Ayah 1
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve وَصَدُّوا۟ and turn away عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way of Allah, ٱللَّهِ (the) way of Allah, أَضَلَّ He will cause to be lost أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds.
English - Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah – He will waste their deeds. .
हिंदी - जिन्होंने इंकार किया, और अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोका, उस ने उन के कर्मों को बर्बाद कर दिया।.
Ayah 2
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds, وَءَامَنُوا۟ and believe بِمَا in what نُزِّلَ is revealed عَلَىٰ to مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad, وَهُوَ and it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth مِن from رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord, كَفَّرَ He will remove عَنْهُمْ from them سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ their misdeeds, وَأَصْلَحَ and improve بَالَهُمْ their condition.
English - And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad – and it is the truth from their Lord – He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition. .
हिंदी - और जोे ईमान लाए, और अच्छे काम किए, और जो मुहम्मद पर उतारा गया उस पर ईमान लाए, और वह हक़ है उन के रब की तरफ़ से, उस ने उन की बुराइयाँ उन से दूर कर दीं, और उन का हाल ठीक कर दिया।.
Ayah 3
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّ (is) because ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ follow ٱلْبَٰطِلَ falsehood وَأَنَّ and that ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ follow ٱلْحَقَّ (the) truth مِن from رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يَضْرِبُ Allah presents ٱللَّهُ Allah presents لِلنَّاسِ to the people أَمْثَٰلَهُمْ their similitudes.
English - That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons. .
हिंदी - यह इस लिए कि इंकार करने वाले झूठ के पीछे चले, और जो ईमान लाया वह अपने रब की तरफ़ से हक़ पर चला, इसी तरह अल्लाह लोगों के लिए उनकी मिसालें बयान करता है।.
Ayah 4
فَإِذَا So when لَقِيتُمُ you meet ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, فَضَرْبَ then strike ٱلرِّقَابِ the necks حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَآ when أَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْ you have subdued them, فَشُدُّوا۟ then bind firmly ٱلْوَثَاقَ the bond, فَإِمَّا then either مَنًّۢا a favor بَعْدُ afterwards وَإِمَّا or فِدَآءً ransom حَتَّىٰ until تَضَعَ lays down ٱلْحَرْبُ the war أَوْزَارَهَا its burdens. ذَٰلِكَ That. وَلَوْ And if يَشَآءُ Allah had willed ٱللَّهُ Allah had willed لَٱنتَصَرَ surely, He could have taken retribution مِنْهُمْ from them, وَلَٰكِن but لِّيَبْلُوَا۟ to test بَعْضَكُم some of you بِبَعْضٍ with others. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who قُتِلُوا۟ are killed فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way of Allah, ٱللَّهِ (the) way of Allah, فَلَن then never يُضِلَّ He will cause to be lost أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds.
English - So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah – never will He waste their deeds. .
हिंदी - जब तुम्हारी काफ़िरों से मुठभेड़ हो, तो गरदनें मारो, यहाँ तक की जब तुम उन को निढ़ाल कर दो, तो बेड़ीयों में जकड़ दो फिर या तो इस के बाद एहसान कर के छोड़ दो या फ़िदया ले कर, यहाँ तक कि जंग अपने बोझ उतार कर रख दे, और अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो उन से बदला ले लेता, ताकि तुम को एक दूसरे से आज़माए, और जो अल्लाह के रास्ते में मारे गए उन के कर्मों को हरगिज़ बर्बाद न करेगा।.
Ayah 5
سَيَهْدِيهِمْ He will guide them وَيُصْلِحُ and improve بَالَهُمْ their condition,
English - He will guide them and amend their condition .
हिंदी - जलद उन्हें रास्ता दिखाएगा, और उन का हाल ठीक कर देगा।.
Ayah 6
وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ And admit them ٱلْجَنَّةَ (to) Paradise, عَرَّفَهَا He has made it known لَهُمْ to them.
English - And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them. .
हिंदी - और उन को एैसी जन्नत में दाख़िल करेगा जिन की उन्हें पहचान करा चुका है।.
Ayah 7
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوٓا۟ O you who believe! إِن If تَنصُرُوا۟ you help ٱللَّهَ Allah, يَنصُرْكُمْ He will help you وَيُثَبِّتْ and make firm أَقْدَامَكُمْ your feet.
English - O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet. .
