Ayah 1
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ By those lined صَفًّا (in) rows,
English - By those [angels] lined up in rows .
हिंदी - क़सम है सफ़ बांधने वालों की, एक सीध में।.
Ayah 2
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ And those who drive زَجْرًا strongly,
English - And those who drive [the clouds] .
हिंदी - फिर डांटने वालों की, झिड़क कर।.
Ayah 3
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ And those who recite ذِكْرًا (the) Message,
English - And those who recite the message, .
हिंदी - फिर जि़्ाक्र (क़ुरआन) के पढ़ने वालों की।.
Ayah 4
إِنَّ Indeed, إِلَٰهَكُمْ your Lord لَوَٰحِدٌ (is) surely One,
English - Indeed, your God is One, .
हिंदी - cs”kd rqEgkjk iwT; ,d gSA.
Ayah 5
رَّبُّ Lord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, وَمَا and what بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between both of them وَرَبُّ and Lord ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ (of) each point of sunrise.
English - Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. .
हिंदी - आसमानों और ज़्ामीन का पालनहार है और जो उनके बीच है और सूरज के निकलने की जगाहों का रब है।.
Ayah 6
إِنَّا Indeed, We زَيَّنَّا [We] adorned ٱلسَّمَآءَ the sky ٱلدُّنْيَا [the world] بِزِينَةٍ with an adornment ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ (of) the stars.
English - Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने दुनिया के आसमान को सितारों की ख़ूबसूरती से सजा दिया,.
Ayah 7
وَحِفْظًا And (to) guard مِّن against كُلِّ every شَيْطَٰنٍ devil مَّارِدٍ rebellious,
English - And as protection against every rebellious devil .
हिंदी - और बचाव किया हर बाग़ी शैतान से।.
Ayah 8
لَّا Not يَسَّمَّعُونَ they may listen إِلَى to ٱلْمَلَإِ the assembly ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ [the] exalted, وَيُقْذَفُونَ are pelted مِن from كُلِّ every جَانِبٍ side,
English - [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, .
हिंदी - वह ऊपर की मजलिस तक नहीं सुन सकते और वह हर तरफ़ से फेंके जाते हैं,.
Ayah 9
دُحُورًا Repelled; وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment وَاصِبٌ perpetual,
English - Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, .
हिंदी - भगाने के लिए और उनके लिए हमेशा रहने वाला अज़्ााब है।.
Ayah 10
إِلَّا Except مَنْ (him) who خَطِفَ snatches ٱلْخَطْفَةَ (by) theft فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ but follows him شِهَابٌ a burning flame, ثَاقِبٌ piercing.
English - Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. .
हिंदी - मगर जो उचक ले तो एक दहकता हुआ अंगारा उसका पीछा करता है।.
Ayah 11
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ Then ask them, أَهُمْ "Are they أَشَدُّ a stronger خَلْقًا creation أَم or مَّنْ (those) whom خَلَقْنَآ We have created?" إِنَّا Indeed, We خَلَقْنَٰهُم created them مِّن from طِينٍ a clay لَّازِبٍۭ sticky.
English - Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. .
हिंदी - तो उन से पूछो, क्या उनका बनाना ज़्यादा मुश्किल है या वह जिन्हें हम ने पैदा किया? बेशक हम ने उन्हें चिपचिपी मिट्टी से पैदा किया।.
Ayah 12
بَلْ Nay, عَجِبْتَ you wonder, وَيَسْخَرُونَ while they mock.
English - But you wonder, while they mock, .
हिंदी - बल्कि तुम ने तो ताज्जुब किया और वह मज़्ााक़ उड़ाते हैं।.
Ayah 13
وَإِذَا And when ذُكِّرُوا۟ they are reminded, لَا not يَذْكُرُونَ they receive admonition.
English - And when they are reminded, they remember not. .
हिंदी - और जब उन्हें याद दिलाया जाता है तो वह याद नहीं करते।.
Ayah 14
وَإِذَا And when رَأَوْا۟ they see ءَايَةً a Sign, يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ they mock,
English - And when they see a sign, they ridicule .
हिंदी - और जब वह किसी निशानी को देखते हैं तो मज़्ााक़ उड़ाते हैं।.
Ayah 15
وَقَالُوٓا۟ And they say, إِنْ "Not هَٰذَآ (is) this إِلَّا except سِحْرٌ a magic مُّبِينٌ clear.
English - And say, "This is not but obvious magic. .
हिंदी - और कहते हैं, यह नहीं है मगर खुला हुआ जादू।.
Ayah 16
أَءِذَا Is it when مِتْنَا we are dead وَكُنَّا and have become تُرَابًا dust وَعِظَٰمًا and bones, أَءِنَّا shall we then لَمَبْعُوثُونَ be certainly resurrected,
English - When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? .
हिंदी - क्या जब हम मर जाएंगे और मिट्टी और हड्डियां हो जाएंगे तो क्या हम फिर उठाए जाएंगे?.
Ayah 17
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا Or our fathers ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ former?"
English - And our forefathers [as well]?" .
हिंदी - और क्या हमारे पहले बाप दादा भी?.
Ayah 18
قُلْ Say, نَعَمْ "Yes, وَأَنتُمْ and you دَٰخِرُونَ (will be) humiliated."
English - Say, “Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." .
हिंदी - कह दो, हाँ और तुम ज़्ालील होने वाले हो।.
Ayah 19
فَإِنَّمَا Then only هِىَ it زَجْرَةٌ (will be) a cry وَٰحِدَةٌ single, فَإِذَا then, behold! هُمْ They يَنظُرُونَ will see.
English - It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. .
हिंदी - वह तो एक चीख़ होगी फिर अचानक वह देख रहे होंगे।.
Ayah 20
وَقَالُوا۟ And they will say, يَٰوَيْلَنَا "O woe to us! هَٰذَا This يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلدِّينِ (of) the Recompense."
English - They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." .
हिंदी - और कहेंगे, हाय हमारी बर्बादी! यह बदले का दिन है।.
Ayah 21
هَٰذَا "This يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلْفَصْلِ (of) Judgment ٱلَّذِى which كُنتُم you used to بِهِۦ [of it] تُكَذِّبُونَ deny."
English - [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgment which you used to deny." .
