Ayah 1
ٱلْحَمْدُ All praises لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah, فَاطِرِ Originator ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, جَاعِلِ (Who) makes ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ the Angels رُسُلًا messengers أُو۟لِىٓ having wings أَجْنِحَةٍ having wings مَّثْنَىٰ two وَثُلَٰثَ or three وَرُبَٰعَ or four. يَزِيدُ He increases فِى in ٱلْخَلْقِ the creation مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - सारी तारीफ़ अल्लाह के लिए है, आसमानों और ज़्ामीन का पैदा करने वाला, दो दो और तीन तीन और चार चार परों वाले फ़रिश्तोें को रसूल (संदेशवाहक) बनाने वाला है। वह पैदाइश (मख़लूक़) में जो चाहता है बढ़ोतरी करता है, बेशक अल्लाह हर चीज़्ा पर ख़ूब ताक़त रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 2
مَّا What يَفْتَحِ Allah grants ٱللَّهُ Allah grants لِلنَّاسِ to mankind مِن of رَّحْمَةٍ Mercy, فَلَا then none مُمْسِكَ (can) withhold لَهَا it. وَمَا And what يُمْسِكْ He withholds, فَلَا then none مُرْسِلَ (can) release لَهُۥ it مِنۢ thereafter. بَعْدِهِۦ thereafter. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy – none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds – none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - जो अल्लाह रहमत में से लोगों के लिए खोल दे तो उसे कोई रोकने वाला नहीं और जो वह रोक ले तो उसके बाद उसे कोई भेजने वाला नहीं और वह बहुत इज़्ज़्ात वाला, बड़ा सूझ बूझ वाला है।.
Ayah 3
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind! ٱذْكُرُوا۟ Remember نِعْمَتَ (the) Favor ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah عَلَيْكُمْ upon you. هَلْ Is مِنْ (there) any خَٰلِقٍ creator غَيْرُ other (than) Allah ٱللَّهِ other (than) Allah يَرْزُقُكُم who provides for you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth? لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ He. فَأَنَّىٰ Then, how تُؤْفَكُونَ (are) you deluded?
English - O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded? .
हिंदी - ऐ लोगो, अपने ऊपर अल्लाह की नेमत (उपकार) को याद करो, क्या कोई पैदा करने वाला है अल्लाह के सिवा जो तुम्हें आसमान और ज़्ामीन से रोज़्ाी देता है? उसके सिवा कोई पूज्य नहीं, फिर कहाँ तुम फिरे जा रहेे हो?.
Ayah 4
وَإِن And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ they deny you, فَقَدْ then certainly كُذِّبَتْ were denied رُسُلٌ Messengers مِّن before you. قَبْلِكَ before you. وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah تُرْجَعُ return ٱلْأُمُورُ the matters.
English - And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] – already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah are returned [all] matters. .
हिंदी - और अगर वह तुम्हें झुठलाते हैं तो तुम से पहले रसूल झुठलाए जा चुके हैं और अल्लाह ही की तरफ़ सारे मामले लौटाए जाते हैं।.
Ayah 5
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind! إِنَّ Indeed, وَعْدَ (the) promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah حَقٌّ (is) true. فَلَا So (let) not تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ deceive you ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَلَا and (let) not يَغُرَّنَّكُم deceive you بِٱللَّهِ about Allah ٱلْغَرُورُ the Deceiver.
English - O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver. .
हिंदी - ऐ लोगो, बेशक अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है तो तुम्हें बिल्कुल धोके मे ना डाले दुनिया की जि़्ांदगी और ना ही तुम्हें धोके में डाले बड़ा धोकेबाज़्ा, अल्लाह के सिलसिले में।.
Ayah 6
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ the Shaitaan لَكُمْ (is) to you عَدُوٌّ an enemy, فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ so take him عَدُوًّا (as) an enemy. إِنَّمَا Only يَدْعُوا۟ he invites حِزْبَهُۥ his party لِيَكُونُوا۟ that they may be مِنْ among أَصْحَٰبِ (the) companions ٱلسَّعِيرِ (of) the Blaze.
English - Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze. .
हिंदी - बेशक शैतान तुम्हारा दुश्मन है तो उसे दुश्मन बनाओ। वह सिर्फ इसलिए अपने गिरोह को बुलाता है ताकि वह आग वालों में से हो जाएं।.
