Ayah 1
حمٓ Ha Meem.
English - Ha, Meem. .
हिंदी - हा मीम।.
Ayah 2
وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ By the Book ٱلْمُبِينِ the clear,
English - By the clear Book, .
हिंदी - खुली किताब की क़सम।.
Ayah 3
إِنَّا Indeed, We جَعَلْنَٰهُ (have) made it قُرْءَٰنًا a Quran عَرَبِيًّا (in) Arabic لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَعْقِلُونَ understand.
English - Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand. .
हिंदी - हम ने इस को अरबी ज़बान का क़ुरान बनाया, ताकि तुम समझ सको।.
Ayah 4
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it فِىٓ (is) in أُمِّ (the) Mother ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book لَدَيْنَا with Us, لَعَلِىٌّ surely exalted, حَكِيمٌ full of wisdom.
English - And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom. .
हिंदी - यक़ीनन यह हमारे पास सुरक्षित तख़्ती में है, बहुत ऊँची शान वाली और हिकमत वाली है।.
Ayah 5
أَفَنَضْرِبُ Then should We take away عَنكُمُ from you ٱلذِّكْرَ the Reminder, صَفْحًا disregarding (you), أَن because كُنتُمْ you are قَوْمًا a people مُّسْرِفِينَ transgressing?
English - Then should We turn the message away, disregarding you, because you are a transgressing people? .
हिंदी - क्या हम तुम से इस जि़्ाक्र को हटा देंगे, इस वजह से कि तुम हद से आगे बढ़ने वाले हो ?.
Ayah 6
وَكَمْ And how many أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن of نَّبِىٍّ a Prophet فِى among ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ the former (people),
English - And how many a prophet We sent among the former peoples, .
हिंदी - और हम ने पहले लोगांे में कितने ही नबी भेजे।.
Ayah 7
وَمَا And not يَأْتِيهِم came to them مِّن any Prophet نَّبِىٍّ any Prophet إِلَّا but كَانُوا۟ they used to بِهِۦ mock at him. يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock at him.
English - But there would not come to them a prophet except that they used to ridicule him. .
हिंदी - और कोई नबी उन के पास नहीं आता था मगर वह उस के साथ मज़ाक़ करते थे।.
Ayah 8
فَأَهْلَكْنَآ Then We destroyed أَشَدَّ stronger مِنْهُم than them بَطْشًا (in) power وَمَضَىٰ and has passed مَثَلُ (the) example ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people).
English - And We destroyed greater than them in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded. .
हिंदी - तो जो उन में बड़े ताक़तवर थे हम ने उन्हें हलाक कर दिया और पहलों की मिसाल गुज़र चुकी है।.
Ayah 9
وَلَئِن And if سَأَلْتَهُم you ask them, مَّنْ "Who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth?" لَيَقُولُنَّ They will surely say, خَلَقَهُنَّ "Created them ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower,"
English - And if you should ask them, "Who has created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "They were created by the Exalted in Might, the Knowing." .
हिंदी - और तुम उन से पूछोगे कि आसमानों और ज़मीन को किस ने पैदा किया, तो वह ज़रूर कहेंगे कि उन्हें बड़े ज़बरदसत, जानने वाले ने पैदा किया।.
Ayah 10
ٱلَّذِى The One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth مَهْدًا a bed, وَجَعَلَ and made لَكُمْ for you فِيهَا therein سُبُلًا roads لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَهْتَدُونَ (be) guided,
English - [The one] who has made for you the earth a bed and made for you upon it roads that you might be guided .
हिंदी - और जिस ने ज़मीन को तुम्हारे लिए बिस्तर बनाया और तुम्हारे लिए उस में रास्ते बनाऐ ताकि तुम राह पाओ।.
Ayah 11
وَٱلَّذِى And the One Who نَزَّلَ sends down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءًۢ water بِقَدَرٍ in (due) measure, فَأَنشَرْنَا then We revive بِهِۦ with it بَلْدَةً a land مَّيْتًا dead, كَذَٰلِكَ thus تُخْرَجُونَ you will be brought forth,
English - And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land – thus will you be brought forth – .
हिंदी - और वह जिस ने आसमानों से एक अंदाज़े के साथ पानी उतारा, फिर हम ने उस से मुर्दा बसती को ज़िंदा किया और तुम इसी तरह उठाए जाओगे।.
Ayah 12
وَٱلَّذِى And the One Who خَلَقَ created ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ the pairs كُلَّهَا all of them وَجَعَلَ and made لَكُم for you مِّنَ [of] ٱلْفُلْكِ the ships وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ and the cattle مَا what تَرْكَبُونَ you ride,
English - And who created the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which you mount. .
हिंदी - और वह जिस ने हर तरह के जोड़े बनाए और तुम्हारे लिए वह कश्तियाँ और जानवर बनाऐ जिन पर तुम सवार होेते हो।.
Ayah 13
لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟ That you may sit firmly, عَلَىٰ on ظُهُورِهِۦ their backs, ثُمَّ then تَذْكُرُوا۟ remember نِعْمَةَ (the) favor رَبِّكُمْ (of) your Lord إِذَا when ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ you sit firmly عَلَيْهِ on them وَتَقُولُوا۟ and say, سُبْحَٰنَ "Glory be (to) ٱلَّذِى the One Who سَخَّرَ (has) subjected لَنَا to us هَٰذَا this, وَمَا and not كُنَّا we were لَهُۥ of it مُقْرِنِينَ capable.
English - That you may settle yourselves upon their backs and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them and say. "Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it. .
