Ayah 1
صٓ Saad. وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ By the Quran ذِى full (of) reminder. ٱلذِّكْرِ full (of) reminder.
English - Sad. By the Qur’an containing reminder... .
हिंदी - सॉद, याद दिहानी वाले क़ुरआन की क़सम।.
Ayah 2
بَلِ Nay, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve فِى (are) in عِزَّةٍ self-glory وَشِقَاقٍ and opposition.
English - But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension. .
हिंदी - बल्कि जिन्होंने इंकार किया, घमंड और इख़्तिलाफ़ में हैं।.
Ayah 3
كَمْ How many أَهْلَكْنَا We destroyed مِن before them قَبْلِهِم before them مِّن of قَرْنٍ a generation, فَنَادَوا۟ then they called out وَّلَاتَ when there (was) no longer حِينَ time مَنَاصٍ (for) escape.
English - How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape. .
हिंदी - कितनी ही क़ौमों को हम ने इन से पहले हलाक कर दिया, तो वह पुकारने लगे और वह वक़्त रिहाई का नहीं था।.
Ayah 4
وَعَجِبُوٓا۟ And they wonder أَن that جَآءَهُم has come to them مُّنذِرٌ a warner مِّنْهُمْ from themselves. وَقَالَ And said ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers, هَٰذَا "This سَٰحِرٌ (is) a magician, كَذَّابٌ a liar.
English - And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar. .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने ताज्जुब किया कि उनके पास उन्हीं में से एक आगाह करने वाला आया और इंकार करने वालों ने कहा कि यह एक बड़ा झूठा जादूगर है।.
Ayah 5
أَجَعَلَ Has he made ٱلْءَالِهَةَ the gods إِلَٰهًا (into) one god? وَٰحِدًا (into) one god? إِنَّ Indeed هَٰذَا this لَشَىْءٌ (is) certainly a thing عُجَابٌ curious."
English - Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing." .
हिंदी - “क्या उसने (सारे) पूज्यों को एक पूज्य बना डाला? बेशक यह एक बड़ी अजीब बात है”।.
Ayah 6
وَٱنطَلَقَ And went forth ٱلْمَلَأُ the chiefs مِنْهُمْ among them أَنِ that, ٱمْشُوا۟ "Continue, وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ and be patient عَلَىٰٓ over ءَالِهَتِكُمْ your gods. إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذَا this لَشَىْءٌ (is) certainly a thing يُرَادُ intended.
English - And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended. .
हिंदी - और उन में से सरदार उठ खड़े हुए कि चलो और अपने पूज्यों पर जमे रहो, बेशक यह एक ऐसी चीज़्ा है जिसकी योजना बनाई जा रही है।.
Ayah 7
مَا Not سَمِعْنَا we heard بِهَٰذَا of this فِى in ٱلْمِلَّةِ the religion ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the last. إِنْ Not هَٰذَآ (is) this إِلَّا but ٱخْتِلَٰقٌ a fabrication.
English - We have not heard of this in the latest religion. This is not but a fabrication. .
हिंदी - हम ने यह नहीं सुना पिछले मज़्ाहब में, यह नहीं है मगर एक बनाई हुई बात।.
Ayah 8
أَءُنزِلَ Has been revealed عَلَيْهِ to him ٱلذِّكْرُ the Message مِنۢ from بَيْنِنَا among us?" بَلْ Nay, هُمْ They فِى (are) in شَكٍّ doubt مِّن about ذِكْرِى My Message. بَل Nay, لَّمَّا not yet يَذُوقُوا۟ they have tasted عَذَابِ My punishment.
English - Has the message been revealed to him out of [all of] us?” Rather, they are in doubt about My message. Rather, they have not yet tasted My punishment. .
हिंदी - क्या हमारे बीच में से उसी पर नसीहत उतारी गई? बल्कि वह लोग मेरी नसीहत से शक में हैं, हालांकि उन्होंने अभी तक मेरा अज़्ााब नहीं चखा।.
Ayah 9
أَمْ Or عِندَهُمْ have they خَزَآئِنُ (the) treasures رَحْمَةِ (of the) Mercy رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord ٱلْعَزِيزِ the All-Mighty, ٱلْوَهَّابِ the Bestower?
English - Or do they have the depositories of the mercy of your Lord, the Exalted in Might, the Bestower? .
हिंदी - क्या उनके पास हैं तुम्हारे रब की रहमत के ख़ज़्ााने? जो आलीशान, बहुत देने वाला है।.
Ayah 10
أَمْ Or لَهُم for them مُّلْكُ (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between them? فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ Then let them ascend فِى by ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ the means.
English - Or is theirs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend through [any] ways of access. .
हिंदी - या उनके लिए बादशाहत है आसमानों और ज़्ामीन की और जो उन के बीच है, तो चाहिए कि वह साधनों के ज़्ारिए चढ़ जाएं।.