Ayah 7
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (will be) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe, وَٱلَّذِينَ and those ءَامَنُوا۟ who believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds, لَهُم for them مَّغْفِرَةٌ (will be) forgiveness وَأَجْرٌ and a reward كَبِيرٌ great.
English - Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward. .
हिंदी - जिन्होंने कुफ्ऱ किया, उनके लिए सख़्त अज़्ााब है और जो ईमान लाए और जिन्होंने नेक अमल किए, उनके लिए माफ़ी है और बहुत बड़ा बदला है।.
Ayah 8
أَفَمَن Then is (he) who - زُيِّنَ is made fair-seeming لَهُۥ to him سُوٓءُ (the) evil عَمَلِهِۦ (of) his deed - فَرَءَاهُ so that he sees it حَسَنًا (as) good? فَإِنَّ For indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُضِلُّ lets go astray مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَهْدِى and guides مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. فَلَا So (let) not تَذْهَبْ go out نَفْسُكَ your soul عَلَيْهِمْ for them حَسَرَٰتٍ (in) regrets. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower بِمَا of what يَصْنَعُونَ they do.
English - Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do. .
हिंदी - तो क्या वह जिसके लिए उसके काम की बुराई सजा दी गई, फिर वह उसे अच्छा (भी) समझे? तो बेशक अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है भटका देता है और जिसे चाहता है सीधा रास्ता दिखाता है, तो तुम्हारी जान ना चली जाए उन पर अफ़सोस करके, बेशक अल्लाह उसे ख़ूब जानने वाला हैै जो वह करते हैं।.
Ayah 9
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَرْسَلَ sends ٱلرِّيَٰحَ the winds فَتُثِيرُ so that they raise سَحَابًا (the) clouds, فَسُقْنَٰهُ and We drive them إِلَىٰ to بَلَدٍ a land مَّيِّتٍ dead فَأَحْيَيْنَا and We revive بِهِ therewith ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth بَعْدَ after مَوْتِهَا its death. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus ٱلنُّشُورُ (will be) the Resurrection.
English - And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह ही है वह जो हवाओं को भेजता है तो वह बादल को उभारती हैं, फिर हम उसे एक बेजान शहर की तरफ़ चलाते हैं, फिर हम उस से ज़्ामीन को जि़्ांदा करते हैं उसके मुर्दा होने के बाद, इसी तरह दोबारा उठाया जाना है।.
Ayah 10
مَن Whoever كَانَ [is] desires يُرِيدُ [is] desires ٱلْعِزَّةَ the honor, فَلِلَّهِ then for Allah ٱلْعِزَّةُ (is) the Honor جَمِيعًا all. إِلَيْهِ To Him يَصْعَدُ ascends ٱلْكَلِمُ the words ٱلطَّيِّبُ good, وَٱلْعَمَلُ and the deed ٱلصَّٰلِحُ righteous يَرْفَعُهُۥ raises it. وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who يَمْكُرُونَ plot ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ the evil, لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe, وَمَكْرُ and (the) plotting أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ (of) those - هُوَ it يَبُورُ (will) perish.
English - Whoever desires honor [through power] – then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those – it will perish. .
हिंदी - जो इज़्ज़्ात चाहता हो, तो सारी इज़्ज़्ात अल्लाह ही के लिए है। उसी की तरफ़ पाकीज़्ाा बातें चढ़ती हैं और नेक काम उसे ऊँचा करता है और जो बुराइयों की साजि़्ाश करते हैं, उनके लिए सख़्त अज़्ााब है और उनकी साजि़्ाश, वह बर्बाद हो कर रहेगी।.
Ayah 11
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَلَقَكُم created you مِّن from تُرَابٍ dust, ثُمَّ then مِن from نُّطْفَةٍ a semen-drop; ثُمَّ then جَعَلَكُمْ He made you أَزْوَٰجًا pairs. وَمَا And not تَحْمِلُ conceives مِنْ any أُنثَىٰ female وَلَا and not تَضَعُ gives birth إِلَّا except بِعِلْمِهِۦ with His knowledge. وَمَا And not يُعَمَّرُ is granted life مِن any مُّعَمَّرٍ aged person وَلَا and not يُنقَصُ is lessened مِنْ from عُمُرِهِۦٓ his life إِلَّا but فِى (is) in كِتَٰبٍ a Register. إِنَّ Indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَى for ٱللَّهِ Allah يَسِيرٌ (is) easy.