हिंदी - एै ईमान वालो, अगर तुम अल्लाह की मदद करोगे तो वह तुम्हारी मदद करेगा, और वह तुम्हारे क़दमों को जमा देगा।.
Ayah 8
وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, فَتَعْسًا destruction (is) لَّهُمْ for them, وَأَضَلَّ and He will cause to be lost أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds.
English - But those who disbelieve – for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds. .
हिंदी - और जिन लोगों ने इंकार कियाए तो उन के लिए तबाही हैए और वह उन के कर्मों को बर्बाद कर देगा।.
Ayah 9
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they كَرِهُوا۟ hate مَآ what أَنزَلَ Allah has revealed, ٱللَّهُ Allah has revealed, فَأَحْبَطَ so He has made worthless أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds.
English - That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds. .
हिंदी - यह इस लिए कि अल्लाह ने जो उतारा उन्होंने उसे नापसंद किया तो उस ने उन के कर्मों को बर्बाद कर दिया।.
Ayah 10
أَفَلَمْ Do not يَسِيرُوا۟ they travel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth فَيَنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those مِن before them? قَبْلِهِمْ before them? دَمَّرَ Allah destroyed ٱللَّهُ Allah destroyed عَلَيْهِمْ [over] them, وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ and for the disbelievers أَمْثَٰلُهَا its likeness.
English - Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable. .
हिंदी - क्या वह ज़मीन में चले फिरे नहीं कि वह देखते कि उन से पहले वालों का क्या अंजाम हुआ, अल्लाह ने उन्हें तहस नहस कर दिया और इंकार करने वालों के साथ एैसा ही होता है।.
Ayah 11
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّ (is) because ٱللَّهَ Allah مَوْلَى (is the) Protector ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe, وَأَنَّ and that ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers - لَا (there is) no مَوْلَىٰ protector لَهُمْ for them.
English - That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector. .
हिंदी - यह इस लिए कि अल्लाह ईमान वालों का मदद करने वाला है, और इंकार करने वालों का कोई संरक्षक नहीं।.
Ayah 12
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُدْخِلُ will admit ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds جَنَّٰتٍ (to) Gardens, تَجْرِى flow مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, وَٱلَّذِينَ but those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve يَتَمَتَّعُونَ they enjoy وَيَأْكُلُونَ and eat كَمَا as تَأْكُلُ eat ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ the cattle, وَٱلنَّارُ and the Fire مَثْوًى (will be) an abode لَّهُمْ for them.
English - Indeed, Allah will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ईमान वालों को और नेक काम करने वालों को एैसी जन्नत में दाख़िल करेगा जिस के नीचे नहरंे बहती हैं और जिन्होंने इंकार किया वह मज़े कर रहे हैं और वह एैसे खाते हैं जैसे जानवर खाते हैं और आग उन के लिए ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 13
وَكَأَيِّن And how many مِّن of قَرْيَةٍ a town, هِىَ which أَشَدُّ (was) stronger قُوَّةً (in) strength مِّن than قَرْيَتِكَ your town ٱلَّتِىٓ which أَخْرَجَتْكَ has driven you out? أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ We destroyed them, فَلَا so no نَاصِرَ helper لَهُمْ for them.
English - And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them. .
हिंदी - और कितनी एैसी बसतीयाँ थीं जो तुम्हारी बसती से ज्यादा ताक़तवर थींए जिस ने तुम्हें निकाल दिया हम ने उन को तहस नहस कर दिया तो कोई उन का सहायक नहीं था।.
Ayah 14
أَفَمَن Then is (he) who كَانَ is عَلَىٰ on بَيِّنَةٍ a clear proof مِّن from رَّبِّهِۦ his Lord كَمَن like (he) who, زُيِّنَ is made attractive لَهُۥ to him سُوٓءُ (the) evil عَمَلِهِۦ (of) his deeds وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ while they follow أَهْوَآءَهُم their desires.
English - So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires? .
हिंदी - क्या वह जो अपने रब की तरफ़ से खुले रास्ते पर होए उस शख़्स की तरह हो सकता है जिस के बुरे काम अच्छे कर के दिखाए जाऐं और वह लोग अपनी ख़्वाहिशों पर चलते हैं।.