हिंदी - यह फ़ैसले का दिन है जिसे तुम झुठलाया करते थे।.
Ayah 22
ٱحْشُرُوا۟ Gather ٱلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged, وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ and their kinds وَمَا and what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَعْبُدُونَ worship
English - [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship .
हिंदी - जमा करो उन्हें, जिन्होंने ज़्ाुल्म किया और उनके जोडा़ें (साथियों) को और जिनकी वह इबादत करते थे,.
Ayah 23
مِن Besides دُونِ Besides ٱللَّهِ Allah, فَٱهْدُوهُمْ then lead them إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطِ (the) Path ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire.
English - Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire .
हिंदी - अल्लाह के सिवा, तो उन्हें जहन्नम का रास्ता दिखा दो।.
Ayah 24
وَقِفُوهُمْ And stop them; إِنَّهُم indeed, they مَّسْـُٔولُونَ (are) to be questioned."
English - And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." .
हिंदी - और उन्हें रोके रखो, बेशक उनसे पूछ ताछ की जाएगी।.
Ayah 25
مَا "What لَكُمْ (is) for you? لَا (Why) not تَنَاصَرُونَ you help one another?"
English - [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" .
हिंदी - तुम्हें क्या हुआ कि एक दूसरे की मदद नहीं करते?.
Ayah 26
بَلْ Nay, هُمُ they ٱلْيَوْمَ (on) that Day مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ (will) surrender.
English - But they, that Day, are in surrender. .
हिंदी - बल्कि वह उस दिन सिर झुकाए खड़े होंगे।.
Ayah 27
وَأَقْبَلَ And will approach بَعْضُهُمْ some of them عَلَىٰ to بَعْضٍ others يَتَسَآءَلُونَ questioning one another.
English - And they will approach one another blaming each other. .
हिंदी - और एक दूसरे की तरफ़ मुँह करके आपस में सवाल करेंगे।.
Ayah 28
قَالُوٓا۟ They will say, إِنَّكُمْ "Indeed, you كُنتُمْ [you] used (to) تَأْتُونَنَا come (to) us عَنِ from ٱلْيَمِينِ the right."
English - They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." .
हिंदी - कहेंगे, बेशक तुम हमारे पास दायें से आते थे।.
Ayah 29
قَالُوا۟ They will say, بَل "Nay, لَّمْ not تَكُونُوا۟ you were مُؤْمِنِينَ believers,
English - The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, .
हिंदी - वह कहेंगे, बल्कि तुम ही ईमान लाने वाले नहीं थे।.
Ayah 30
وَمَا And not كَانَ was لَنَا for us عَلَيْكُم over you مِّن any سُلْطَٰنٍۭ authority. بَلْ Nay, كُنتُمْ you were قَوْمًا a people طَٰغِينَ transgressing.
English - And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. .
हिंदी - और तुम पर हमारा कोई ज़्ाोर नहीं था, बल्कि तुम ही सरकशी करने वाली क़ौम थे।.
Ayah 31
فَحَقَّ So has been proved true عَلَيْنَا against us قَوْلُ (the) Word رَبِّنَآ (of) our Lord; إِنَّا indeed, we لَذَآئِقُونَ (will) certainly taste.
English - So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. .
हिंदी - तो हम पर हमारे रब की बात सच साबित हुई, बेशक हम मज़्ाा चखने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 32
فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ So we led you astray; إِنَّا indeed, we كُنَّا were غَٰوِينَ astray."
English - And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators." .
हिंदी - तो हम ने तुम्हें गुमराह किया, बेशक हम ही गुमराह थे।.
Ayah 33
فَإِنَّهُمْ Then indeed, they يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day فِى in ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment مُشْتَرِكُونَ (will be) sharers.
English - So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment. .
हिंदी - तो बेशक वह उस दिन अज़्ााब में साझी होंगे।.
Ayah 34
إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus, نَفْعَلُ We deal بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ with the criminals.
English - Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ऐसा ही करते हैं मुजरिमों के साथ।.
Ayah 35
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوٓا۟ were, إِذَا when قِيلَ it was said لَهُمْ to them, لَآ "(There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah," يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ were arrogant
English - Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant .
हिंदी - जब उनसे कहा जाता था कि अल्लाह के सिवा कोई पूज्य नहीं तो वह घमंड करने लगते थे।.
Ayah 36
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, أَئِنَّا "Are we لَتَارِكُوٓا۟ to leave ءَالِهَتِنَا our gods لِشَاعِرٍ for a poet مَّجْنُونٍۭ mad?"
English - And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?" .
हिंदी - और कहते थे, क्या हम वाक़ई एक पागल शायर की वजह से अपने पूज्यों को छोड़ने वाले हैं?.
Ayah 37
بَلْ Nay, جَآءَ he has brought بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth وَصَدَّقَ and confirmed ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers.
English - Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers. .
हिंदी - बल्कि वह हक़ लेकर आया और उसने रसूलों को सच्चा बताया।.
Ayah 38
إِنَّكُمْ Indeed, you لَذَآئِقُوا۟ (will) surely taste ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment ٱلْأَلِيمِ painful,
English - Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, .
हिंदी - बेशक तुम ज़्ारूर दर्दनाक अज़्ााब का मज़्ाा चखने वाले हो।.
Ayah 39
وَمَا And not تُجْزَوْنَ you will be recompensed إِلَّا except مَا what كُنتُمْ you used to تَعْمَلُونَ do,
English - And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do – .
हिंदी - और तुम्हें बदला नहीं दिया जाएगा मगर उसका जो तुम करते थे।.
Ayah 40
إِلَّا Except عِبَادَ (the) slaves ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ the chosen ones.
English - But not the chosen servants of Allah. .
हिंदी - मगर अल्लाह के चुने हुए बंदे,.
Ayah 41
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those لَهُمْ for them رِزْقٌ (will be) a provision مَّعْلُومٌ determined,
English - Those will have a provision determined – .
हिंदी - यही हैं, जिनके लिए मालूम रिज़्क़ है,.
Ayah 42
فَوَٰكِهُ Fruits وَهُم and they مُّكْرَمُونَ (will) be honored
English - Fruits; and they will be honored .
हिंदी - फल, और उनकी इज़्ज़्ात की जाएगी,.