English - And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह ने तुम्हें मिट्टी से पैदा किया, फिर एक बँूद (नुत्फ़े) से, फिर तुम्हारे जोड़े बनाए और ना कोई मादा पेट से होती है और ना वह जनती है, मगर उसके इल्म से और ना किसी बड़ी उम्र वाले को उम्र दी जाती है और ना उसकी उम्र में से कमी की जाती है, मगर (सब कुछ) एक किताब में है, बेशक यह अल्लाह पर बहुत आसान है।.
Ayah 12
وَمَا And not يَسْتَوِى are alike ٱلْبَحْرَانِ the two seas. هَٰذَا This عَذْبٌ (is) fresh, فُرَاتٌ sweet, سَآئِغٌ pleasant شَرَابُهُۥ its drink, وَهَٰذَا and this مِلْحٌ salty أُجَاجٌ (and) bitter. وَمِن And from كُلٍّ each تَأْكُلُونَ you eat لَحْمًا meat طَرِيًّا fresh وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ and you extract حِلْيَةً ornaments تَلْبَسُونَهَا you wear them, وَتَرَى and you see ٱلْفُلْكَ the ships فِيهِ in it, مَوَاخِرَ cleaving, لِتَبْتَغُوا۟ so that you may seek مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty, وَلَعَلَّكُمْ and that you may تَشْكُرُونَ be grateful.
English - And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. .
हिंदी - और दो समंदर बराबर नहीं हैं, यह बहुत मीठा है जिसका पीना अच्छा है और यह खारा कड़वा है और हर एक से तुम ताज़्ाा गोश्त खाते हो और ज़्ोवर निकालते हो, जिसे तुम पहनते हो और तुम उस में कश्तियों को (पानी) चीरते हुए देेखते हो, ताकि तुम उसके फ़ज़्ल में से तलाश करो और शायद कि तुम शुक्र अदा करो।.
Ayah 13
يُولِجُ He causes to enter ٱلَّيْلَ the night فِى in (to) ٱلنَّهَارِ the day وَيُولِجُ and He causes to enter ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فِى in (to) ٱلَّيْلِ the night, وَسَخَّرَ and He has subjected ٱلشَّمْسَ the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon كُلٌّ each يَجْرِى running لِأَجَلٍ for a term مُّسَمًّى appointed. ذَٰلِكُمُ That (is) ٱللَّهُ Allah, رَبُّكُمْ your Lord, لَهُ for Him ٱلْمُلْكُ (is) the Dominion. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those whom تَدْعُونَ you invoke مِن besides Him, دُونِهِۦ besides Him, مَا not يَمْلِكُونَ they possess مِن even قِطْمِيرٍ (as much as) the membrane of a date-seed.
English - He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon – each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed. .
हिंदी - वह रात को दिन में दाख़िल करता है और दिन को रात में दाख़िल करता है, और सूरज और चाँद को क़ाबू में किया है, हर एक चल रहा है एक तय वक़्त के लिए। वही अल्लाह तुम्हारा पालनहार है, उसी के लिए बादशाहत है और उस के सिवा जिन्हें तुम पुकारते हो, वह खजूर की गुठली के छिलके के भी मालिक नहीं हैं।.
Ayah 14
إِن If تَدْعُوهُمْ you invoke them لَا not يَسْمَعُوا۟ they hear دُعَآءَكُمْ your call; وَلَوْ and if سَمِعُوا۟ they heard, مَا not ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ they (would) respond لَكُمْ to you. وَيَوْمَ And (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection يَكْفُرُونَ they will deny بِشِرْكِكُمْ your association. وَلَا And none يُنَبِّئُكَ can inform you مِثْلُ like خَبِيرٍ (the) All-Aware.
English - If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters]. .
हिंदी - अगर तुम उन्हें पुकारो तो वह तुम्हारी पुकार नहीं सुन सकते और अगर वह सुन भी लें तो वह तुम्हें जवाब नहीं दे सकते और क़यामत के दिन वह तुम्हारे शिर्क को नकार देंगे और तुम्हें एक बहुत ख़बर रखने वाले की तरह (कोई) नहीं बताएगा।.
Ayah 15
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind! أَنتُمُ You ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ (are) those in need إِلَى of ٱللَّهِ Allah, وَٱللَّهُ while Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need ٱلْحَمِيدُ the Praiseworthy.
English - O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. .
हिंदी - ऐ लोगो, तुम अल्लाह के मोहताज हो और अल्लाह ही बेपरवाह, बहुत तारीफ़ों वाला है।.