Ayah 15
مَّثَلُ A parable ٱلْجَنَّةِ (of) Paradise ٱلَّتِى which وُعِدَ is promised ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ (to) the righteous. فِيهَآ Therein أَنْهَٰرٌ (are) rivers مِّن of مَّآءٍ water غَيْرِ not ءَاسِنٍ polluted, وَأَنْهَٰرٌ and rivers مِّن of لَّبَنٍ milk لَّمْ not يَتَغَيَّرْ changes طَعْمُهُۥ its taste, وَأَنْهَٰرٌ and rivers مِّنْ of خَمْرٍ wine لَّذَّةٍ delicious لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ for (the) drinkers, وَأَنْهَٰرٌ and rivers مِّنْ of عَسَلٍ honey مُّصَفًّى purified, وَلَهُمْ and for them فِيهَا therein مِن of كُلِّ all ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ fruits وَمَغْفِرَةٌ and forgiveness مِّن from رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord كَمَنْ like he who هُوَ like he who خَٰلِدٌ (will) abide forever فِى in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire وَسُقُوا۟ and they will be given to drink مَآءً water حَمِيمًا boiling فَقَطَّعَ so it cuts into pieces أَمْعَآءَهُمْ their intestines.
English - Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines? .
हिंदी - उस जन्नत का हाल जिस का परहेज़गार लोगों से वादा किया गया हैए कि उस में एैसी पानी की नहरें हैं जो ख़राब न हांेगीए और एैसी दूध की नहरें हैं जिन का मज़ा नहीं बदलेगाए और एैसी शराब की नहरें हैं जो पीने वाले के लिए मज़ेदार होंगीए और ख़ालिस शहद की नहरें होंगीए और वहाँ उन के लिए हर तरह के फल हैं और उन के रब की तरफ़ से माफ़ी हैए क्या वह उस की तरह होंगे जो आग में हमेंश रहेगा और उन को खौलता पानी पिलाया जाएगाए तो वह उन की आंतों को काट दालेगा।.
Ayah 16
وَمِنْهُم And among them مَّن (are some) who يَسْتَمِعُ listen إِلَيْكَ to you, حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَا when خَرَجُوا۟ they depart مِنْ from عِندِكَ you, قَالُوا۟ they say لِلَّذِينَ to those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْعِلْمَ the knowledge, مَاذَا "What قَالَ (has) he said ءَانِفًا just now?" أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those - ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones طَبَعَ Allah has set a seal ٱللَّهُ Allah has set a seal عَلَىٰ upon قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ and they follow أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires.
English - And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires. .
हिंदी - और उन में वह भी हैं जो ग़ौर से तुम्हें सनते हैं, फिर जब तुम्हारे पास से निकलते हैं तो जिन को इल्म दिया गया है उन से कहतें हैं कि “उन्हों ने अभी क्या कहा”? यह वह लोग हैं जिन के दिलों पर अल्लाह ने ठप्पा लगा दिया है, और वह अपनी ख़्वाहिशों पर चलते हैं।.
Ayah 17
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ accept guidance, زَادَهُمْ He increases them هُدًى (in) guidance وَءَاتَىٰهُمْ and gives them تَقْوَىٰهُمْ their righteousness.
English - And those who are guided – He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness. .
हिंदी - और जो लोग रास्ते पर आ गए, अल्लाह उन्हें और हिदायत देता है, और उन्हें परहेज़्ागारी देता है।.
Ayah 18
فَهَلْ Then do يَنظُرُونَ they wait إِلَّا but ٱلسَّاعَةَ (for) the Hour أَن that تَأْتِيَهُم it should come to them بَغْتَةً suddenly? فَقَدْ But indeed, جَآءَ have come أَشْرَاطُهَا its indications. فَأَنَّىٰ Then how لَهُمْ to them إِذَا when جَآءَتْهُمْ has come to them ذِكْرَىٰهُمْ their reminder.
English - Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance? .
हिंदी - वह क़यामत के इंतिज़ार में हैं की वह उन पर अचानक आजाए, तो उस की निशानियाँ आ ही चुकी हैं, फिर जब वह आगई तो उन का समझना क्या फ़ाएदा देगा।.
Ayah 19
فَٱعْلَمْ So know أَنَّهُۥ that [He] - لَآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا but ٱللَّهُ Allah وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ and ask forgiveness لِذَنۢبِكَ for your sin وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ and for the believing men وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ and the believing women. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَعْلَمُ knows مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ your movement وَمَثْوَىٰكُمْ and your resting places.
English - So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows of your movement and your resting place. .