Ayah 43
فِى In جَنَّٰتِ Gardens ٱلنَّعِيمِ (of) Delight
English - In gardens of pleasure .
हिंदी - नेमत के बाग़ों में,.
Ayah 44
عَلَىٰ On سُرُرٍ thrones مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ facing each other.
English - On thrones facing one another. .
हिंदी - तख़्तों पर आमने सामने होंगे।.
Ayah 45
يُطَافُ Will be circulated عَلَيْهِم among them بِكَأْسٍ a cup مِّن from مَّعِينٍۭ a flowing spring,
English - There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, .
हिंदी - उन पर बहती शराब के प्याले फिराए जाएंगे,.
Ayah 46
بَيْضَآءَ White, لَذَّةٍ delicious لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ for the drinkers;
English - White and delicious to the drinkers; .
हिंदी - सफ़ेद, पीने वालों के लिए लज़्ज़्ात होगी।.
Ayah 47
لَا Not فِيهَا in it غَوْلٌ (is) bad effect وَلَا and not هُمْ they عَنْهَا from it يُنزَفُونَ will be intoxicated.
English - No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. .
हिंदी - ना उसमें सरदर्द होगा और ना वह उस से बहकेंगे।.
Ayah 48
وَعِندَهُمْ And with them قَٰصِرَٰتُ (will be) companions of modest gaze ٱلطَّرْفِ (will be) companions of modest gaze عِينٌ (having) beautiful eyes,
English - And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes, .
हिंदी - और उनके पास नीची निगाह वालियाँ, बड़ी आंखों वालियाँ होंगी,.
Ayah 49
كَأَنَّهُنَّ As if they were بَيْضٌ eggs, مَّكْنُونٌ well protected.
English - As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected. .
हिंदी - जैसे कि वह छुपे हुए अंडे हों।.
Ayah 50
فَأَقْبَلَ And (will) approach بَعْضُهُمْ some of them عَلَىٰ to بَعْضٍ others يَتَسَآءَلُونَ questioning one another.
English - And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. .
हिंदी - फिर एक दूसरे के सामने होकर आपस में सवाल करेंगे।.
Ayah 51
قَالَ Will say قَآئِلٌ a speaker مِّنْهُمْ among them, إِنِّى "Indeed, I كَانَ had لِى for me قَرِينٌ a companion,
English - A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] .
हिंदी - उन में से एक कहने वाला कहेगा कि मेरा एक साथी था।.
Ayah 52
يَقُولُ Who (would) say, أَءِنَّكَ "Are you indeed لَمِنَ surely of ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ those who believe?
English - Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe .
हिंदी - वह कहता था, क्या तुम यक़ीनन मानने वालों में से हो?.
Ayah 53
أَءِذَا Is (it) when مِتْنَا we have died وَكُنَّا and become تُرَابًا dust وَعِظَٰمًا and bones, أَءِنَّا will we لَمَدِينُونَ surely be brought to Judgment?"
English - That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?’” .
हिंदी - क्या जब हम मर जाएंगे और मिट्टी और हड्डियाँ हो जाएंगे तो क्या यक़ीनन हमें बदला दिया जाएगा?.
Ayah 54
قَالَ He (will) say, هَلْ "Will أَنتُم you مُّطَّلِعُونَ be looking?"
English - He will say, "Would you [care to] look?" .
हिंदी - कहेगा, क्या तुम झांक कर देखोगे?.
Ayah 55
فَٱطَّلَعَ Then he (will) look فَرَءَاهُ and see him فِى in سَوَآءِ (the) midst ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire.
English - And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire. .
हिंदी - फिर वह झांकेगा तो उसे जहन्नम के बीच देखेगा।.
Ayah 56
قَالَ He (will) say, تَٱللَّهِ "By Allah, إِن verily, كِدتَّ you almost لَتُرْدِينِ ruined me.
English - He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. .
हिंदी - कहेगा, अल्लाह की क़सम, क़रीब था कि तू मुझे बर्बाद कर देता।.
Ayah 57
وَلَوْلَا And if not نِعْمَةُ (for the) Grace رَبِّى (of) my Lord, لَكُنتُ certainly, I (would) have been مِنَ among ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ those brought."
English - If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]. .
हिंदी - और अगर मेरे रब की नेमत ना होती तो मैं भी हाजि़्ार किये गए लोगों में से होता।.
Ayah 58
أَفَمَا Then are not نَحْنُ we بِمَيِّتِينَ (to) die,
English - Then, are we not to die .
हिंदी - तो क्या हम मरने वाले नहीं हैं?.
Ayah 59
إِلَّا Except مَوْتَتَنَا our death ٱلْأُولَىٰ the first, وَمَا and not نَحْنُ we بِمُعَذَّبِينَ will be punished?"
English - Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" .
हिंदी - सिवाए हमारी पहली मौत के, और ना ही हमें अज़्ााब दिया जाएगा।.
Ayah 60
إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذَا this لَهُوَ surely ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the attainment ٱلْعَظِيمُ great.
English - Indeed, this is the great attainment. .
हिंदी - बेशक यही बड़ी कामयाबी है।.
Ayah 61
لِمِثْلِ For (the) like هَٰذَا (of) this, فَلْيَعْمَلِ let work ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ the workers.
English - For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. .
हिंदी - तो इस जैसी चीज़्ा के लिए काम करने वालों को काम करना चाहिए।.
Ayah 62
أَذَٰلِكَ Is that خَيْرٌ better نُّزُلًا (as) hospitality أَمْ or شَجَرَةُ (the) tree ٱلزَّقُّومِ (of) Zaqqum?
English - Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqūm? .
हिंदी - क्या यह अच्छी मेहमानी है या ज़्ाक़्क़ूम का पेड़?.
Ayah 63
إِنَّا Indeed, We جَعَلْنَٰهَا [We] have made it فِتْنَةً a trial لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ for the wrongdoers.
English - Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने इसे ज़्ाालिमों के लिए एक आज़्ामाइश बनाया।.
Ayah 64
إِنَّهَا Indeed, it شَجَرَةٌ (is) a tree تَخْرُجُ that grows فِىٓ in أَصْلِ (the) bottom ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire,
English - Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, .
हिंदी - बेशक यह एक ऐसा पेड़ है जो जहन्नम की जड़ में निकलता है।.
