الٓمٓ Alif Lam Meem.

हिंदी - अलिफ़ लाम मीम।.
Ayah 2
تَنزِيلُ (The) revelation ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book, لَا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ about it, مِن from رَّبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds.
English - [This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds. .
हिंदी - किताब का उतारा जाना, सारे जहानों के पालनहार की तरफ़ से है जिस में कोई शक नहीं है।.
Ayah 3
أَمْ Or يَقُولُونَ (do) they say, ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ "He invented it?" بَلْ Nay, هُوَ it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord لِتُنذِرَ that you may warn قَوْمًا a people مَّآ not أَتَىٰهُم has come to them مِّن any نَّذِيرٍ warner مِّن before you قَبْلِكَ before you لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَهْتَدُونَ be guided.
English - Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muhammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided. .
हिंदी - क्या यह लोग कहते हैं कि उस ने गढ़ लिया है इसे? बल्कि वह सच है तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से ताकि तुम ऐसे लोगों को ख़बरदार करो जिनके पास तुम से पहले कोई भी ख़बरदार करने वाला नहीं आया, ताकि वह हिदायत पा जाएं।.
Ayah 4
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth وَمَا and whatever بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between them فِى in سِتَّةِ six أَيَّامٍ periods. ثُمَّ Then ٱسْتَوَىٰ established Himself عَلَى on ٱلْعَرْشِ the Throne. مَا Not لَكُم for you مِّن besides Him دُونِهِۦ besides Him مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not شَفِيعٍ any intercessor. أَفَلَا Then will not تَتَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed?
English - It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded? .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ही है जिसने आसमानों और ज़्ामीन को और जो इन दोनों के बीच है, छह दिनों में पैदा किया, फिर तख़्त पर क़ायम हो गया। तुम्हारे लिए उसके सिवा न कोई दोस्त है और ना कोई सिफ़ारिशी, तो क्या तुम समझते नहीं?.
Ayah 5
يُدَبِّرُ He regulates ٱلْأَمْرَ the affair مِنَ of ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven إِلَى to ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth; ثُمَّ then يَعْرُجُ it will ascend إِلَيْهِ to Him فِى in يَوْمٍ a Day, كَانَ (the) measure of which is مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ (the) measure of which is أَلْفَ a thousand سَنَةٍ years مِّمَّا of what تَعُدُّونَ you count.
English - He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count. .
हिंदी - वह आसमान से ज़्ामीन तक के मामले की तदबीर (उपाय) करता है, फिर वह उसकी तरफ़ ऊपर चढ़ता है, एक ऐसे दिन में जिसकी मिक़दार (माप) तुम्हारी गिनती से एक हज़्ाार साल है।.
Ayah 6
ذَٰلِكَ That عَٰلِمُ (is the) Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the hidden وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the witnessed, ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful,
English - That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, .
हिंदी - वह जानने वाला है छुपे और खुले का, बहुत ज़्ाबरदस्त और ख़ूब रहम करने वाला है,.
Ayah 7
ٱلَّذِىٓ The One Who أَحْسَنَ made good كُلَّ every شَىْءٍ thing خَلَقَهُۥ He created, وَبَدَأَ and He began خَلْقَ (the) creation ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ (of) man مِن from طِينٍ clay.
English - Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay. .
हिंदी - जिसने हर उस चीज़्ा को जिसे उसने पैदा किया, बेहतर बनाया, और इंसान की पैदाइश की शु़रुआत मिट्टी से की।.
Ayah 8
ثُمَّ Then جَعَلَ He made نَسْلَهُۥ his progeny مِن from سُلَٰلَةٍ an extract مِّن of مَّآءٍ water مَّهِينٍ despised.
English - Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained. .
हिंदी - फिर उसने एक बेक़द्र (गंदे) पानी के निचोड़ से उसकी नस्ल बनाई।.
Ayah 9
ثُمَّ Then سَوَّىٰهُ He fashioned him وَنَفَخَ and breathed فِيهِ into him مِن from رُّوحِهِۦ His spirit وَجَعَلَ and made لَكُمُ for you ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ and the sight وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ and feelings; قَلِيلًا little مَّا [what] تَشْكُرُونَ thanks you give.
English - Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. .