Ayah 16
إِن If يَشَأْ He wills, يُذْهِبْكُمْ He (can) do away with you وَيَأْتِ and bring بِخَلْقٍ in a creation جَدِيدٍ new.
English - If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. .
हिंदी - अगर वह चाहे तो तुम्हें ले जाए और एक नई मख़लूक़ ले आए।.
Ayah 17
وَمَا And not ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَى (is) on ٱللَّهِ Allah بِعَزِيزٍ difficult.
English - And that is for Allah not difficult. .
हिंदी - और वह अल्लाह पर कुछ मुश्किल नहीं।.
Ayah 18
وَلَا And not تَزِرُ will bear وَازِرَةٌ bearer of burdens وِزْرَ burden أُخْرَىٰ (of) another. وَإِن And if تَدْعُ calls مُثْقَلَةٌ a heavily laden إِلَىٰ to حِمْلِهَا (carry) its load, لَا not يُحْمَلْ will be carried مِنْهُ of it شَىْءٌ anything وَلَوْ even if كَانَ he be ذَا near of kin. قُرْبَىٰٓ near of kin. إِنَّمَا Only تُنذِرُ you can warn ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَخْشَوْنَ fear رَبَّهُم their Lord - بِٱلْغَيْبِ unseen وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer. وَمَن And whoever تَزَكَّىٰ purifies himself, فَإِنَّمَا then only يَتَزَكَّىٰ he purifies لِنَفْسِهِۦ for his own self. وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination.
English - And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. .
हिंदी - और कोई उठाने वाली (जान) किसी दूसरे का बोझ नहीं उठाएगी और अगर कोई बोझ से लदी (जान) अपने बोझ की तरफ़ बुलाएगी तो उस में से कुछ भी ना उठाया जाएगा, भले ही वह रिश्तेदार हो। तुम सिर्फ उन्हें ख़बरदार करते हो जो अपने पालनहार से बिन देखे डरते हैं और नमाज़्ा क़ायम करते हैं और जिसने पाकी हासिल की तो वह सिर्फ़ अपने लिए पाक होता है और अल्लाह ही की तरफ़ वापसी है।.
Ayah 19
وَمَا And not يَسْتَوِى equal ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ (are) the blind وَٱلْبَصِيرُ and the seeing,
English - Not equal are the blind and the seeing, .
हिंदी - और अंधा और देखने वाला बराबर नहीं,.
Ayah 20
وَلَا And not ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ the darkness[es] وَلَا and not ٱلنُّورُ [the] light,
English - Nor are the darknesses and the light, .
हिंदी - और ना अंधेरे और ना रौशनी,.
Ayah 21
وَلَا And not ٱلظِّلُّ the shade وَلَا and not ٱلْحَرُورُ the heat,
English - Nor are the shade and the heat, .
हिंदी - और ना साया और ना तेज़्ा धूप।.
Ayah 22
وَمَا And not يَسْتَوِى equal ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ (are) the living وَلَا and not ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ the dead. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُسْمِعُ causes to hear مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills, وَمَآ and not أَنتَ you بِمُسْمِعٍ can make hear مَّن (those) who فِى (are) in ٱلْقُبُورِ the graves.
English - And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. .
हिंदी - और बराबर नहीं जि़्ांदे और ना मुर्दे, बेशक अल्लाह सुनाता है जिसे चाहता है और जो क़ब्रों में हैं तुम उन्हें सुनाने वाले नहीं हो।.
Ayah 23
إِنْ Not أَنتَ you (are) إِلَّا but نَذِيرٌ a warner.
English - You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner. .
हिंदी - तुम नहीं हो मगर एक ख़बरदार करने वाले।.
Ayah 24
إِنَّآ Indeed, We أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ [We] have sent you بِٱلْحَقِّ with the truth, بَشِيرًا (as) a bearer of glad tidings وَنَذِيرًا and (as) a warner. وَإِن And not مِّنْ (was) any أُمَّةٍ nation إِلَّا but خَلَا had passed فِيهَا within it نَذِيرٌ a warner.
English - Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner. .
हिंदी - बेशक हम ने तुम्हें हक़ के साथ भेजा ख़ुशख़बरी देने वाला और ख़बरदार करने वाला बना कर और कोई भी उम्मत नहीं है मगर उस में गुज़्ार चुका एक ख़बरदार करने वाला।.
Ayah 25
وَإِن And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ they deny you, فَقَدْ then certainly, كَذَّبَ denied ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) before them. قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them. جَآءَتْهُمْ Came to them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear signs وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ and with Scriptures وَبِٱلْكِتَٰبِ and with the Book ٱلْمُنِيرِ [the] enlightening.
