Ayah 1
تَنزِيلُ (The) revelation ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book مِنَ (is) from ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْعَزِيزِ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمِ the All-Wise.
English - The revelation of the Qur’an is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - किताब का उतारा जाना ज़्ाबरदस्त, हिकमत वाले अल्लाह की तरफ़ से है।.
Ayah 2
إِنَّآ Indeed, We أَنزَلْنَآ [We] have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth; فَٱعْبُدِ so worship ٱللَّهَ Allah مُخْلِصًا (being) sincere لَّهُ to Him ٱلدِّينَ (in) the religion.
English - Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने तुम्हारी तरफ़ किताब सच्चाई के साथ उतारी, तो अल्लाह की इबादत करो उसके लिए दीन में मिलावट किए बिना।.
Ayah 3
أَلَا Unquestionably, لِلَّهِ for Allah ٱلدِّينُ (is) the religion ٱلْخَالِصُ the pure. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ take مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors, مَا "Not نَعْبُدُهُمْ we worship them إِلَّا except لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ that they may bring us near إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah زُلْفَىٰٓ (in) nearness." إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَحْكُمُ will judge بَيْنَهُمْ between them فِى in مَا what هُمْ they فِيهِ [in it] يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide مَنْ (one) who هُوَ [he] كَٰذِبٌ (is) a liar كَفَّارٌ and a disbeliever.
English - Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever. .
हिंदी - सुनो, अल्लाह ही के लिए है ख़ालिस दीन और जिन्होंने उसके सिवा मददगार बना रखे हैं (वह कहते हैं कि) हम उनकी पूजा नहीं करते मगर इस लिए कि वह हमें अल्लाह के क़रीब कर दें दर्जे में। बेशक अल्लाह उनके बीच उस में फ़़ैसला कर देगा जिस में वह विवाद करते हैं। बेशक अल्लाह उसे रास्ता नहीं दिखाता जो झूठा, इंकार करने वाला है।.
Ayah 4
لَّوْ If أَرَادَ Allah (had) intended ٱللَّهُ Allah (had) intended أَن to يَتَّخِذَ take وَلَدًا a son, لَّٱصْطَفَىٰ surely, He (could) have chosen مِمَّا from what يَخْلُقُ He creates مَا whatever يَشَآءُ He willed. سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glory be to Him! هُوَ He ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah ٱلْوَٰحِدُ the One, ٱلْقَهَّارُ the Irresistible.
English - If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing. .
हिंदी - अगर अल्लाह किसी को बेटा बनाना चाहता तो वह चुन लेता उस में से जो वह पैदा करता है जिसे चाहता। वह पाक है, वही अल्लाह एक, हावी है।.
Ayah 5
خَلَقَ He created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth بِٱلْحَقِّ in [the] truth. يُكَوِّرُ He wraps ٱلَّيْلَ the night عَلَى over ٱلنَّهَارِ the day وَيُكَوِّرُ and wraps ٱلنَّهَارَ the day عَلَى over ٱلَّيْلِ the night. وَسَخَّرَ And He subjected ٱلشَّمْسَ the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon, كُلٌّ each يَجْرِى running لِأَجَلٍ for a term مُّسَمًّى specified. أَلَا Unquestionably, هُوَ He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ the Oft-Forgiving.
English - He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. .
हिंदी - उस ने आसमानों और ज़्ामीन को ठीक ठीक पैदा किया। वह रात को दिन पर लपेटता है और दिन को रात पर लपेट देता है और सूरज और चाँद को क़ाबू में किया। हर एक चल रहा है एक तय मुद्दत तक। सुन लो, वह ज़्ाबरदस्त, माफ़ करने वाला है।.
Ayah 6
خَلَقَكُم He created you مِّن from نَّفْسٍ a soul وَٰحِدَةٍ single. ثُمَّ Then جَعَلَ He made مِنْهَا from it زَوْجَهَا its mate. وَأَنزَلَ And He sent down لَكُم for you مِّنَ of ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ the cattle ثَمَٰنِيَةَ eight أَزْوَٰجٍ kinds. يَخْلُقُكُمْ He creates you فِى in بُطُونِ (the) wombs أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ (of) your mothers, خَلْقًا creation مِّنۢ after بَعْدِ after خَلْقٍ creation, فِى in ظُلُمَٰتٍ darkness[es] ثَلَٰثٍ three. ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah رَبُّكُمْ your Lord; لَهُ for Him ٱلْمُلْكُ (is) the dominion. لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ He. فَأَنَّىٰ Then how تُصْرَفُونَ are you turning away?
English - He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted? .
हिंदी - उस ने तम्हें एक जान से पैदा किया फिर उस से उसका जोड़ा बनाया और तुम्हारे लिए मवेशियों में से आठ जोडे़ उतारे। वह तुम्हें तुम्हारी माओं के पेट में एक बनावट के बाद दूसरी बनावट में तीन अंधेरों में बनाता है। वही अल्लाह तुम्हारा रब है, उसी की बादशाहत है, कोई पूज्य नहीं मगर वह, तो तुम कहाँ फेरे जा रहे हो।.
Ayah 7
إِن If تَكْفُرُوا۟ you disbelieve فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَنِىٌّ (is) free from need عَنكُمْ of you. وَلَا And not يَرْضَىٰ He likes لِعِبَادِهِ in His slaves ٱلْكُفْرَ ungratefulness. وَإِن And if تَشْكُرُوا۟ you are grateful يَرْضَهُ He likes it لَكُمْ in you. وَلَا And not تَزِرُ will bear وَازِرَةٌ bearer of burdens وِزْرَ (the) burden أُخْرَىٰ (of) another. ثُمَّ Then إِلَىٰ to رَبِّكُم your Lord مَّرْجِعُكُمْ (is) your return, فَيُنَبِّئُكُم then He will inform you بِمَا about what كُنتُمْ you used to تَعْمَلُونَ do. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌۢ (is) the All-Knower بِذَاتِ of what (is) in the breasts. ٱلصُّدُورِ of what (is) in the breasts.
English - If you disbelieve – indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. .
हिंदी - अगर तुम इंकार करते हो तो बेशक अल्लाह तुम से बेपरवाह है और वह अपने बंदों के लिए कुफ्ऱ पसंद नहीं करता और अगर शुक्र करोगे तो वह तुम्हारे लिए उस से राज़्ाी हो जाएगा और कोई उठाने वाला किसी दूसरे का बोझ नहीं उठाएगा। फिर तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ तुम्हारा लौटना है, तो वह तुम्हें बताएगा जो तुम किया करते थे। बेशक वह जानने वाला है जो दिलों में है।.