Ayah 11
جُندٌ Soldiers - مَّا there هُنَالِكَ there مَهْزُومٌ (they will be) defeated مِّنَ among ٱلْأَحْزَابِ the companies.
English - [They are but] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers]. .
हिंदी - एक लशकर वहाँ हारा हुआ होगा गिरोहों में से।.
Ayah 12
كَذَّبَتْ Denied قَبْلَهُمْ before them قَوْمُ (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh وَعَادٌ and Aad وَفِرْعَوْنُ and Firaun, ذُو (the) owner ٱلْأَوْتَادِ (of) the stakes.
English - The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] ‘Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes, .
हिंदी - उन से पहले झुठलाया नूह की क़ौम ने और आद और खंूटों वाले फ़िरऔन ने,.
Ayah 13
وَثَمُودُ And Thamud وَقَوْمُ and (the) people لُوطٍ (of) Lut وَأَصْحَٰبُ and (the) companions لْـَٔيْكَةِ (of) the wood. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those ٱلْأَحْزَابُ (were) the companies.
English - And [the tribe of] Thamūd and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies. .
हिंदी - और समूद और लूत की क़ौम ने और पेड़ वालों ने, यही गिरोह हैं।.
Ayah 14
إِن Not كُلٌّ all (of them) إِلَّا but كَذَّبَ denied ٱلرُّسُلَ the Messengers, فَحَقَّ so (was) just عِقَابِ My penalty.
English - Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified. .
हिंदी - सब ने रसूलों को झुठलाया तो मेरा अज़्ााब सच साबित हुआ।.
Ayah 15
وَمَا And not يَنظُرُ await هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these إِلَّا but صَيْحَةً a shout وَٰحِدَةً one; مَّا not لَهَا for it مِن any فَوَاقٍ delay.
English - And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Horn]; for it there will be no delay. .
हिंदी - और यह लोग इंतेज़्ाार नहीं करते हैं मगर एक चीख़ का जिसे कुछ देर नहीं लगेगी।.
Ayah 16
وَقَالُوا۟ And they say, رَبَّنَا "Our Lord! عَجِّل Hasten لَّنَا for us قِطَّنَا our share قَبْلَ before يَوْمِ (the) Day ٱلْحِسَابِ (of) the Account."
English - And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account" .
हिंदी - और कहते हैं कि ऐ हमारे रब हमें हमारा हिस्सा हिसाब के दिन से पहले दे दे।.
Ayah 17
ٱصْبِرْ Be patient عَلَىٰ over مَا what يَقُولُونَ they say, وَٱذْكُرْ and remember عَبْدَنَا Our slave, دَاوُۥدَ Dawood, ذَا the possessor of strength. ٱلْأَيْدِ the possessor of strength. إِنَّهُۥٓ Indeed, he (was) أَوَّابٌ repeatedly turning.
English - Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allah]. .
हिंदी - सब्र करो उस पर जो वह कहते हैं और हमारे बंदे, ताक़त वाले दाऊद को याद करो। बेशक वह लौटने वाला था।.
Ayah 18
إِنَّا Indeed, We سَخَّرْنَا subjected ٱلْجِبَالَ the mountains مَعَهُۥ with him يُسَبِّحْنَ glorifying بِٱلْعَشِىِّ in the evening وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِ and [the] sunrise.
English - Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allah] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने पहाड़ों को उनके क़ाबू में दिया कि वह शाम और सुबह पाकी बयान करंे,.
Ayah 19
وَٱلطَّيْرَ And the birds مَحْشُورَةً assembled, كُلٌّ all لَّهُۥٓ with him أَوَّابٌ repeatedly turning.
English - And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises]. .
हिंदी - और परिंदों को झुंड में, सब उसके लिए लौटने वाले थे।.
Ayah 20
وَشَدَدْنَا And We strengthened مُلْكَهُۥ his kingdom وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ and We gave him ٱلْحِكْمَةَ [the] wisdom وَفَصْلَ and decisive ٱلْخِطَابِ speech.
English - And We strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and discernment in speech. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसकी बादशाहत को मज़्ाबूत किया और उसे समझ दी और बात में फ़ैसला (करने की सलाहियत)।.
Ayah 21
وَهَلْ And has (there) أَتَىٰكَ come to you نَبَؤُا۟ (the) news ٱلْخَصْمِ (of) the litigants, إِذْ when تَسَوَّرُوا۟ they climbed over the wall ٱلْمِحْرَابَ (of) the chamber?
English - And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of [his] prayer chamber – .
हिंदी - और क्या तुम्हेेें दो झगड़ने वालों की ख़बर पहुंची जब वह दीवार कूद कर आए इबादत ख़ाने में।.
