حمٓ Ha Meem.

Ayah 2
عٓسٓقٓ Ayn Seen Qaaf.
English - ‘Ayn, Seen, Qaf. .
हिंदी - अैन सीन क़ाफ़।.
Ayah 3
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُوحِىٓ reveals إِلَيْكَ to you, وَإِلَى and to ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن before you - قَبْلِكَ before you - ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - Thus has He revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and to those before you – Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - इसी तरह तुम पर और तुम से पहलों पर वही (प्रकाशना) करता रहा है, अल्लाह जो ज़्ाबरदस्त हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 4
لَهُۥ To Him مَا (belong) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَلِىُّ (is) the Most High, ٱلْعَظِيمُ the Most Great.
English - To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great. .
हिंदी - उसी का है जो आसमानों मंे है और जो ज़्ामीन मंे है और वह सब से बुलंद और महान है।.
Ayah 5
تَكَادُ Almost ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ the heavens يَتَفَطَّرْنَ break up مِن from فَوْقِهِنَّ above them, وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ and the Angels يُسَبِّحُونَ glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praise رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ and ask for forgiveness لِمَن for those فِى on ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. أَلَآ Unquestionably, إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْغَفُورُ (is) the Oft-Forgiving, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful.
English - The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. .
हिंदी - क़रीब है कि आसमान अपने ऊपर से फट पड़े और फ़रिश्ते अपने रब की तारीफ़ के साथ महिमा करते हैं और ज़्ामीन वालों के लिए माफ़ी मांगते हैं। सुन लो कि अल्लाह ही माफ़ करने वाला और रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 6
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ take مِن besides دُونِهِۦٓ besides أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors, ٱللَّهُ Allah حَفِيظٌ (is) a Guardian عَلَيْهِمْ over them, وَمَآ and not أَنتَ you عَلَيْهِم (are) over them بِوَكِيلٍ a manager.
English - And those who take as allies other than Him – Allah is [yet] Guardian over them; and you, [O Muhammad], are not over them a manager. .
हिंदी - और जिन लोगों ने उसके सिवा दूसरे मददगार बना रखे हैं, अल्लाह उनके ऊपर नज़र रखे हुए है और तुम उनके ऊपर ज़िम्मेदार नहीं।.
Ayah 7
وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you قُرْءَانًا a Quran عَرَبِيًّا (in) Arabic, لِّتُنذِرَ that you may warn أُمَّ (the) mother ٱلْقُرَىٰ (of) the towns, وَمَنْ and whoever حَوْلَهَا (is) around it, وَتُنذِرَ and warn يَوْمَ (of the) Day ٱلْجَمْعِ (of) Assembly, لَا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it. فَرِيقٌ A party فِى (will be) in ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise وَفَرِيقٌ and a party فِى in ٱلسَّعِيرِ the Blazing Fire.
English - And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur’an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze. .
हिंदी - और हमने इसी तरह तुम्हारी तरफ़ अरबी क़ुरआन उतारा, ताकि तुम मक्का वालों को और उसके आस पास वालों को ख़बरदार करो और उनको जमा होने के दिन से डराओ जिसके आने मंे कोइ शक नहीं, एक गिरोह जन्नत में होगा और एक गिरोह आग में।.
Ayah 8
وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ Allah willed, ٱللَّهُ Allah willed, لَجَعَلَهُمْ He could have made them أُمَّةً a community وَٰحِدَةً one, وَلَٰكِن but يُدْخِلُ He admits مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills فِى in (to) رَحْمَتِهِۦ His Mercy. وَٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ And the wrongdoers, مَا not لَهُم for them مِّن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper.
English - And if Allah willed, He could have made them [of] one religion, but He admits whom He wills into His mercy. And the wrongdoers have not any protector or helper. .
हिंदी - और अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो उन सबको एक ही क़ौम बना देता, लेकिन वह जिसको चाहता है अपनी रहमत मे दाखि़ल करता है और ज़ालिमों का न कोई दोस्त होगा और न कोई मददगार।.
Ayah 9
أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ have they taken مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors? فَٱللَّهُ But Allah - هُوَ He ٱلْوَلِىُّ (is) the Protector, وَهُوَ and He يُحْىِ gives life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead. وَهُوَ And He عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - Or have they taken protectors [or allies] besides Him? But Allah - He is the Protector, and He gives life to the dead, and He is over all things competent..
हिंदी - क्या उन्होंने उसके सिवा मददगार बना रखे हैं। मददगार तो अल्लाह ही है और वह मुर्दों को ज़िंदा करता है और वह हर चीज़ पर ताक़त रखता है।.