Ayah 8
وَإِذَا And when مَسَّ touches ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ [the] man ضُرٌّ adversity, دَعَا he calls رَبَّهُۥ his Lord مُنِيبًا turning إِلَيْهِ to Him; ثُمَّ then إِذَا when خَوَّلَهُۥ He bestows on him نِعْمَةً a favor مِّنْهُ from Himself, نَسِىَ he forgets مَا (for) what كَانَ he used to call يَدْعُوٓا۟ he used to call إِلَيْهِ [to] Him مِن before, قَبْلُ before, وَجَعَلَ and he sets up لِلَّهِ to Allah أَندَادًا rivals لِّيُضِلَّ to mislead عَن from سَبِيلِهِۦ His Path. قُلْ Say, تَمَتَّعْ "Enjoy بِكُفْرِكَ in your disbelief قَلِيلًا (for) a little. إِنَّكَ Indeed, you مِنْ (are) of أَصْحَٰبِ (the) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire."
English - And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire." .
हिंदी - और जब इंसान को कोई मुसीबत पहँुचती है तो वह अपने रब से दुआ करता है उसी की तरफ़ लौटते हुए, फिर जब वह उसे अपनी तरफ़ से कोई नेमत देता है तो वह भूल जाता है जिसे वह इस से पहले पुकारा करता था और अल्लाह का साझी बनाने लगता है ताकि वह (लोगों को) उसके रास्ते से भटका दे। कह दो कि तू अपने कुफ्ऱ पर थोड़ा मज़्ाा कर ले। बेशक तू आग वालों में से है।.
Ayah 9
أَمَّنْ Is (one) who هُوَ [he] قَٰنِتٌ (is) devoutly obedient - ءَانَآءَ (during) hours ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night, سَاجِدًا prostrating وَقَآئِمًا and standing, يَحْذَرُ fearing ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ the Hereafter وَيَرْجُوا۟ and hoping رَحْمَةَ (for the) Mercy رَبِّهِۦ (of) his Lord? قُلْ Say, هَلْ "Are يَسْتَوِى equal ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَعْلَمُونَ know وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know?" إِنَّمَا Only يَتَذَكَّرُ will take heed أُو۟لُوا۟ those of understanding. ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ those of understanding.
English - Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding. .
हिंदी - क्या वह जो रात की घड़ियों में सजदा करते हुए और खड़े हो कर इबादत करता है, आख़िरत से डरता है और अपने रब की मेहरबानी की उम्मीद रखता है? क्या जानने वाले और ना जानने वाले बराबर हो सकते हैं? अक़्ल वाले ही समझ रखते हैं।.
Ayah 10
قُلْ Say, يَٰعِبَادِ "O My slaves ٱلَّذِينَ [those] who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear رَبَّكُمْ your Lord. لِلَّذِينَ For those who أَحْسَنُوا۟ do good فِى in هَٰذِهِ this ٱلدُّنْيَا world حَسَنَةٌ (is) good, وَأَرْضُ and the earth ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَٰسِعَةٌ (is) spacious. إِنَّمَا Only يُوَفَّى will be paid back in full ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ the patient ones أَجْرَهُم their reward بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ account."
English - Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account." .
हिंदी - कहो, ऐ मेरे वह बंदो जो ईमान लाए, डरो अपने रब से। उनके लिए जिन्होंने नेकी की इस दुनिया में अच्छाई है और अल्लाह की ज़्ामीन लंबी चौड़ी है। बेशक सब्र करने वालों को उनका बदला बेहिसाब दिया जाएगा।.
Ayah 11
قُلْ Say, إِنِّىٓ "Indeed, I أُمِرْتُ [I] am commanded أَنْ that أَعْبُدَ I worship ٱللَّهَ Allah, مُخْلِصًا (being) sincere لَّهُ to Him ٱلدِّينَ (in) the religion.
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion. .
हिंदी - कहो, बेशक मुझे हुक्म दिया गया है कि मैं अल्लाह की इबादत करूँ, उस के दीन में मिलावट किए बिना।.
Ayah 12
وَأُمِرْتُ And I am commanded لِأَنْ that أَكُونَ I be أَوَّلَ (the) first ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ (of) those who submit."
English - And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims." .
हिंदी - और मुझे हुक्म दिया गया है कि मैं पहला झुकने वाला हो जाऊँ।.
Ayah 13
قُلْ Say, إِنِّىٓ "Indeed, I أَخَافُ [I] fear, إِنْ if عَصَيْتُ I disobey رَبِّى my Lord, عَذَابَ (the) punishment يَوْمٍ (of) a Day عَظِيمٍ great."
English - Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day." .
हिंदी - कहो, बेशक मैं डरता हूँ एक बडे़ दिन के अज़्ााब से अगर मैं अपने रब की नाफ़रमानी करूँ।.
Ayah 14
قُلِ Say, ٱللَّهَ "I worship Allah أَعْبُدُ "I worship Allah مُخْلِصًا (being) sincere لَّهُۥ to Him دِينِى (in) my religion.
English - Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion, .
हिंदी - कहो, मैं अल्लाह ही की पूजा करता हूँ उसके लिए अपने दीन में मिलावट किए बिना।.
Ayah 15
فَٱعْبُدُوا۟ So worship مَا what شِئْتُم you will مِّن besides Him." دُونِهِۦ besides Him." قُلْ Say, إِنَّ "Indeed, ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ the losers ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who خَسِرُوٓا۟ (will) lose أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves وَأَهْلِيهِمْ and their families يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection. أَلَا Unquestionably, ذَٰلِكَ that - هُوَ it ٱلْخُسْرَانُ (is) the loss ٱلْمُبِينُ the clear."
English - So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss." .
हिंदी - अब उसके सिवा जिसकी चाहो पूजा करो। कहो, बेशक घाटे वाले तो वह लोग हैं जिन्होंने अपना और अपने घर वालों का क़यामत के दिन नुक़सान कर दिया। सुन लो यही है खुला हुआ घाटा।.
Ayah 16
لَهُم For them مِّن from فَوْقِهِمْ above them ظُلَلٌ coverings مِّنَ of ٱلنَّارِ the Fire وَمِن and from تَحْتِهِمْ below them ظُلَلٌ coverings. ذَٰلِكَ (With) that يُخَوِّفُ threatens ٱللَّهُ Allah بِهِۦ [with it] عِبَادَهُۥ His slaves, يَٰعِبَادِ "O My slaves! فَٱتَّقُونِ So fear Me."
English - They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me. .
हिंदी - उनके लिए उनके ऊपर से आग के साये होंगे और साये उनके नीचे से भी। इसी चीज़्ा से अल्लाह अपने बंदों को डराता है। ऐ मेरे बंदो, तो मुझ से डरा करो।.
Ayah 17
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱجْتَنَبُوا۟ avoid ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ the false gods أَن lest يَعْبُدُوهَا they worship them وَأَنَابُوٓا۟ and turn إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah, لَهُمُ for them ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ (are) glad tidings. فَبَشِّرْ So give glad tidings عِبَادِ (to) My slaves
English - But those who have avoided Taghūt, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allah – for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My servants .