Ayah 65
طَلْعُهَا Its emerging fruit كَأَنَّهُۥ (is) as if it رُءُوسُ (was) heads ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ (of) the devils.
English - Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. .
हिंदी - उसका गुच्छा, जैसे वह शैतानों के सर हों।.
Ayah 66
فَإِنَّهُمْ And indeed, they لَءَاكِلُونَ (will) surely eat مِنْهَا from it فَمَالِـُٔونَ and fill مِنْهَا with it ٱلْبُطُونَ (their) bellies.
English - And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. .
हिंदी - तो बेशक वह उस में से खाने वाले हैं फिर उसी से पेट भरने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 67
ثُمَّ Then إِنَّ indeed, لَهُمْ for them عَلَيْهَا in it لَشَوْبًا (is) a mixture مِّنْ of حَمِيمٍ boiling water.
English - Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. .
हिंदी - फिर यक़ीनन उनके लिए उस पर गरम पानी की मिलावट होगी।.
Ayah 68
ثُمَّ Then إِنَّ indeed, مَرْجِعَهُمْ their return لَإِلَى (will) surely be to ٱلْجَحِيمِ the Hellfire.
English - Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. .
हिंदी - फिर बेशक उनकी वापसी, ज़्ारूर जहन्नम की तरफ़ होगी।.
Ayah 69
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they أَلْفَوْا۟ found ءَابَآءَهُمْ their fathers ضَآلِّينَ astray.
English - Indeed they found their fathers astray. .
हिंदी - यक़ीनन उन्होंने अपने बाप दादा को भटका हुआ पाया।.
Ayah 70
فَهُمْ So they عَلَىٰٓ on ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ their footsteps يُهْرَعُونَ they hastened.
English - So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps. .
हिंदी - फिर वह उन्हीं के (पांव के) निशानों पर दौड़े जा रहे हैं।.
Ayah 71
وَلَقَدْ And verily, ضَلَّ went astray قَبْلَهُمْ before them أَكْثَرُ most ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people),
English - And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन उन से पहले, अगलों में अकसर गुमराह हुए।.
Ayah 72
وَلَقَدْ And verily, أَرْسَلْنَا We sent فِيهِم among them مُّنذِرِينَ warners.
English - And We had already sent among them warners. .
हिंदी - और बेशक हम ने उन में ख़बरदार करने वाले भेजे।.
Ayah 73
فَٱنظُرْ Then see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ (of) those who were warned,
English - Then look how was the end of those who were warned – .
हिंदी - तो देखो, आगाह किए गए लोगों का क्या अंजाम हुआ।.
Ayah 74
إِلَّا Except عِبَادَ (the) slaves ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ the chosen ones.
English - But not the chosen servants of Allah. .
हिंदी - मगर अल्लाह के चुने हुए बंदे।.
Ayah 75
وَلَقَدْ And verily, نَادَىٰنَا called Us نُوحٌ Nuh; فَلَنِعْمَ and Best ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ (are We as) Responders!
English - And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. .
हिंदी - और नूह ने हमें पुकारा तो हम बहुत ही ख़ूब जवाब देने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 76
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ And We saved him وَأَهْلَهُۥ and his family مِنَ from ٱلْكَرْبِ the distress, ٱلْعَظِيمِ the great.
English - And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसे और उसके घर वालों को बड़ी मुसीबत से बचाया।.
Ayah 77
وَجَعَلْنَا And We made ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ his offspring هُمُ [they] ٱلْبَاقِينَ the survivors.
English - And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसकी नस्ल को बाक़ी रह जाने वाला बनाया।.
Ayah 78
وَتَرَكْنَا And We left عَلَيْهِ for him فِى among ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ the later generations.
English - And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: .
हिंदी - और हम ने छोड़ी उस की (तारीफ़) पीछे आने वालों में।.
Ayah 79
سَلَٰمٌ "Peace be عَلَىٰ upon نُوحٍ Nuh فِى among ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ the worlds."
English - "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." .
हिंदी - सलाम है नूह पर सारे जहानों में।.
Ayah 80
إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus نَجْزِى [We] reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम इसी तरह भलाई करने वालों को बदला देते हैं।.
Ayah 81
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he مِنْ (was) of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ believing.
English - Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. .
हिंदी - बेशक वह हमारे ईमान रखने वाले बंदों में से था।.
Ayah 82
ثُمَّ Then أَغْرَقْنَا We drowned ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ the others.
English - Then We drowned the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने दूसरों को डुबो दिया।.
Ayah 83
وَإِنَّ And indeed, مِن among شِيعَتِهِۦ his kind لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ (was) surely Ibrahim,
English - And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, .
हिंदी - और बेशक उसी के गिरोह से इब्राहीम था।.
Ayah 84
إِذْ When جَآءَ he came رَبَّهُۥ (to) his Lord بِقَلْبٍ with a heart سَلِيمٍ sound,
English - When he came to his Lord with a sound heart .
हिंदी - जब वह अपने रब के पास सही सलामत दिल लेकर आया।.
Ayah 85
إِذْ When قَالَ he said لِأَبِيهِ to his father وَقَوْمِهِۦ and his people, مَاذَا "What is it تَعْبُدُونَ you worship?
English - [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? .
हिंदी - जब उस ने अपने बाप और अपनी क़ौम से कहा कि तुम किस की इबादत करते हो?.
Ayah 86
أَئِفْكًا Is it falsehood - ءَالِهَةً gods دُونَ other than ٱللَّهِ Allah - تُرِيدُونَ (that) you desire?
English - Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? .
हिंदी - क्या तुम अल्लाह के सिवा, झूठे पूज्यों को चाहते हो?.
Ayah 87
فَمَا Then what ظَنُّكُم (do) you think بِرَبِّ about (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds?"
English - Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" .
हिंदी - तो तुम्हारा क्या ख़्याल है जहानों के रब के बारे में।.
Ayah 88
فَنَظَرَ Then he glanced نَظْرَةً a glance فِى at ٱلنُّجُومِ the stars,
English - And he cast a look at the stars .
हिंदी - तो उस ने एक नज़्ार डाली सितारों में ।.
Ayah 89
فَقَالَ And he said, إِنِّى "Indeed, I am سَقِيمٌ sick."
English - And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." .
हिंदी - फिर कहा, बेशक मैं बीमार हूँ।.