Ayah 10
وَمَا And whatever ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ you differ فِيهِ in it مِن of شَىْءٍ a thing, فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ then its ruling إِلَى (is) to ٱللَّهِ Allah. ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah, رَبِّى my Lord, عَلَيْهِ upon Him تَوَكَّلْتُ I put my trust وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him أُنِيبُ I turn.
English - And in anything over which you disagree – its ruling is [to be referred] to Allah. [Say], "That is Allah, my Lord; upon Him I have relied, and to Him I turn back." .
हिंदी - और जिस में तुम विवाद करते हो उस का फ़ैसला अल्लाह पर है। वही अल्लाह मेरा रब है उसी पर मैं भरोसा करता हूं और उसी की तरफ़ मैं लौटता हँू।.
Ayah 11
فَاطِرُ (The) Creator ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. جَعَلَ He made لَكُم for you مِّنْ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves, أَزْوَٰجًا mates, وَمِنَ and among ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ the cattle أَزْوَٰجًا mates; يَذْرَؤُكُمْ He multiplies you فِيهِ thereby. لَيْسَ (There) is not كَمِثْلِهِۦ like Him شَىْءٌ anything, وَهُوَ and He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer, ٱلْبَصِيرُ the All-Seer.
English - [He is] Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you from yourselves, mates, and among the cattle, mates; He multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. .
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़मीन का पैदा करने वाला है। उसने तुम्हारे लिए तुम ही में से जोड़े बनाए और जानवरों के भी जोड़े बनाए। उसके ज़रिए वह तम्हारी नस्ल चलाता है। उस जैसी कोई चीज़ नहीं और वह सुन्ने वाला, देखने वाला है।.
Ayah 12
لَهُۥ To Him (belongs) مَقَالِيدُ (the) keys ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. يَبْسُطُ He extends ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision لِمَن for whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَقْدِرُ and restricts. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He بِكُلِّ of every شَىْءٍ thing عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower.
English - To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. He extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. Indeed He is, of all things, Knowing. .
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़मीन की चाबियाँ उसी के पास हैं। वह जिसके लिए चाहता है रिज़्क़ को फैलाता और घटाता है। बेशक वह हर चीज़ को जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 13
شَرَعَ He has ordained لَكُم for you مِّنَ of ٱلدِّينِ the religion مَا what وَصَّىٰ He enjoined بِهِۦ upon نُوحًا Nuh, وَٱلَّذِىٓ and that which أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you, وَمَا and what وَصَّيْنَا We enjoined بِهِۦٓ upon إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim وَمُوسَىٰ and Musa وَعِيسَىٰٓ and Isa. أَنْ To أَقِيمُوا۟ establish ٱلدِّينَ the religion وَلَا and not تَتَفَرَّقُوا۟ be divided فِيهِ therein. كَبُرَ Is difficult عَلَى on ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists مَا what تَدْعُوهُمْ you call them إِلَيْهِ to it. ٱللَّهُ Allah يَجْتَبِىٓ chooses إِلَيْهِ for Himself مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills, وَيَهْدِىٓ and guides إِلَيْهِ to Himself مَن whoever يُنِيبُ turns.
English - He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus – to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah is that to which you invite them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him]. .
हिंदी - उस ने तुम्हारे लिए वही दीन चुना जिसका नूह को हुक्म दिया और जिसकी वही (प्रकाशना) हम ने तम्हारी तरफ़ की और जिसका हुक्म हमने इब्राहीम, मूसा और ईसा को किया कि दीन पर क़ायम रहना और उसमें फूट न डालना। साझी ठहराने वालों पर वह बहुत भारी है जिसकी तरफ़ आप उनको बुलाते हैं। अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है अपना ख़ास बना लेता है और वह अपनी तरफ़ रास्ता दिखाता है उसको जो लौटता है।.
Ayah 14
وَمَا And not تَفَرَّقُوٓا۟ they became divided إِلَّا until مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] جَآءَهُمُ came to them ٱلْعِلْمُ the knowledge بَغْيًۢا (out of) rivalry, بَيْنَهُمْ among them. وَلَوْلَا And if not كَلِمَةٌ (for) a word سَبَقَتْ (that) preceded مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى specified, لَّقُضِىَ surely, it (would have) been settled بَيْنَهُمْ between them. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُورِثُوا۟ were made to inherit ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِمْ after them لَفِى (are) surely in شَكٍّ doubt مِّنْهُ concerning it - مُرِيبٍ disquieting.
English - And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them – out of jealous animosity between themselves. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord [postponing the penalty] until a specified time, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, those who were granted inheritance of the Scripture after them are, concerning it, in disquieting doubt. .
हिंदी - और जो लोग अलग अलग हुए वह इल्म आने के बाद हुए, अपनी ज़िद की वजह से और अगर तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से एक नियमित वक़्त तक बात तय ना होती तो उन में फ़ैसला कर दिया जाता और जो लोग उनके बाद किताब के वारिस हुए वह उसकी तरफ़ से गहरे शक में हैं।.