Ayah 22
إِذْ When دَخَلُوا۟ they entered عَلَىٰ upon دَاوُۥدَ Dawood فَفَزِعَ and he was afraid مِنْهُمْ of them, قَالُوا۟ they said, لَا "(Do) not تَخَفْ fear. خَصْمَانِ (We are) two litigants, بَغَىٰ has wronged بَعْضُنَا one of us عَلَىٰ to بَعْضٍ another, فَٱحْكُم so judge بَيْنَنَا between us بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth وَلَا and (do) not تُشْطِطْ be unjust وَٱهْدِنَآ and guide us إِلَىٰ to سَوَآءِ an even ٱلصِّرَٰطِ [the] path.
English - When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path. .
हिंदी - जब वह दाऊद के पास दाख़िल हुए तो वह उन से घबरा गया, उन्होंने कहा कि मत डरिए (हम) दो दावा करने वाले हैं। हम ने एक दूसरे पर ज़्यादती की तो हमारे बीच फै़सला करिए हक़ के साथ और बेइंसाफ़ी मत करिए और हमें सीधा रास्ता बताइए।.
Ayah 23
إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذَآ this أَخِى (is) my brother, لَهُۥ he has تِسْعٌ ninety-nine وَتِسْعُونَ ninety-nine نَعْجَةً ewe(s) وَلِىَ while I have نَعْجَةٌ ewe وَٰحِدَةٌ one; فَقَالَ so he said, أَكْفِلْنِيهَا "Entrust her to me," وَعَزَّنِى and he overpowered me فِى in ٱلْخِطَابِ [the] speech."
English - Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech." .
हिंदी - बेशक यह मेरा भाई है, इसके पास निन्यानवे भेड़े हैं और मेरे पास एक भेड़ है तो वह कहता है “वह मेरे हवाले कर दो” और बहस में मुझे पछाड़ दिया।.
Ayah 24
قَالَ He said, لَقَدْ "Certainly, ظَلَمَكَ he has wronged you بِسُؤَالِ by demanding نَعْجَتِكَ your ewe إِلَىٰ to نِعَاجِهِۦ his ewes. وَإِنَّ And indeed, كَثِيرًا many مِّنَ of ٱلْخُلَطَآءِ the partners لَيَبْغِى certainly oppress بَعْضُهُمْ some of them عَلَىٰ [on] بَعْضٍ another إِلَّا except ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds وَقَلِيلٌ and few مَّا (are) they." هُمْ (are) they." وَظَنَّ And became certain دَاوُۥدُ Dawood أَنَّمَا that فَتَنَّٰهُ We (had) tried him, فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ and he asked forgiveness رَبَّهُۥ (of) his Lord وَخَرَّ and fell down رَاكِعًا bowing وَأَنَابَ and turned in repentance.
English - [David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds – and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah]. .
हिंदी - उसने कहा कि उसने तुम पर ज़्ाुल्म किया है अपनी भेड़ों के साथ तुम्हारी भेड़ मांग कर और बेशक अक्सर हिस्सेदार एक दूसरे पर ज़्ाुल्म किया करते हैं सिवाए उनके जो ईमान लाए और नेक काम करते रहे और वह बहुत ही कम हैं और दाऊद समझ गया कि हम ने उसे आज़्ामाया है तो उसने अपने रब से माफ़ी चाही और झुकते हुए गिरा और पलट आया।.
Ayah 25
فَغَفَرْنَا So We forgave لَهُۥ for him ذَٰلِكَ that. وَإِنَّ And indeed, لَهُۥ for him عِندَنَا with Us لَزُلْفَىٰ surely is a near access وَحُسْنَ and a good مَـَٔابٍ place of return.
English - So We forgave him that; and indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने उसके लिए वह माफ़ कर दिया और बेशक उसके लिए हमारे पास दर्जा है और अच्छा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 26
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ "O Dawood! إِنَّا Indeed, We جَعَلْنَٰكَ [We] have made you خَلِيفَةً a vicegerent فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, فَٱحْكُم so judge بَيْنَ between ٱلنَّاسِ [the] men بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth وَلَا and (do) not تَتَّبِعِ follow ٱلْهَوَىٰ the desire, فَيُضِلَّكَ for it will lead you astray عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَضِلُّونَ go astray عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌۢ severe بِمَا because نَسُوا۟ they forgot يَوْمَ (the) Day ٱلْحِسَابِ (of) Account."
English - [We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah.” Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account. .
हिंदी - ऐ दाऊद बेशक हम ने तुम्हें ज़्ामीन मेें ख़लीफ़ा (नायब) बनाया तो लोगों के बीच हक़ के साथ फ़ैसला करो और ख़्वाहिश के पीछे मत चलना कि वह तुम्हें अल्लाह के रास्ते से भटका देे। बेशक जो अल्लाह के रास्ते से भटक जाते हैं उनके लिए सख़्त अज़्ााब है इस वजह से कि उन्होंने हिसाब के दिन को भुला दिया।.