हिंदी - फिर उस को ठीक किया और उस में अपनी रूह फूंकी और तुम्हारे लिए बनाए, कान और आंखें और दिल, बहुत ही कम तुम शुक्र अदा करते हो।.
Ayah 10
وَقَالُوٓا۟ And they say, أَءِذَا "Is (it) when ضَلَلْنَا we are lost فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, أَءِنَّا will we لَفِى certainly be in خَلْقٍ a creation جَدِيدٍۭ new?" بَلْ Nay, هُم they بِلِقَآءِ in (the) meeting رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord كَٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers.
English - And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers. .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने कहा, क्या जब हम ज़्ामीन में खो जाएंगे, तो क्या हम यक़ीनन नई पैदाइश में होंगे? बल्कि वह अपने रब से मिलने का इंकार करने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 11
قُلْ Say, يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم "Will take your soul مَّلَكُ (the) Angel ٱلْمَوْتِ (of) the death ٱلَّذِى the one who وُكِّلَ has been put in charge بِكُمْ of you. ثُمَّ Then إِلَىٰ to رَبِّكُمْ your Lord تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned."
English - Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned." .
हिंदी - कहो, मौत का फ़रिश्ता तुम्हारी जान निकालेगा जिसे तुम पर तैनात किया गया है, फिर तुम अपने रब की तरफ़ लौटाए जाओगे।.
Ayah 12
وَلَوْ And if تَرَىٰٓ you (could) see إِذِ when ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals نَاكِسُوا۟ (will) hang رُءُوسِهِمْ their heads عِندَ before رَبِّهِمْ their Lord, رَبَّنَآ "Our Lord أَبْصَرْنَا we have seen وَسَمِعْنَا and we have heard, فَٱرْجِعْنَا so return us, نَعْمَلْ we will do صَٰلِحًا righteous (deeds). إِنَّا Indeed, we مُوقِنُونَ (are now) certain."
English - If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain." .
हिंदी - और अगर तुम देखते, जब मुजरिम अपने रब के पास अपने सरों को झुकाए हुए होंगे, (कहेंगे) ऐ हमारे रब, हमने देख लिया और सुन लिया, अब हमें लौटा दे, हम नेक काम करेंगे, बेशक हम यक़ीन करने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 13
وَلَوْ And if شِئْنَا We (had) willed, لَءَاتَيْنَا surely We (would) have given كُلَّ every نَفْسٍ soul هُدَىٰهَا its guidance, وَلَٰكِنْ but حَقَّ (is) true ٱلْقَوْلُ the Word مِنِّى from Me لَأَمْلَأَنَّ that I will surely fill جَهَنَّمَ Hell مِنَ with ٱلْجِنَّةِ the jinn وَٱلنَّاسِ and the men أَجْمَعِينَ together.
English - And if we had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together. .
हिंदी - और अगर हम चाहते, तो हर जान को उसकी हिदायत (सूझ) दे देते, लेकिन मेरी तरफ़ से बात सच होकर रही कि मैं ज़्ारूर जहन्नम को जिन्न और इंसान सबसे भर दूँगा।.
Ayah 14
فَذُوقُوا۟ So taste بِمَا because نَسِيتُمْ you forgot لِقَآءَ (the) meeting, يَوْمِكُمْ (of) this Day of yours. هَٰذَآ (of) this Day of yours. إِنَّا Indeed, We نَسِينَٰكُمْ have forgotten you. وَذُوقُوا۟ And taste عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْخُلْدِ (of) eternity بِمَا for what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do." .
हिंदी - तो चखो कि तुम ने अपने इस दिन की मुलाक़ात को भुला दिया। बेशक हम ने तुम्हें भुला दिया और चखो हमेशा का अज़्ााब उसके बदले जो तुम किया करते थे।.
Ayah 15
إِنَّمَا Only يُؤْمِنُ believe بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا in Our Verses ٱلَّذِينَ those who إِذَا when ذُكِّرُوا۟ they are reminded بِهَا of them خَرُّوا۟ fall down سُجَّدًا prostrating وَسَبَّحُوا۟ and glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praises رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord, وَهُمْ and they لَا are not arrogant. يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ are not arrogant.
English - Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant. .