English - And if they deny you – then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture. .
हिंदी - अगर वह तुम्हें झुठलाते हैं तो यक़ीनन उन लोगों ने भी झुठलाया जो उनसे पहले थे, जिनके पास उनके रसूल साफ़ निशानियों के साथ और सहीफ़ों के साथ और रौशन किताब के साथ आए।.
Ayah 26
ثُمَّ Then أَخَذْتُ I seized ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved, فَكَيْفَ and how كَانَ was نَكِيرِ My rejection!
English - Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. .
हिंदी - फिर मैंने उन्हें पकड़ लिया जिन्होंने कुफ्ऱ किया, तो कैसा था मेरा इंकार करना?.
Ayah 27
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah أَنزَلَ sends down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water, فَأَخْرَجْنَا then We bring forth بِهِۦ therewith ثَمَرَٰتٍ fruits مُّخْتَلِفًا (of) various أَلْوَٰنُهَا [their] colors? وَمِنَ And in ٱلْجِبَالِ the mountains جُدَدٌۢ (are) tracts, بِيضٌ white وَحُمْرٌ and red مُّخْتَلِفٌ (of) various أَلْوَٰنُهَا [their] colors, وَغَرَابِيبُ and intensely black. سُودٌ and intensely black.
English - Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black. .
हिंदी - क्या तुम ने नहीं देखा कि अल्लाह ने आसमान से पानी उतारा फिर हमने उस से फल निकाले, जिनके रंग अलग अलग हैं और पहाड़ों में सफ़ैद और लाल हिस्से हैं जिनके रंग अलग अलग हैं और कुछ काले सियाह हैं।.
Ayah 28
وَمِنَ And among ٱلنَّاسِ men وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ and moving creatures وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ and the cattle مُخْتَلِفٌ (are) various أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ [their] colors كَذَٰلِكَ likewise. إِنَّمَا Only يَخْشَى fear ٱللَّهَ Allah مِنْ among عِبَادِهِ His slaves ٱلْعُلَمَٰٓؤُا۟ those who have knowledge. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, غَفُورٌ Oft-Forgiving.
English - And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving. .
हिंदी - और लोगों में से और जानवरों में से और मवेश्यिों में से कुछ के रंग इसी तरह अलग अलग हैं। अल्लाह से उसके बंदों में सिर्फ़ इल्म वाले ही डरते हैं। बेशक अल्लाह बड़ा ज़्ाबरदस्त, बहुत माफ़ करने वाला है।.
Ayah 29
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَتْلُونَ recite كِتَٰبَ (the) Book ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَأَنفَقُوا۟ and spend مِمَّا out of what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ We have provided them, سِرًّا secretly وَعَلَانِيَةً and openly, يَرْجُونَ hope تِجَٰرَةً (for) a commerce - لَّن never تَبُورَ it will perish.
English - Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish – .
हिंदी - बेशक जो अल्लाह की किताब पढ़ते हैं और नमाज़्ा क़ायम करते हैं और जो हमने उन्हें दिया उस में से खोल कर और छिपा कर ख़र्च करते हैं, वह एक ऐसे सौदे की उम्मीद रखते हैं जो कभी बर्बाद नहीं होगा,.
Ayah 30
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ That He may give them in full أُجُورَهُمْ their rewards وَيَزِيدَهُم and increase for them مِّن of فَضْلِهِۦٓ His Bounty. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, شَكُورٌ Most Appreciative.
English - That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative. .
हिंदी - ताकि वह उन्हें उनका बदला भरपूर दे और उन्हें ज़्यादा दे अपने फ़ज़्ल में से। बेशक वह बहुत माफ़ करने वाला, बड़ा क़द्रदान है।.
Ayah 31
وَٱلَّذِىٓ And (that) which أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you مِنَ of ٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Book, هُوَ it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth مُصَدِّقًا confirming لِّمَا what (was) بَيْنَ before it. يَدَيْهِ before it. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves لَخَبِيرٌۢ surely, (is) All-Aware, بَصِيرٌ All-Seer.
English - And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed, Allah, of His servants, is Acquainted and Seeing. .
हिंदी - और हमने जो वही (प्रकाशना) की तुम्हारी तरफ़ किताब में से वह ही हक़ है, सच बताने वाली है उसे जो उस से पहले है। बेशक अल्लाह अपने बंदों से पूरी तरह बाख़बर है, ख़ूब देखने वाला है।.