हिंदी - ताकि तुम उन की पीठों पर सवार हो, फिर याद करो अपने रब का एहसान जब तुम उस पर अच्छी तरह से बैठ जाओ और कहो वह ज़ात पाक है जिस ने इस को हमारे काम पर लगा दिया और हम एैसे न थे कि उस को क़ाबू में कर पाते।.
Ayah 14
وَإِنَّآ And indeed, we إِلَىٰ to رَبِّنَا our Lord, لَمُنقَلِبُونَ will surely return."
English - And indeed we, to our Lord, will [surely] return." .
हिंदी - और बेशक हम अपने रब की तरफ लौट कर जाने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 15
وَجَعَلُوا۟ But they attribute لَهُۥ to Him مِنْ from عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves جُزْءًا a portion. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ man لَكَفُورٌ surely (is) clearly ungrateful. مُّبِينٌ surely (is) clearly ungrateful.
English - But they have attributed to Him from His servants a portion. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful. .
हिंदी - और उन लोगों ने अल्लाह का साझी अल्लाह के बंदों में से ठहरा लिया, यक़ीनन इंसान खुला नाशुक्रा है।.
Ayah 16
أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذَ has He taken مِمَّا of what, يَخْلُقُ He has created, بَنَاتٍ daughters وَأَصْفَىٰكُم and He has chosen (for) you بِٱلْبَنِينَ sons.
English - Or has He taken, out of what He has created, daughters and chosen you for [having] sons? .
हिंदी - क्या उस ने अपने पैदा किये हुए में से ख़ुद तो बेटियाँ लीं और तुम्हें चुन कर बेटे दिए।.
Ayah 17
وَإِذَا And when بُشِّرَ is given good news, أَحَدُهُم (to) one of them, بِمَا of what ضَرَبَ he sets up لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ for the Most Gracious مَثَلًا (as) a likeness, ظَلَّ becomes وَجْهُهُۥ his face مُسْوَدًّا dark وَهُوَ and he كَظِيمٌ (is) filled with grief.
English - And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. .
हिंदी - और जब उन में किसी को ख़ुशख़बरी दी जाती है, जो उन्हों ने रहमान के लिए बयान की है, तो उस के मुँह पर सियाही छा जाती है और वह घुठ कर रह जाता है।.
Ayah 18
أَوَمَن Then (is one) who يُنَشَّؤُا۟ is brought up فِى in ٱلْحِلْيَةِ ornaments وَهُوَ and he فِى in ٱلْخِصَامِ the dispute غَيْرُ (is) not مُبِينٍ clear.
English - So is one brought up in ornaments while being during conflict unevident [attributed to Allah]? .
हिंदी - क्या उस के लिए वह है जो ज़ेवर में पलती है और वह झगड़ते में बात नहीं कर सकती।.
Ayah 19
وَجَعَلُوا۟ And they made, ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ the Angels, ٱلَّذِينَ those who هُمْ themselves عِبَٰدُ (are) slaves ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ (of) the Most Gracious, إِنَٰثًا females. أَشَهِدُوا۟ Did they witness خَلْقَهُمْ their creation? سَتُكْتَبُ Will be recorded شَهَٰدَتُهُمْ their testimony, وَيُسْـَٔلُونَ and they will be questioned.
English - And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned. .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने फ़रिशतों को जो रहमान के बंदे हैं, औरतें ठहराया, क्या वह उन की पैदाइश के वक़त मौजूद थे, उन की गवाही ज़रूर लिखी जाएगी और उन से पूछा जाएगा।.
Ayah 20
وَقَالُوا۟ And they say, لَوْ "If شَآءَ had willed ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ the Most Gracious, مَا we would not have worshipped them." عَبَدْنَٰهُم we would not have worshipped them." مَّا Not لَهُم they have بِذَٰلِكَ about that مِنْ any عِلْمٍ knowledge. إِنْ Nothing هُمْ they (do) إِلَّا but يَخْرُصُونَ lie.
English - And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but falsifying. .
हिंदी - और कहते हैं अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो हम उन्हंे ना पूज्ते, उन्हें इस की कुछ ख़बर नहीं वह सिर्फ़ अटकल लगा रहे हैं।.
Ayah 21
أَمْ Or ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ have We given them كِتَٰبًا a book مِّن before it, قَبْلِهِۦ before it, فَهُم so they بِهِۦ to it مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ (are) holding fast?
English - Or have We given them a book before the Qur’an to which they are adhering? .
हिंदी - क्या हम ने उन्हें इस से पहले कोई किताब दी है कि यह उस पर क़ायम हैं।.
Ayah 22
بَلْ Nay, قَالُوٓا۟ they say, إِنَّا "Indeed, we وَجَدْنَآ [we] found ءَابَآءَنَا our forefathers عَلَىٰٓ upon أُمَّةٍ a religion وَإِنَّا and indeed, we عَلَىٰٓ on ءَاثَٰرِهِم their footsteps مُّهْتَدُونَ (are) guided."
English - Rather, they say, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are in their footsteps [rightly] guided." .
हिंदी - बल्कि वह कहते हैं हम ने अपने बाप दादा को इस तरीक़े पर पाया है और उन्ही के रास्तों पर हम चल रहे हैं।.
Ayah 23
وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus مَآ not أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you فِى in قَرْيَةٍ a town مِّن any نَّذِيرٍ warner إِلَّا except قَالَ said مُتْرَفُوهَآ (the) wealthy ones of it, إِنَّا "Indeed, we وَجَدْنَآ [we] found ءَابَآءَنَا our forefathers عَلَىٰٓ on أُمَّةٍ a religion, وَإِنَّا and indeed, we عَلَىٰٓ [on] ءَاثَٰرِهِم their footsteps مُّقْتَدُونَ (are) following."