हिंदी - हमारी आयतों पर सिर्फ़ वह ईमान लाते हैं कि जब उन्हें उन (आयतों) की याद दिलाई जाती है, तो वह सजदे करते हुए, गिर पड़ते हैं और पाकी बयान करते हैं अपने रब की तारीफ़ के साथ और वह घमंड नहीं करते।.
Ayah 16
تَتَجَافَىٰ Forsake جُنُوبُهُمْ their sides عَنِ from ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ (their) beds; يَدْعُونَ they call رَبَّهُمْ their Lord خَوْفًا (in) fear وَطَمَعًا and hope, وَمِمَّا and out of what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ We have provided them يُنفِقُونَ they spend.
English - They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend. .
हिंदी - अलग रहते हैं उनके पहलू बिस्तरों से, पुकारते हैं अपने रब को डर और उम्मीद में और उस में से वह ख़र्च करते हैं जो हम ने उन्हें दिया है।.
Ayah 17
فَلَا And not تَعْلَمُ knows نَفْسٌ a soul مَّآ what أُخْفِىَ is hidden لَهُم for them مِّن of قُرَّةِ (the) comfort أَعْيُنٍ (for) the eyes جَزَآءًۢ (as) a reward بِمَا for what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do. .
हिंदी - फिर कोई नफ़्स (जान) नहीं जानता उसे, जो आँखों की ठंडक उनके लिए छुपाई गई है, बदला है उसका जो वह किया करते थे।.
Ayah 18
أَفَمَن Then is one who كَانَ is مُؤْمِنًا a believer كَمَن like (him) who كَانَ is فَاسِقًا defiantly disobedient? لَّا Not يَسْتَوُۥنَ they are equal.
English - Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal. .

Ayah 19
أَمَّا As for ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds, فَلَهُمْ then for them جَنَّٰتُ (are) Gardens ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ (of) Refuge نُزُلًۢا (as) hospitality بِمَا for what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do. .
हिंदी - रहे वह लोग जो ईमान लाए और नेक काम करते रहे तो उनके लिए रहने के बाग़ हैं, मेहमानी है उसके बदले जो वह किया करते थे।.
Ayah 20
وَأَمَّا But as for ٱلَّذِينَ those who فَسَقُوا۟ are defiantly disobedient فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ then their refuge ٱلنَّارُ (is) the Fire. كُلَّمَآ Every time أَرَادُوٓا۟ they wish أَن to يَخْرُجُوا۟ come out مِنْهَآ from it, أُعِيدُوا۟ they (will) be returned فِيهَا in it, وَقِيلَ and it (will) be said لَهُمْ to them, ذُوقُوا۟ "Taste عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire ٱلَّذِى which كُنتُم you used (to) بِهِۦ [in it] تُكَذِّبُونَ deny."
English - But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny." .
हिंदी - और रहे वह लोग जिन्होंने नाफ़रमानी की तो उनका ठिकाना आग है, जब जब वह उस से निकलना चाहेंगे, उस में लौटा दिए जाएंगे और उनसे कहा जाएगा, “चखो उस आग का अज़्ााब जिसे तुम झुठलाया करते थे”।.
Ayah 21
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم And surely, We will let them taste مِّنَ of ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ the nearer دُونَ before ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment ٱلْأَكْبَرِ the greater, لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَرْجِعُونَ return.
English - And we will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will repent. .
हिंदी - और हम उन्हें ज़्ारूर छोटे अज़्ााब का मज़्ाा चखाएंगे, बड़े अज़्ााब से पहले, शायद कि वह लौट आएं।.
Ayah 22
وَمَنْ And who أَظْلَمُ (is) more unjust مِمَّن than (he) who ذُكِّرَ is reminded بِـَٔايَٰتِ of (the) Verses رَبِّهِۦ (of) his Lord, ثُمَّ then أَعْرَضَ he turns away عَنْهَآ from them? إِنَّا Indeed, We مِنَ from ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ the criminals, مُنتَقِمُونَ (will) take retribution.
English - And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution. .
हिंदी - और उससे बड़ा ज़्ाालिम कौन है जिसे उसके रब की आयतों से समझाया गया फिर उसने उनसे मुँह मोड़ लिया, बेशक हम मुजरिमों से इंतेक़ाम लेने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 23
وَلَقَدْ And certainly ءَاتَيْنَا We gave مُوسَى Musa ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Scripture, فَلَا so (do) not تَكُن be فِى in مِرْيَةٍ doubt مِّن about لِّقَآئِهِۦ receiving it. وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ And We made it هُدًى a guide لِّبَنِىٓ for the Children of Israel. إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ for the Children of Israel.