Ayah 32
ثُمَّ Then أَوْرَثْنَا We caused to inherit ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book ٱلَّذِينَ those whom ٱصْطَفَيْنَا We have chosen مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves; فَمِنْهُمْ and among them ظَالِمٌ (is he) who wrongs لِّنَفْسِهِۦ himself, وَمِنْهُم and among them مُّقْتَصِدٌ (is he who is) moderate, وَمِنْهُمْ and among them سَابِقٌۢ (is he who is) foremost بِٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ in good deeds بِإِذْنِ by permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. ذَٰلِكَ That هُوَ is ٱلْفَضْلُ the Bounty ٱلْكَبِيرُ the great.
English - Then we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty. .
हिंदी - फिर हम ने किताब का वारिस उन्हें बनाया जिन्हें हम ने चुना अपने बंदों में से, तो उनमें से कोई अपनी जान पर ज़्ाुल्म करने वाला है और उनमें से कोई बीच की राह चलने वाला है और उनमें से कोई अल्लाह की इजाज़्ात से भलाइयों में आगे बढ़ने वाला है, यही वह बहुत बड़ा फ़ज़्ल है।.
Ayah 33
جَنَّٰتُ Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) Eternity, يَدْخُلُونَهَا they will enter them. يُحَلَّوْنَ They will be adorned فِيهَا therein مِنْ with أَسَاوِرَ bracelets مِن of ذَهَبٍ gold وَلُؤْلُؤًا and pearls, وَلِبَاسُهُمْ and their garments فِيهَا therein حَرِيرٌ (will be of) silk.
English - [For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk. .
हिंदी - हमेशा रहने के बाग़ हैं जिन में वह दाख़िल होंगे, उन्हें पहनाए जाएंगे उन में सोने के कंगन और मोती और उन में उनका लिबास रेशम होगा।.
Ayah 34
وَقَالُوا۟ And they (will) say, ٱلْحَمْدُ "All praises لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah ٱلَّذِىٓ the One Who أَذْهَبَ (has) removed عَنَّا from us ٱلْحَزَنَ the sorrow. إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّنَا our Lord لَغَفُورٌ (is) surely Oft-Forgiving, شَكُورٌ Most Appreciative,
English - And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative – .
हिंदी - और वह कहेंगे, सारी तारीफ़ उस अल्लाह के लिए है जिसने हम से ग़म को दूर किया, बेशक हमारा पालनहार बहुत माफ़ करने वाला, बड़ा क़द्रदान है,.
Ayah 35
ٱلَّذِىٓ The One Who أَحَلَّنَا has settled us دَارَ (in) a Home ٱلْمُقَامَةِ (of) Eternity مِن (out) of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty. لَا Not يَمَسُّنَا touches us فِيهَا therein نَصَبٌ any fatigue وَلَا and not يَمَسُّنَا touches فِيهَا therein لُغُوبٌ weariness."
English - He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]." .
हिंदी - जिसने हमें अपने फ़ज़्ल से (हमेशा) रहने के घर में उतारा, ना हमें कोई तकलीफ़ इस में छूती है और ना हमें इस में कोई थकान पहुँचती है।.
Ayah 36
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, لَهُمْ for them نَارُ (will be the) Fire جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell. لَا Not يُقْضَىٰ is decreed عَلَيْهِمْ for them فَيَمُوتُوا۟ that they die, وَلَا and not يُخَفَّفُ will be lightened عَنْهُم for them مِّنْ of عَذَابِهَا its torment. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَجْزِى We recompense كُلَّ every كَفُورٍ ungrateful one.
English - And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every ungrateful one. .
हिंदी - और जिन्होंने कुफ्ऱ किया उनके लिए जहन्नम की आग है, ना उनका काम तमाम किया जाएगा कि वह मर जाएं और ना उसके अज़्ााब में से उन से हलका किया जाएगा । इसी तरह हम हर नाशुक्रे को बदला देते हैं।.
Ayah 37
وَهُمْ And they يَصْطَرِخُونَ will cry فِيهَا therein, رَبَّنَآ "Our Lord! أَخْرِجْنَا Bring us out; نَعْمَلْ we will do صَٰلِحًا righteous (deeds) غَيْرَ other than ٱلَّذِى (that) which كُنَّا we used نَعْمَلُ (to) do." أَوَلَمْ Did not نُعَمِّرْكُم We give you life long enough مَّا that يَتَذَكَّرُ (would) receive admonition فِيهِ therein مَن whoever تَذَكَّرَ receives admonition? وَجَآءَكُمُ And came to you ٱلنَّذِيرُ the warner. فَذُوقُوا۟ So taste, فَمَا then not لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ (is) for the wrongdoers مِن any نَّصِيرٍ helper.