English - And similarly, We did not send before you any warner into a city except that its affluent said, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are, in their footsteps, following." .
हिंदी - और इसी तरह हम ने तुम से पहले किसी बसती में कोई हिदायत करने वाला नहीं भेजा मगर वहाँ के ख़ुशहाल लोगों ने कहा कि हम ने अपने बाप दादा को एक रास्ते पर पाया और हम उनही के निशनों पर, पीछे पीछे चल रहे हैं।.
Ayah 24
قَٰلَ He said, أَوَلَوْ "Even if جِئْتُكُم I brought you بِأَهْدَىٰ better guidance مِمَّا than what وَجَدتُّمْ you found عَلَيْهِ on it ءَابَآءَكُمْ your forefathers?" قَالُوٓا۟ They said, إِنَّا "Indeed, we بِمَآ with what أُرْسِلْتُم you are sent بِهِۦ with [it] كَٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers."
English - [Each warner] said, "Even if I brought you better guidance than that [religion] upon which you found your fathers?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers." .
हिंदी - उस ने कहा, अगर मैं तुम्हारे पास इस से ज़्यादा हिदायत वाली चीज़ लेकर आऊँ जिस पर तुम ने अपने बाप दादा को पाया है, तो वह बोले तुम जो लेकर आए हो हम उस को मानने वाले नहीं।.
Ayah 25
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا So We took retribution مِنْهُمْ from them. فَٱنظُرْ Then see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ (of) the deniers.
English - So we took retribution from them; then see how was the end of the deniers. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने उन से बदला लिया, फिर देखो झुठलाने वालों का क्या अंजाम हुआ।.
Ayah 26
وَإِذْ And when قَالَ Ibrahim Said إِبْرَٰهِيمُ Ibrahim Said لِأَبِيهِ to his father وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ and his people, إِنَّنِى "Indeed, I (am) بَرَآءٌ disassociated مِّمَّا from what تَعْبُدُونَ you worship
English - And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, "Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship .
हिंदी - और जब इब्राहीम ने अपने बाप और अपनी क़ौम से कहा कि बेशक मैं उन से अलग हूँ जिन की तुम पूजा करते हो।.
Ayah 27
إِلَّا Except ٱلَّذِى the One Who فَطَرَنِى created me; فَإِنَّهُۥ and indeed, He سَيَهْدِينِ will guide me."
English - Except for He who created me; and indeed, He will guide me." .
हिंदी - हाँ जिस ने मुझे पैदा किया, तो वह मुझे रास्ता दिखाएगा।.
Ayah 28
وَجَعَلَهَا And he made it كَلِمَةًۢ a word بَاقِيَةً lasting فِى among عَقِبِهِۦ his descendents, لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَرْجِعُونَ return.
English - And he made it a word remaining among his descendants that they might return [to it]. .
हिंदी - और यही बात अपनी औलाद में पीछे छोड़़ गया ताकि वह लौट आऐं।.
Ayah 29
بَلْ Nay, مَتَّعْتُ I gave enjoyment هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ (to) these وَءَابَآءَهُمْ and their forefathers حَتَّىٰ until جَآءَهُمُ came to them ٱلْحَقُّ the truth وَرَسُولٌ and a Messenger مُّبِينٌ clear.
English - However, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger. .
हिंदी - बल्कि मैं ने उन को और उन के बाप दादा को मज़े लेने दिए, यहाँ तक कि उन के पास सच्ची बात और साफ़ साफ़ बताने वाला रसूल आ गया।.
Ayah 30
وَلَمَّا And when جَآءَهُمُ came to them ٱلْحَقُّ the truth, قَالُوا۟ they said, هَٰذَا "This سِحْرٌ (is) magic, وَإِنَّا and indeed, we بِهِۦ of it كَٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers."
English - But when the truth came to them, they said, "This is magic, and indeed we are, concerning it, disbelievers." .
हिंदी - और जब उन के पास हक़ आया, तो उन्होंने कहा कि यह जादू है और हम इसे नहीं मानते।.
Ayah 31
وَقَالُوا۟ And they say, لَوْلَا "Why not نُزِّلَ was sent down هَٰذَا this ٱلْقُرْءَانُ the Quran عَلَىٰ to رَجُلٍ a man, مِّنَ from ٱلْقَرْيَتَيْنِ the two towns, عَظِيمٍ great?"
English - And they said, "Why was this Qur’an not sent down upon a great man from [one of] the two cities?" .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने कहा यह क़ुरान इन दो बस्तियों में से किसी बड़े आदमी पर क्यूँ नहीं उतारा गया।.
Ayah 32
أَهُمْ Do they يَقْسِمُونَ distribute رَحْمَتَ (the) Mercy رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord? نَحْنُ We قَسَمْنَا [We] distribute بَيْنَهُم among them مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ their livelihood فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَرَفَعْنَا and We raise بَعْضَهُمْ some of them فَوْقَ above بَعْضٍ others دَرَجَٰتٍ (in) degrees لِّيَتَّخِذَ so that may take, بَعْضُهُم some of them, بَعْضًا others, سُخْرِيًّا (for) service. وَرَحْمَتُ But (the) Mercy رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord خَيْرٌ (is) better مِّمَّا than what يَجْمَعُونَ they accumulate.
English - Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees [of rank] that they may make use of one another for service. But the mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they accumulate. .
