayah 23
وَقَالَ And (will) say قَرِينُهُۥ his companion, هَٰذَا "This مَا (is) what لَدَىَّ (is) with me عَتِيدٌ ready."
English - And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." .
हिंदी - और उस का साथी कहेगा यह है जो मेरे पास तय्यार है।.
Ayah 24
أَلْقِيَا "Throw فِى in (to) جَهَنَّمَ Hell كُلَّ every كَفَّارٍ disbeliever عَنِيدٍ stubborn,
English - [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, .
हिंदी - हर सरकश और काफ़िर को जहन्नम में डाल दो।.
Ayah 25
مَّنَّاعٍ Forbidder لِّلْخَيْرِ of good, مُعْتَدٍ transgressor مُّرِيبٍ doubter,
English - Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, .
हिंदी - जो नेकी से रोकने वाला हद से बढ़ने वाला शक करने वाला है।.
Ayah 26
ٱلَّذِى Who جَعَلَ made مَعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah إِلَٰهًا a god ءَاخَرَ another; فَأَلْقِيَاهُ so throw him فِى in(to) ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment ٱلشَّدِيدِ the severe."
English - Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." .
हिंदी - जिस ने अल्लाह के साथ दूसरा पूज्य बनायाए तो उस को सख़्त आज़ाब में फेंक दो।.
Ayah 27
قَالَ Will say قَرِينُهُۥ his companion, رَبَّنَا "Our Lord, مَآ not أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ I made him transgress, وَلَٰكِن but كَانَ he was فِى in ضَلَٰلٍۭ error بَعِيدٍ far."
English - His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." .
हिंदी - उस का साथी कहेगा एै हमारे रब मैं ने उस को नहीं बहकाया बल्कि यह गुमराही में पड़ा हुआ था।.
Ayah 28
قَالَ He will say, لَا "(Do) not تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ dispute لَدَىَّ (in) My presence وَقَدْ and indeed, قَدَّمْتُ I sent forth إِلَيْكُم to you بِٱلْوَعِيدِ the Warning.
English - [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. .
हिंदी - वह कहेगा मेरे पास मत झगड़ा करो मैं पहले ही तुम्हें डऱा चुका हूँ।.
Ayah 29
مَا Not يُبَدَّلُ will be changed ٱلْقَوْلُ the word لَدَىَّ with Me, وَمَآ and not أَنَا۠ I Am بِظَلَّٰمٍ unjust لِّلْعَبِيدِ to My slaves."
English - The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." .
हिंदी - मेरे पास बात बदली नहीं जाती, और मैं बंदों पर ज़्ाुल्म नहीं करता।.
Ayah 30
يَوْمَ (The) Day نَقُولُ We will say لِجَهَنَّمَ to Hell, هَلِ "Are ٱمْتَلَأْتِ you filled?" وَتَقُولُ And it will say, هَلْ "Are مِن (there) any مَّزِيدٍ more?"
English - On the Day We will say to Hell, "Have you been filled?" and it will say, "Are there some more," .
हिंदी - जिस दिन मैं जहन्नम से कहूँगा क्या तू भर चुकी तो वह कहेगी क्या और भी है.
Ayah 31
وَأُزْلِفَتِ And will be brought near ٱلْجَنَّةُ the Paradise لِلْمُتَّقِينَ to the righteous, غَيْرَ not بَعِيدٍ far.
English - And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far, .
हिंदी - और जन्नत परहेज़्गारों के लिए क़रीब लाई जाएगीए दूर न होगी।.
Ayah 32
هَٰذَا "This مَا (is) what تُوعَدُونَ you were promised, لِكُلِّ for everyone أَوَّابٍ who turns حَفِيظٍ (and) who keeps,
English - [It will be said], "This is what you were promised – for every returner [to Allah] and keeper [of His covenant] .
हिंदी - यह वह है जिस का तुम से वादा था हर तौबा करने वाले हिफ़ाज़त करने वाले के लिए।.
Ayah 33
مَّنْ Who خَشِىَ feared ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ the Most Gracious بِٱلْغَيْبِ in the unseen, وَجَآءَ and came بِقَلْبٍ with a heart مُّنِيبٍ returning.
English - Who feared the Most Merciful unseen and came with a heart returning [in repentance]. .
हिंदी - जो बिन देखे रहमान से डरा और तौबा करने वाला दिल ले कर आया।.
Ayah 34
ٱدْخُلُوهَا Enter it بِسَلَٰمٍ in peace. ذَٰلِكَ That يَوْمُ (is) a Day ٱلْخُلُودِ (of) Eternity."
English - Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity." .
हिंदी - सलामती से दाख़िल हो जाओ यह हमेशा रहने का दिन है।.
Ayah 35
لَهُم For them مَّا whatever يَشَآءُونَ they wish فِيهَا therein وَلَدَيْنَا and with Us مَزِيدٌ (is) more.
English - They will have whatever they wish therein, and with Us is more. .
हिंदी - उस में उनके लिए वह सब कुछ होगा जो वह चाहेंगे और हमारे पास और भी है।.