Ayah 90
فَتَوَلَّوْا۟ So they turned away عَنْهُ from him مُدْبِرِينَ departing.
English - So they turned away from him, departing. .
हिंदी - तो वह उस से पीठ फेर कर लौट गए।.
Ayah 91
فَرَاغَ Then he turned إِلَىٰٓ to ءَالِهَتِهِمْ their gods فَقَالَ and said, أَلَا "Do not تَأْكُلُونَ you eat?
English - Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? .
हिंदी - फिर उस ने उनके पूज्यों की तरफ़ रुख़ किया और कहा, क्या तुम खाते नहीं हो?.
Ayah 92
مَا What (is) لَكُمْ for you لَا not تَنطِقُونَ you speak?"
English - What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" .
हिंदी - तम्हें क्या हुआ कि तुम बोलते नहीं?.
Ayah 93
فَرَاغَ Then he turned عَلَيْهِمْ upon them ضَرْبًۢا striking بِٱلْيَمِينِ with the right hand.
English - And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. .
हिंदी - फिर उन पर टूट पड़ा दाहिने हाथ से मारने के लिए।.
Ayah 94
فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟ Then they advanced إِلَيْهِ towards him, يَزِفُّونَ hastening.
English - Then the people came toward him, hastening. .
हिंदी - फिर वह उसके पास दौड़ते हुए आए।.
Ayah 95
قَالَ He said, أَتَعْبُدُونَ "Do you worship مَا what تَنْحِتُونَ you carve
English - He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, .
हिंदी - उसने कहा कि क्या तुम उसे पूजते हो जिसे तुम तराशते हो?.
Ayah 96
وَٱللَّهُ While Allah خَلَقَكُمْ created you وَمَا and what تَعْمَلُونَ you make?"
English - While Allah created you and that which you do?" .
हिंदी - हालांकि अल्लाह ही ने तुम्हें पैदा किया और जो तुम बनाते हो।.
Ayah 97
قَالُوا۟ They said, ٱبْنُوا۟ "Build لَهُۥ for him بُنْيَٰنًا a structure فَأَلْقُوهُ and throw him فِى into ٱلْجَحِيمِ the blazing Fire."
English - They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." .
हिंदी - उन लोगों ने कहा कि उसके लिए एक इमारत बनाओ फिर उसे भट्टी में डाल दो।.
Ayah 98
فَأَرَادُوا۟ And they intended بِهِۦ for him كَيْدًا a plot, فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ but We made them ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ the lowest.
English - And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. .
हिंदी - फिर उन लोगों ने उसके साथ चाल चलनी चाही तो हम ने उन्हें नीचा कर दिया।.
Ayah 99
وَقَالَ And he said, إِنِّى "Indeed, I am ذَاهِبٌ going إِلَىٰ to رَبِّى my Lord, سَيَهْدِينِ He will guide me.
English - And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. .
हिंदी - और उस ने कहा, बेशक मैं अपने रब की तरफ़ जाने वाला हूँ, जल्द ही वह मुझे रास्ता दिखाएगा।.
Ayah 100
رَبِّ My Lord هَبْ grant لِى me مِنَ of ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous."
English - My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." .
हिंदी - ऐ मेरे रब, मुझे नेकों में से (औलाद) दे।.
Ayah 101
فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ So We gave him the glad tidings بِغُلَٰمٍ of a boy حَلِيمٍ forbearing.
English - So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. .
हिंदी - तो हम ने उसे एक सहनशील लड़के की ख़ुशख़बरी दी।.
Ayah 102
فَلَمَّا Then when بَلَغَ he reached مَعَهُ the (age of) working with him ٱلسَّعْىَ the (age of) working with him قَالَ he said, يَٰبُنَىَّ "O my son! إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I أَرَىٰ have seen فِى in ٱلْمَنَامِ the dream أَنِّىٓ that I am أَذْبَحُكَ sacrificing you, فَٱنظُرْ so look مَاذَا what تَرَىٰ you see." قَالَ He said, يَٰٓأَبَتِ "O my father! ٱفْعَلْ Do مَا what تُؤْمَرُ you are commanded. سَتَجِدُنِىٓ You will find me, إِن if شَآءَ Allah wills, ٱللَّهُ Allah wills, مِنَ of ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ the patient ones."
English - And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." .
हिंदी - फिर जब वह उसके साथ दौड़ने की (उम्र) को पहुंचा, तो कहा, ऐ मेरे प्यारे बेटे, बेशक मैं ख़्वाब में देखता हँू कि मैं तुझे जि़्ाबह कर रहा हँू, तो देखो तुम्हारी क्या राय है? उस ने कहा कि ऐ मेरे अब्बाजान, आप कीजिए जिसका आपको हुक्म दिया जाता है, अगर अल्लाह ने चाहा तो आप मुझे सब्र करने वालों में से पाएंगे।.
Ayah 103
فَلَمَّآ Then when أَسْلَمَا both of them had submitted وَتَلَّهُۥ and he put him down لِلْجَبِينِ upon his forehead,
English - And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, .
हिंदी - तो जब वह दोनों मान गए और उस ने उसे माथे के बल गिरा दिया।.
Ayah 104
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ And We called out to him أَن that يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ "O Ibrahim!
English - We called to him, "O Abraham, .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसे पुकारा कि ऐ इब्राहीम!.
Ayah 105
قَدْ Verily, صَدَّقْتَ you have fulfilled ٱلرُّءْيَآ the vision." إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus نَجْزِى [We] reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. .
हिंदी - तुम ने ख़्वाब सच कर दिखाया, बेशक हम इसी तरह अच्छाई करने वालों को बदला देते हैं।.
Ayah 106
إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذَا this لَهُوَ (was) surely [it] ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ the trial ٱلْمُبِينُ clear.
English - Indeed, this was the clear trial. .
हिंदी - यक़ीनन यह एक खुली आज़्ामाइश थी।.
Ayah 107
وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ And We ransomed him بِذِبْحٍ with a sacrifice عَظِيمٍ great,
English - And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसे छुड़ा लिया एक बड़ी कु़र्बानी के बदले।.
Ayah 108
وَتَرَكْنَا And We left عَلَيْهِ for him فِى among ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ the later generations.
English - And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: .