हिंदी - जान लो कि नहीं है कोई पूज्य मगर अल्लाह, और अपने गुनाहों के लिए माफ़ी मांगो, और ईमान वाले मर्दों और ईमान वाली औरतों के लिए भी, और अल्लाह तुम्हारे चलने फिरने और तुम्हारे ठिकाने को भी जानता है।.
Ayah 20
وَيَقُولُ And say ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe, لَوْلَا "Why not نُزِّلَتْ has been revealed سُورَةٌ a Surah?" فَإِذَآ But when أُنزِلَتْ is revealed سُورَةٌ a Surah مُّحْكَمَةٌ precise وَذُكِرَ and is mentioned فِيهَا in it ٱلْقِتَالُ the fighting, رَأَيْتَ you see ٱلَّذِينَ those who, فِى in قُلُوبِهِم their hearts, مَّرَضٌ (is) a disease يَنظُرُونَ looking إِلَيْكَ at you - نَظَرَ a look ٱلْمَغْشِىِّ (of) one fainting عَلَيْهِ (of) one fainting مِنَ from ٱلْمَوْتِ the death. فَأَوْلَىٰ But more appropriate لَهُمْ for them
English - Those who believe say, "Why has a sūrah not been sent down? But when a precise sūrah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death. And more appropriate for them [would have been] .
हिंदी - और ईमान वाले कहते हैं, “कोई सूरत क्यूऊ नहीं उतारी जाती” फिर जब खुली हुई सूरत उतरती है, और उस में जंग का ज़िक्र होता है, जिन लोगों के दिलों में बीमारी है, वह तुम्हारी ओर इस तरह देख रहें हैं जैसे किसी पर मौत छा गई हो, तो इन के लिए बेहतर है,.
Ayah 21
طَاعَةٌ (Is) obedience وَقَوْلٌ and a word مَّعْرُوفٌ kind. فَإِذَا And when عَزَمَ (is) determined ٱلْأَمْرُ the matter, فَلَوْ then if صَدَقُوا۟ they had been true ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah, لَكَانَ surely, it would have been خَيْرًا better لَّهُمْ for them.
English - Obedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them. .
हिंदी - कि बात मानें और अच्छी बात कहें, फिर जब बात पक्की हो जाए, तो अगर वह अल्लाह के लिए सच्चे साबित रहें तो उन के लिए अच्छा है।.
Ayah 22
فَهَلْ Then would عَسَيْتُمْ you perhaps, إِن if تَوَلَّيْتُمْ you are given authority أَن that تُفْسِدُوا۟ you cause corruption فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟ and cut off أَرْحَامَكُمْ your ties of kinship.
English - So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship? .
हिंदी - अगर तुम उलटे मुँह फिर गए, तो तुम से यह उम्मीद है कि तुम ज़मीन में बिगाड़ पैदा करोगे, और अपने रिशतों को तोड़ डालो।.
Ayah 23
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those, ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones لَعَنَهُمُ Allah has cursed them, ٱللَّهُ Allah has cursed them, فَأَصَمَّهُمْ so He made them deaf وَأَعْمَىٰٓ and blinded أَبْصَٰرَهُمْ their vision.
English - Those [who do so] are the ones that Allah has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision. .
हिंदी - यही लोग हैं जिन पर अल्लाह ने लानत की, और उनको बहरा और अंधा बना दिया।.
Ayah 24
أَفَلَا Then do not يَتَدَبَّرُونَ they ponder ٱلْقُرْءَانَ (over) the Quran أَمْ or عَلَىٰ upon قُلُوبٍ (their) hearts أَقْفَالُهَآ (are) locks?
English - Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts? .
हिंदी - क्या यह लोग क़ुरान में ग़ौर नहीं करते या दिलों पर ताले लगे हैं।.
Ayah 25
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱرْتَدُّوا۟ return عَلَىٰٓ on أَدْبَٰرِهِم their backs مِّنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا what تَبَيَّنَ (has) become clear لَهُمُ to them ٱلْهُدَى (of) the guidance, ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ Shaitaan سَوَّلَ enticed لَهُمْ [for] them وَأَمْلَىٰ and prolonged hope لَهُمْ for them.
English - Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them – Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them. .
हिंदी - जो लोग हिदायत ज़ाहिर हो जाने के बाद पीछे की तरफ पलटे हैं, शैतान ने उन को पट्टी पढ़ाई, और उन को उम्मीद में रखा।.