Ayah 15
فَلِذَٰلِكَ So to that فَٱدْعُ then invite, وَٱسْتَقِمْ and stand firm كَمَآ as أُمِرْتَ you are commanded وَلَا and (do) not تَتَّبِعْ follow أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires, وَقُلْ but say, ءَامَنتُ "I believe بِمَآ in what أَنزَلَ Allah has sent down ٱللَّهُ Allah has sent down مِن of كِتَٰبٍ (the) Book, وَأُمِرْتُ and I am commanded لِأَعْدِلَ that I do justice بَيْنَكُمُ between you. ٱللَّهُ Allah رَبُّنَا (is) our Lord وَرَبُّكُمْ and your Lord. لَنَآ For us أَعْمَٰلُنَا our deeds وَلَكُمْ and for you أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ your deeds. لَا (There is) no حُجَّةَ argument بَيْنَنَا between us وَبَيْنَكُمُ and between you. ٱللَّهُ Allah يَجْمَعُ will assemble بَيْنَنَا [between] us, وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the final return."
English - So to that [religion of Allah] invite, [O Muhammad], and remain on a right course as you are commanded and do not follow their inclinations but say, "I have believed in what Allah has revealed of the Qur’an, and I have been commanded to do justice among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds, and for you your deeds. There is no [need for] argument between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is the [final] destination.” .
हिंदी - तो इसी लिए तुम दावत दो और जमे रहो जैसा कि तुम्हें हुक्म दिया गया है और उनकी ख़्वाहिशों के पीछे मत चलो और कहो कि अल्लाह ने जो किताब उतारी है, मैं उस पर यक़ीन रखता हँू और मुझे हुक्म दिया गया है कि मैं तुम में इंसाफ़ करुँ। अल्लाह हमारा और तुम्हारा रब है। हमारा काम हमारे लिए और तुम्हारा काम तुम्हारे लिए है। हमारे और तुम्हारे बीच कोई झगड़ा नहीं। अल्लाह हम सबको जमा करेगा और उसी के पास लौट कर जाना है।.
Ayah 16
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يُحَآجُّونَ argue فِى concerning ٱللَّهِ Allah مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] ٱسْتُجِيبَ response has been made to Him, لَهُۥ response has been made to Him, حُجَّتُهُمْ their argument دَاحِضَةٌ (is) invalid عِندَ with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord, وَعَلَيْهِمْ and upon them غَضَبٌ (is) wrath, وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe.
English - And those who argue concerning Allah after He has been responded to – their argument is invalid with their Lord, and upon them is [His] wrath, and for them is a severe punishment. .
हिंदी - और जो अल्लाह के बारे में बहस करते हैं इसके बाद कि उसको मान लिया गया, उनकी बहस अल्लाह के पास बेकार है और उन पर नाराज़गी है और उनके लिए भयानक अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 17
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَنزَلَ (has) sent down ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, وَٱلْمِيزَانَ and the Balance. وَمَا And what يُدْرِيكَ will make you know? لَعَلَّ Perhaps ٱلسَّاعَةَ the Hour قَرِيبٌ (is) near.
English - It is Allah who has sent down the Book in truth and [also] the balance. And what will make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ही है जिसने सच्चाई के साथ किताब उतारी और तराज़्ाू और तुम्हंे क्या मालूम शायद क़यामत क़रीब हो।.
Ayah 18
يَسْتَعْجِلُ Seek to hasten بِهَا [of] it ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِهَا in it, وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe مُشْفِقُونَ (are) fearful مِنْهَا of it وَيَعْلَمُونَ and know أَنَّهَا that it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth. أَلَآ Unquestionably, إِنَّ indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُمَارُونَ dispute فِى concerning ٱلسَّاعَةِ the Hour لَفِى (are) certainly in ضَلَٰلٍۭ error بَعِيدٍ far.
English - Those who do not believe in it are impatient for it, but those who believe are fearful of it and know that it is the truth. Unquestionably, those who dispute concerning the Hour are in extreme error. .
हिंदी - और जो लोग उस पर ईमान नहीं रखते वह उस मे जल्दी मचाते हैं और जो उस पर यक़ीन रखते हैं वह उस से डरते हैं और वह जानते हैं कि वह सच है। सुन लो जो क़यामत के बारे में झगड़ते हैं दूर की गुमराही में हैं।.
Ayah 19
ٱللَّهُ Allah لَطِيفٌۢ (is) Subtle بِعِبَادِهِۦ with His slaves; يَرْزُقُ He gives provision مَن (to) whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْقَوِىُّ (is) the All-Strong, ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty.
English - Allah is Subtle with His servants; He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह अपने बंदों पर मेहरबान है जिसको चाहता है रोज़ी देता है और वह ज़बरदस्त ताक़त वाला है।.