हिंदी - और जो लोग शैतानों की पूजा करने से बचते रहे और अल्लाह की तरफ़ पलटे, उनके लिए ख़ुशख़बरी है, तो मेरे बंदों को ख़ुशख़बरी सुना दो।.
Ayah 18
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَسْتَمِعُونَ they listen (to) ٱلْقَوْلَ the Word, فَيَتَّبِعُونَ then follow أَحْسَنَهُۥٓ the best thereof, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those ٱلَّذِينَ (are) they whom هَدَىٰهُمُ Allah has guided them, ٱللَّهُ Allah has guided them, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those هُمْ are [they] أُو۟لُوا۟ the men of understanding. ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ the men of understanding.
English - Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding. .
हिंदी - जो बात को सुनते हैं, फिर उस में से अच्छी बात पर चलते हैं। वही हैं जिन्हें अल्लाह ने हिदायत दी और वही हैं अक़्ल वाले।.
Ayah 19
أَفَمَنْ Then, is (one) who, حَقَّ became due عَلَيْهِ on him كَلِمَةُ the word ٱلْعَذَابِ (of) the punishment? أَفَأَنتَ Then can you تُنقِذُ save مَن (one) who فِى (is) in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire?
English - Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire? .
हिंदी - तो क्या वह जिस पर अज़्ााब की बात सच साबित हो गयी? तो क्या तुम उसे बचा सकते हो जो आग में है?.
Ayah 20
لَٰكِنِ But ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ fear رَبَّهُمْ their Lord, لَهُمْ for them غُرَفٌ (are) lofty mansions, مِّن above them فَوْقِهَا above them غُرَفٌ lofty mansions مَّبْنِيَّةٌ built high, تَجْرِى flow مِن from تَحْتِهَا beneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers. وَعْدَ (The) Promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. لَا Not يُخْلِفُ Allah fails ٱللَّهُ Allah fails ٱلْمِيعَادَ (in His) promise.
English - But those who have feared their Lord – for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise. .
हिंदी - लेकिन जो अपने रब से डरते रहे उनके लिए कमरे हैं, जिनके ऊपर भी कमरे होंगे बने हुए, उनके नीचे से नहरें बह रही होंगी, अल्लाह का वादा है, और अल्लाह वादा ख़िलाफ़ी नहीं करता।.
Ayah 21
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah أَنزَلَ sends down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water فَسَلَكَهُۥ and He makes it flow يَنَٰبِيعَ (as) springs فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth; ثُمَّ then يُخْرِجُ He produces بِهِۦ with it زَرْعًا crops مُّخْتَلِفًا (of) different أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ colors; ثُمَّ then يَهِيجُ they wither فَتَرَىٰهُ and you see it مُصْفَرًّا turn yellow; ثُمَّ then يَجْعَلُهُۥ He makes them حُطَٰمًا debris? إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَذِكْرَىٰ surely, (is) a reminder لِأُو۟لِى for those of understanding. ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ for those of understanding.
English - Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding. .
हिंदी - क्या तुम ने नहीं देखा कि बेशक अल्लाह ने आसमान से पानी उतारा फिर उसको ज़्ामीन के चशमों में चला दिया, फिर उस से खेती निकालता है जिसके रंग तरह तरह के हैं, फिर वह मुरझा जाती है, फिर तुम उसे देखते हो कि पीली पड़ गयी है, फिर वह उसे भूसा बना देता है। बेशक इस में नसीहत है अक़्लमंदों के लिए।.
Ayah 22
أَفَمَن So is (one for) whom شَرَحَ Allah has expanded ٱللَّهُ Allah has expanded صَدْرَهُۥ his breast لِلْإِسْلَٰمِ for Islam فَهُوَ so he عَلَىٰ (is) upon نُورٍ a light مِّن from رَّبِّهِۦ his Lord. فَوَيْلٌ So woe لِّلْقَٰسِيَةِ to (those are) hardened قُلُوبُهُم their hearts مِّن from ذِكْرِ (the) remembrance of Allah. ٱللَّهِ (the) remembrance of Allah. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those فِى (are) in ضَلَٰلٍ error مُّبِينٍ clear.
English - So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error. .
हिंदी - क्या वह जिसका सीना अल्लाह ने इस्लाम के लिए खोल दिया है, वह तो अपने रब की तरफ़ से रौशनी पर है, तो उनके लिए बर्बादी है जिनके दिल सख़्त हैं, अल्लाह की याद से। यह लोग खुली गुमराही में हैं।.
Ayah 23
ٱللَّهُ Allah نَزَّلَ has revealed أَحْسَنَ (the) best ٱلْحَدِيثِ (of) [the] statement - كِتَٰبًا a Book مُّتَشَٰبِهًا (its parts) resembling each other مَّثَانِىَ oft-repeated. تَقْشَعِرُّ Shiver مِنْهُ from it جُلُودُ (the) skins ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who يَخْشَوْنَ fear رَبَّهُمْ their Lord, ثُمَّ then تَلِينُ relax جُلُودُهُمْ their skins وَقُلُوبُهُمْ and their hearts إِلَىٰ at ذِكْرِ (the) remembrance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. ذَٰلِكَ That هُدَى (is the) guidance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, يَهْدِى He guides بِهِۦ with it مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَمَن And whoever يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِنْ any هَادٍ guide.
English - Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray – for him there is no guide. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने बहुत अच्छी बात उतारी, एक ऐसी किताब जो मिलती जुलती, बार बार दोहराई जाने वाली है, जो लोग अपने रब से डरते हैं उनकी खालों के रोंगटे उस से खड़े हो जाते हैं, फिर उनकी खालें और उनके दिल नर्म हो कर अल्लाह की याद में लग जाते हैं। यह अल्लाह की हिदायत है जिसके ज़्ारिए वह जिसे चाहता है सीधा रास्ता दिखाता है और जिसे अल्लाह भटका दे तो उसे कोई सीधा रास्ता दिखाने वाला नहीं।.
Ayah 24
أَفَمَن Then (is) he who يَتَّقِى will shield بِوَجْهِهِۦ with his face سُوٓءَ (the) worst ٱلْعَذَابِ punishment يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection? وَقِيلَ And it will be said لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ to the wrongdoers, ذُوقُوا۟ "Taste مَا what كُنتُمْ you used to تَكْسِبُونَ earn."
English - Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn." .
हिंदी - तो क्या वह जो क़यामत के दिन अपने चहरे से बुरे अज़्ााब को रोकता हो? और ज़्ाालिमों से कहा जाएगा कि चखो उसका मज़्ाा जो तुम कमाया करते थे।.
Ayah 25
كَذَّبَ Denied ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) before them, قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them, فَأَتَىٰهُمُ so came upon them ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment مِنْ from حَيْثُ where لَا not يَشْعُرُونَ they perceive.
English - Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive. .
हिंदी - उन लोगों ने भी झुठलाया जो उनसे पहले थे, तो उनको अज़्ााब ने ऐसी जगह से आ पकड़ा कि उन्हें ख़बर भी ना हुई।.
Ayah 26
فَأَذَاقَهُمُ So Allah made them ٱللَّهُ So Allah made them ٱلْخِزْىَ the disgrace فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَلَعَذَابُ and certainly (the) punishment ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter أَكْبَرُ (is) greater, لَوْ if كَانُوا۟ they يَعْلَمُونَ knew.
English - So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew. .
हिंदी - तो अल्लाह ने उन्हें दुनिया की जि़्ांदगी में जि़्ाल्लत का मज़्ाा चखाया और आख़िरत का अज़्ााब तो बहुत बड़ा है, काश कि वह जान लेते।.
Ayah 27
وَلَقَدْ And indeed, ضَرَبْنَا We have set forth لِلنَّاسِ for people فِى in هَٰذَا this ٱلْقُرْءَانِ Quran مِن of كُلِّ every مَثَلٍ example لَّعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَتَذَكَّرُونَ take heed.
English - And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur’an from every [kind of] example – that they might remember. .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन हम ने लोगों के लिए इस क़ुरआन में हर तरह की मिसाल दी है, शायद कि वह सोचें।.
Ayah 28
قُرْءَانًا A Quran عَرَبِيًّا (in) Arabic غَيْرَ without ذِى any عِوَجٍ crookedness لَّعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَتَّقُونَ (become) righteous.
English - [It is] an Arabic Qur’an, without any deviance that they might become righteous. .
हिंदी - एक अरबी कु़रआन जिस में कोई टेढ़ नहीं। शायद कि वह डरें।.
Ayah 29
ضَرَبَ Allah sets forth ٱللَّهُ Allah sets forth مَثَلًا an example - رَّجُلًا a man فِيهِ about him شُرَكَآءُ partners مُتَشَٰكِسُونَ quarreling وَرَجُلًا and a man سَلَمًا (belonging) exclusively لِّرَجُلٍ to one man - هَلْ are يَسْتَوِيَانِ they both equal مَثَلًا (in) comparison? ٱلْحَمْدُ All praise لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah! بَلْ Nay, أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man – are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने मिसाल दी एक आदमी (ग़ुलाम) की जिस में कई जि़्ाद्दी हिस्सेदार हैं और एक ऐसे आदमी (ग़ुलाम) की जो पूरा का पूरा एक आदमी का है, क्या दोनों की मिसाल बराबर है? सारी तारीफ़ अल्लाह के लिए है, लेकिन उन में से अक्सर लोग नहीं जानते।.
Ayah 30
إِنَّكَ Indeed, you مَيِّتٌ will die وَإِنَّهُم and indeed, they مَّيِّتُونَ (will also) die.
English - Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. .
हिंदी - बेशक तुम मरने वाले हो और वह भी मरने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 31
ثُمَّ Then إِنَّكُمْ indeed you, يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, عِندَ before رَبِّكُمْ your Lord, تَخْتَصِمُونَ will dispute.
English - Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute. .
हिंदी - फिर बेशक तुम क़यामत के दिन अपने रब के पास झगड़ोगे।.
Ayah 32
فَمَنْ Then who أَظْلَمُ (is) more unjust مِمَّن than (one) who كَذَبَ lies عَلَى against ٱللَّهِ Allah وَكَذَّبَ and denies بِٱلصِّدْقِ the truth إِذْ when جَآءَهُۥٓ it comes to him? أَلَيْسَ Is (there) not فِى in جَهَنَّمَ Hell مَثْوًى an abode لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ for the disbelievers?
English - So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers? .
हिंदी - तो उस से बड़ा ज़्ाालिम कौन है जो अल्लाह पर झूठ बोले और सच्चाई को झुठलाए, जब वह उसके पास आ चुकी। क्या नहीं है जहन्नम में काफ़िरों का ठिकाना?.
Ayah 33
وَٱلَّذِى And the one who جَآءَ brought بِٱلصِّدْقِ the truth وَصَدَّقَ and believed بِهِۦٓ in it, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those هُمُ [they] ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ (are) the righteous.
English - And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it – those are the righteous. .
हिंदी - और जो सच्चाई लेकर आया और जिसने उसे सच माना, वही लोग हैं बचने वाले।.
Ayah 34
لَهُم For them مَّا (is) what يَشَآءُونَ they wish عِندَ with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord. ذَٰلِكَ That جَزَآءُ (is the) reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ (of) the good-doers
English - They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good – .
हिंदी - उनके लिए है जो वह चाहेंगे अपने रब के पास, यही बदला है अच्छाई करने वालों का।.
Ayah 35
لِيُكَفِّرَ That Allah will remove ٱللَّهُ That Allah will remove عَنْهُمْ from them أَسْوَأَ (the) worst ٱلَّذِى (of) what عَمِلُوا۟ they did وَيَجْزِيَهُمْ and reward them أَجْرَهُم their due بِأَحْسَنِ for (the) best ٱلَّذِى (of) what كَانُوا۟ they used to يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - That Allah may remove from them the worst of what they did and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do. .
हिंदी - ताकि अल्लाह उन से बुराइयों को दूर कर दे जो उन्होंने कीं और उनके नेक कामों का जो वह करते रहे उन्हें बदला दे।.
Ayah 36
أَلَيْسَ Is not ٱللَّهُ Allah بِكَافٍ sufficient عَبْدَهُۥ (for) His slave? وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ And they threaten you بِٱلَّذِينَ with those مِن besides Him. دُونِهِۦ besides Him. وَمَن And whoever يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray - ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray - فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِنْ any هَادٍ guide.
English - Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant [Prophet Muhammad]? And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him. And whoever Allah leaves astray – for him there is no guide. .
हिंदी - क्या अल्लाह अपने बंदे के लिए काफ़ी नहीं? और वह तुम्हें डराते हैं उन से, जो उसके (अल्लाह के) सिवा हैं और जिसे अल्लाह भटका दे तो उसके लिए कोई रास्ता बताने वाला नहीं।.
Ayah 37
وَمَن And whoever يَهْدِ Allah guides, ٱللَّهُ Allah guides, فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِن any مُّضِلٍّ misleader. أَلَيْسَ Is not ٱللَّهُ Allah بِعَزِيزٍ All-Mighty, ذِى All-Able of retribution? ٱنتِقَامٍ All-Able of retribution?
English - And whoever Allah guides – for him there is no misleader. Is not Allah Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution? .
हिंदी - और जिसे अल्लाह रास्ता दिखा दे, तो उसके लिए कोई भटकाने वाला नहीं। कया अल्लाह नहीं है ज़्ाबरदस्त, बदला लेने वाला?.