Ayah 36
وَكَمْ And how many أَهْلَكْنَا We destroyed قَبْلَهُم before them مِّن of قَرْنٍ a generation, هُمْ they أَشَدُّ (were) stronger مِنْهُم than them بَطْشًا (in) power. فَنَقَّبُوا۟ so they explored فِى throughout ٱلْبِلَٰدِ the lands. هَلْ Is (there) مِن any مَّحِيصٍ place of escape?
English - And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape? .
हिंदी - इन से पहले हम ने कितनी क़ौमें तबाह कर दीं वह उन से ज़्यादा ताक़तवर थे और उन्हों ने शहरों की ख़ाक छान मारी क्या कहीं भागने की जगह है घ्.
Ayah 37
إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَذِكْرَىٰ surely, is a reminder لِمَن for (one) who, كَانَ is - لَهُۥ for him قَلْبٌ a heart أَوْ or أَلْقَى (who) gives ear ٱلسَّمْعَ (who) gives ear وَهُوَ while he شَهِيدٌ (is) a witness.
English - Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind]. .
हिंदी - इस में नसीहत है उस के लिए जो दिल रखता है या जो तवज्जो से सुनता है।.
Ayah 38
وَلَقَدْ And certainly, خَلَقْنَا We created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between both of them فِى in سِتَّةِ six أَيَّامٍ periods, وَمَا and (did) not مَسَّنَا touch Us مِن any لُّغُوبٍ fatigue.
English - And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness. .
हिंदी - हम ने असमानो और ज़मीन को पैदा किया और जो कुछ उन के बिच में है, छै दिन में, और हमें थकान ने छुआ तक नहीं।.
Ayah 39
فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient عَلَىٰ over مَا what يَقُولُونَ they say وَسَبِّحْ and glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praise رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord, قَبْلَ before طُلُوعِ (the) rising ٱلشَّمْسِ (of) the sun وَقَبْلَ and before ٱلْغُرُوبِ the setting,
English - So be patient, [O Muhammad], over what they say and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting, .
हिंदी - जो वह कहते हैं उस पर सब्र करो और अपने रब की तरीफ़ के साथ महिमा करो सूरज निकलने से पहले और उस के छिपने से पहले।.
Ayah 40
وَمِنَ And of ٱلَّيْلِ the night فَسَبِّحْهُ glorify Him وَأَدْبَٰرَ and after ٱلسُّجُودِ the prostration.
English - And [in part] of the night exalt Him and after prostration. .
हिंदी - और रात में उस की महिमा करो और सजदों के बाद भी।.
Ayah 41
وَٱسْتَمِعْ And listen! يَوْمَ (The) Day يُنَادِ will call ٱلْمُنَادِ the caller مِن from مَّكَانٍ a place قَرِيبٍ near,
English - And listen on the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near – .
हिंदी - और सुनो जिस दिन पुकारने वाला पास से पुकारेगा।.
Ayah 42
يَوْمَ (The) Day يَسْمَعُونَ they will hear ٱلصَّيْحَةَ the Blast بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth. ذَٰلِكَ That يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلْخُرُوجِ (of) coming forth.
English - The Day they will hear the blast [of the Horn] in truth. That is the Day of Emergence [from the graves]. .
हिंदी - जिस दिन वह हक़ीक़त में चिंघाड़ सूनेंगे वही निकलने का दिन होगा।.
Ayah 43
إِنَّا Indeed, We نَحْنُ [We] نُحْىِۦ [We] give life وَنُمِيتُ and [We] cause death, وَإِلَيْنَا and to Us ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the final return.
English - Indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and to Us is the destination .
हिंदी - हम ही जिं़दा करते हैं और मौत देते हैं और हमारी ही ओर लौट कर आना है।.
Ayah 44
يَوْمَ (The) Day تَشَقَّقُ will split ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth عَنْهُمْ from them, سِرَاعًا hurrying. ذَٰلِكَ That حَشْرٌ (is) a gathering عَلَيْنَا for Us يَسِيرٌ easy.
English - On the Day the earth breaks away from them [and they emerge] rapidly; that is a gathering easy for Us. .
हिंदी - जिस दिन उन पर ज़मीन फट जाएगी इस हाल में कि वह भाग रहे होंगे यह इकळा करना हमारे लिए बहुत आसान है।.
Ayah 45
نَّحْنُ We أَعْلَمُ know best بِمَا [of] what يَقُولُونَ they say, وَمَآ and not أَنتَ (are) you عَلَيْهِم over them بِجَبَّارٍ the one to compel. فَذَكِّرْ But remind بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ with the Quran مَن whoever يَخَافُ fears وَعِيدِ My threat.
English - We are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur’an whoever fears My threat. .
हिंदी - हम ख़ूब जानते हैं जो वह कहते हैं, और तुम उन पर ज़्ाबरदसती करने वाले नहीं हो, तो जो मेरी धमकी से डरता है तो क़ुरान से उसे नसीहत करो।.