Ayah 20
مَن Whoever كَانَ is يُرِيدُ desiring حَرْثَ (the) harvest ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter - نَزِدْ We increase لَهُۥ for him فِى in حَرْثِهِۦ his harvest. وَمَن And whoever كَانَ is يُرِيدُ desiring حَرْثَ (the) harvest ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, نُؤْتِهِۦ We give him مِنْهَا of it, وَمَا but not لَهُۥ for him فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter مِن any نَّصِيبٍ share.
English - Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter – We increase for him in his harvest. And whoever desires the harvest of this world – We give him thereof, but there is not for him in the Hereafter any share. .
हिंदी - जो आख़िरत की खेती चाहता है हम उसके लिए उसकी खेती में तरक़्क़ी देंगे और जो दुनिया की खेती चाहता है हम उस में से उसे दे देते हैं और आख़िरत में उसका कोई हिस्सा नहीं।.
Ayah 21
أَمْ Or لَهُمْ for them شُرَكَٰٓؤُا۟ (are) partners شَرَعُوا۟ who have ordained لَهُم for them مِّنَ of ٱلدِّينِ the religion مَا what لَمْ not يَأْذَنۢ Allah has given permission of it بِهِ Allah has given permission of it ٱللَّهُ Allah has given permission of it وَلَوْلَا And if not كَلِمَةُ (for) a word ٱلْفَصْلِ decisive, لَقُضِىَ surely, it (would have) been judged بَيْنَهُمْ between them. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers, لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is a) punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - Or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented? But if not for the decisive word, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - क्या उनके कुछ साझी हैं जिन्होंने उनके लिए ऐसा दीन बनाया जिसकी इजाज़त अल्लाह ने नहीं दी और अगर फ़ैसले की बात तय ना होती तो उनमें फ़ैसला कर दिया जाता और बेशक ज़ालिमों के लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 22
تَرَى You will see ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers مُشْفِقِينَ fearful مِمَّا of what كَسَبُوا۟ they earned, وَهُوَ and it وَاقِعٌۢ (will) befall بِهِمْ [on] them. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds فِى (will be) in رَوْضَاتِ flowering meadows ٱلْجَنَّاتِ (of) the Gardens, لَهُم for them مَّا (is) whatever يَشَآءُونَ they wish عِندَ with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord. ذَٰلِكَ That - هُوَ it ٱلْفَضْلُ (is) the Bounty ٱلْكَبِيرُ the Great.
English - You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will [certainly] befall them. And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens [in Paradise] having whatever they will in the presence of their Lord. That is what is the great bounty. .
हिंदी - तुम ज़ालिमों को उस से डरते हुए देखोगे जो उन्होंने किया और वह उन पर पड़ने वाला है और जो ईमान लाए और अच्छे काम करते रहे वह जन्नत के बागों में होंगे। उनके रब के पास उनके लिए वह होगा जिसको वह चाहेंगे, यही बड़ा इनाम है।.
Ayah 23
ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلَّذِى (is of) which يُبَشِّرُ Allah gives glad tidings ٱللَّهُ Allah gives glad tidings عِبَادَهُ (to) His slaves - ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds. قُل Say, لَّآ "Not أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ I ask you عَلَيْهِ for it أَجْرًا any payment إِلَّا except ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ the love فِى among ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ the relatives." وَمَن And whoever يَقْتَرِفْ earns حَسَنَةً any good, نَّزِدْ We increase لَهُۥ for him فِيهَا therein حُسْنًا good. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, شَكُورٌ All-Appreciative.
English - It is that of which Allah gives good tidings to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for this message any payment [but] only good will through kinship." And whoever commits a good deed – We will increase for him good therein. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Appreciative. .
हिंदी - यही है वह जिसकी ख़ुशख़बरी अल्लाह अपने उन बंदो को देता है जो ईमान लाते हैं और नेक काम करते हैं। कह दो कि मैं तुम से इस पर किसी बदले का सवाल नहीं करता मगर रिश्तेदारी की मुहब्बत और जो नेकी करेगा हम उस के लिए उस में अच्छाई को और बढ़ा देंगे। बेशक अल्लाह माफ़ करने वाला, क़द्रदान है।.
Ayah 24
أَمْ Or يَقُولُونَ (do) they say, ٱفْتَرَىٰ "He has invented عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah كَذِبًا a lie?" فَإِن But if يَشَإِ Allah willed ٱللَّهُ Allah willed يَخْتِمْ He would seal عَلَىٰ [over] قَلْبِكَ your heart. وَيَمْحُ And Allah eliminates ٱللَّهُ And Allah eliminates ٱلْبَٰطِلَ the falsehood وَيُحِقُّ and establishes ٱلْحَقَّ the truth بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓ by His Words. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knowing بِذَاتِ of what ٱلصُّدُورِ (is in) the breasts.