English - And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness – other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper. .
हिंदी - और वह उस में चिल्लाएंगे, “ऐ हमारे रब हमें निकाल दे, हम नेक काम करेंगे उसके ख़िलाफ़ जो हम किया करते थे”। क्या हम ने तुम्हें उम्र नहीं दी जिसमें जो समझना चाहता वह समझ लेता, और तुम्हारे पास डराने वाला आ गया, तो चखो कि ज़्ाालिमों के लिए कोई मददगार नहीं।.
Ayah 38
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَٰلِمُ (is the) Knower غَيْبِ (of the) unseen ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌۢ (is the) All-Knower بِذَاتِ of what (is) in the breasts. ٱلصُّدُورِ of what (is) in the breasts.
English - Indeed, Allah is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. .
हिंदी - बेशक अल्लाह आसमानों और ज़्ामीन के भेद को जानने वाला है। बेशक वह सीनों के राज़्ा को ख़ूब जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 39
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who جَعَلَكُمْ made you خَلَٰٓئِفَ successors فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. فَمَن And whoever كَفَرَ disbelieves, فَعَلَيْهِ then upon him كُفْرُهُۥ (is) his disbelief. وَلَا And not يَزِيدُ increase ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers كُفْرُهُمْ their disbelief عِندَ near رَبِّهِمْ their Lord, إِلَّا except مَقْتًا (in) hatred; وَلَا and not يَزِيدُ increase ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers كُفْرُهُمْ their disbelief إِلَّا except خَسَارًا (in) loss.
English - It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves – upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss. .
हिंदी - वही है जिस ने तुम्हें ज़्ामीन में नाइब (ख़लीफ़ा) बनाया, फिर जिस ने कुफ्ऱ किया, तो उसका कुफ्ऱ उसी पर है और काफ़िरों को नहीं बढ़ाता उनका कुफ्ऱ मगर नाराज़्ागी में उनके रब के पास और काफ़िरों को उनका कुफ्ऱ नहीं बढ़ाता मगर घाटे में।.
Ayah 40
قُلْ Say, أَرَءَيْتُمْ "Have you seen شُرَكَآءَكُمُ your partners ٱلَّذِينَ those whom تَدْعُونَ you call مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah?" أَرُونِى Show Me مَاذَا what خَلَقُوا۟ they have created مِنَ from ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, أَمْ or لَهُمْ for them شِرْكٌ (is) a share فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens. أَمْ Or ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ have We given them كِتَٰبًا a Book فَهُمْ so they عَلَىٰ (are) on بَيِّنَتٍ a clear proof مِّنْهُ therefrom? بَلْ Nay, إِن not يَعِدُ promise ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ the wrongdoers بَعْضُهُم some of them بَعْضًا (to) others إِلَّا except غُرُورًا delusion.
English - Say, "Have you considered your 'partners' whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom? [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion." .
हिंदी - कहो, क्या तुम ने अपने शरीकों को देखा जिन्हें तुम अल्लाह के सिवा पुकारते हो? दिखाओ मुझे उन्होंने ज़्ामीन से क्या पैदा किया या कुछ उनका साझा है आसमानों में? या हम ने उन्हें कोई किताब दी है तो वह उस की दलील पर हैं? बल्कि ज़्ाालिम एक दूसरे को धोके का ही वादा करते हैं।.
Ayah 41
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُمْسِكُ upholds ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth, أَن lest تَزُولَا they cease. وَلَئِن And if زَالَتَآ they should cease, إِنْ not أَمْسَكَهُمَا can uphold them مِنْ any أَحَدٍ one مِّنۢ after Him. بَعْدِهِۦٓ after Him. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He كَانَ is حَلِيمًا Most Forbearing, غَفُورًا Oft-Forgiving.
English - Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him. Indeed, He is Forbearing and Forgiving. .
हिंदी - बेशक अल्लाह आसमानांे और ज़्ामीन को खिसक जाने से थामे रखता है और अगर वह दोनों खिसक जाएं तो उसके बाद उन दोनों को कोई भी ना रोक सकेगा। बेशक वह बहुत बर्दाश्त वाला, बड़ा माफ़ करने वाला है।.