हिंदी - और हम ने उस की (तारीफ़) छोड़ी पिछलों में।.
Ayah 109
سَلَٰمٌ "Peace be عَلَىٰٓ on إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim."
English - "Peace upon Abraham." .
हिंदी - सलाम है इब्राहीम पर।.
Ayah 110
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَجْزِى We reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. .
हिंदी - इसी तरह हम अच्छाई करने वालों को बदला देते है।.
Ayah 111
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he (was) مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ believing.
English - Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. .
हिंदी - बेशक वह हमारे ईमान वाले बंदों में से था।.
Ayah 112
وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ And We gave him glad tidings بِإِسْحَٰقَ of Isaac, نَبِيًّا a Prophet مِّنَ among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.
English - And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसे इसहाक़ की ख़ुशख़बरी दी, एक नबी, नेकों में से।.
Ayah 113
وَبَٰرَكْنَا And We blessed عَلَيْهِ him وَعَلَىٰٓ and [on] إِسْحَٰقَ Isaac. وَمِن And of ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا their offspring مُحْسِنٌ (are) good-doers وَظَالِمٌ and unjust لِّنَفْسِهِۦ to himself مُبِينٌ clear.
English - And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उस पर और इसहाक़ पर बरकत की और उनकी नस्ल में से कोई अच्छाई करने वाला है और कोई अपनी जान पर खुला ज़्ाुल्म करने वाला है।.
Ayah 114
وَلَقَدْ And verily, مَنَنَّا We conferred Favor عَلَىٰ upon مُوسَىٰ Musa وَهَٰرُونَ and Harun.
English - And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन हम ने मूसा और हारून पर एहसान किया।.
Ayah 115
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا And We saved both of them وَقَوْمَهُمَا and their people مِنَ from ٱلْكَرْبِ the distress ٱلْعَظِيمِ the great,
English - And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, .
हिंदी - और हम ने उन दोनों और उनकी क़ौम को बड़ी परेशानी से बचा लिया।.
Ayah 116
وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ And We helped them, فَكَانُوا۟ so they became هُمُ so they became ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ the victors.
English - And We supported them so it was they who overcame. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उनकी मदद की तो वही हावी हुए।.
Ayah 117
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا And We gave both of them ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ the clear.
English - And We gave them the explicit Scripture, .
हिंदी - और हम ने उन दोनों को खुली किताब दी।.
Ayah 118
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا And We guided both of them ٱلصِّرَٰطَ (to) the Path ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ the Straight.
English - And We guided them on the straight path. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उन दोनों को सीधा रास्ता दिखाया।.
Ayah 119
وَتَرَكْنَا And We left عَلَيْهِمَا for both of them, فِى among ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ the later generations.
English - And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: .
हिंदी - और हम ने उन दोनों की (तारीफ़) छोड़ी पिछलों में।.
Ayah 120
سَلَٰمٌ "Peace be عَلَىٰ upon مُوسَىٰ Musa وَهَٰرُونَ and Harun."
English - "Peace upon Moses and Aaron.".
हिंदी - सलाम है मूसा और हारून पर।.
Ayah 121
إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus نَجْزِى reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम इसी तरह भलाई करने वालों को बदला देते हैं।.
Ayah 122
إِنَّهُمَا Indeed, both of them مِنْ (were) of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ believing.
English - Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. .
हिंदी - बेशक वह दोनों हमारे ईमान वाले बंदों में से थे।.
Ayah 123
وَإِنَّ And indeed, إِلْيَاسَ Elijah لَمِنَ (was) surely of ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers.
English - And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, .
हिंदी - और बेशक इलयास भी रसूलों में से था।.
Ayah 124
إِذْ When قَالَ he said لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ to his people, أَلَا "Will not تَتَّقُونَ you fear?
English - When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? .
हिंदी - जब कहा उसने अपनी क़ौम से, “क्या तुम डरते नही?”.
Ayah 125
أَتَدْعُونَ Do you call بَعْلًا Baal وَتَذَرُونَ and you forsake أَحْسَنَ (the) Best ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ (of) Creators -
English - Do you call upon Ba‘l and leave the best of creators – .
हिंदी - क्या तुम बअल (नामी मूर्ति) को पुकारते हो और सबसे बेहतर पैदा करने वाले को छोड़ देते हो?.
Ayah 126
ٱللَّهَ Allah, رَبَّكُمْ your Lord وَرَبَّ and (the) Lord ءَابَآئِكُمُ (of) your forefathers?" ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) your forefathers?"
English - Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" .
हिंदी - अल्लाह, तुम्हारा पालनहार है और तुम्हारे अगले बाप दादा का भी पालने वाला है।.
Ayah 127
فَكَذَّبُوهُ But they denied him, فَإِنَّهُمْ so indeed, they لَمُحْضَرُونَ (will) surely be brought,
English - And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], .
हिंदी - तो उन्होंने उसे झुठलाया, तो बेशक वह ज़्ारूर हाजि़्ार किए जाने वाले हैं,.
Ayah 128
إِلَّا Except عِبَادَ (the) slaves ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ the chosen ones.
English - Except the chosen servants of Allah. .
हिंदी - सिवाए अल्लाह के चुने हुए बंदे।.
Ayah 129
وَتَرَكْنَا And We left عَلَيْهِ for him فِى among ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ the later generations.
English - And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: .
हिंदी - और हम ने उस की (तारीफ़) छोड़ी पिछलों में।.
Ayah 130
سَلَٰمٌ "Peace be عَلَىٰٓ upon إِلْ يَاسِينَ Elijah."
English - "Peace upon Elias." .
हिंदी - और हम ने उस की (तारीफ़) छोड़ी पिछलों में।.
Ayah 131
إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus نَجْزِى reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम भलाई करने वालों को इसी तरह बदला देते हैं।.
Ayah 132
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he (was) مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ believing.
English - Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. .
हिंदी - बेशक वह हमारे ईमान वाले बंदों में से था।.
Ayah 133
وَإِنَّ And indeed, لُوطًا Lut لَّمِنَ (was) of ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers.
English - And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. .
हिंदी - और बेशक लूत, रसूलों में से था।.
Ayah 134
إِذْ When نَجَّيْنَٰهُ We saved him وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ and his family أَجْمَعِينَ all,
English - [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, .