Ayah 38
وَلَئِن And if سَأَلْتَهُم you ask them مَّنْ who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth? لَيَقُولُنَّ Surely, they will say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah." قُلْ Say, أَفَرَءَيْتُم "Then do you see مَّا what تَدْعُونَ you invoke مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah? إِنْ if أَرَادَنِىَ Allah intended for me ٱللَّهُ Allah intended for me بِضُرٍّ harm, هَلْ are هُنَّ they كَٰشِفَٰتُ removers ضُرِّهِۦٓ (of) harm (from) Him; أَوْ or أَرَادَنِى if He intended for me بِرَحْمَةٍ mercy, هَلْ are هُنَّ they مُمْسِكَٰتُ withholders رَحْمَتِهِۦ (of) His mercy?" قُلْ Say, حَسْبِىَ "Sufficient (is) Allah for me; ٱللَّهُ "Sufficient (is) Allah for me; عَلَيْهِ upon Him يَتَوَكَّلُ put trust ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ those who trust."
English - And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers." .
हिंदी - और अगर तुम उन से पूछो कि किसने पैदा किया आसमानों और ज़्ामीन को, तो वह ज़्ारूर कहेंगे अल्लाह। कह दो, फिर तुम्हारा क्या ख़्याल है, जिसको तुम पुकारते हो अल्लाह के सिवा। अगर अल्लाह मुझे तकलीफ़ देना चाहे तो क्या वह उसकी तकलीफ़ को दूर कर सकते हैं या अगर वह मेरे साथ मेहरबानी चाहे तो क्या वह उसकी मेहरबानी को रोक सकते हैं? कहो, मेरे लिए अल्लाह काफ़ी है, उसी पर भरोसा करने वाले भरोसा करते हैं।.
Ayah 39
قُلْ Say, يَٰقَوْمِ "O my people! ٱعْمَلُوا۟ Work عَلَىٰ (according) to مَكَانَتِكُمْ your position, إِنِّى indeed, I am عَٰمِلٌ working; فَسَوْفَ then soon تَعْلَمُونَ you will know
English - Say, "O my people, work according to your position, [for] indeed, I am working; and you are going to know .
हिंदी - कहो, ऐ मेरी क़ौम तुम अपनी जगह पर काम करो, बेशक मैं भी काम करने वाला हूँ, तो जल्द ही तुम्हे मालूम हो जाएगा,.
Ayah 40
مَن (Upon) whom يَأْتِيهِ will come عَذَابٌ a punishment يُخْزِيهِ disgracing him وَيَحِلُّ and descends عَلَيْهِ on him عَذَابٌ a punishment مُّقِيمٌ everlasting."
English - To whom will come a torment disgracing him and on whom will descend an enduring punishment." .
हिंदी - कि किस पर आता है अज़्ााब जो उसे ज़्ालील कर देगा और किस पर उतरता है क़ायम रहने वाला अज़्ााब।.
Ayah 41
إِنَّآ Indeed We, أَنزَلْنَا We revealed عَلَيْكَ to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book لِلنَّاسِ for [the] mankind بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth. فَمَنِ So whoever ٱهْتَدَىٰ accepts guidance, فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ then (it is) for his soul; وَمَن and whoever ضَلَّ goes astray فَإِنَّمَا then only يَضِلُّ he strays عَلَيْهَا against his (soul). وَمَآ And not أَنتَ you عَلَيْهِم (are) over them بِوَكِيلٍ a manager.
English - Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided – it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने लोगों के लिए तुम पर किताब उतारी सच्चाई के साथ, तो जिसने हिदायत पाई तो अपने लिए और जो भटका तो वह भटकता है अपने ही ख़िलाफ़ और तुम उन पर जि़्ाम्मेदार नहीं।.
Ayah 42
ٱللَّهُ Allah يَتَوَفَّى takes ٱلْأَنفُسَ the souls حِينَ (at the) time مَوْتِهَا (of) their death, وَٱلَّتِى and the one who لَمْ (does) not تَمُتْ die فِى in مَنَامِهَا their sleep. فَيُمْسِكُ Then He keeps ٱلَّتِى the one whom, قَضَىٰ He has decreed عَلَيْهَا for them ٱلْمَوْتَ the death, وَيُرْسِلُ and sends ٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ the others إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى specified. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَ who ponder.
English - Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह जानों को खींच लेता है उनकी मौत के वक़्त और जिनको मौत नही आई, उनके सोने के वक़्त, फिर उनको रोक लेता है जिनकी मौत का फ़ैसला वह कर चुका है और दूसरों को एक तय वक़्त तक के लिए भेज देता है। बेशक इस में निशानियाँ हैं उन लोगों के लिए जो सोचते हैं।.
Ayah 43
أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ have they taken مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah شُفَعَآءَ intercessors? قُلْ Say, أَوَلَوْ "Even though كَانُوا۟ they were لَا not يَمْلِكُونَ possessing شَيْـًٔا anything, وَلَا and not يَعْقِلُونَ they understand?"
English - Or have they taken other than Allah as intercessors? Say, "Even though they do not possess [power over] anything, nor do they reason?" .
हिंदी - ा उन्होंने अल्लाह के सिवा सिफ़ारिशी बना लिए? कह दो, “चाहे वह किसी चीज़्ा के मालिक भी ना हों और ना ही सूझ बूझ रखते हों”?.
Ayah 44
قُل Say, لِّلَّهِ "To Allah (belongs) ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ the intercession جَمِيعًا all. لَّهُۥ For Him مُلْكُ (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. ثُمَّ Then إِلَيْهِ to Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned."
English - Say, "To Allah belongs [the right to allow] intercession entirely. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned." .
हिंदी - कह दो, सारी सिफ़ारिश अल्लाह ही के लिए है, उसी के लिए है बादशाहत आसमानों और ज़्ामीन की, फिर उसी की तरफ़ तुम लौटाए जाओगे।.
Ayah 45
وَإِذَا And when ذُكِرَ Allah is mentioned ٱللَّهُ Allah is mentioned وَحْدَهُ Alone, ٱشْمَأَزَّتْ shrink with aversion قُلُوبُ (the) hearts ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter, وَإِذَا and when ذُكِرَ are mentioned ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن besides Him, دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him, إِذَا behold! هُمْ They يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ rejoice.
English - And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice. .
हिंदी - और जब अकेले अल्लाह का जि़्ाक्र किया जाता है तो उनके दिल कुढ़ते हैं जो आख़िरत पर यक़ीन नहीं रखते और जब उनका जि़्ाक्र किया जाता है जो उसके सिवा हैं, उस वक़्त वह ख़ुश होने लगते हैं।.
Ayah 46
قُلِ Say, ٱللَّهُمَّ "O Allah! فَاطِرَ Creator ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, عَٰلِمَ Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the witnessed, أَنتَ You تَحْكُمُ will judge بَيْنَ between عِبَادِكَ Your slaves فِى in مَا what كَانُوا۟ they used to فِيهِ therein يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ."