Ayah 27
وَمَا And not خَلَقْنَا We created ٱلسَّمَآءَ the heaven وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between them بَٰطِلًا without purpose. ذَٰلِكَ That ظَنُّ (is the) assumption ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve. فَوَيْلٌ So woe لِّلَّذِينَ to those كَفَرُوا۟ who disbelieve, مِنَ from ٱلنَّارِ the Fire.
English - And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire. .
हिंदी - और हम ने आसमान और ज़्ामीन और जो उन दोनों के बीच है, बेकार पैदा नहीं किया, यह गुमान है उनका जिन्होंने इंकार किया, तो बर्बादी है उनके लिए जिन्होंने इंकार किया, जो आग है।.
Ayah 28
أَمْ Or نَجْعَلُ should We treat ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ like those who spread corruption فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth? أَمْ Or نَجْعَلُ should We treat ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the pious كَٱلْفُجَّارِ like the wicked?
English - Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked? .
हिंदी - क्या हम उन्हें जो ईमान लाए और नेक काम करते रहे, ज़्ामीन में फ़साद करने वालों जैसा बना देंगे? या हम बचने वालों को बुरे काम करने वालों जैसा बना देंगे?.
Ayah 29
كِتَٰبٌ (This is) a Book أَنزَلْنَٰهُ We have revealed it إِلَيْكَ to you, مُبَٰرَكٌ blessed, لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ that they may ponder ءَايَٰتِهِۦ (over) its Verses وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ and may be reminded أُو۟لُوا۟ those of understanding. ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ those of understanding.
English - [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. .
हिंदी - एक किताब, जो हमने उतारी तुम्हारी तरफ़, बरकत वाली है ताकि वह लोग उसकी आयतों में ग़ौर करें और ताकि अक़्ल वाले याद करें।.
Ayah 30
وَوَهَبْنَا And We gave لِدَاوُۥدَ to Dawood سُلَيْمَٰنَ Sulaiman, نِعْمَ an excellent ٱلْعَبْدُ slave. إِنَّهُۥٓ Indeed, he أَوَّابٌ (was) one who repeatedly turned.
English - And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. .
हिंदी - और हम ने दाऊद को सुलैमान दिया, बहुत अच्छा बंदा, बेशक वह बहुत लौटने वाला था।.
Ayah 31
إِذْ When عُرِضَ were displayed عَلَيْهِ to him بِٱلْعَشِىِّ in the afternoon ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ excellent bred steeds. ٱلْجِيَادُ excellent bred steeds.
English - [Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses. .
हिंदी - जब शाम में तेज़्ा रफ़तार बेहतरीन घोडे़ उस पर पेश किए गए।.
Ayah 32
فَقَالَ And he said, إِنِّىٓ "Indeed, I أَحْبَبْتُ [I] preferred حُبَّ (the) love ٱلْخَيْرِ (of) the good عَن over ذِكْرِ (the) remembrance رَبِّى (of) my Lord." حَتَّىٰ Until تَوَارَتْ they were hidden بِٱلْحِجَابِ in the veil;
English - And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]." .
हिंदी - तो उसने कहा कि मैंने माल की मोहब्बत को पसंद किया अपने रब की याद से, यहां तक की वह (सूरज) पर्दे में छुप गया।.
Ayah 33
رُدُّوهَا "Return them عَلَىَّ to me." فَطَفِقَ Then he began مَسْحًۢا (to) pass (his hand) بِٱلسُّوقِ over the legs وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ and the necks.
English - [He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking [their] legs and necks. .
हिंदी - उन्हें मेरे पास लाओ, फिर पिंडलियों और गर्दनों को छूने लगा।.
Ayah 34
وَلَقَدْ And certainly فَتَنَّا We tried سُلَيْمَٰنَ Sulaiman, وَأَلْقَيْنَا and We placed عَلَىٰ on كُرْسِيِّهِۦ his throne جَسَدًا a body; ثُمَّ then أَنَابَ he turned.
English - And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned. .
हिंदी - और हम ने सुलैमान को आज़्ामाया और हम ने उसकी कुर्सी पर एक धड़ डाल दिया, फिर उसने तौबा की।.
Ayah 35
قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "O my Lord! ٱغْفِرْ Forgive لِى me وَهَبْ and grant لِى me مُلْكًا a kingdom, لَّا not يَنۢبَغِى (will) belong لِأَحَدٍ to anyone مِّنۢ after me. بَعْدِىٓ after me. إِنَّكَ Indeed, You أَنتَ [You] ٱلْوَهَّابُ (are) the Bestower."
English - He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower." .
हिंदी - कहा, ऐ मेरे रब मुझे माफ़ कर और मुझे ऐसी बादशाहत दे जो मेरे बाद किसी के लिए ना हो, बेशक तू ही बहुत देने वाला है।.
Ayah 36
فَسَخَّرْنَا Then We subjected لَهُ to him ٱلرِّيحَ the wind تَجْرِى to flow بِأَمْرِهِۦ by his command, رُخَآءً gently, حَيْثُ wherever أَصَابَ he directed,
English - So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed, .