हिंदी - क्या वह तुम्हारे रब की रहमत बाँटते हैं, उन की रोज़ी तो हम उन के बीच दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में बाँटते हैं और एक के दूसरे पर दरजे बुलंद किए ताकि एक दूसरे से काम ले सकें और जो कुछ यह जमा करते हैं तुम्हारे रब की रहमत उस से कहीं बेहतर है।.
Ayah 33
وَلَوْلَآ And if not أَن that يَكُونَ (would) become ٱلنَّاسُ [the] mankind أُمَّةً a community وَٰحِدَةً one, لَّجَعَلْنَا We (would have) made لِمَن for (one) who يَكْفُرُ disbelieves بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ in the Most Gracious لِبُيُوتِهِمْ for their houses سُقُفًا roofs مِّن of فِضَّةٍ silver وَمَعَارِجَ and stairways عَلَيْهَا upon which يَظْهَرُونَ they mount
English - And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful – for their houses – ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount .
हिंदी - अगर यह ना होता कि सब लोग एक ही जमात हो जाते तो जो लोग अल्लाह का इंकार करते हैं हम उन के घरों की छतें चाँदी की बना देते और सीढ़ियाँ जिन पर वह चढ़ते हैं।.
Ayah 34
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ And for their houses أَبْوَٰبًا doors وَسُرُرًا and couches عَلَيْهَا upon which يَتَّكِـُٔونَ they recline
English - And for their houses – doors and couches [of silver] upon which to recline .
हिंदी - और उन के घरों के दरवाज़े और मसहरियाँ जिन पर वह टेक लगाते हैं।.
Ayah 35
وَزُخْرُفًا And ornaments of gold. وَإِن And not (is) كُلُّ all ذَٰلِكَ that لَمَّا but مَتَٰعُ an enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world. وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ And the Hereafter عِندَ with رَبِّكَ your Lord لِلْمُتَّقِينَ (is) for the righteous.
English - And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous. .
हिंदी - और सजावट होगी और यह सब दुनिया की ज़िंदगी का थोड़ा सा सामान है और आख़िरत तुम्हारे रब के यहाँ परहेज़गारों के लिए है।.
Ayah 36
وَمَن And whoever يَعْشُ turns away عَن from ذِكْرِ (the) remembrance ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ (of) the Most Gracious, نُقَيِّضْ We appoint لَهُۥ for him شَيْطَٰنًا a devil, فَهُوَ then he لَهُۥ (is) to him قَرِينٌ a companion.
English - And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful – We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion. .
हिंदी - और जो अल्लाह की याद से अंधा बन जाता है, तो हम उस पर एक शैतान सवार कर देते हैं, तो वह उस का साथी हो जाता है।.
Ayah 37
وَإِنَّهُمْ And indeed, they لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ surely, turn them عَنِ from ٱلسَّبِيلِ the Path وَيَحْسَبُونَ and they think أَنَّهُم that they مُّهْتَدُونَ (are) guided.
English - And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided .
हिंदी - और वह उन को रास्ते से रोकते हैं और वह समझते हैं कि हम सही रास्ते पर हैं।.
Ayah 38
حَتَّىٰٓ Until إِذَا when جَآءَنَا he comes to Us قَالَ he says, يَٰلَيْتَ "O would that بَيْنِى between me وَبَيْنَكَ and between you بُعْدَ (were the) distance ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ (of) the East and the West." فَبِئْسَ How wretched is ٱلْقَرِينُ the companion!
English - Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgment], he says [to his companion], "Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west – how wretched a companion." .
हिंदी - यहाँ तक कि जब वह हमारे पास आएगा तो कहेगा कि एै काश मेरे और तेरे बीच पूरब और पश्चिम की दूरी होती, कितना बुरा साथी है।.
Ayah 39
وَلَن And never يَنفَعَكُمُ will benefit you ٱلْيَوْمَ the Day, إِذ when ظَّلَمْتُمْ you have wronged, أَنَّكُمْ that you فِى (will be) in ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment مُشْتَرِكُونَ sharing.
English - And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment. .
हिंदी - और आज तुम्हें बिल्कुल फ़ायदा नहीं देगी, क्यूँकि तुम ने ज़्ाुल्म किया, बेशक तुम अज़ाब में शामिल हो।.
Ayah 40
أَفَأَنتَ Then can you تُسْمِعُ cause to hear ٱلصُّمَّ the deaf أَوْ or تَهْدِى guide ٱلْعُمْىَ the blind وَمَن and (one) who كَانَ is فِى in ضَلَٰلٍ an error مُّبِينٍ clear?
English - Then will you make the deaf hear, [O Muhammad], or guide the blind or he who is in clear error? .
हिंदी - तो क्या तुम बहरों को सुना सकते हो या अंधों को रास्ता दिखा सकते हो और जो खुली गुमराही में हैं।.
Ayah 41
فَإِمَّا And whether نَذْهَبَنَّ We take you away, بِكَ We take you away, فَإِنَّا then indeed, We, مِنْهُم from them مُّنتَقِمُونَ (will) take retribution.
English - And whether [or not] We take you away [in death], indeed, We will take retribution upon them. .
हिंदी - फिर अगर हम तुम्हें उठा ले गए, तो भी हम उन से बदला ले कर रहेंगे।.
Ayah 42
أَوْ Or نُرِيَنَّكَ We show you ٱلَّذِى that which وَعَدْنَٰهُمْ We have promised them, فَإِنَّا then indeed, We عَلَيْهِم over them مُّقْتَدِرُونَ have full power.
English - Or whether [or not] We show you that which We have promised them, indeed, We are Perfect in Ability. .
हिंदी - या हम तुम्हें दिखा देंगे जिन का हमने उन से वादा किया है, हम उन पर पूरी ताक़त रखते हैं।.