English - Say, "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between your servants concerning that over which they used to differ." .
हिंदी - कहो, ऐ अल्लाह, आसमानों और ज़्ामीन के पैदा करने वाले, छुपी और खुली बात के जानने वाले, तू ही अपने बंदों के बीच उस में फ़ैसला करेगा जिस में वह विवाद कर रहे थे।.
Ayah 47
وَلَوْ And if أَنَّ And if لِلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوا۟ did wrong مَا (had) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth جَمِيعًا all وَمِثْلَهُۥ and (the) like of it مَعَهُۥ with it, لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟ they would ransom بِهِۦ with it مِن from سُوٓءِ (the) evil ٱلْعَذَابِ (of) the punishment يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection. وَبَدَا And (will) appear لَهُم to them مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah مَا what لَمْ not يَكُونُوا۟ they had يَحْتَسِبُونَ taken into account.
English - And if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account. .
हिंदी - और अगर ज़्ाालिमों के पास जो कुुछ ज़्ामीन में है सब हो और उतना ही उसके साथ हो तो वह ज़्ारूर उस से फ़िदया (रिहाई की क़ीमत) दे देंगे बुरे अज़्ााब का क़यामत के दिन और उनके लिए अल्लाह की तरफ़ से वह ज़्ााहिर होगा जिसका वह ग़ुमान भी ना रखते थे।.
Ayah 48
وَبَدَا And will become apparent لَهُمْ to them سَيِّـَٔاتُ (the) evils مَا (of) what كَسَبُوا۟ they earned, وَحَاقَ and will surround بِهِم them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used to بِهِۦ [in it] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock.
English - And there will appear to them the evils they had earned, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule. .
हिंदी - और उनके लिए बुराइयाँ ज़्ााहिर होंगी जिनको उन्होंने कमाया और उन्हें वह घेर लेगा जिसका वह मज़्ााक़ उड़ाया करते थे।.
Ayah 49
فَإِذَا So when مَسَّ touches ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ [the] man ضُرٌّ adversity, دَعَانَا he calls upon Us; ثُمَّ then إِذَا when خَوَّلْنَٰهُ We bestow (on) him نِعْمَةً a favor مِّنَّا from Us, قَالَ he says, إِنَّمَآ "Only, أُوتِيتُهُۥ I have been given it عَلَىٰ for عِلْمٍۭ knowledge." بَلْ Nay, هِىَ it فِتْنَةٌ (is) a trial, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us; then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, "I have only been given it because of [my] knowledge." Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - फिर जब इंसान को कोई परेशानी पहुंचती है तो हमें पुकारता है, फिर जब हम उसे अपनी तरफ़ से सुख (नेमत) देते हैं तो कहता है कि मुझे तो यह इल्म की वजह से दिया गया है, बल्कि यह एक फ़ितना (आज़्ामाइश) है, मगर उनमें से अक्सर नहीं जानते।.
Ayah 50
قَدْ Indeed, قَالَهَا said it ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن before them, قَبْلِهِمْ before them, فَمَآ but (did) not أَغْنَىٰ avail عَنْهُم them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used to يَكْسِبُونَ earn.
English - Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn. .
हिंदी - यही बात कह चुके हैं वह जो उनसे पहले थे, तो उनके कुछ काम ना आया जो वह कमाया करते थे।.
Ayah 51
فَأَصَابَهُمْ Then struck them سَيِّـَٔاتُ (the) evils مَا (of) what كَسَبُوا۟ they earned. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ظَلَمُوا۟ have wronged مِنْ of هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these, سَيُصِيبُهُمْ will strike them سَيِّـَٔاتُ (the) evils مَا (of) what كَسَبُوا۟ they earned; وَمَا and not هُم they بِمُعْجِزِينَ will be able to escape.
English - And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be afflicted by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure. .
हिंदी - फिर उन पर बुराइयाँ आ पड़ीं जो उन्होंने कमाई थीं और इनमें से जिन्होंने ज़्ाुल्म किया जल्द ही उन्हें भी बुराइयाँ आ पड़ेंगी जो उन्होंने कमाईं और वह बेबस करने वाले नहीं।.
Ayah 52
أَوَلَمْ Do not يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَبْسُطُ extends ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision لِمَن for whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَقْدِرُ and restricts. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يُؤْمِنُونَ who believe.
English - Do they not know that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. .
हिंदी - क्या वह नहीं जानते कि अल्लाह जिसके लिए चाहता है रोज़्ाी फैला देता है और कम कर देता है। बेशक इसमें निशानियाँ हैं उन लोगों के लिए जो यक़ीन रखते हैं।.
Ayah 53
قُلْ Say, يَٰعِبَادِىَ "O My slaves! ٱلَّذِينَ Those who أَسْرَفُوا۟ have transgressed عَلَىٰٓ against أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves, لَا (do) not تَقْنَطُوا۟ despair مِن of رَّحْمَةِ (the) Mercy ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَغْفِرُ forgives ٱلذُّنُوبَ the sins جَمِيعًا all. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He, هُوَ He ٱلْغَفُورُ (is) the Oft-Forgiving, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful.
English - Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." .
हिंदी - कहो, ऐ मेरे वह बंदो जिन्होंने अपनी जानों पर ज़्ाुल्म किया, अल्लाह की रहमत से मायूस ना हो। बेशक अल्लाह सारे गुनाहों को माफ़ कर देता है। बेशक वही माफ़ करने वाला, रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 54
وَأَنِيبُوٓا۟ And turn إِلَىٰ to رَبِّكُمْ your Lord وَأَسْلِمُوا۟ and submit لَهُۥ to Him مِن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يَأْتِيَكُمُ comes to you ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment; ثُمَّ then لَا not تُنصَرُونَ you will be helped.
English - And return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped. .
हिंदी - और तुम अपने रब की तरफ़ लौटो और उसके सामने झुक जाओ इस से पहले कि तुम पर अज़्ााब आए, फिर तुम्हारी मदद नहीं की जाएगी।.
Ayah 55
وَٱتَّبِعُوٓا۟ And follow أَحْسَنَ (the) best مَآ (of) what أُنزِلَ is revealed إِلَيْكُم to you مِّن from رَّبِّكُم your Lord مِّن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يَأْتِيَكُمُ comes to you ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment بَغْتَةً suddenly, وَأَنتُمْ while you لَا (do) not تَشْعُرُونَ perceive,
English - And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive, .
हिंदी - और जो तुम्हारी तरफ़ उतारी गयी है तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से उस में से बेहतरीन बात पर चलो इस से पहले कि तुम पर अज़्ााब आ जाए अचानक और तुम्हें ख़बर भी ना हो।.