हिंदी - तो हम ने हवा को उसके अधीन किया कि बहती थी उसके हुक्म से नर्मी के साथ जहां वह चाहता।.
Ayah 37
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ And the devils, كُلَّ every بَنَّآءٍ builder وَغَوَّاصٍ and diver,
English - And [also] the devils [of jinn] – every builder and diver .
हिंदी - और शैतानों को, हर बनाने वाले और डुबकी लगाने वाले।.
Ayah 38
وَءَاخَرِينَ And others مُقَرَّنِينَ bound فِى in ٱلْأَصْفَادِ chains.
English - And others bound together in shackles. .
हिंदी - और दूसरे, ज़्ांजीरों में जकड़े हुए।.
Ayah 39
هَٰذَا "This عَطَآؤُنَا (is) Our gift, فَٱمْنُنْ so grant أَوْ or أَمْسِكْ withhold بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ account."
English - [We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account." .
हिंदी - यह हमारी बख़्शिश है तो एहसान करो या रोक लो, कोई हिसाब नहीं।.
Ayah 40
وَإِنَّ And indeed, لَهُۥ for him عِندَنَا with Us لَزُلْفَىٰ surely is a near access وَحُسْنَ and a good مَـَٔابٍ place of return.
English - And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return. .
हिंदी - और उसके लिए हमारे पास दर्जा और अच्छा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 41
وَٱذْكُرْ And remember عَبْدَنَآ Our slave أَيُّوبَ Ayyub, إِذْ when نَادَىٰ he called رَبَّهُۥٓ his Lord, أَنِّى "That [I], مَسَّنِىَ (has) touched me ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ Shaitaan بِنُصْبٍ with distress وَعَذَابٍ and suffering."
English - And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." .
हिंदी - और हमारे बंदे अय्यूब को याद करो, जब उसने अपने रब को पुकारा कि शैतान ने मुझे तकलीफ़ और अज़्ााब के साथ छुआ है।.
Ayah 42
ٱرْكُضْ "Strike بِرِجْلِكَ with your foot. هَٰذَا This مُغْتَسَلٌۢ (is a spring of) water to bathe, بَارِدٌ cool وَشَرَابٌ and a drink."
English - [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink.” .
हिंदी - अपना पैर मार (ज़्ामीन पर), यह नहाने का ठंडा पानी है और पीने का।.
Ayah 43
وَوَهَبْنَا And We granted لَهُۥٓ [to] him أَهْلَهُۥ his family وَمِثْلَهُم and a like of them مَّعَهُمْ with them, رَحْمَةً a Mercy مِّنَّا from Us وَذِكْرَىٰ and a Reminder لِأُو۟لِى for those of understanding. ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ for those of understanding.
English - And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसे उसके घर वाले दिए और उनके साथ उनके बराबर अपनी तरफ़ से रहमत के तौर पर और अक़्ल वालों के लिए याद दिहानी है।.
Ayah 44
وَخُذْ "And take بِيَدِكَ in your hand ضِغْثًا a bunch فَٱضْرِب and strike بِّهِۦ with it وَلَا and (do) not تَحْنَثْ break (your) oath." إِنَّا Indeed, We وَجَدْنَٰهُ [We] found him صَابِرًا patient, نِّعْمَ an excellent ٱلْعَبْدُ slave. إِنَّهُۥٓ Indeed, he أَوَّابٌ repeatedly turned.
English - [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. .
हिंदी - और लेलो अपने हाथ में तिनको का गट्ठर फिर उस से मारो और क़सम मत तोड़ो, बेशक हम ने उसे सब्र करने वाला पाया, बहुत ही अच्छा बंदा, बेशक वह लौटने वाला था।.
Ayah 45
وَٱذْكُرْ And remember عِبَٰدَنَآ Our slaves إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim وَإِسْحَٰقَ and Isaac وَيَعْقُوبَ and Ayyub, أُو۟لِى possessors ٱلْأَيْدِى (of) strength وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ and vision.
English - And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – those of strength and [religious] vision. .
हिंदी - और हमारे बंदों, इब्राहीम और इसहाक़ और याक़ूब को याद करो जो हाथों वाले और आंखों वाले थे।.
Ayah 46
إِنَّآ Indeed, We أَخْلَصْنَٰهُم [We] chose them بِخَالِصَةٍ for an exclusive (quality); ذِكْرَى remembrance ٱلدَّارِ (of) the Home.
English - Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने उन्हें चुन लिया एक ख़ास बात से, जो कि घर की याद है।.
Ayah 47
وَإِنَّهُمْ And indeed, they عِندَنَا to Us لَمِنَ (are) from ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ the chosen ones, ٱلْأَخْيَارِ the best.
English - And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. .
हिंदी - और बेशक वह हमारे पास चुने हुए, ख़ैर वालों में से हैं।.