Ayah 26
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they قَالُوا۟ [they] said لِلَّذِينَ to those who كَرِهُوا۟ hate مَا what نَزَّلَ Allah has revealed, ٱللَّهُ Allah has revealed, سَنُطِيعُكُمْ "We will obey you فِى in بَعْضِ part ٱلْأَمْرِ (of) the matter." وَٱللَّهُ But Allah يَعْلَمُ knows إِسْرَارَهُمْ their secrets.
English - That is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal. .
हिंदी - यह इस लिए की उन्होंने उन लोगों से कहा जिन्होंने अल्लाह की उतारी हुई चीज़ को नापंद किया, “हम तम्हारी ही बात मानेंगे कुछ मामलों में” और अल्लाह जानता है उनके राज़ की बात को।.
Ayah 27
فَكَيْفَ Then how, إِذَا when تَوَفَّتْهُمُ take them in death ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels, يَضْرِبُونَ striking وُجُوهَهُمْ their faces وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْ and their backs?
English - Then how [will it be] when the angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs? .
हिंदी - फिर उन का क्या हाल होगा जब फ़रिशते उन की जान निकाल रहें होंगे, मार रहे होंगे उन के चहरों पर और उन की पीठों पर।.
Ayah 28
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمُ (is) because they ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ followed مَآ what أَسْخَطَ angered ٱللَّهَ Allah وَكَرِهُوا۟ and hated رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ His pleasure, فَأَحْبَطَ so He made worthless أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds.
English - That is because they followed what angered Allah and disliked [what earns] His pleasure, so He rendered worthless their deeds. .
हिंदी - यह इसलिए है कि वह उस चीज़ के पीछे चले जो अल्लाह को नाराज़ करती है, और अल्लाह की ख़ुशी को नापसंद किया, तो अल्लाह ने उन के कर्मों को बर्बाद कर दिया।.
Ayah 29
أَمْ Or do حَسِبَ think ٱلَّذِينَ those who فِى in قُلُوبِهِم their hearts مَّرَضٌ (is) a disease أَن that لَّن never يُخْرِجَ will Allah bring forth ٱللَّهُ will Allah bring forth أَضْغَٰنَهُمْ their hatred?
English - Or do those in whose hearts is disease think that Allah would never expose their [feelings of] hatred? .
हिंदी - क्या वह लोग जिन के दिलों में बीमारी है यह समझते हैं कि अल्लाह उन की हसद को ज़ाहिर नहीं करेगा।.
Ayah 30
وَلَوْ And if نَشَآءُ We willed لَأَرَيْنَٰكَهُمْ surely, We could show them to you فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم and you would know them بِسِيمَٰهُمْ by their marks; وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ but surely, you will know them فِى by لَحْنِ (the) tone ٱلْقَوْلِ (of their) speech. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَعْلَمُ knows أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ your deeds.
English - And if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allah knows your deeds. .
हिंदी - और अगर हम चाहते तो उन को तुम्हें दिखा देते, और तुम उन्हें उन की निशानी से पहचान लेते, और बात चीत के अंदाज़ से उन को पहचात लेते, और अल्लाह तुम्हारे कामों को जानता है।.
Ayah 31
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ And surely We will test you حَتَّىٰ until نَعْلَمَ We make evident ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ those who strive مِنكُمْ among you وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ and the patient ones, وَنَبْلُوَا۟ and We will test أَخْبَارَكُمْ your affairs.
English - And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs. .
हिंदी - और हम तुम्हें ज़रूर आज़माऐंगे, यहाँ तक ही हम तुम में जिहाद करने वाले और सब्र करने वालों को जानलें, और तुम्हारे हालात जाँचलें।.
Ayah 32
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve وَصَدُّوا۟ and turn away عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way of Allah ٱللَّهِ (the) way of Allah وَشَآقُّوا۟ and oppose ٱلرَّسُولَ the Messenger مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] تَبَيَّنَ (has been) made clear لَهُمُ to them ٱلْهُدَىٰ the guidance, لَن never يَضُرُّوا۟ will they harm ٱللَّهَ Allah شَيْـًٔا (in) anything, وَسَيُحْبِطُ and He will make worthless أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds.
English - Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them – never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds. .
हिंदी - जिन्हों ने इंकार किया और अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोका और रसूल की मुख़ालिफ़त की इस के बाद कि उन के लिए हिदायत स्पष्ट हो गई थी, वह अल्लाह को हरगिज़ नुक़सान नहीं पहुँचा सकता, और वह उन के कर्मों को बर्बाद कर देगा।.