Ayah 43
فَٱسْتَمْسِكْ So hold fast بِٱلَّذِىٓ to that which أُوحِىَ is revealed إِلَيْكَ to you. إِنَّكَ Indeed, you عَلَىٰ (are) on صِرَٰطٍ a Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight.
English - So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path. .
हिंदी - तो तुम मज़्ाबूती से पकड़ो उसे जो तुम्हारी तरफ़ वही (प्रकाशना) की गई है, बेशक तुम सीधे रास्ते पर हो।.
Ayah 44
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it لَذِكْرٌ (is) surely, a Reminder لَّكَ for you وَلِقَوْمِكَ and your people, وَسَوْفَ and soon تُسْـَٔلُونَ you will be questioned.
English - And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned. .
हिंदी - और बेशक वह तुम्हारे लिए और तुम्हारी क़ौम के लिए एक नसीहत है और तुम से पूछा जाएगा।.
Ayah 45
وَسْـَٔلْ And ask مَنْ (those) whom أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you مِن of رُّسُلِنَآ Our Messengers; أَجَعَلْنَا did We make مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ the Most Gracious ءَالِهَةً gods يُعْبَدُونَ to be worshipped?
English - And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped? .
हिंदी - और जो हम ने तुम से पहले अपने रसूल भेजे हैं उन से पूछो, क्या हम ने रहमान के सिवा दूसरे पूज्य बनाए थे कि उन की पूजा की जाए।.
Ayah 46
وَلَقَدْ And certainly أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مُوسَىٰ Musa بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ with Our Signs إِلَىٰ to فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ and his chiefs, فَقَالَ and he said, إِنِّى "Indeed, I am رَسُولُ a Messenger رَبِّ (of the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds."
English - And certainly did We send Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, and he said, "Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds." .
हिंदी - और हम ने मूसा को अपनी निशानियाँ दे कर फ़िरऔन और उस के दरबारियों की तरफ़ भेजा तो उस ने कहा कि मैं सारे जहानों के रब की तरफ़ से भेजा हुआ हूँ।.
Ayah 47
فَلَمَّا But when جَآءَهُم he came to them بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ with Our Signs, إِذَا behold! هُم They مِّنْهَا at them يَضْحَكُونَ laughed.
English - But when he brought them Our signs, at once they laughed at them. .
हिंदी - जब वह उन के पास हमारी निशानियाँ ले कर आया तो वह उन की हंसी उड़ाने लगे।.
Ayah 48
وَمَا And not نُرِيهِم We showed them مِّنْ of ءَايَةٍ a Sign إِلَّا but هِىَ it أَكْبَرُ (was) greater مِنْ than أُخْتِهَا its sister, وَأَخَذْنَٰهُم and We seized them بِٱلْعَذَابِ with the punishment لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَرْجِعُونَ return.
English - And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith]. .
हिंदी - और जो निशानी हम उन को दिखाते थे वह दूसरी से बड़ी होती थी और हम ने उन को अज़ाब में पकड़ लिया ताकि वह लौट आऐं।.
Ayah 49
وَقَالُوا۟ And they said, يَٰٓأَيُّهَ "O ٱلسَّاحِرُ [the] magician! ٱدْعُ Invoke لَنَا for us رَبَّكَ your Lord بِمَا by what عَهِدَ He has made covenant عِندَكَ with you. إِنَّنَا Indeed, we لَمُهْتَدُونَ (will) surely be guided."
English - And they said [to Moses], "O magician, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. Indeed, we will be guided." .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने कहा कि एै जादूगर, तू हमारे लिए अपने रब से दुआ कर, उस का वास्ता दे कर जो वादा उस ने तुझ से कर रखा है, हम हिदायत क़ुबूल कर लेंगे।.
Ayah 50
فَلَمَّا But when كَشَفْنَا We removed عَنْهُمُ from them ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment إِذَا behold! هُمْ They يَنكُثُونَ broke (their word).
English - But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word. .
हिंदी - फिर जब हम उन पर से अज़ाब हटा लेते हैं तो वह उसी वक़्त वादा तोड़ देते हैं।.
Ayah 51
وَنَادَىٰ And called out فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun فِى among قَوْمِهِۦ his people; قَالَ he said, يَٰقَوْمِ "O my people! أَلَيْسَ Is not لِى for me مُلْكُ (the) kingdom مِصْرَ (of) Egypt وَهَٰذِهِ and these ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ [the] rivers تَجْرِى flowing مِن underneath me? تَحْتِىٓ underneath me? أَفَلَا Then do not تُبْصِرُونَ you see?
English - And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, "O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see? .
हिंदी - और फ़िरऔन ने अपनी क़ौम से पुकार कर कहा कि एै मेरी क़ौम क्या मिस्र की हुकूमत मेरे हाथ में नहीं है और यह नहरें जो मेरे नीचे बह रही हैं ? क्या तुम नहीं देखते ?.
Ayah 52
أَمْ Or أَنَا۠ am I خَيْرٌ better مِّنْ than هَٰذَا this, ٱلَّذِى one who - هُوَ he مَهِينٌ (is) insignificant وَلَا and hardly يَكَادُ and hardly يُبِينُ clear?
English - Or am I [not] better than this one who is insignificant and hardly makes himself clear? .
हिंदी - क्या मैं उस से बेहतर नहीं हूँ जो ज़लील है और साफ़ साफ़ बात भी नहीं कर सकता।.