English - Or do they say, "He has invented about Allah a lie"? But if Allah willed, He could seal over your heart. And Allah eliminates falsehood and establishes the truth by His words. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. .
हिंदी - क्या वह कहते हैं कि उसने अल्लाह पर झूठ बाँधा है, फिर अगर अल्लाह चाहे तो तुम्हारे दिल पर मुहर लगा दे और अल्लाह ग़लत को मिटाता है और सच को अपनी बातों से साबित करता है। बेशक वह दिलों के हाल को जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 25
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يَقْبَلُ accepts ٱلتَّوْبَةَ the repentance عَنْ of عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves وَيَعْفُوا۟ and pardons عَنِ [of] ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ the evil, وَيَعْلَمُ and He knows مَا what تَفْعَلُونَ you do.
English - And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do..
हिंदी - और वही है जो अपने बंदों की तौबा क़ुबूल करता है और बुराईयों को माफ़ करता है और जो तुम करते हो वह जानता है।.
Ayah 26
وَيَسْتَجِيبُ And He answers ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds وَيَزِيدُهُم and increases (for) them مِّن from فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty. وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ And the disbelievers - لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (will be) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe.
English - And He answers [the supplication of] those who have believed and done righteous deeds and increases [for] them from His bounty. But the disbelievers will have a severe punishment. .
हिंदी - और वह उनकी दुआ कु़बूल करता है। जो ईमान लाते हैं और अच्छे काम करते हैं और वह अपनी मेहरबानी से उन को ज़्यादा देता है और काफ़िरों के लिए सख़्त अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 27
وَلَوْ And if بَسَطَ Allah extends ٱللَّهُ Allah extends ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision لِعِبَادِهِۦ for His slaves, لَبَغَوْا۟ surely they would rebel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth; وَلَٰكِن but يُنَزِّلُ He sends down بِقَدَرٍ in (due) measure مَّا what يَشَآءُ He wills. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware, بَصِيرٌ All-Seer.
English - And if Allah had extended [excessively] provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth. But He sends [it] down in an amount which He wills. Indeed He is, of His servants, Acquainted and Seeing. .
हिंदी - और अगर अल्लाह अपने बंदों के लिए रिज़्क़ को फैला दे तो वह ज़मीन में ज़्ाुल्म करेंगे। लेकिन वह जितना चाहता है नाप तोल कर उतारता है। बेशक वह अपने बंदों के बारे में जानने वाला देखने वाला है।.
Ayah 28
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُنَزِّلُ sends down ٱلْغَيْثَ the rain مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] قَنَطُوا۟ they have despaired, وَيَنشُرُ and spreads رَحْمَتَهُۥ His mercy. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْوَلِىُّ (is) the Protector, ٱلْحَمِيدُ the Praiseworthy.
English - And it is He who sends down the rain after they had despaired and spreads His mercy. And He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy. .
हिंदी - और वही है जोे उनके मायूस हो जाने के बाद बारिश बरसाता है और अपनी रहमत को फैला देता है और वह काम बनाने वाला, तारीफ़ के क़ाबिल है।.
Ayah 29
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Signs خَلْقُ (is the) creation ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَثَّ He has dispersed فِيهِمَا in both of them مِن of دَآبَّةٍ (the) creatures. وَهُوَ And He عَلَىٰ (is) over جَمْعِهِمْ their gathering, إِذَا when يَشَآءُ He wills, قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and what He has dispersed throughout them of creatures. And He, for gathering them when He wills, is competent..
हिंदी - और आसमानों और ज़मीन का पैदा करना और उन में चलने फिरने वालों को फैलाना उसकी निशानियों में से है और जब वह चाहे उनको इकट्ठा कर सकता है।.
Ayah 30
وَمَآ And whatever أَصَٰبَكُم befalls you مِّن of مُّصِيبَةٍ (the) misfortune, فَبِمَا (is because) of what كَسَبَتْ have earned أَيْدِيكُمْ your hands. وَيَعْفُوا۟ But He pardons عَن [from] كَثِيرٍ much.
English - And whatever strikes you of disaster – it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much. .
हिंदी - और जो मुसीबत तुम पर आती है वह तुम्हारे ही कामों की वजह से है और वह बहुत से गुनाह माफ़ कर देता है।.
Ayah 31
وَمَآ And not أَنتُم you بِمُعْجِزِينَ (can) escape فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, وَمَا and not لَكُم for you مِّن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper.
English - And you will not cause failure [to Allah] upon the earth. And you have not besides Allah any protector or helper. .
हिंदी - और तुम ज़मीन में भी उसको बेबस नहीं कर सकते और अल्लाह के सिवा ना तुम्हारा कोई दोस्त है और ना कोई मददगार।.