हिंदी - जब हम ने उसे और उसके सब घर वालों को बचा लिया,.
Ayah 135
إِلَّا Except عَجُوزًا an old woman فِى (was) among ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ those who remained behind.
English - Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. .
हिंदी - flok, ,d cqf<+;k ds] ihNs jg tkus okyksa esaA.
Ayah 136
ثُمَّ Then دَمَّرْنَا We destroyed ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ the others.
English - Then We destroyed the others. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने दूसरों को तहस नहस कर दिया।.
Ayah 137
وَإِنَّكُمْ And indeed, you لَتَمُرُّونَ surely pass عَلَيْهِم by them مُّصْبِحِينَ (in the) morning,
English - And indeed, you pass by them in the morning .
हिंदी - और बेशक तुम उन पर गुज़्ारते हो सुबह को,.
Ayah 138
وَبِٱلَّيْلِ And at night. أَفَلَا Then will not تَعْقِلُونَ you use reason?
English - And at night. Then will you not use reason? .
हिंदी - और रात में भी, तो क्या तुम्हें अक़्ल नहीं।.
Ayah 139
وَإِنَّ And indeed, يُونُسَ Yunus لَمِنَ (was) surely of ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers.
English - And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers. .
हिंदी - और बेशक यूनुस रसूलों में से था।.
Ayah 140
إِذْ When أَبَقَ he ran away إِلَى to ٱلْفُلْكِ the ship ٱلْمَشْحُونِ laden.
English - [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. .
हिंदी - जब वह भरी हुई नाव की तरफ़ भागा।.
Ayah 141
فَسَاهَمَ Then he drew lots فَكَانَ and was مِنَ of ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ the losers.
English - And he drew lots and was among the losers. .
हिंदी - फिर पर्ची डालने में हिस्सा लिया तो वह हारने वालों में से हो गया।.
Ayah 142
فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ Then swallowed him ٱلْحُوتُ the fish, وَهُوَ while he مُلِيمٌ (was) blameworthy.
English - Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. .
हिंदी - फिर मछली ने उसे निगल लिया और वह (ख़ुद को) बुरा भला कह रहा था।.
Ayah 143
فَلَوْلَآ And if not أَنَّهُۥ that he كَانَ was مِنَ of ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ those who glorify
English - And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, .
हिंदी - फिर अगर यह पाकी बयान करने वालों में से ना होता,.
Ayah 144
لَلَبِثَ Certainly, he (would have) remained فِى in بَطْنِهِۦٓ its belly إِلَىٰ until يَوْمِ the Day يُبْعَثُونَ they are resurrected.
English - He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. .
हिंदी - तो उठाए जाने के दिन तक उसके पेट में ही रहता।.
Ayah 145
فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ But We cast him بِٱلْعَرَآءِ onto the open shore وَهُوَ while he سَقِيمٌ (was) ill.
English - But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने उसे खुले मैदान में डाल दिया और वह बीमार था।.
Ayah 146
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا And We caused to grow عَلَيْهِ over him شَجَرَةً a plant مِّن of يَقْطِينٍ gourd.
English - And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उस पर कद्दू का एक पेड़ उगा दिया।.
Ayah 147
وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ And We sent him إِلَىٰ to مِا۟ئَةِ a hundred أَلْفٍ thousand أَوْ or يَزِيدُونَ more.
English - And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उसे एक लाख या उस से ज़्यादा लोगों की तरफ़ भेजा।.
Ayah 148
فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ And they believed, فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ so We gave them enjoyment إِلَىٰ for حِينٍ a while.
English - And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. .
हिंदी - तो वह लोग ईमान ले आए फिर हम ने उन्हें एक वक़्त तक फ़ायदा पहुंचाया।.
Ayah 149
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ Then ask them, أَلِرَبِّكَ "Does your Lord ٱلْبَنَاتُ (have) daughters وَلَهُمُ while for them ٱلْبَنُونَ (are) sons?"
English - So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? .
हिंदी - तो इन से पूछो, क्या तुम्हारे रब के लिए बेटियाँ हैं और उनके लिए बेटे हैं?.
Ayah 150
أَمْ Or خَلَقْنَا did We create ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ the Angels إِنَٰثًا females وَهُمْ while they شَٰهِدُونَ (were) witnesses?
English - Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" .
हिंदी - या हम ने फ़रिश्तों को औरतें पैदा किया और वह हाजि़्ार थे।.
Ayah 151
أَلَآ No doubt, إِنَّهُم indeed, they مِّنْ of إِفْكِهِمْ their falsehood لَيَقُولُونَ [they] say,
English - Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, .
हिंदी - ख़बरदार! बेशक यह लोग अपनी झूठ बात कह रहे हैं,.
Ayah 152
وَلَدَ "Allah has begotten," ٱللَّهُ "Allah has begotten," وَإِنَّهُمْ and indeed, they لَكَٰذِبُونَ surely (are) liars.
English - "Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. .
हिंदी - कि अल्लाह ने जना, और बेशक यह झूठे हैं।.
Ayah 153
أَصْطَفَى Has He chosen ٱلْبَنَاتِ [the] daughters عَلَى over ٱلْبَنِينَ sons?
English - Has He chosen daughters over sons? .
हिंदी - क्या अल्लाह ने बेटियों को बेटों पर चुन लिया है?.
Ayah 154
مَا What is with you? لَكُمْ What is with you? كَيْفَ How تَحْكُمُونَ you judge?
English - What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgment? .
हिंदी - तुम्हें क्या हो गया है? तुम कैसा हुक्म लगाते हो।.
Ayah 155
أَفَلَا Then will not تَذَكَّرُونَ you pay heed?
English - Then will you not be reminded? .
हिंदी - तो क्या तुम याद नहीं रखते?.
Ayah 156
أَمْ Or لَكُمْ (is) for you سُلْطَٰنٌ an authority مُّبِينٌ clear?
English - Or do you have a clear authority? .
हिंदी - या तुम्हारे पास कोई खुली दलील है?.
Ayah 157
فَأْتُوا۟ Then bring بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ your book, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful.
English - Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. .
हिंदी - तो अपनी किताब ले आओ अगर तुम सच्चे हो।.