Ayah 53
فَلَوْلَآ Then why not أُلْقِىَ are placed عَلَيْهِ on him أَسْوِرَةٌ bracelets مِّن of ذَهَبٍ gold أَوْ or جَآءَ come مَعَهُ with him ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels مُقْتَرِنِينَ accompanying (him)?"
English - Then why have there not been placed upon him bracelets of gold or come with him the angels in conjunction?" .
हिंदी - तो उस पर सोने के कंगन क्यूँ न उतारे गए या फ़रिश्ते जमा हो कर उस के साथ आते।.
Ayah 54
فَٱسْتَخَفَّ So he bluffed قَوْمَهُۥ his people, فَأَطَاعُوهُ and they obeyed him. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ were قَوْمًا a people فَٰسِقِينَ defiantly disobedient.
English - So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were [themselves] a people defiantly disobedient [of Allah]. .
हिंदी - तो उस ने अपनी क़ौम की अक़्ल मार दी, तो उन्होंने उस की बात मान ली, बेशक वह नाफ़रमान क़ौम थी।.
Ayah 55
فَلَمَّآ So when ءَاسَفُونَا they angered Us, ٱنتَقَمْنَا We took retribution مِنْهُمْ from them, فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ and We drowned them أَجْمَعِينَ all.
English - And when they angered Us, We took retribution from them and drowned them all. .
हिंदी - जब उन्होंने हमें ग़्ा़ुस्सा दिलाया तो हम ने उस से बदला लिया और उन सब को डुबो दिया।.
Ayah 56
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ And We made them سَلَفًا a precedent وَمَثَلًا and an example لِّلْءَاخِرِينَ for the later (generations).
English - And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने उन को गया गुज़्ारा और दूसरों के लिए एक मिसाल बना दिया।.
Ayah 57
وَلَمَّا And when ضُرِبَ is presented, ٱبْنُ (the) son مَرْيَمَ (of) Maryam, مَثَلًا (as) an example إِذَا behold! قَوْمُكَ Your people مِنْهُ about it يَصِدُّونَ laughed aloud.
English - And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud. .
हिंदी - और जब मरयम के बेटे की मिसाल बयान की गई तो उसी वक़्त तुम्हारी क़ौम उस से चिल्ला उठी।.
Ayah 58
وَقَالُوٓا۟ And they said, ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا "Are our gods خَيْرٌ better أَمْ or هُوَ he?" مَا Not ضَرَبُوهُ they present it لَكَ to you إِلَّا except جَدَلًۢا (for) argument. بَلْ Nay, هُمْ they قَوْمٌ (are) a people خَصِمُونَ argumentative.
English - And they said, "Are our gods better, or is he?" They did not present the comparison except for [mere] argument. But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute. .
हिंदी - और वह बोले कि क्या हमारा पूज्य बेहतर है या वह। वह तुम्हारे सामने सिर्फ़ झगड़े के लिए यह मिसाल बयान करते हैं, बल्कि वह झगड़ालू क़ौम ही है।.
Ayah 59
إِنْ Not هُوَ he إِلَّا (was) except عَبْدٌ a slave, أَنْعَمْنَا We bestowed Our favor عَلَيْهِ on him وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ and We made him مَثَلًا an example لِّبَنِىٓ for (the) Children of Israel. إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ for (the) Children of Israel.
English - Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel. .
हिंदी - वह तो सिर्फ़ एक बंदा था जिस पर हम ने इनाम किया था और उस को बनी इसराईल के लिए मिसाल बनाया था।.
Ayah 60
وَلَوْ And if نَشَآءُ We willed, لَجَعَلْنَا surely We (could have) made مِنكُم among you مَّلَٰٓئِكَةً Angels فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth يَخْلُفُونَ succeeding.
English - And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth. .
हिंदी - और अगर हम चाहते तो तुम में से फ़रिश्ते बना देते जो तुम्हारी जगह ज़मीन में रहते।.
Ayah 61
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it لَعِلْمٌ surely (is) a knowledge لِّلسَّاعَةِ of the Hour. فَلَا So (do) not تَمْتَرُنَّ (be) doubtful بِهَا about it, وَٱتَّبِعُونِ and follow Me. هَٰذَا This صِرَٰطٌ (is the) Path مُّسْتَقِيمٌ Straight.
English - And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path. .
हिंदी - और वह क़यामत की निशानी है, तो उस में शक न करो और मेरे पीछे चलो, यही सीधा रास्ता है।.
Ayah 62
وَلَا And (let) not يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ avert you ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he لَكُمْ (is) for you عَدُوٌّ an enemy مُّبِينٌ clear.
English - And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. .
हिंदी - और शैतान तुम्हें बिल्कुल रोकने ना पाए, बेशक वह तुम्हारा खुला दुश्मन है।.
Ayah 63
وَلَمَّا And when جَآءَ came عِيسَىٰ Isa بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs, قَالَ he said, قَدْ "Verily, جِئْتُكُم I have come to you بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ with wisdom وَلِأُبَيِّنَ and that I make clear لَكُم to you بَعْضَ some ٱلَّذِى (of) that which تَخْتَلِفُونَ you differ فِيهِ in it. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ So fear ٱللَّهَ Allah وَأَطِيعُونِ and obey me.
English - And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me. .
हिंदी - और जब ईसा निशानियाँ ले कर आए, तो कहने लगे कि मैं तुम्हारे पास हिकतम ले कर आया हूँ और ताकि मैं तुम्हारे लिए कुछ वह बातें साफ़ कर दूँ जिन में तुम विवाद करते थे, तो अल्लाह से डरो और मेरी बात मानो।.