Ayah 32
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِ His Signs ٱلْجَوَارِ (are) the ships فِى in ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea, كَٱلْأَعْلَٰمِ like [the] mountains.
English - And of His signs are the ships in the sea, like mountains. .
हिंदी - और उसी की निशानियों में से समुद्र में चलने वाले जहाज़ हैं, पहाड़ों की तरह।.
Ayah 33
إِن If يَشَأْ He wills, يُسْكِنِ He can cause the wind to become still ٱلرِّيحَ He can cause the wind to become still فَيَظْلَلْنَ then they would remain رَوَاكِدَ motionless عَلَىٰ on ظَهْرِهِۦٓ its back. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّكُلِّ for everyone صَبَّارٍ patient شَكُورٍ (and) grateful.
English - If He willed, He could still the wind, and they would remain motionless on its surface. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful. .
हिंदी - अगर वह चाहे तो हवा को रोक दे तो फिर वह उसकी पीठ पर ठहरे रह जाएं। बेशक इस में हर सब्र और शुक्र करने वाले के लिए निशानियाँ हैं।.
Ayah 34
أَوْ Or يُوبِقْهُنَّ He could destroy them بِمَا for what كَسَبُوا۟ they have earned; وَيَعْفُ but He pardons عَن [from] كَثِيرٍ much.
English - Or He could destroy them for what they earned; but He pardons much. .
हिंदी - या वह उनको तबाह कर दे उसके बदले जो उन्होंने किया और वह बहुत कुछ माफ़ कर देता है।.
Ayah 35
وَيَعْلَمَ And may know ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُجَٰدِلُونَ dispute فِىٓ concerning ءَايَٰتِنَا Our Signs مَا (that) not لَهُم for them مِّن any مَّحِيصٍ place of refuge.
English - And [that is so] those who dispute concerning Our signs may know that for them there is no place of escape. .
हिंदी - और वह जान लें जो हमारी निशानियों में झगड़ते हैं कि उनके लिए भागने की कोई जगह नहीं।.
Ayah 36
فَمَآ So whatever أُوتِيتُم you are given مِّن of شَىْءٍ a thing, فَمَتَٰعُ (is) but a passing enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (for) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world. وَمَا But what عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah خَيْرٌ (is) better وَأَبْقَىٰ and more lasting لِلَّذِينَ for those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَلَىٰ and upon رَبِّهِمْ their Lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَ put (their) trust.
English - So whatever thing you have been given – it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely .
हिंदी - तो जो कुछ तुम्हें दिया गया है वह दुनिया की ज़िंदगी का सामान है और जो अल्लाह के पास है वह ज़्यादा अच्छा और बाक़ी रहने वाला है उनके लिए जो ईमान लाए और अपने रब पर भरोसा करते हैं।.
Ayah 37
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يَجْتَنِبُونَ avoid كَبَٰٓئِرَ (the) greater ٱلْإِثْمِ sins وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ and the immoralities, وَإِذَا and when مَا and when غَضِبُوا۟ they are angry, هُمْ they يَغْفِرُونَ forgive,
English - And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive, .
हिंदी - और जो बड़े गुनाहों और बेशर्मियों से बचते हैं और जब उनको ग़ुस्सा आता है तो वह माफ़ कर देते हैं।.
Ayah 38
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ respond لِرَبِّهِمْ to their Lord وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ prayer وَأَمْرُهُمْ and their affairs شُورَىٰ (are conducted by) consultation بَيْنَهُمْ among them, وَمِمَّا and from what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ We have provided them يُنفِقُونَ they spend,
English - And those who have responded to their Lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend..
हिंदी - और जो अपने रब की बात मानते हैं और नमाज़ क़ायम करते हैं और उनका काम आपस की सलाह से होता है और जो कुछ हमने उन्हें दिया है उसमें से र्ख़च करते हैं।.
Ayah 39
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who, إِذَآ when أَصَابَهُمُ strikes them ٱلْبَغْىُ tyranny, هُمْ they يَنتَصِرُونَ defend themselves.
English - And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend themselves, .
हिंदी - और जब उन पर ज़ुल्म होता है तो वह बदला लेते हैं।.
Ayah 40
وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟ (The) recompense سَيِّئَةٍ (of) an evil سَيِّئَةٌ (is) an evil مِّثْلُهَا like it. فَمَنْ But whoever عَفَا pardons وَأَصْلَحَ and makes reconciliation, فَأَجْرُهُۥ then his reward عَلَى (is) on ٱللَّهِ Allah. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ like ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation – his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - और बुराई का बदला वैसी ही बुराई है लेकिन जिस ने माफ़ कर दिया और सुधार किया तो उसका बदला अल्लाह पर है। बेशक वह ज़ालिमों को पसंद नहीं करता।.