Ayah 158
وَجَعَلُوا۟ And they have made بَيْنَهُۥ between Him وَبَيْنَ and between ٱلْجِنَّةِ the jinn نَسَبًا a relationship, وَلَقَدْ but certainly, عَلِمَتِ know ٱلْجِنَّةُ the jinn إِنَّهُمْ that they لَمُحْضَرُونَ (will) surely be brought.
English - And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने उसके बीच और जिनों के बीच एक रिश्ता बनाया, और जिनों को मालूम है कि वह ज़्ारूर हाजि़्ार किये जाने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 159
سُبْحَٰنَ Glory be ٱللَّهِ (to) Allah عَمَّا above what يَصِفُونَ they attribute,
English - Exalted is Allah above what they describe, .
हिंदी - अल्लाह पाक है उस से जो वह बता रहे हैं,.
Ayah 160
إِلَّا Except عِبَادَ (the) slaves ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ the chosen.
English - Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. .
हिंदी - सिवाए अल्लाह के चुने हुए बंदों के।.
Ayah 161
فَإِنَّكُمْ So indeed, you وَمَا and what تَعْبُدُونَ you worship,
English - So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, .
हिंदी - तो यक़ीनन तुम और जिसे तुम पूजते हो,.
Ayah 162
مَآ Not أَنتُمْ you عَلَيْهِ from Him بِفَٰتِنِينَ can tempt away (anyone).
English - You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him .
हिंदी - तुम उसके ख़िलाफ़ (किसी को) बहका नहीं सकते,.
Ayah 163
إِلَّا Except مَنْ who هُوَ he صَالِ (is) to burn ٱلْجَحِيمِ (in) the Hellfire.
English - Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. .
हिंदी - मगर वह जो जहन्नम में झुलसने वाला है।.
Ayah 164
وَمَا "And not مِنَّآ among us إِلَّا except لَهُۥ for him مَقَامٌ (is) a position مَّعْلُومٌ known.
English - [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. .
हिंदी - और हम में से नहीं है, मगर उसके लिए एक जगह तय है।.
Ayah 165
وَإِنَّا And indeed, we لَنَحْنُ surely, [we] ٱلصَّآفُّونَ stand in rows.
English - And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. .
हिंदी - और बेशक हम सफ़ बांधे रहने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 166
وَإِنَّا And indeed, we لَنَحْنُ surely, [we] ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ glorify (Allah)."
English - And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." .
हिंदी - और बेशक हम पाकी बयान करने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 167
وَإِن And indeed, كَانُوا۟ they used to لَيَقُولُونَ say,
English - And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, .
हिंदी - और बेशक वह कहते थे,.
Ayah 168
لَوْ "If أَنَّ that عِندَنَا we had ذِكْرًا a reminder مِّنَ from ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ the former (people),
English - "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, .
हिंदी - कि काश हमारे पास अगलों की कोई नसीहत होती,.
Ayah 169
لَكُنَّا Certainly, we (would) have been عِبَادَ slaves ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ the chosen."
English - We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." .
हिंदी - तो हम अल्लाह के चुने हुए बंदे हो जाते।.
Ayah 170
فَكَفَرُوا۟ But they disbelieved بِهِۦ in it, فَسَوْفَ so soon يَعْلَمُونَ they will know.
English - But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. .
हिंदी - फिर उन्होंने उसका इंकार किया तो जल्द वह जान लेंगे।.
Ayah 171
وَلَقَدْ And verily, سَبَقَتْ has preceded كَلِمَتُنَا Our Word لِعِبَادِنَا for Our slaves, ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers,
English - And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, .
हिंदी - और बेशक हमारी बात पहले ही हो चुकी है हमारे भेजे हुए बंदों (रसूलों) के लिए,.
Ayah 172
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed they, لَهُمُ surely they ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ (would be) the victorious.
English - [That] indeed, they would be those given victory .
हिंदी - कि बेशक वही मदद किए जाने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 173
وَإِنَّ And indeed, جُندَنَا Our host لَهُمُ surely, they ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ (will be) those who overcome.
English - And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. .
हिंदी - और बेशक हमारी फ़ौज ही हावी आने वाली है।.
Ayah 174
فَتَوَلَّ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them حَتَّىٰ until حِينٍ a time.
English - So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. .
हिंदी - तो तुम एक वक़्त तक उन से मुंह फेर लो,.
Ayah 175
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ And see them, فَسَوْفَ so soon يُبْصِرُونَ they will see.
English - And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. .
हिंदी - और उन्हें देखते रहो, तो जल्द यह भी देख लेंगे।.
Ayah 176
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا Then is (it) for Our punishment يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ they hasten?
English - Then for Our punishment are they impatient? .
हिंदी - तो क्या वह हमारे अज़्ााब में जल्दी मचा रहे हैं?.
Ayah 177
فَإِذَا But when نَزَلَ it descends بِسَاحَتِهِمْ in their territory, فَسَآءَ then evil (will be) صَبَاحُ (the) morning ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ (for) those who were warned.
English - But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. .
हिंदी - फिर जब वह उनके मैदान में उतरेगा तो ख़बरदार किए हुओं की सुबह बुरी होगी।.
Ayah 178
وَتَوَلَّ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them حَتَّىٰ for حِينٍ a time.
English - And leave them for a time. .
हिंदी - और तुम एक वक़्त तक उन से मुंह मोड़ लो।.
Ayah 179
وَأَبْصِرْ And see, فَسَوْفَ so soon يُبْصِرُونَ they will see.
English - And see, for they are going to see. .
हिंदी - और देखते रहो, तो जल्द यह भी देख लेंगे।.
Ayah 180
سُبْحَٰنَ Glory رَبِّكَ (be to) your Lord, رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعِزَّةِ (of) Honor, عَمَّا above what يَصِفُونَ they attribute.
English - Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. .
हिंदी - तुम्हारा रब पाक है, इज़्ज़्ात का मालिक, उस से जो वह बयान करते हैं।.
Ayah 181
وَسَلَٰمٌ And peace be عَلَى upon ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers.
English - And peace upon the messengers. .
हिंदी - और सलाम है रसूलों पर।.
Ayah 182
وَٱلْحَمْدُ And all praise لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah, رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds.
English - And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. .
हिंदी - और सब तारीफ़, सारी दुनिया के पालनहार, अल्लाह के लिए है।.