Ayah 64
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He رَبِّى (is) my Lord وَرَبُّكُمْ and your Lord, فَٱعْبُدُوهُ so worship Him. هَٰذَا This صِرَٰطٌ (is) a Path مُّسْتَقِيمٌ Straight."
English - Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path." .
हिंदी - बेशक अल्लाह ही मेरा और तुम्हारा रब है, तो उस की इबादत करो यही सीधा रास्ता है।.
Ayah 65
فَٱخْتَلَفَ But differed ٱلْأَحْزَابُ the factions مِنۢ from بَيْنِهِمْ among them, فَوَيْلٌ so woe لِّلَّذِينَ to those who ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged مِنْ from عَذَابِ (the) punishment يَوْمٍ (of the) Day أَلِيمٍ painful.
English - But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day. .
हिंदी - तो उन में से गिरोह अलग अलग हो गए, तो जिन्होंने ज़्ाुल्म किया उन के लिए तबाही है दर्दनाक दिन के अज़ाब से।.
Ayah 66
هَلْ Are يَنظُرُونَ they waiting إِلَّا except ٱلسَّاعَةَ (for) the Hour أَن that تَأْتِيَهُم it should come on them بَغْتَةً suddenly وَهُمْ while they لَا (do) not يَشْعُرُونَ perceive?
English - Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not? .
हिंदी - क्या वह क़यामत के इंतज़ार में हैं कि अचानक उन पर आ पड़े और उन को ख़बर तक न हो।.
Ayah 67
ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ Friends يَوْمَئِذٍۭ that Day, بَعْضُهُمْ some of them لِبَعْضٍ to others عَدُوٌّ (will be) enemies إِلَّا except ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous,
English - Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous .
हिंदी - उस दिन दोस्त एक दूसरे के दुश्मन होंगे, सिवाए परहेज़गार लोगों के।.
Ayah 68
يَٰعِبَادِ "O My slaves! لَا No خَوْفٌ fear عَلَيْكُمُ on you ٱلْيَوْمَ this Day وَلَآ and not أَنتُمْ you تَحْزَنُونَ will grieve,
English - [To whom Allah will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve, .
हिंदी - एै मेरे बंदो तुम पर आज ना कोई डर है और न तुम दुखी होगे।.
Ayah 69
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا in Our Verses وَكَانُوا۟ and were مُسْلِمِينَ submissive.
English - [You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims. .
हिंदी - और जो ईमान लाए हमारी आयतों पर और मुसलमान रहे।.
Ayah 70
ٱدْخُلُوا۟ Enter ٱلْجَنَّةَ Paradise, أَنتُمْ you وَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْ and your spouses تُحْبَرُونَ delighted."
English - Enter Paradise, you and your kinds, delighted." .
हिंदी - तुम और तुम्हारी बीवियाँ ख़ुशियाँ मनाते हुए जन्नत में दाख़िल हो जाओ।.
Ayah 71
يُطَافُ Will be circulated عَلَيْهِم for them بِصِحَافٍ plates مِّن of ذَهَبٍ gold وَأَكْوَابٍ and cups. وَفِيهَا And therein مَا (is) what تَشْتَهِيهِ desires ٱلْأَنفُسُ the souls وَتَلَذُّ and delights ٱلْأَعْيُنُ the eyes, وَأَنتُمْ and you فِيهَا therein خَٰلِدُونَ will abide forever.
English - Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally. .
हिंदी - उन के सामने सोने के प्याले और गिलास पेश किये जाऐंगे और वहाँ हर वह चीज़ होगी जिस को दिल चाहेगा और जिस से आँखें ख़ुश होंगी और तुम उस में हमेशा रहोगे।.
Ayah 72
وَتِلْكَ And this ٱلْجَنَّةُ (is) the Paradise ٱلَّتِىٓ which أُورِثْتُمُوهَا you are made to inherit بِمَا for what كُنتُمْ you used to تَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do. .
हिंदी - और यही वह जन्नत है जिस के तुम वारिस बनाए गए हो, उस के बदले जो तुम करते थे।.
Ayah 73
لَكُمْ For you فِيهَا therein فَٰكِهَةٌ (are) fruits كَثِيرَةٌ abundant, مِّنْهَا from it تَأْكُلُونَ you will eat.
English - For you therein is much fruit from which you will eat. .
हिंदी - वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए बहुत से फल हैं जिन में से तुम खाओगे।.
Ayah 74
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ the criminals فِى (will be) in عَذَابِ (the) punishment جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell خَٰلِدُونَ abiding forever.
English - Indeed, the criminals will be in the punishment of Hell, abiding eternally. .
हिंदी - बेशक गुनाहगार जहन्नम के अज़ाब में हमेशा रहेंगे।.
Ayah 75
لَا Not يُفَتَّرُ will it subside عَنْهُمْ for them, وَهُمْ and they فِيهِ in it مُبْلِسُونَ (will) despair.
English - It will not be allowed to subside for them, and they, therein, are in despair. .
हिंदी - उन से हलका नहीं किया जाएगा और वह उस में नाउम्मीद हो कर पड़े रहेंगे।.
Ayah 76
وَمَا And not ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ We wronged them وَلَٰكِن but كَانُوا۟ they were هُمُ themselves ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ wrongdoers.
English - And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उन पर ज़्ाुल्म नहीं किया, बल्कि वही ज़्ाुल्म करते थे।.
Ayah 77
وَنَادَوْا۟ And they will call, يَٰمَٰلِكُ "O Malik! لِيَقْضِ Let put an end عَلَيْنَا to us رَبُّكَ your Lord." قَالَ He (will) say, إِنَّكُم "Indeed, you مَّٰكِثُونَ (will) remain."