Ayah 41
وَلَمَنِ And surely whosoever ٱنتَصَرَ defends himself بَعْدَ after ظُلْمِهِۦ he has been wronged, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those مَا not عَلَيْهِم (is) against them مِّن any سَبِيلٍ way.
English - And whoever avenges himself after having been wronged – those have not upon them any cause [for blame]. .
हिंदी - और जो कोई ज़्ाुल्म के बाद बदला ले तो उन पर कोई इलज़ाम नहीं।.
Ayah 42
إِنَّمَا Only ٱلسَّبِيلُ the way عَلَى against ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَظْلِمُونَ oppress ٱلنَّاسَ the people وَيَبْغُونَ and rebel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth بِغَيْرِ without ٱلْحَقِّ right. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - The cause is only against the ones who wrong the people and tyrannize upon the earth without right. Those will have a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - इलज़ाम तो उन पर है जो लोगों पर ज़्ाुल्म करते हैं और ज़मीन में नाहक़ फ़साद करते हैं। ऐसे ही लोगों के लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 43
وَلَمَن And whoever صَبَرَ (is) patient وَغَفَرَ and forgives, إِنَّ indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that لَمِنْ (is) surely of عَزْمِ matters of determination. ٱلْأُمُورِ matters of determination.
English - And whoever is patient and forgives – indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination. .
हिंदी - और जिसने सब्र किया और माफ़ किया, बेशक यह हिम्मत के काम हैं।.
Ayah 44
وَمَن And whoever يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector مِّنۢ after Him. بَعْدِهِۦ after Him. وَتَرَى And you will see ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers, لَمَّا when رَأَوُا۟ they see ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment يَقُولُونَ saying, هَلْ "Is إِلَىٰ (there) for مَرَدٍّ return مِّن any سَبِيلٍ way?"
English - And he whom Allah sends astray – for him there is no protector beyond Him. And you will see the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment, saying, "Is there for return [to the former world] any way?" .
हिंदी - और जिसे अल्लाह भटका दे तो उसके बाद उसका कोई काम बनाने वाला नहीं और तुम ज़ालिमों को देखोगे, जब वह अज़ाब देखेंगे तो कहेंगे क्या लौटने का कोई रास्ता है?.
Ayah 45
وَتَرَىٰهُمْ And you will see them يُعْرَضُونَ being exposed عَلَيْهَا to it, خَٰشِعِينَ humbled مِنَ by ٱلذُّلِّ disgrace, يَنظُرُونَ looking مِن with طَرْفٍ a glance خَفِىٍّ stealthy. وَقَالَ And will say ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believed, إِنَّ "Indeed, ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ the losers ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who خَسِرُوٓا۟ lost أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves وَأَهْلِيهِمْ and their families يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection. أَلَآ Unquestionably! إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers فِى (are) in عَذَابٍ a punishment مُّقِيمٍ lasting.
English - And you will see them being exposed to the Fire, humbled from humiliation, looking from [behind] a covert glance. And those who had believed will say, "Indeed, the [true] losers are the ones who lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, the wrongdoers are in an enduring punishment." .
हिंदी - और तुम उनको देखोगे कि उनको उसके सामने लाया जाएगा, ज़िल्लत से डर रहे होंगे और छिपी निगाह से देख रहे होंगे और ईमान वाले कहेंगे कि घाटे वाले तो वह लोग हैं जिन्होंने अपना और अपने घर वालों का क़यामत के दिन घाटा कर दिया। सुन लो, बेशक ज़्ाुल्म करने वाले हमेशा हमेश के अज़ाब में होंगे।.
Ayah 46
وَمَا And not كَانَ will be لَهُم for them مِّنْ any أَوْلِيَآءَ protector يَنصُرُونَهُم (who) will help them مِّن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَمَن And whom يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِن any سَبِيلٍ way.
English - And there will not be for them any allies to aid them other than Allah. And whoever Allah sends astray – for him there is no way. .
हिंदी - और उनका कोई मददगार नहीं होगा जो उनकी मदद करे अल्लाह के सिवा और जिसे अल्लाह भटका दे तो उसके लिए कोई रास्ता नहीं।.
Ayah 47
ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ Respond لِرَبِّكُم to your Lord مِّن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يَأْتِىَ comes يَوْمٌ a Day لَّا (there is) no مَرَدَّ averting لَهُۥ for it مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah. مَا Not لَكُم (is) for you مِّن any مَّلْجَإٍ refuge يَوْمَئِذٍ (on) that Day وَمَا and not لَكُم for you مِّن any نَّكِيرٍ denial.
English - Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. No refuge will you have that day, nor for you will there be any denial. .