English - And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel. .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन हम ने मूसा को किताब अता की तो तुम उसकी मुलाक़ात से किसी शक मंे ना रहो और हम ने उस को इसराईल की औलाद के लिए हिदायत बनाया।.
Ayah 24
وَجَعَلْنَا And We made مِنْهُمْ from them أَئِمَّةً leaders يَهْدُونَ guiding بِأَمْرِنَا by Our Command لَمَّا when صَبَرُوا۟ they were patient وَكَانُوا۟ and they were بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا of Our Verses يُوقِنُونَ certain.
English - And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs. .
हिंदी - और हम ने उन में से कई रहनुमा बनाए जो हमारे हुक्म से रास्ता बताते थे, जब उन्होंने सब्र किया और वह हमारी आयतों पर यक़ीन रखते थे।.
Ayah 25
إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord هُوَ [He] يَفْصِلُ will judge بَيْنَهُمْ between them يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) Resurrection فِيمَا in what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) فِيهِ [in it] يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ.
English - Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. .
हिंदी - बेशक तुम्हारा रब उनके बीच फ़ैसला करेगा क़यामत के दिन, जिस में वह इख़्तिलाफ़ (मतभेद) किया करते थे।.
Ayah 26
أَوَلَمْ Does it not يَهْدِ guide لَهُمْ [for] them, كَمْ (that) how many أَهْلَكْنَا We have destroyed مِن before them قَبْلِهِم before them مِّنَ of ٱلْقُرُونِ the generations, يَمْشُونَ they walk about فِى in مَسَٰكِنِهِمْ their dwellings. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely, are Signs. أَفَلَا Then do not يَسْمَعُونَ they hear?
English - Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear? .
हिंदी - क्या उन्हें नहीं सूझा कि हम ने कितनी उम्मतों को उन से पहले हलाक कर दिया जो अपने घरोें में चलते फिरते थे। बेशक इस में कई निशानियाँ हैं, तो क्या वह नहीं सुनते?.
Ayah 27
أَوَلَمْ Do not يَرَوْا۟ they see أَنَّا that We نَسُوقُ drive ٱلْمَآءَ water إِلَى to ٱلْأَرْضِ the land ٱلْجُرُزِ [the] barren, فَنُخْرِجُ then We bring forth بِهِۦ thereby زَرْعًا crops, تَأْكُلُ eat مِنْهُ from it أَنْعَٰمُهُمْ their cattle وَأَنفُسُهُمْ and they themselves? أَفَلَا Then do not يُبْصِرُونَ they see?
English - Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see? .
हिंदी - क्या उन्होंने नहीं देखा कि कैसे हम पानी को सूखे ज़्ामीन की तरफ़ ले जाते हैं, फिर उस से हम खेती उपजाते हैं जिस से उनके जानवर और ख़ुद वह खाते हैं, तो क्या वह देखते नहीं?.
Ayah 28
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, مَتَىٰ "When (will be) هَٰذَا this ٱلْفَتْحُ decision, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful?"
English - And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?" .
हिंदी - और वह कहते हैं, “कब है यह वादा अगर तुम सच्चे हो”?.
Ayah 29
قُلْ Say, يَوْمَ "(On the) Day ٱلْفَتْحِ (of) the Decision, لَا not يَنفَعُ will benefit ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve إِيمَٰنُهُمْ their belief وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُنظَرُونَ will be granted respite."
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved." .
हिंदी - कहो, फ़तह के दिन, जिन्होंने कुफ्ऱ किया उन्हें फ़ायदा नहीं देगा उनका ईमान लाना, और ना उन्हें ढ़ील दी जाएगी।.
Ayah 30
فَأَعْرِضْ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them وَٱنتَظِرْ and wait. إِنَّهُم Indeed, they مُّنتَظِرُونَ (are) waiting.
English - So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting. .
हिंदी - तो तुम उनसे मुँह मोड़ लो और इंतेज़्ाार करो, बेशक वह (भी) इंतेज़्ाार कर रहे हैं।.