English - And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain." .
हिंदी - और वह पुकारेंगे कि एै मालिक, तुम्हारा रब हमें मौत दे दे, वह कहेगा कि तुम हमेशा रहोगे।.
Ayah 78
لَقَدْ Certainly, جِئْنَٰكُم We have brought you بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَكُمْ most of you, لِلْحَقِّ to the truth كَٰرِهُونَ (are) averse.
English - We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse. .
हिंदी - हम तुम्हारे पास सच ले कर आए हैं लेकिन तुम में से अक्सर हक़ को पसंद नहीं करते।.
Ayah 79
أَمْ Or أَبْرَمُوٓا۟ have they determined أَمْرًا an affair? فَإِنَّا Then indeed, We مُبْرِمُونَ (are) determined.
English - Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan]. .
हिंदी - क्या उन्होंने कोई बात तय कर ली है तो हम भी तय करने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 80
أَمْ Or يَحْسَبُونَ (do) they think أَنَّا that We لَا (can) not نَسْمَعُ hear سِرَّهُمْ their secret(s) وَنَجْوَىٰهُم and their private counsel(s)? بَلَىٰ Nay, وَرُسُلُنَا and Our Messengers لَدَيْهِمْ with them, يَكْتُبُونَ are recording.
English - Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording. .
हिंदी - क्या वह समझते हैं कि हम उन की छुपी हुई बात चीत को और कानाफूसी को सुनते नहीं ? क्यूँ नहीं और हमारे फ़रिश्ते उन के पास लिख रहे हैं।.
Ayah 81
قُلْ Say, إِن "If كَانَ had لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ the Most Gracious وَلَدٌ a son. فَأَنَا۠ Then, I أَوَّلُ (would be the) first ٱلْعَٰبِدِينَ (of) the worshippers."
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers." .
हिंदी - कह दो, अगर अल्लाह का बेटा होता तो पहले मैं बंदगी करने वाला होता।.
Ayah 82
سُبْحَٰنَ Glory be رَبِّ (to the) Lord, ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne, عَمَّا above what يَصِفُونَ they ascribe.
English - Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe. .
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़मीन का रब, अर्श का रब पाक है उस से जो वह बयान करते हैं।.
Ayah 83
فَذَرْهُمْ So leave them يَخُوضُوا۟ (to) converse vainly وَيَلْعَبُوا۟ and play حَتَّىٰ until يُلَٰقُوا۟ they meet يَوْمَهُمُ their Day ٱلَّذِى which يُوعَدُونَ they are promised
English - So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised. .
हिंदी - तो उन्हें छोड़ दो कि वह डूबे रहें और खेल कूद में लगे रहें यहाँ तक कि वह देख लें जिस का उन से वादा किया जाता है।.
Ayah 84
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven - إِلَٰهٌ God, وَفِى and in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth - إِلَٰهٌ God. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْحَكِيمُ (is) the All-Wise, ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower.
English - And it is Allah who is [the only] deity in the heaven, and on the earth [the only] deity. And He is the Wise, the Knowing. .
हिंदी - और वही आसमानों में पूज्य है और ज़मीन में पूज्य हैं और वह हिकमत वाला, जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 85
وَتَبَارَكَ And blessed (is) ٱلَّذِى the One Who - لَهُۥ to Whom مُلْكُ (belongs the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between both of them وَعِندَهُۥ and with Him عِلْمُ (is the) knowledge ٱلسَّاعَةِ (of) the Hour, وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned.
English - And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the Hour and to whom you will be returned. .
हिंदी - और बरकत वाला है वह जिस की हुकूमत आसमानों में और ज़मीन में है और जो उन दोनों के बीच है और उस के पास क़यामत की जानकारी है और उसी की तरफ़ तुम लौटाए जाओगे।.
Ayah 86
وَلَا And not يَمْلِكُ have power ٱلَّذِينَ those whom يَدْعُونَ they invoke مِن besides Him دُونِهِ besides Him ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ (for) the intercession; إِلَّا except مَن who شَهِدَ testifies بِٱلْحَقِّ to the truth, وَهُمْ and they يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And those they invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know. .
हिंदी - और जिन को यह लोग अल्लाह के सिवा पुकारते हैं वह सिफ़ारिश का अधिकार नहीं रखते, मगर जिस ने हक़ की गवाही दी और वह जानते हैं।.
Ayah 87
وَلَئِن And if سَأَلْتَهُم you ask them مَّنْ who خَلَقَهُمْ created them, لَيَقُولُنَّ they will certainly say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah." فَأَنَّىٰ Then how يُؤْفَكُونَ are they deluded?
English - And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded? .
हिंदी - और अगर तुम उन से पूछो कि उन को किस ने पैदा किया है, तो वह ज़रूर कहेंगे कि अल्लाह ने, तो यह कहाँ उलटे चले जाते हैं।.
Ayah 88
وَقِيلِهِۦ And his saying, يَٰرَبِّ "O my Lord! إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these قَوْمٌ (are) a people لَّا (who do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe."
English - And [Allah acknowledges] his saying, "O my Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe." .
हिंदी - और उस का कहना है कि एै रब यह एैसे लोग हैं जो ईमान नहीं लाते।.
Ayah 89
فَٱصْفَحْ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them وَقُلْ and say, سَلَٰمٌ "Peace." فَسَوْفَ But soon يَعْلَمُونَ they will know.
English - So turn aside from them and say, "Peace." But they are going to know. .
हिंदी - तो उन से मुँह फेर लो और कहो सलाम और जल्द ही उन को मालूम हो जाएगा।.