Ayah 42
وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ And they swore بِٱللَّهِ by Allah جَهْدَ (the) strongest أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ (of) their oaths لَئِن that if جَآءَهُمْ came to them نَذِيرٌ a warner, لَّيَكُونُنَّ surely, they would be أَهْدَىٰ more guided مِنْ than إِحْدَى any ٱلْأُمَمِ (of) the nations. فَلَمَّا But when جَآءَهُمْ came to them نَذِيرٌ a warner, مَّا not زَادَهُمْ it increased them إِلَّا but نُفُورًا (in) aversion,
English - And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than [any] one of the [previous] nations. But when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion. .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने अल्लाह की पक्की क़समें खाईं, “अगर कोई ख़बरदार करने वाला उनके पास आया तो वह हर उम्मत से ज़्यादा सीधे रास्ते पर होंगे”, फिर जब उनके पास ख़बरदार करने वाला आया तो उसने नहीं बढ़ाई उन में मगर नफ़रत,.
Ayah 43
ٱسْتِكْبَارًا (Due to) arrogance فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land وَمَكْرَ and plotting ٱلسَّيِّئِ (of) the evil; وَلَا but not يَحِيقُ encompasses ٱلْمَكْرُ the plot ٱلسَّيِّئُ (of) the evil إِلَّا except بِأَهْلِهِۦ its own people. فَهَلْ Then do يَنظُرُونَ they wait إِلَّا except سُنَّتَ (the) way ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people)? فَلَن But never تَجِدَ you will find لِسُنَّتِ in (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah تَبْدِيلًا any change, وَلَن and never تَجِدَ you will find لِسُنَّتِ in (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah تَحْوِيلًا any alteration.
English - [Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way of Allah any change, and you will never find in the way of Allah any alteration. .
हिंदी - ज़्ामीन में ग़्ाुरूर करने और बुरी चाल चलने की वजह से, और बुुरी चाल नहीं घेरती मगर उसके चलने वाले को, तो वह इंतेज़्ाार नहीं करते मगर पहलों के तरीक़े का, तो बिल्कुल तुम अल्लाह के तरीक़े में कोई बदलाव नहीं पाओगे और बिल्कुल तुम अल्लाह के तरीक़े में कोई फेर नहीं पाओगे।.
Ayah 44
أَوَلَمْ Have they not يَسِيرُوا۟ traveled فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَيَنظُرُوا۟ and seen كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who مِن (were) before them? قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them? وَكَانُوٓا۟ And they were أَشَدَّ stronger مِنْهُمْ than them قُوَّةً (in) power. وَمَا But not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ Allah لِيُعْجِزَهُۥ that can escape (from) Him مِن any شَىْءٍ thing فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He كَانَ is عَلِيمًا All-Knower, قَدِيرًا All-Powerful.
English - Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent. .
हिंदी - क्या वह ज़्ामीन में चले फिरे नहीं कि वह देखते कैसा अंजाम हुआ उनका जो उनसे पहले थे और वह ताक़त में उनसे ज़्यादा सख़्त थे और अल्लाह नहीं है कि उसे कोई भी चीज़्ा बेबस कर दे, आसमानों में और ना ही ज़्ामीन में। बेशक वह ख़ूब जानने वाला, बड़ा क़ुदरत वाला है।.
Ayah 45
وَلَوْ And if يُؤَاخِذُ Allah (were to) punish ٱللَّهُ Allah (were to) punish ٱلنَّاسَ the people بِمَا for what كَسَبُوا۟ they have earned, مَا not تَرَكَ He would leave عَلَىٰ on ظَهْرِهَا its back مِن any دَآبَّةٍ creature. وَلَٰكِن But يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ He gives them respite إِلَىٰٓ till أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed. فَإِذَا And when جَآءَ comes أَجَلُهُمْ their term, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah كَانَ is بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves بَصِيرًۢا All-Seer.
English - And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing. .
हिंदी - और अगर अल्लाह लोगों की पकड़ करता, उस पर जो उन लोगों ने कमाया तो इसकी (ज़्ामीन की) पीठ पर किसी भी रेंगने वाले को ना छोड़ता, लेकिन वह उन्हें ढ़ील देता है एक तय वक़्त तक, तो जब उनका वक़्त आजाएगा, तो बेशक अल्लाह अपने बंदों पर ख़ूब निगाह रखने वाला है।.