Ayah 48
وَٱذْكُرْ And remember إِسْمَٰعِيلَ Ishmael وَٱلْيَسَعَ and Elisha وَذَا and Dhul-kifl, ٱلْكِفْلِ and Dhul-kifl, وَكُلٌّ and all مِّنَ (are) from ٱلْأَخْيَارِ the best.
English - And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. .
हिंदी - और याद करो इसमाईल और यसअ और ज़्ाुलकिफ़्ल को और हर एक ख़ूबियों वालों में से था।.
Ayah 49
هَٰذَا This ذِكْرٌ (is) a Reminder. وَإِنَّ And indeed, لِلْمُتَّقِينَ for the righteous لَحُسْنَ surely, is a good مَـَٔابٍ place of return,
English - This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return .
हिंदी - यह एक याद दिहानी है और बेशक बचने वालों के लिए अच्छा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 50
جَنَّٰتِ Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) Eternity, مُّفَتَّحَةً (will be) opened لَّهُمُ for them ٱلْأَبْوَٰبُ the gates.
English - Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. .
हिंदी - हमेशा रहने के बाग़ हैं, ख़ुले हुए होंगे उनके लिए दरवाज़्ो।.
Ayah 51
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ Reclining فِيهَا therein, يَدْعُونَ they will call فِيهَا therein بِفَٰكِهَةٍ for fruit كَثِيرَةٍ many وَشَرَابٍ and drink.
English - Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. .
हिंदी - उन में टेक लगाए होंगे, उस में वह बहुत से फल मांग रहे होंगे और पीने की चीज़्ों।.
Ayah 52
وَعِندَهُمْ And with them قَٰصِرَٰتُ (will be) companions of modest gaze ٱلطَّرْفِ (will be) companions of modest gaze أَتْرَابٌ well-matched.
English - And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. .
हिंदी - और उनके पास नीची निगाह वालियाँ और हम उम्र (औरतें) होंगी।.
Ayah 53
هَٰذَا This مَا (is) what تُوعَدُونَ you are promised لِيَوْمِ for (the) Day ٱلْحِسَابِ (of) Account.
English - This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. .
हिंदी - यही है जिसका तुम से वादा किया जाता है हिसाब के दिन के लिए।.
Ayah 54
إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذَا this لَرِزْقُنَا (is) surely Our provision; مَا not لَهُۥ for it مِن any نَّفَادٍ depletion.
English - Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. .
हिंदी - बेशक यह हमारी रोज़्ाी है जिसकी कोई इंतेहा नहीं।.
Ayah 55
هَٰذَا This (is so)! وَإِنَّ And indeed, لِلطَّٰغِينَ for the transgressors لَشَرَّ surely (is) an evil مَـَٔابٍ place of return.
English - This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return – .
हिंदी - यह (बात) है और बेशक मुजरिमों के लिए बुरा ठिकाना है,.
Ayah 56
جَهَنَّمَ Hell; يَصْلَوْنَهَا they will burn therein فَبِئْسَ and wretched (is) ٱلْمِهَادُ the resting place.
English - Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. .
हिंदी - जहन्नम, जिस में वह जलेंगे तो क्या ही बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 57
هَٰذَا This (is so)! فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ Then let them taste it, حَمِيمٌ boiling fluid وَغَسَّاقٌ and purulence.
English - This – so let them taste it – is scalding water and [foul] purulence. .
हिंदी - यह खौलता हुआ गरम पानी और पीप है तो वह उसे चखें।.
Ayah 58
وَءَاخَرُ And other مِن of شَكْلِهِۦٓ its type أَزْوَٰجٌ (of various) kinds.
English - And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. .
हिंदी - और इस शक्ल की दूसरी और भी चीज़्ों होंगी।.
Ayah 59
هَٰذَا This فَوْجٌ (is) a company مُّقْتَحِمٌ bursting مَّعَكُمْ (in) with you. لَا No مَرْحَبًۢا welcome بِهِمْ for them. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they صَالُوا۟ (will) burn ٱلنَّارِ (in) the Fire.
English - [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." .
हिंदी - यह एक फ़ौज है जो तुम्हारे साथ दाख़िल होने वाली है, उनके लिए कोई आव भगत नहीं, बेशक वह आग में झुलसने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 60
قَالُوا۟ They say, بَلْ "Nay! أَنتُمْ You - لَا no مَرْحَبًۢا welcome بِكُمْ for you. أَنتُمْ You قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ brought this لَنَا upon us. فَبِئْسَ So wretched (is) ٱلْقَرَارُ the settlement."
English - They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." .
हिंदी - वह कहेंगे कि बल्कि तुम लोग, तुम्हारे लिए कोई आव भगत नहीं, तुम्हीं तो यह हमारे सामने लाए हो, तो बहुत ही बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 61
قَالُوا۟ They will say, رَبَّنَا "Our Lord, مَن whoever قَدَّمَ brought لَنَا upon us هَٰذَا this; فَزِدْهُ increase for him عَذَابًا a punishment ضِعْفًا double فِى in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire."