हिंदी - अपने रब की बात मान लो इस से पहले कि वह दिन आए जो अल्लाह की तरफ़ से टलने वाला नहीं। उस दिन तुम्हारे लिए न कोई पनाह होगी और ना ही इंकार की कोई सूरत।.
Ayah 48
فَإِنْ Then if أَعْرَضُوا۟ they turn away, فَمَآ then not أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ We have sent you عَلَيْهِمْ over them حَفِيظًا (as) a guardian. إِنْ Not عَلَيْكَ (is) on you إِلَّا except ٱلْبَلَٰغُ the conveyance. وَإِنَّآ And indeed, إِذَآ when أَذَقْنَا We cause to taste ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ [the] man مِنَّا from Us رَحْمَةً Mercy, فَرِحَ he rejoices بِهَا in it. وَإِن But if تُصِبْهُمْ befalls them سَيِّئَةٌۢ evil, بِمَا for what قَدَّمَتْ have sent forth أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ [the] man كَفُورٌ (is) ungrateful.
English - But if they turn away – then We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], over them as a guardian; upon you is only [the duty of] notification. And indeed, when We let man taste mercy from us, he rejoices in it; but if evil afflicts him for what his hands have put forth, then indeed, man is ungrateful. .
हिंदी - फिर अगर वह न मानें तो हम ने तुम्हें उनके ऊपर रखवाला बना कर नहीं भेजा। तुम्हें तो बस पहुँचा देना है और जब हम इंसान को अपनी तरफ़ से रहमत का मज़ा चखाते हैं तो वह उस पर ख़ुश होते हैं और अगर उनकी करतूत के बदले उन पर कोई मुसीबत आती है तो इंसान बड़ा नाशुक्रा है।.
Ayah 49
لِّلَّهِ To Allah مُلْكُ (belongs the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. يَخْلُقُ He creates مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills. يَهَبُ He grants لِمَن to whom يَشَآءُ He wills إِنَٰثًا females, وَيَهَبُ and He grants لِمَن to whom يَشَآءُ He wills ٱلذُّكُورَ [the] males.
English - To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what He wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males..
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़मीन की बादशाहत अल्लाह के लिए है, जो चाहता है पैदा करता है और जिसे चाहता है लड़कियाँ देता है और जिसे चाहता है लड़के देता है।.
Ayah 50
أَوْ Or يُزَوِّجُهُمْ He grants them ذُكْرَانًا males وَإِنَٰثًا and females; وَيَجْعَلُ and He makes مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills عَقِيمًا barren. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - Or He makes them [both] males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent. .
हिंदी - या उनको बेटे बेटियाँ मिला कर देता है और जिसको चाहता है बेऔलाद रखता है। बेशक वह जानने वाला, क़ुदरत वाला है।.
Ayah 51
وَمَا And not كَانَ is لِبَشَرٍ for any human أَن that يُكَلِّمَهُ Allah should speak to him ٱللَّهُ Allah should speak to him إِلَّا except وَحْيًا (by) revelation أَوْ or مِن from وَرَآئِ behind حِجَابٍ a veil أَوْ or يُرْسِلَ (by) sending رَسُولًا a messenger فَيُوحِىَ then he reveals بِإِذْنِهِۦ by His permission مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِىٌّ (is) Most High, حَكِيمٌ Most Wise.
English - And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise. .
हिंदी - और किसी इंसान के लिए नहीं है कि अल्लाह उस से बात करे मगर वही (प्रकाशना) से या एक पर्दे के पीछे से या कोई रसूल भेज दे, जो उसके हुक्म से जो चाहे वही (प्रकाशना) लाए। वह बुलंद, हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 52
وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you رُوحًا an inspiration مِّنْ by أَمْرِنَا Our Command. مَا Not كُنتَ (did) you تَدْرِى know مَا what ٱلْكِتَٰبُ the Book (is) وَلَا and not ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ the faith. وَلَٰكِن But جَعَلْنَٰهُ We have made it نُورًا a light, نَّهْدِى We guide بِهِۦ with it مَن whom نَّشَآءُ We will مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves. وَإِنَّكَ And indeed, you لَتَهْدِىٓ surely guide إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ (the) Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight,
English - And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path – .
हिंदी - और इसी तरह हम ने तुम्हारी तरफ़ रूह उतारी अपने हुक्म से। तुम नहीं जानते थे कि किताब क्या है और ना ही ईमान। लेकिन हमने उसको रौशनी बनाया हम उसके ज़रिए अपने बंदों में से जिसको चाहते हैं हिदायत देते हैं और बेशक तुम सीधा रास्ता दिखाते हो।.
Ayah 53
صِرَٰطِ (The) path ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ٱلَّذِى the One لَهُۥ to Whom مَا (belongs) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. أَلَآ Unquestionably! إِلَى To ٱللَّهِ Allah تَصِيرُ reach ٱلْأُمُورُ all affairs.