Ayah 33
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوٓا۟ O you who believe! أَطِيعُوا۟ Obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَأَطِيعُوا۟ and obey ٱلرَّسُولَ the Messenger, وَلَا and (do) not تُبْطِلُوٓا۟ make vain أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ your deeds.
English - O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds. .
हिंदी - एै ईमान वालो, अल्लाह की बात मानो और रसूल की बात मानो, और तुम अपने कर्मांे को बर्बाद मत करो।.
Ayah 34
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve وَصَدُّوا۟ and turn away عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ثُمَّ then مَاتُوا۟ died وَهُمْ while they كُفَّارٌ (were) disbelievers, فَلَن never يَغْفِرَ will Allah forgive ٱللَّهُ will Allah forgive لَهُمْ them.
English - Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers – never will Allah forgive them. .
हिंदी - जिन लोगों ने इंकार किया, और अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोका, और कुफ़र की हालत में ही मर गए, अल्लाह हरगिज़ उन को माफ़ नहीं करेगा।.
Ayah 35
فَلَا So (do) not تَهِنُوا۟ weaken وَتَدْعُوٓا۟ and call إِلَى for ٱلسَّلْمِ peace وَأَنتُمُ while you ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ (are) superior, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah مَعَكُمْ (is) with you وَلَن and never يَتِرَكُمْ will deprive you أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ (of) your deeds.
English - So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds. .
हिंदी - तो तुम कमज़ोर न पड़ो, और तुम सुलह की तरफ़ न बुलाओ, तुम ही सर बुलंद हो, और अल्लाह तुम्हारे साथ है और तुम्हारे कामों को हरगिज़ कम नहीं करेगा।.
Ayah 36
إِنَّمَا Only ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world لَعِبٌ (is) play وَلَهْوٌ and amusement. وَإِن And if تُؤْمِنُوا۟ you believe وَتَتَّقُوا۟ and fear (Allah) يُؤْتِكُمْ He will give you أُجُورَكُمْ your rewards وَلَا and not يَسْـَٔلْكُمْ will ask you أَمْوَٰلَكُمْ (for) your wealth.
English - [This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties. .
हिंदी - दुनिया की ज़िंदगी जो सिर्फ खेल और तमाशा है, और अगर तुम ईमान लाओगे और परहेज़गारी करोगे, वह तुम्हें तम्हारा बदला देगा और तुम से तुम्हारा माल नहीं लेगा।.
Ayah 37
إِن If يَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَا He were to ask you for it فَيُحْفِكُمْ and press you, تَبْخَلُوا۟ you will withhold وَيُخْرِجْ and He will bring forth أَضْغَٰنَكُمْ your hatred.
English - If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness. .
हिंदी - अगर वह तुम से माँग ले और तुम से इसरार करे, तो तुम कंजूसी करो, तो फिर वह तुम्हारी नापसंदीदगी को ज़ाहिर कर देगा।.
Ayah 38
هَٰٓأَنتُمْ Here you are - هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these, تُدْعَوْنَ called لِتُنفِقُوا۟ to spend فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah - فَمِنكُم but among you مَّن (are some) who يَبْخَلُ withhold, وَمَن and whoever يَبْخَلْ withholds, فَإِنَّمَا then only يَبْخَلُ he withholds عَن from نَّفْسِهِۦ himself. وَٱللَّهُ But Allah ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need, وَأَنتُمُ while you ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ (are) the needy. وَإِن And if تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ you turn away يَسْتَبْدِلْ He will replace you قَوْمًا (with) a people غَيْرَكُمْ other than you, ثُمَّ then لَا not يَكُونُوٓا۟ they will be أَمْثَٰلَكُم (the) likes of you.
English - Here you are – those invited to spend in the cause of Allah – but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you. .
हिंदी - सुनो, तुम लोग हो की तुम्हें बुलाया जाता है कि तुम अल्लाह के रास्ते में ख़र्च करो, तो तुम में से कुछ नहीं देते और जो कंजूसी करते हैं तो वह अपने लिए कंजूसी करते हैं, अल्लाह तो मालदार है और तुम मोहताज हो, और अगर तुम ने मुँह फेरा, तो वह तुम्हारे बदले दूसरी क़ौम को ले आएगा, फिर वह तुम्हारी तरह नहीं होगी।.