Ayah 56
أَن Lest تَقُولَ should say نَفْسٌ a soul, يَٰحَسْرَتَىٰ "Oh! My regret عَلَىٰ over مَا what فَرَّطتُ I neglected فِى in جَنۢبِ regard (to) ٱللَّهِ Allah وَإِن and that كُنتُ I was لَمِنَ surely, among ٱلسَّٰخِرِينَ the mockers."
English - Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers." .
हिंदी - कि कोई जान कहे, हाय अफ़सोस उस पर जो मैंने कमी की अल्लाह के हक़ में और मैं तो मज़्ााक़ उड़ाने वालों में रह गया। 57 या कहे, अगर अल्लाह मुझे हिदायत देता तो मैं बचने वालों में से होता।.
Ayah 57
أَوْ Or تَقُولَ it should say, لَوْ "If that أَنَّ "If that ٱللَّهَ Allah هَدَىٰنِى (had) guided me, لَكُنتُ surely, I (would) have been مِنَ among ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous."
English - Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous.".
हिंदी - या कहे जब वह अज़्ााब देखे कि काश मेरे लिए लौटना हो तो मैं नेकी करने वालों में से हो जाऊँ।.
Ayah 58
أَوْ Or تَقُولَ it should say حِينَ when تَرَى it sees ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment, لَوْ "If أَنَّ only لِى for me كَرَّةً another chance فَأَكُونَ then I could be مِنَ among ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers."
English - Or [lest] it say when it sees the punishment, "If only I had another turn so I could be among the doers of good." .
हिंदी - या कहे जब वह अज़्ााब देखे कि काश मेरे लिए लौटना हो तो मैं नेकी करने वालों में से हो जाऊँ।.
Ayah 59
بَلَىٰ "Yes, قَدْ verily جَآءَتْكَ came to you ءَايَٰتِى My Verses, فَكَذَّبْتَ but you denied بِهَا them وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتَ and were arrogant, وَكُنتَ and you were مِنَ among ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - क्यों नहीं, मेरी निशानियाँ तेरे पास आ चुकीं तो तूने उन्हंे झुठलाया और घमंड किया और इंकार करने वालों में से हो गया।.
Ayah 60
وَيَوْمَ And (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection تَرَى you will see ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَذَبُوا۟ lied عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah, وُجُوهُهُم their faces مُّسْوَدَّةٌ (will be) blackened. أَلَيْسَ Is (there) not فِى in جَهَنَّمَ Hell مَثْوًى an abode لِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ for the arrogant?
English - And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant? .
हिंदी - और क़यामत के दिन तुम उन्हें देखोगे जिन्होंने अल्लाह पर झूठ कहा कि उनके चेहरे काले हैं। क्या नहीं है जहन्नम में घमंडियों का ठिकाना?.
Ayah 61
وَيُنَجِّى And Allah will deliver ٱللَّهُ And Allah will deliver ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ feared (Him) بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ to their place of salvation; لَا not يَمَسُّهُمُ will touch them ٱلسُّوٓءُ the evil, وَلَا and not هُمْ they يَحْزَنُونَ will grieve.
English - And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह बचा लेगा उन्हें जो डरते रहे उनके बचाव की जगह। ना बुराई उन्हें छू पाएगी और ना ही वह उदास होंगे।.
Ayah 62
ٱللَّهُ Allah خَٰلِقُ (is the) Creator كُلِّ (of) all شَىْءٍ things, وَهُوَ and He عَلَىٰ (is) over كُلِّ all شَىْءٍ things وَكِيلٌ a Guardian.
English - Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह हर चीज़्ा का पैदा करने वाला है और वह हर चीज़्ा पर जि़्ाम्मेदार है।.
Ayah 63
لَّهُۥ For Him مَقَالِيدُ (are the) keys ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those - هُمُ they ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ (are) the losers.
English - To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah – it is those who are the losers. .
हिंदी - उसी के लिए चाबियाँ हैं आसमानों और ज़्ामीन की और जिन्होंने अल्लाह की निशानियों का इंकार किया, वही हैं घाटा उठाने वाले।.
Ayah 64
قُلْ Say, أَفَغَيْرَ "Is (it) other than ٱللَّهِ Allah تَأْمُرُوٓنِّىٓ you order me أَعْبُدُ (to) worship, أَيُّهَا O ٱلْجَٰهِلُونَ ignorant ones?"
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "Is it other than Allah that you order me to worship, O ignorant ones?" .
हिंदी - कहो, तो क्या अल्लाह के सिवा तुम मुझे पूजा करने की राय देते हो, ऐ नादानो।.
Ayah 65
وَلَقَدْ And verily, أُوحِىَ it has been revealed إِلَيْكَ to you وَإِلَى and to ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) before you, قَبْلِكَ (were) before you, لَئِنْ if أَشْرَكْتَ you associate (with Allah) لَيَحْبَطَنَّ surely, will become worthless عَمَلُكَ your deeds وَلَتَكُونَنَّ and you will surely be مِنَ among ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ the losers.
English - And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers." .
हिंदी - और बेेशक तुम्हारी तरफ़ और उनकी तरफ़ वही (प्रकाशना) की जा चुकी, जो तुमसे पहले थे। अगर तुमने साझी ठहराया तो यक़ीनन तुम्हारा अमल बर्बाद हो जाएगा और तुम ज़्ारूर घाटा उठाने वालों में से हो जाओगे।.
Ayah 66
بَلِ Nay! ٱللَّهَ But worship Allah فَٱعْبُدْ But worship Allah وَكُن and be مِّنَ among ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ the thankful ones.
English - Rather, worship [only] Allah and be among the grateful. .
हिंदी - बल्कि अल्लाह ही की इबादत करो और एहसान मानने वालों में से हो जाओ।.
Ayah 67
وَمَا And not قَدَرُوا۟ they appraised ٱللَّهَ Allah حَقَّ (with) true قَدْرِهِۦ appraisal, وَٱلْأَرْضُ while the earth جَمِيعًا entirely قَبْضَتُهُۥ (will be) in His Grip يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ and the heavens مَطْوِيَّٰتٌۢ (will be) folded بِيَمِينِهِۦ in His Right Hand. سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glory be to Him! وَتَعَٰلَىٰ And High is He عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him).
English - They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने अल्लाह की क़दर नहीं की (जैसा कि) उसकी क़दर करने का हक़ है और ज़्ामीन सारी उसकी पकड़ में होगी और आसमान उसके दाहिने हाथ में लिपटे होंगे। वह पाक है और जिसे वह साझी ठहराते हैं उससे बुलंद है।.
Ayah 68
وَنُفِخَ And (will) be blown فِى [in] ٱلصُّورِ the trumpet, فَصَعِقَ then (will) fall dead مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَن and whoever فِى (is) on ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth إِلَّا except مَن whom شَآءَ Allah wills. ٱللَّهُ Allah wills. ثُمَّ Then نُفِخَ (it will) be blown فِيهِ [in it] أُخْرَىٰ a second time, فَإِذَا and behold! هُمْ They قِيَامٌ (will be) standing يَنظُرُونَ waiting.