English - They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us – increase for him double punishment in the Fire." .
हिंदी - वह कहेंगे, ऐ हमारे रब जिसने हमारे सामने यह पेश किया तो तू उसे आग में दुगना अज़्ााब दे।.
Ayah 62
وَقَالُوا۟ And they (will) say, مَا "What (is) لَنَا for us لَا not نَرَىٰ we see رِجَالًا men كُنَّا we used to نَعُدُّهُم count them مِّنَ among ٱلْأَشْرَارِ the bad ones?
English - And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? .
हिंदी - और वह कहेंगे कि हमें क्या हुआ कि हम ऐसे लोगों को नहीं देख रहे जिनको हम बुरे लोगों में गिना करते थे।.
Ayah 63
أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ Did we take them سِخْرِيًّا (in) ridicule أَمْ or زَاغَتْ has turned away عَنْهُمُ from them ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ the vision?"
English - Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" .
हिंदी - क्या हम ने उनसे मज़्ााक़ किया या आंखें उनसे फिर गई हैं?.
Ayah 64
إِنَّ Indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that لَحَقٌّ (is) surely (the) truth - تَخَاصُمُ (the) quarreling أَهْلِ (of the) people ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire.
English - Indeed, that is truth – the quarreling of the people of the Fire. .
हिंदी - बेशक यह “आग वालों का आपस में झगड़ना” बिल्कुल सच है।.
Ayah 65
قُلْ Say, إِنَّمَآ "Only أَنَا۠ I am مُنذِرٌ a warner, وَمَا and not مِنْ (is there) any إِلَٰهٍ god إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah, ٱلْوَٰحِدُ the One ٱلْقَهَّارُ the Irresistible,
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. .
हिंदी - कहो, मैं तो बस आगाह करने वाला हूँ और कोई पूज्य नहीं मगर दबदबे वाला, अकेला अल्लाह।.
Ayah 66
رَبُّ Lord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between them, ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ the Oft-Forgiving."
English - Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." .
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़्ामीन का पालनहार है और जो उनकेे बीच है, ज़्ाबरदस्त, बहुत माफ़ करने वाला है।.
Ayah 67
قُلْ Say, هُوَ "It (is) نَبَؤٌا۟ a news عَظِيمٌ great,
English - Say, "It is great news .
हिंदी - कह दो कि वह एक बहुत बड़ी ख़बर है।.
Ayah 68
أَنتُمْ You عَنْهُ from it مُعْرِضُونَ turn away
English - From which you turn away. .
हिंदी - तुम उस से मुंह फेरने वाले हो।.
Ayah 69
مَا Not كَانَ is لِىَ for me مِنْ any عِلْمٍۭ knowledge بِٱلْمَلَإِ (of) the chiefs, ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ the exalted إِذْ when يَخْتَصِمُونَ they were disputing.
English - I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. .
हिंदी - मझे ऊपर की मजलिस की कोई जानकारी नहीं, जब वह झगड़ रहे थे।.
Ayah 70
إِن Not يُوحَىٰٓ has been revealed إِلَىَّ to me إِلَّآ except أَنَّمَآ that only أَنَا۠ I am نَذِيرٌ a warner مُّبِينٌ clear."
English - It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." .
हिंदी - मुझे वही (प्रकाशना) की जाती है कि मैं तो बस एक खुला आगाह करने वाला हँू।.
Ayah 71
إِذْ When قَالَ said رَبُّكَ your Lord لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ to the Angels, إِنِّى "Indeed, I Am خَٰلِقٌۢ going to create بَشَرًا a human being مِّن from طِينٍ clay.
English - [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. .
हिंदी - जब तुम्हारे रब ने फ़रिश्तों से कहा, बेशक मैं एक इंसान मिट्टी से पैदा करने वाला हूँ।.
Ayah 72
فَإِذَا So when سَوَّيْتُهُۥ I have proportioned him وَنَفَخْتُ and breathed فِيهِ into him مِن of رُّوحِى My spirit, فَقَعُوا۟ then fall down لَهُۥ to him سَٰجِدِينَ prostrating."
English - So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." .
हिंदी - फिर जब मैं उसे बराबर कर चुकूँ और उस में अपनी रूह फूंक दूँ तो उसके लिए सजदा करते हुए गिर पड़ो।.
Ayah 73
فَسَجَدَ So prostrated ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels كُلُّهُمْ all of them أَجْمَعُونَ together.
English - So the angels prostrated – all of them entirely. .
हिंदी - फिर सब के सब फ़रिश्तों ने सजदा किया,.
Ayah 74
إِلَّآ Except إِبْلِيسَ Iblis; ٱسْتَكْبَرَ he was arrogant وَكَانَ and became مِنَ of ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - सिवाए इबलीस, उसने घमंड किया और काफ़िरों में से हो गया।.
Ayah 75
قَالَ He said, يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ "O Iblis! مَا What مَنَعَكَ prevented you أَن that تَسْجُدَ you (should) prostrate لِمَا to (one) whom خَلَقْتُ I created بِيَدَىَّ with My Hands? أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ Are you arrogant أَمْ or كُنتَ are you مِنَ of ٱلْعَالِينَ the exalted ones."
English - [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" .
हिंदी - कहा, ऐ इबलीस तुझे सजदा करने से किस ने रोका, उसको जिसे मैंने अपने हाथों से पैदा किया, क्या तूने घमंड किया या बड़ाई करने वालों में से हो गया?.
Ayah 76
قَالَ He said, أَنَا۠ "I am خَيْرٌ better مِّنْهُ than him. خَلَقْتَنِى You created me مِن from نَّارٍ fire وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ and You created him مِن from طِينٍ clay."
English - He said, “I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” .
हिंदी - dgk] eSa ml ls csgrj gw¡] rwus eq>s vkx ls iSnk fd;k vkSj mls rwus feÍh ls iSnk fd;kA.
Ayah 77
قَالَ He said, فَٱخْرُجْ "Then get out مِنْهَا of it, فَإِنَّكَ for indeed, you رَجِيمٌ (are) accursed.
English - [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. .
हिंदी - कहा, फिर निकल यहा से, तू तो यक़ीनन धुतकारा हुआ है।.
Ayah 78
وَإِنَّ And indeed, عَلَيْكَ upon you لَعْنَتِىٓ (is) My curse إِلَىٰ until يَوْمِ (the) Day ٱلدِّينِ (of) Judgment."
English - And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." .
हिंदी - और बेशक तुझ पर मेरी लानत है बदले के दिन तक।.
Ayah 79
قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord! فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ Then give me respite إِلَىٰ until يَوْمِ (the) Day يُبْعَثُونَ they are resurrected."
English - He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." .
हिंदी - कहा, ऐ मेरे रब, फिर तू मुझे मोहलत दे लोगों के उठाए जाने के दिन तक।.
Ayah 80
قَالَ He said, فَإِنَّكَ "Then indeed, you مِنَ (are) of ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ those given respite,
English - [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved .
हिंदी - कहा, तो तू यक़ीनन ढील दिए जाने वालों में से है,.
Ayah 81
إِلَىٰ Until يَوْمِ (the) Day ٱلْوَقْتِ (of) the time ٱلْمَعْلُومِ well-known."
English - Until the Day of the time well-known." .
हिंदी - मालूम वक़्त के दिन तक।.
Ayah 82
قَالَ He said, فَبِعِزَّتِكَ "Then by Your might لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ I will surely mislead them أَجْمَعِينَ all.
English - [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all .
हिंदी - कहा, तो तेरी इज़्ज़्ात की क़सम, मैं ज़्ारूर उन सब को बहकाऊंगा,.
Ayah 83
إِلَّا Except عِبَادَكَ Your slaves مِنْهُمُ among them ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ the chosen ones."
English - Except, among them, Your chosen servants." .
हिंदी - उन में से तेरे ख़ालिस बंदों के सिवा।.
Ayah 84
قَالَ He said, فَٱلْحَقُّ "Then (it is) the truth وَٱلْحَقَّ and the truth أَقُولُ I say,
English - [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say – .
हिंदी - कहा, तो हक़ है और मैं हक़ ही कहता हूँ।.
Ayah 85
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ Surely I will fill جَهَنَّمَ Hell مِنكَ with you وَمِمَّن and those who تَبِعَكَ follow you مِنْهُمْ among them أَجْمَعِينَ all."
English - [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." .
हिंदी - मैं तुझ से और जो उन में से तेरे पीछे चलेंगे, सबसे जहन्नम को भर दूंगा।.
Ayah 86
قُلْ Say, مَآ "Not أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ I ask of you عَلَيْهِ for it مِنْ any أَجْرٍ payment, وَمَآ and not أَنَا۠ I am مِنَ of ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ the ones who pretend.
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur’an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious .
हिंदी - कहो, मैं तुम से इस पर किसी बदले का सवाल नहीं करता और ना ही मैं बनावट करने वालों में से हूँ।.
Ayah 87
إِنْ Not هُوَ it (is) إِلَّا except ذِكْرٌ a Reminder لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ to the worlds.
English - It is but a reminder to the worlds. .
हिंदी - यह नहीं है मगर एक याद दिहानी सारी दुनिया के लिए।.
Ayah 88
وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ And surely you will know نَبَأَهُۥ its information بَعْدَ after حِينٍۭ a time."
English - And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." .
हिंदी - और कुछ वक़्त के बाद तुम उसकी ख़बर ज़्ारूर जान लोगे।.