English - And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on. .
हिंदी - और सूर में फूंक मारी जाएगी तो उसके होश उड़ जाएंगे जो आसमानों और जो ज़्ामीन में है, मगर जिसे अल्लाह चाहे, फिर उस में दोबारा फूंक मारी जाएगी तो अचानक वह खड़े हो कर देख रहे होंगे।.
Ayah 69
وَأَشْرَقَتِ And (will) shine ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth بِنُورِ with (the) light رَبِّهَا (of) its Lord وَوُضِعَ and (will) be placed ٱلْكِتَٰبُ the Record وَجِا۟ىٓءَ and (will) be brought بِٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ the Prophets وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ and the witnesses, وَقُضِىَ and it (will) be judged بَيْنَهُم between them بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, وَهُمْ and they لَا will not be wronged. يُظْلَمُونَ will not be wronged.
English - And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - और ज़्ामीन अपने रब की रौशनी से चमक उठेगी और किताब रख दी जाएगी और नबियों और गवाहों को लाया जाएगा और उनके बीच हक़ के साथ फ़ैसला कर दिया जाएगा और उन पर ज़्ाुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा.
Ayah 70
وَوُفِّيَتْ And (will) be paid in full كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul مَّا what عَمِلَتْ it did; وَهُوَ and He أَعْلَمُ (is the) Best-Knower بِمَا of what يَفْعَلُونَ they do.
English - And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do. .
हिंदी - और हर जान को वह पूरा दिया जाएगा जो उसने किया और वह ज़्यादा जानने वाला है जो वह करते हैं।.
Ayah 71
وَسِيقَ And (will) be driven ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve إِلَىٰ to جَهَنَّمَ Hell زُمَرًا (in) groups حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَا when جَآءُوهَا they reach it, فُتِحَتْ (will) be opened أَبْوَٰبُهَا its gates وَقَالَ and (will) say لَهُمْ to them خَزَنَتُهَآ its keepers, أَلَمْ "Did not يَأْتِكُمْ come to you رُسُلٌ Messengers مِّنكُمْ from you يَتْلُونَ reciting عَلَيْكُمْ to you ءَايَٰتِ (the) Verses رَبِّكُمْ (of) your Lord وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ and warning you لِقَآءَ (of the) meeting يَوْمِكُمْ (of) your Day هَٰذَا this?" قَالُوا۟ They (will) say, بَلَىٰ "Yes!" وَلَٰكِنْ But حَقَّتْ has been justified كَلِمَةُ (the) word ٱلْعَذَابِ (of) punishment عَلَى against ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups until, when they reach it, its gates are opened and its keepers will say, “Did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, reciting to you the verses of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "Yes, but the word of punishment has come into effect upon the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - और काफ़िरों को जहन्नम की तरफ़ हांका जाएगा गिरोहों में, यहां तक कि जब उसके पास आएंगे तो उसके दरवाज़्ो खोल दिये जाएंगे और उनसे कहेंगे उसके दरबान, “क्या तुम्हारे पास तुम्हीं में से रसूल नहीं आए जो तुम पर तुम्हारे रब की आयतें पढ़ते और तुम्हें आगाह करते तुम्हारे इस दिन की मुलाक़ात से”, वह कहेंगे, “हां क्यों नहीं”। लेकिन अज़्ााब की बात सच साबित हुई इंकार करने वालों पर।.
Ayah 72
قِيلَ It will be said, ٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ "Enter أَبْوَٰبَ (the) gates جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell خَٰلِدِينَ (to) abide eternally فِيهَا therein, فَبِئْسَ and wretched is مَثْوَى (the) abode ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ (of) the arrogant."
English - [To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant." .
हिंदी - कहा जाएगा कि दाख़िल हो जाओ जहन्नम के दरवाज़्ाों में उसमें हमेशा रहने के लिए, तो क्या ही बुरा ठिकाना है घमंड करने वालों का।.
Ayah 73
وَسِيقَ And (will) be driven ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ feared رَبَّهُمْ their Lord, إِلَى to ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise زُمَرًا (in) groups حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَا when جَآءُوهَا they reach it وَفُتِحَتْ and (will) be opened أَبْوَٰبُهَا its gates وَقَالَ and (will) say لَهُمْ to them خَزَنَتُهَا its keepers, سَلَٰمٌ "Peace be عَلَيْكُمْ upon you, طِبْتُمْ you have done well, فَٱدْخُلُوهَا so enter it خَٰلِدِينَ (to) abide eternally."
English - But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter]. .
हिंदी - और उन्हें ले जाया जाएगा जो अपने रब से डरते रहे जन्नत की तरफ़ गिरोहों में, यहां तक कि जब उस के पास आ जाएंगे और उस के दरवाज़्ो खोल दिए जाएंगे और उन से कहेंगे उस के पहरेदार, “तुम पर सलाम, तुम अच्छे रहे, तो उसमें दाख़िल हो जाओ हमेशा रहने के लिए”।.
Ayah 74
وَقَالُوا۟ And they will say, ٱلْحَمْدُ "All praise لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah, ٱلَّذِى Who صَدَقَنَا has fulfilled for us وَعْدَهُۥ His promise وَأَوْرَثَنَا and has made us inherit ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth, نَتَبَوَّأُ we may settle مِنَ [from] ٱلْجَنَّةِ (in) Paradise حَيْثُ wherever نَشَآءُ we wish. فَنِعْمَ So excellent أَجْرُ (is the) reward ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ (of) the workers."
English - And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers." .
हिंदी - और वह कहेंगे कि सारी तारीफ़ उस अल्लाह के लिए है जिस ने अपना वादा सच किया और हमें ज़्ामीन का वारिस बना दिया कि जन्नत में हम जहाँ चाहे रहंे, तो क्या ख़ूब बदला है काम करने वालों का।.
Ayah 75
وَتَرَى And you will see ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ the Angels حَآفِّينَ surrounding مِنْ [from] حَوْلِ around ٱلْعَرْشِ the Throne يُسَبِّحُونَ glorifying بِحَمْدِ (the) praise رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord. وَقُضِىَ And (will) be judged بَيْنَهُم between them بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, وَقِيلَ and it will be said, ٱلْحَمْدُ "All praise be لِلَّهِ to Allah, رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds."
English - And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [Allah] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, "[All] praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds." .
हिंदी - और तुम फ़रिश्तों को देखोगे घेरा बनाए हुए तख़्त के आस पास अपने रब की तारीफ़ के साथ पाकी बयान कर रहे हैं और उनके बीच इंसाफ़ के साथ फ़ैसला किया जाएगा और कहा जाएगा कि सारी तारीफ़ पूरी दुनिया के पालनहार अल्लाह के लिए है।.
